The Guardian for this meeting was Tarmel Udimo. The comments are by Tarmel Udimo. I arrived late because we had just lost daylightsavings and so was an hour behind. Luckily I had come on early and Yakuzza alerted me.

    Hokon Cazalet: hi Qt =)
    Qt Core: hi Hokon
Qt Core: maybe my memory is failing, have you ever been here ?
Hokon Cazalet: yup a few times
    Qt Core: ok :-)
Hokon Cazalet: but im new to this spot in general
Qt Core: if you follow the path that goes north from here you may found a little art exhibit made by PaB members about pab's theme
    Hokon Cazalet: oh cool
Hokon Cazalet: i havnt gone there yet
Qt Core: on your route there you may find small plots where each member (that is the one wanting to to that) have build their own little space here, live a little weird village ;-)
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe cool =)
Hokon Cazalet: ill explore it sometime then =)
Qt Core: going with geography as i don't have a theme to discuss ;-)
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe
Bertram Jacobus: hi hokon and qt :-)
    Hokon Cazalet: hi =)
    Qt Core: hi bert
Bertram Jacobus: nice to see you here on this easter monday morning - hokon - you´re from australia ? :-)
    Hokon Cazalet: nope, usa
Hokon Cazalet: but my best sl friend is from there =)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning everyone
Bertram Jacobus: ah whaow - then it must be deep in the night where you live hokon ! ;-)
    Hokon Cazalet: hi yakuzza
Hokon Cazalet: lol yup, 3am for me
Bertram Jacobus: and good morning yaku ! :-)
    Qt Core: hi yaku
Bertram Jacobus: here it´s 10 pm now and yesterday i went to bed at 3:30 pm "too" ;-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: any topic ?
Bertram Jacobus: quite late for me ... ;-)
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe
Qt Core: 10am here and last time i saw the clock tonight it was 4am
Qt Core: i have to stop reading interesting books ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: what was it ?
Bertram Jacobus: whaaow ! what did you read qt ?
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe
Qt Core: a book about black holes by SSusskind
    Hokon Cazalet: cool
Hokon Cazalet: black holes are a fun topic
Bertram Jacobus: so - phantasy literature *wink* ... ;o)
    Hokon Cazalet: :Þ
Qt Core: you need a lot of them to understand those holes ;-)
    Qt Core: that
Bertram Jacobus: "understand" ? what can one understand about them ? theories only i guess, no ?
Hokon Cazalet: we've gotten some evidence astronomically to suggest they exist
Qt Core: yes, and for some of the observation about them we have to wait some hundreds billion years (at least)
    Bertram Jacobus: i think, i won´t live so long ... hm ;-)

    --BELL--

    Hokon Cazalet: hi rhia =)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: morning rhi
Bertram Jacobus: hello senator ! ;-)
    Qt Core: hi Rhiannon
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Berram
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Qt
Bertram Jacobus: take a seat if you like rhia
Rhiannon Dragoone: so this is where the real philosophers hang out in sl
    Bertram Jacobus: i wouldn´t call myself a "philosopher", more a ... hm - searching for words ... ;-)
Rhiannon Dragoone: well, searching for words is a start
Bertram Jacobus: interested in the center of being perhaps
Bertram Jacobus: and in most other too lol
Bertram Jacobus: trying to search, find and live the end of all suffering so to say
Yakuzza Lethecus: rhi: you´ve been in the cafe, have you been here before too ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: here everything will be logged and posted on our website
Qt Core: to log whenever we found a little new truth piece... or say something silly ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: hokon - i never saw you here before - or do i fail in taht ? are you here sometimes ? ...
Hokon Cazalet: im new here, not my first time, but im new
Bertram Jacobus: nicely said qt ! applause ! :o)
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe Qt
    Rhiannon Dragoone: ty
Rhiannon Dragoone: sorry, i was afk
    Hokon Cazalet: thats ok =)
Rhiannon Dragoone: i've never been here before, Yakuzza
Bertram Jacobus: and i see in your profile that you are in a "seeking nirvana group" hokon - did you find already something ? ... :-)
Hokon Cazalet: hehe, its a defunct group now; but was a place where many of my spiritual friends met up at =)
Yakuzza Lethecus: ok, i grab the log, tarmel isn´t online
Bertram Jacobus: ah. great ! : many spiritual friends ... :-)
    Hokon Cazalet: =)
Rhiannon Dragoone: if ur starting a sesson, perhaps i should leave, as i don't have time to do this now
    Yakuzza Lethecus: no stay
Hokon Cazalet: many have left sl though, so; its kinda empty now
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s general chat most of the time
Rhiannon Dragoone: but u do this frequently
Rhiannon Dragoone: oh, okay, i'll stay then
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s nothing special with the 4 times :)
Rhiannon Dragoone: but i can't stay long
Hokon Cazalet: there's no assigned topic for this session it seems
Yakuzza Lethecus: different ppl each time :)
Bertram Jacobus: and did you also learn to know already the here on pab practised method(s) - the 9 seconds micro meditations ? (sorry for my bad english please) hokon (and rhi) ... ;-)
Hokon Cazalet: oh those 90 secs of silence? yes i noticed that =)
Bertram Jacobus: no. no assigned topic. bot above all like a headline : our pab practise (bur for sure not only this)
Rhiannon Dragoone: no, i am completely naive about this place
Qt Core: we rarely have an assigned topic we wait for someone to have something he/she like to discuss or just share
    Hokon Cazalet: ok
    Rhiannon Dragoone nods
Bertram Jacobus: no. not only those 90 - it´s like even much more : over the whole day all 15 minutes 9 seconds (!) ...
Hokon Cazalet: oh i was unaware of that
Bertram Jacobus: it´s like an experiment to research being, quite intersting angle how i find ...
Hokon Cazalet: im curious about the place myself
Bertram Jacobus: it´s easy to find out what´s happening here, another thing to try to parctise , my impression ... ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: but very precious, especially the group - to me ...
    Bertram Jacobus: very supporting
Hokon Cazalet: =) that ive noticed here
Bertram Jacobus: happy to read that ! :-)
Bertram Jacobus: do you have meditation practise ?
Hokon Cazalet: naw, not at this time
Bertram Jacobus: (if i may ask) ...
Hokon Cazalet: but i would like to do something eventually

    --BELL--

Hokon Cazalet: cuz ive tried it a few times, and i liked the results
Bertram Jacobus: nice. for me, it´s so important (!) - but also important, not to evangelise in find ... ;-)
    Bertram Jacobus: i*
Hokon Cazalet: cool, yeah its good to not go preaching stuff
Hokon Cazalet: brb i need a snack =)
Hokon Cazalet: havnt eaten in hours
Rhiannon Dragoone: i need to leave 2 but i'm glad i found this place
Rhiannon Dragoone: i will be back
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care rhi
Bertram Jacobus: welcome rhia - hope to meet you again
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good night
Qt Core: bye Rhiannon, have fun
Bertram Jacobus: have a great time
    Rhiannon Dragoone: u 2 Yakuzza
    Rhiannon Dragoone: Bertram, me 2
    Bertram Jacobus: :-)
Rhiannon Dragoone: thanks for having me, Qt
    Hokon Cazalet: back, yummy brownies
Bertram Jacobus: (take another coffee, brb) ... :-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi tarmel :)
    Qt Core: hi Tamel
    Hokon Cazalet: hi tarmel
    Tarmel Udimo: hi there
Tarmel Udimo: wasn't planning on coming but got an invitation and here I am:)
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, but isn´t it ur slot right now ? :)
    Bertram Jacobus: (back) . nice ! : hello tarmel ... :-)
    Hokon Cazalet: wb
    Bertram Jacobus: ty
Tarmel Udimo: opps, you are right,, we just had daylight savings, so sorry
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, it´s fine, lol
    Tarmel Udimo: grins
Yakuzza Lethecus: australia just changed the clocks
    Yakuzza Lethecus: that´s wired
    Bertram Jacobus: ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: weired
Tarmel Udimo: yes I know, we have gone backwards
    Bertram Jacobus: why weird ?
Tarmel Udimo: I think its out of sync with the rest of the world
    Bertram Jacobus: oh
    Bertram Jacobus: lol
    Bertram Jacobus: okey
Yakuzza Lethecus: i thought the american´s were already weired doing that 2 weeks before most of the country´s
Tarmel Udimo: so now it is 6:39
Qt Core: two week ago for europe and 4 for usa
Qt Core: one for eu, not two
Bertram Jacobus: so - will the world ever unite ? ;o)
Yakuzza Lethecus: when we stop with DST
    Yakuzza Lethecus: like alaska,hawaii,arizona
    Yakuzza Lethecus: china
Yakuzza Lethecus: and many other eastern nations
Qt Core: well, china has this weird thing about havino only one timezone for all the country
Tarmel Udimo: oh wow I didn't know that
Bertram Jacobus: whow ! didn´t know that ...
Bertram Jacobus: gimme 5 please tarmel ? ;-)
Qt Core: so the people on extreme east and west are perpetually on a kind of dst (and reverse dst)
    Tarmel Udimo: giving you five:)
    Bertram Jacobus: ty ! :o)
Tarmel Udimo: well I love daylight savings
Tarmel Udimo: I hate when its dark at 5:00pm
Hokon Cazalet: i gotta head out, almost 4am for me = have fun all =)
Hokon Cazalet: hehe me too tarmel
Yakuzza Lethecus: so you love it when it´s dark at 8 pm instead ?
    Tarmel Udimo: bye Hokon
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care hokon
Bertram Jacobus: in my morning meditation i found a new idae how to practise together with others rl : only meet for silent meditation in a public room. would like it. after having done many forms with different rituals ...
    Hokon Cazalet: you too =)
    Bertram Jacobus: bye hokon
    Qt Core: bye Hokon
Tarmel Udimo: hey betram, that's a great idea
    Tarmel Udimo: bertram
Bertram Jacobus: will see, whether i find some people to join that ...
    Tarmel Udimo: good luck
Bertram Jacobus: may be talk a bit afterwards
Bertram Jacobus: if somebody likes to
Tarmel Udimo: espacially if its within walking distance
Bertram Jacobus: but not in that room

    --BELL--

Tarmel Udimo: well most buddhist centers are like that aren't they
Bertram Jacobus: yes. i have already an idea for a very nice place very central in our town
Bertram Jacobus: buddhist centers ? are like what, please ? :-)
Tarmel Udimo: well there is usually a meditation room
Tarmel Udimo: and you can go in and meditate
    Tarmel Udimo: with others
    Tarmel Udimo: or not
Bertram Jacobus: ah. i see. the centers i know here ... are more for the members , mostly ...
Bertram Jacobus: a matter of money, too
Tarmel Udimo: yes they mostly are but they would not stop someone from wanting to drop in
Bertram Jacobus: mostly they are not very rich
Tarmel Udimo: I mean its kinda like a church
    Bertram Jacobus: in contrary
Bertram Jacobus: and so they are not so often opened
    Tarmel Udimo: ahhh understand
Bertram Jacobus: only when they do their own practise
    Tarmel Udimo: nods
Qt Core: what about a park ?
Bertram Jacobus: park depends on the wheather, at least "a bit" ;-)
Bertram Jacobus: but what we have here
Qt Core: and if open in early morning
Bertram Jacobus: is a great "room of silence", it´s from the catholic church - and i´m no member of the christian churches anymore (!) - but this room is very often opened, two floors under the earth and very very central. mostly empty (!) ... :-)
Tarmel Udimo: yes churches can provide that
Tarmel Udimo: in fact you expand on the idea and there
Bertram Jacobus: yes ! they are much more established ..
Tarmel Udimo: were just centers of silence
Tarmel Udimo: that anyone could enter
Bertram Jacobus: and i would suggest, when one uses it, to give always a bit for it, a donation
Tarmel Udimo: and pray or meditate or just be silent
    Tarmel Udimo: yes
Bertram Jacobus: the idea of free willingly payment i like very much ...
Tarmel Udimo: well its pretty intrinsic to most
Bertram Jacobus: even think sometimes : could be a model for future, after pure capitalism ...
Tarmel Udimo: yes well good luck on getting rid of capitalism
    Tarmel Udimo: :)
Bertram Jacobus: and my next thought was : should that room become "too small" - its not big - or also simply as next idea : one could do thoses meetings / meditations also in churches (!) :-))
    Bertram Jacobus: those*
Tarmel Udimo: good idea excpet I don't think the churches would like this:)
    Bertram Jacobus: am not sure
Bertram Jacobus: we would give donations (!) ;-)
Tarmel Udimo: remember churches are all about conversion
Qt Core: thinking about the silence i found a couple time when visiting Milan's Duome, a centuries old silence
    Qt Core: Duomo
Bertram Jacobus: but they search also desperately for new ways ...
    Tarmel Udimo: true Bertram
Tarmel Udimo: that sounds amazing QT
Qt Core: it is big enough that you can find silence even if there is a mass ongoing
    Tarmel Udimo: wow
Bertram Jacobus: and is inevitably i think : in modern, more knowing then believing oriented times ... all changes and when the churches want to survive ... they must open themselfes for somethin(s) ... ;-)
    Tarmel Udimo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan_Cathedral
Bertram Jacobus: and i agree very much qt - therefore my idea of doing the meditations also in churches
Bertram Jacobus: the places and buildings often are really great
    Bertram Jacobus: athmospheric ...
Tarmel Udimo: yes churches are sacred spaces and have built up a wonderful sacred aura
Tarmel Udimo: we muts do that in our own lives
Qt Core: for single people there should not be problems, but if it is a group entering several times (even if with the right behaviour the priest may become curious :-)
Tarmel Udimo: build sacred spaces, both internally and externally
    Tarmel Udimo: hahahaha
    Tarmel Udimo: yes QT
Qt Core: i contributed a couple lines to that article, Tarmel :-)
Bertram Jacobus: my idea is to use all churches here - and we have MANY
Bertram Jacobus: so it´s not nessecairy to be often in only one ...
    Tarmel Udimo: :)
Bertram Jacobus: and most of the times there are no priests ...
Tarmel Udimo: I am sensing a subtext here Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: which one is it tarmel ?

    --BELL--

Tarmel Udimo: I subtle way of changing these churces
Tarmel Udimo: (opps sorry the bell)
Bertram Jacobus: no. not my motivation. ok : may be a side effect. but would need much time may be and work and all that. and i don´t focus on that. i focus on meditation with these ideas.
    Tarmel Udimo: sure of course
Tarmel Udimo: hey I am very pro meditation
Tarmel Udimo: I have moved so far away from the traditional christain views
Bertram Jacobus: i didn´t understand anything else tarmel ! ;-)
Qt Core: you may find it easier with younger priests
Tarmel Udimo: I think it would be great for us to take over the churces
Tarmel Udimo: yes true enough QT
Bertram Jacobus: i always like - communities . with all groups . pab is a very nice example to me for that , for example ;o)
    Tarmel Udimo: ok
Qt Core: time to go, things to see, food to cook
Bertram Jacobus: bye qt - have a nice day ! *wave*
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye everyone
Tarmel Udimo: oh ok nice to see you QT
    Bertram Jacobus: bye yaku
Qt Core: i'll try, have fun you all
Yakuzza Lethecus: tarmel did you reclaim the log ?
Tarmel Udimo: actually no I didn't
Tarmel Udimo: tks for the reminder
    Tarmel Udimo: sorry phone
    Tarmel Udimo: back
Bertram Jacobus: and perhaps i may report in short : first i searched whatever in christian groups - for sure , i´m in this cultural sourrounding. didn´t find anything, searched in other systems. wre very angry with christian hierarchies for some time, lost the view for the essence of that ...
    Tarmel Udimo: understand
    Tarmel Udimo: yes
Bertram Jacobus: and then, after having found a bit in hinduism, buddhism - i found also the essence in christs teachings too : the love ...
Tarmel Udimo: yes love is tricky
Tarmel Udimo: because there is an assumption you need to give love to something external
Bertram Jacobus: love is often misunderstand or mixed up with other aspects
    Tarmel Udimo: agree
Bertram Jacobus: even contrary ones (!) ;-)
Tarmel Udimo: where as love is in fact acceptance of one's true self
    Tarmel Udimo: Self
Tarmel Udimo: opening one's awareness to who we are is love
Bertram Jacobus: i could express for example that love in my understanding is ultimate harmony ...
Tarmel Udimo: yes that would be one way
Bertram Jacobus: yes. what you say is included in my understanding of that
Bertram Jacobus: yess - so many ways ! ... :-)
Bertram Jacobus: so many best ones ! :-)
    Tarmel Udimo: there are
Tarmel Udimo: eventually there are no 'meanings'
    Tarmel Udimo: only being
    Bertram Jacobus: end of suffering
Tarmel Udimo: yes well that may take awhile:)
Bertram Jacobus: or may occur in the next moment+
    Tarmel Udimo: agree
Bertram Jacobus: "we never know" ...
Bertram Jacobus: "okay" - so i´ll leave too (?) ...
Tarmel Udimo: ahhh, dinner is ready
Bertram Jacobus: hehe - fitting :-)
    Tarmel Udimo: yes
Bertram Jacobus: wish you a nice day - and may all beings be happy please ! :-)
Tarmel Udimo: yes same to you
    Tarmel Udimo: bfn
    Bertram Jacobus: ty :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: yess
