Zen Arado: the happy hour :)
Fael Illyar: ok, let's see if I can hear it :)
Fael Illyar: hmmh... works for a few seconds, then stops working.
Fael Illyar: oh well, no voice for me.
Eden Haiku: The session will revert to written chat at PM, in a few minutes Fale, no worries ;-)
Eden Haiku: at 1pM, Fael meep meep ;)
    Fael Illyar: got it :)
Fael Illyar: actually... I think I lost all sound for SL
Fael Illyar: oh, this whole computer lost ability to play sound. Other programs can't do it either.
Eden Haiku: How should we pronounce your name Fael? Fa-elle or Fell?
Fael Illyar: Fa'El would be close to how I'd pronounce it
Qt Core: are all the cable ok, Fael (i know, a silly q)
    Eden Haiku: itcanbesilent very silent
Eden Haiku: it can be very bevery silent...
    --BELL--
Fael Illyar: well, my other system plays sound just fine (the sound for this system goes through the other system)
    Eden Haiku: Bye Fael!!
    Fael Illyar: Bye Eden :)
Qt Core: now let see what happen stopping the hgeadset ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: i always had trouble reconnicting it to the pc when i not used bluesoleil
Qt Core: wow, almost instatly swith to the usual audio output... sometimes even Vista does something right ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but the quality isn´t that great, just like a bad cellphone so i stick to the regular one
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: you still run linux and got driver issues fael ?
Fael Illyar: ah no, this is windows XP system
Fael Illyar: I was hoping it'd work on this one :P
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi darren
    Fael Illyar: Hi Darren :)
    Darren Islar: hi everyone
Yakuzza Lethecus: a friend of mine bought a cheap x-fi chard a year back and then he figured out that it wasn´t even with the chip from the x-fi and the mic was´t working correct either
    Zon Quar: heya
    Qt Core: hi Darren
Fael Illyar: I've got a close to a decade old SB Live in this one :)
    Darren Islar: hi Zon
    Yakuzza Lethecus: welcome zon
    Qt Core: hi Zon
Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, that was a good card
Qt Core: yes, never had a problem with that one
Fael Illyar: I figure I'll either get something to replace it or just content myself with the built in ones in a few years.
Yakuzza Lethecus: do you still have onboard sound but didn´t activate it in the bios as an option `
    Darren Islar: hi Mork
    Darren Islar: Morp
Fael Illyar: of course, not been possibble to get something without it for good number of years now :)
    Qt Core: nano nano ;-)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey morp
Yakuzza Lethecus: have you been here before morp ?
    Darren Islar: oh sorry
    Fael Illyar: morp?

Darren Islar: it is obvious I need my camera well :-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: so how is everyone today ?
    Fael Illyar: I'm good :)

    Mickorod Renard: naturally
    Eliza Madrigal: Very cute
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Lucinda :)
    Lucinda Lavender: hi...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey luci
    Fael Illyar: Hello Luci :)
    Bertram Jacobus: hello lucinda ! ... :-)
Mickorod Renard: Pema was my inspirational figure when it comes to Haiku
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, Wise choice Mick
Lucinda Lavender: Lucinda is typing quietly so as not to waken her son who has just lost the widom teeth...hear to listen...
    Eliza Madrigal: awww
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
    Agatha Macbeth: Snap
    Agatha Macbeth: (Double awww)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: I see your double aww and raise you an awwwwwww
    Agatha Macbeth: : DDDDDDDDDDDD
    Fael Illyar smiles.
    Agatha Macbeth: Or an eawwwwwww
Yakuzza Lethecus thinks about fael as tooth fairy
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Agatha Macbeth looks under the pillow
Fael Illyar waves her rose-wand in the air a bit.
Lucinda Lavender: why is there wisdom in those teeth...Lucinda wonders...
arabella Ella: Fael looks like a purrfect tooth fairy
    Agatha Macbeth: Pain?
    Qt Core: just age
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Wisdom usually comes from pain in my experience...
Eliza Madrigal: pain and age, the wonder twins :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Age too
Eliza Madrigal: hehe... Mick, Went to your scribe to re-read Pema's haikus... so funny
Qt Core: reminishing about my wisetooth extraction.... one of the les painful dentist experiences i had
    Mickorod Renard: cool ehh?
Eliza Madrigal: http://playasbeing.wik.is/PaB_Scribe.../2010/04/04-06 (look toward the bottom)
Mickorod Renard: I think we shoul;d encourage spontanious Haiku
arabella Ella: Hey I love the photo of Rita LM which Qt referred too ... cool ... and she is so intelligent too
Mickorod Renard: and has a fun face
Eliza Madrigal: Its a fantastic picture
    arabella Ella nods
Mickorod Renard: dont read it too closely, i didnt get around to editing it
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Is that why you made the text so small?
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
Mickorod Renard: I had idea's about snipping it a bit,,u know ,,on the cutting floor,,but I now am due to write next scribe
Mickorod Renard: I wasnt able to change the size of font for some reason
Eliza Madrigal: I love the way you use pictures in your scribes, Mick, but that's the last I'll say... don't mean to spotlight you :))
Mickorod Renard: I guess cos i coppied it into word
    Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh
    Eliza Madrigal nods
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, Word! <groan>
    Mickorod Renard: mmm
Mickorod Renard: I wasnt thinking,,was just doing
    Agatha Macbeth knows it well
    Mickorod Renard: being decicive
Mickorod Renard: or something like that
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: decisive/incisive
Mickorod Renard: did u like the opening bit
    Mickorod Renard: Eliza
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Eliza Madrigal: falling without failing... is like a book title...
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Eliza Madrigal: and true. I used to stay on the other side of the field while my son played soccer... if he fell and saw me flinch, he'd want to go home
Eliza Madrigal: if he didn't see me, he'd become caught up in the game and his friends :)
    --BELL--
Mickorod Renard: yes, i stopped goin to watch my lad playing rugby,,cos i wud put him off
    Mickorod Renard: oops
    Eliza Madrigal: tough game, that
Calvino Rabeni: Still curious about Agatha's fashion issue, as U are still appearing as a white egg.
Eliza Madrigal: Does he still have his teeth Mick
    Eliza Madrigal: ?
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Mickorod Renard: yes thankfully,,cos i paid about £5 k to get them sorted
Mickorod Renard: then when he quit rugger he took up boxing
Eliza Madrigal: Yikes to that too (though I have three in braces so well relate - sigh) :)
Eliza Madrigal: Boxing? Oh, he wants to keep you on edge
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Mickorod Renard: now he does all the dangerous stuff on the play station,,one blessing of those cursed boxes
Agatha Macbeth: Float like abutterfly, sting like a bee
Calvino Rabeni: That film with Will Smith (Ali) was pretty good, Agatha
    Agatha Macbeth nods
    Agatha Macbeth: 'The Greatest' indeed
Eliza Madrigal: we enjoyed those teeth/ until rugby and boxing /took them all away/
    Lucinda Lavender: :(
    Yakuzza Lethecus: wb luci
    Lucinda Lavender: danke
    Mickorod Renard: wow,,nice haiku Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Mickorod Renard: at this rate there will have to be another site on pab wiki for the haiku collection
    arabella Ella: :)
Eliza Madrigal: That sounds nice... Eden's and Storm's pages are fantastic... neat to take snapshot of the pauses that way
    Eliza Madrigal: onigokko
    Eliza Madrigal: stop
    Eliza Madrigal: OOps :
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
arabella Ella: Hey this suddenly feels like Friday night here at PaB :)
Agatha Macbeth: What happened to the music?
    --BELL--
Fael Illyar: Well, time for me to reboot to restore my sounds. Have fun everyone :)
Arisia Vita: I must run too
Agatha Macbeth: Reboot away Fael :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Fael and Ari :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye ari
Yakuzza Lethecus: take care you both
    Arisia Vita: bye all
    Mickorod Renard: bye Ari

Bertram Jacobus: okay - i´ll leave, too - may all beings be happy please - namasté , love n light
    Agatha Macbeth waves to Bert
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care bert
Bertram Jacobus: ah ! and may Eywa be with you ! ... ;-)
    Mickorod Renard: bye Bertie
    arabella Ella: night Bert
    Bertram Jacobus: ty all :-)
    Qt Core: bye Bert
Agatha Macbeth: Who the heck is Fywa?
    Eliza Madrigal: Night Bert :)
Eliza Madrigal: Eywa is our mother Agatha :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
    Agatha Macbeth: ??
    Eliza Madrigal grins
    Bertram Jacobus: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: You may notice that Bert is blue...
Eliza Madrigal: This is a clue
Agatha Macbeth: I thought he was cold...
Eliza Madrigal: hm... well he may be, but also navi
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Eliza Madrigal doesn't mean to be rhyming
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, I looked up that film Il Mare btw
    Agatha Macbeth: Looks very interesting
Eliza Madrigal: Did you? I've seen it... quite a nice film
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, kinda thing I like
Eliza Madrigal: crossing over time boundaries, playing with limits?
Agatha Macbeth: There's an english-language version too with Keanu Reeves
Eliza Madrigal nods... actually quite nice too
Agatha Macbeth: Think i might understand that version a bit better!
Eliza Madrigal: that I remember. Sometimes I see a film and love it, but years later it seems thin
Mickorod Renard: does anyone have much insite into random matrix theory?
Agatha Macbeth: At least i know what Siworae means now :)
Eliza Madrigal: They are nice to compare, as are a film called "The restaurant" and the one it is modeled after
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Calvino Rabeni: Calvino Rabeni hears the siren call of unmediated RL, must go chase after it :)
Calvino Rabeni: Bye all take care be well
    Qt Core: Bye Calvino
    Mickorod Renard: bye Cal
Eliza Madrigal: hah, Bye Cal... you were our best chance of someone knowing the answer to Mick's question
Agatha Macbeth: Run quickly Cal ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: sigh
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Oh... or maybe we wake Qt :)
    Qt Core: ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    arabella Ella: bye Calvino
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe we should ask random Neo?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Qt Core: Neo ?
Agatha Macbeth: (Follow the random White Rabbit)
Eliza Madrigal: I've actually not heard of random matrix theory.. is that like matrix theory without any causality?
    Agatha Macbeth: Or Morpheus...
Mickorod Renard: I guess it is
    Mickorod Renard: in a way
Calvino Rabeni: Calvino Rabeni has some fondness for matrices - they are so orderly and cooperative
    Calvino Rabeni: Bye for now
Yakuzza Lethecus: good night everyone! sleep well who´s in an appropriate timezone for that :)
Mickorod Renard: I dont know much myself about it
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Bye Cal
    Qt Core: Bye Cal, Yaku
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, Bye Ya!
    Agatha Macbeth: Yaku crasheth
    Eliza Madrigal: that was fast
    Mickorod Renard: bye Yaku
    arabella Ella: brb
Lucinda Lavender: a crashy kind of time it seems
Eliza Madrigal: I know little about it too Mick, aside from the lighter stuff I suppose... ideas of infinite possibility webs....
Eliza Madrigal: so causality, but a deeper layer kind of undoing that?
    Eliza Madrigal: donno...
Mickorod Renard: I was wondering whether there may be more of a link from it to fractal theory
    Eliza Madrigal: How so?
    Agatha Macbeth: Could be
Mickorod Renard: was musing over an idea that the dimension that we exist in is present because we exist by means of a random matrix filter
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, symmetry!
Agatha Macbeth: (Wol would be proud)
Qt Core: we seem to share this obsession ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Eliza Madrigal smiles having not looked at the circle but trying to connect symmetry and fractals
Agatha Macbeth: Probably is aconnection somewhere
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: yes I'm sure! there does seem something in us that is 'comforted' by symmetry... that calls out for it?
    Agatha Macbeth: Comfort in order?
Eliza Madrigal nods ... sense of balance
    Agatha Macbeth: Hmm
    Mickorod Renard: order from chaos
Qt Core: confort in laziness, in having to know less to know all
Eliza Madrigal: even in our relationships and such... but what we choose to measure with can be quite random1
Eliza Madrigal: (take out the 1)
    Agatha Macbeth: -1 Liz :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: indeed Mick.. or rather than order maybe elegance...
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, no.. order is good
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Eliza Madrigal: as long as we don't think we understand it fully
    Eliza Madrigal: Hm, doorbell
    Mickorod Renard: lol
Agatha Macbeth: I'm sure i read somewhere tho, that in nature asymmetry favours survival
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm (back)
    Agatha Macbeth: WB Liz
Eliza Madrigal: I set things into motion and forget them.. like pizza
Eliza Madrigal: then it is a surprise! heheh
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    arabella Ella: back
Qt Core: a surprise in the owen or at the door ?
    Agatha Macbeth: Owen?
Eliza Madrigal: Neat discussion, look forward to reading the log when posted... now time to go and watch GIlmore Girls with my daughters :)
Agatha Macbeth: BFN Liz, happy viewing!
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you all.... Oh, and the pizza arrived at the door, carrying a person
    Eliza Madrigal: ;-)
    Agatha Macbeth: :))))
    Eliza Madrigal: Bfn
    Qt Core: ove
    Qt Core: n
    Mickorod Renard: bye eliza
    arabella Ella: bye Eliza
    Qt Core: ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :::waves and smootches::::
    Lucinda Lavender: bye Eliza
    Agatha Macbeth smootches back
Qt Core: ingredients so fresh they are stillalive... nice
arabella Ella: Qt you should be watching Canale 5 ... he he
Agatha Macbeth: And that IS fresh!
    Mickorod Renard: canale5 is fresh
Agatha Macbeth: 'I don't like to see my dinner looking at me'
Qt Core: what would i see there ? (qt ask quite scares)
    arabella Ella: :)
    Qt Core: scared
arabella Ella: the Darwin program brief fashion show :)
    arabella Ella: so funny
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, trust Darwin to get in somewhere
Qt Core: Darwin is rolling in his grave... whatever they are doing tonight in that show ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: That's evolution for ya
    arabella Ella giggles
Qt Core: i want to quickly devolve then ;-)
arabella Ella: and Qt as you know the camera person always focuses on the important areas
    Agatha Macbeth: Of course
Qt Core: the one that don't have clothes on... so why bother about fashion ?
Qt Core: better have dermathologist as wips, not stylists ;-)
arabella Ella: hey that is too crude Qt ... there is good taste too
Agatha Macbeth gasps 'Not bother about fashion?'
Agatha Macbeth raises her hands in horror
arabella Ella: italians MUST bother about fashion ... it comes naturally to them
    --BELL--
Mickorod Renard: a hot babe looks good in old rags
    Agatha Macbeth: For sure
    Wol Euler: evening all
Qt Core: yes, and said by an italian living near milan that have been a couple time in Montenapoleone street too
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Wol
    Agatha Macbeth: Hiya Woliphant :)
Wol Euler: am I in time for the
    Wol Euler: onigokko
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Qt Core: hi wol
Agatha Macbeth: Why can't I hear music?
    Wol Euler giggles
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Wol
Wol Euler: hello lucinda, aral, aggers, mick, qt
    Wol Euler: stop
    Agatha Macbeth: AO off ;-)
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: please continue, don't let me interrupt any more tan I already have done
Mickorod Renard: ara has crashed again
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww, Ara...
    Wol Euler: :(
Mickorod Renard: how is Wol tonite?
    Mickorod Renard: busy day?
Wol Euler: better than last night. Only in work until 11pm tonight! yay me
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    Mickorod Renard: ouch
Wol Euler: well, it was after 1am yesterday
    Agatha Macbeth: Jeez
Agatha Macbeth: A hard day's night
Mickorod Renard: are u nearing the end of the project?
Wol Euler: yes, that's the problem :)
Mickorod Renard: as in,,will it get easier from soon?
Wol Euler: we have to hand in the competition at 19:15 on MOnday
    Mickorod Renard: I see
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Wol Euler: it will stop dead at 19:16
Lucinda Lavender: are you building something?
Mickorod Renard: at least there is light at the end of the tunnel
Agatha Macbeth: That's a train coming the other way Mick ;-)
Wol Euler: I'm an architect, we are taking part in a competition, designing a swimming pool and healt hcentre complex
Wol Euler: trying to get a job for the next two years
    Lucinda Lavender: ah!:)
Lucinda Lavender: We were talking a bit about randomness...
    Wol Euler: wb ara
    Mickorod Renard: yeaaaa,,Ara is back
Lucinda Lavender: tho, I have been quiet...crashing as well...
Agatha Macbeth: Actually, I forgot what we were talking about
    Agatha Macbeth: WB Ara
    arabella Ella: Hiya
    arabella Ella: horrible crashes today
    Mickorod Renard: random matrix theory
Agatha Macbeth: Seems to be local crash night...
Qt Core: you were trying to linch me as i don't like fashion, agatha ;-)
    Lucinda Lavender: hi :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah yes, right
arabella Ella: horrible month for crashes it seems
    Qt Core: wb Ara
    Agatha Macbeth: Something about Milan?
arabella Ella: probably low bandwidth i guess
arabella Ella: you must admit though Qt that you are one of the few exceptions?
    Qt Core: yes, i do
Wol Euler: lucinda, come and join us over here :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: We already did the symmetry thing :)
    Wol Euler: ty
    Lucinda Lavender: ok...
Lucinda Lavender: I was feeling a little strange...opposition...
arabella Ella: i must go now ... nite all!
Wol Euler: 'ngith ara, enjoy the weekend
    Lucinda Lavender: nite!

    Mickorod Renard: nite Ara
    arabella Ella: thanks you too!
Wol Euler: yeah, lucinda, spatial dynamics work in SL too :)
Agatha Macbeth: Bye Ara, take care
Lucinda Lavender: when sitting across one can feel separate.
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: and having people move away from your side is upsetting in SL too
    Lucinda Lavender: hmm
Agatha Macbeth: Whereabouts are you in RL Lucinda?
    Lucinda Lavender: Seattle...
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, right
Mickorod Renard: I am affraid I must go too

    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, lucky you :)
    Lucinda Lavender: where are you?
Agatha Macbeth: I find this time thing really confuzin'

Agatha Macbeth: But i would like to get my lawns cut sometime soon
    Wol Euler notes the plural.
    Lucinda Lavender: :0
Agatha Macbeth: More than one, sadly
    Agatha Macbeth: (Pain)
    Agatha Macbeth hates gardening
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
Qt Core: nothing that some concrete or asphalt can't solve >:-)
Wol Euler: you could subcontract it out?
Agatha Macbeth: Cheaper to doit meself ;-)
Wol Euler: oh, not for money
    Agatha Macbeth: ??
Wol Euler: there are plenty of would-be gardeners stuck in apartment buildings who would be happy to do your lawn etc
Lucinda Lavender: :) I have been to your country...
Wol Euler: my therapist in London had an arrangement like that, she did all the work for free, but the landowner paid for the tools and plants and gave her a free hand
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh, wow
    Lucinda Lavender: nice...
    Wol Euler: a win-win arrangement
Agatha Macbeth: Nice work if you can get someone else to do it...
    Wol Euler: yap :)
Agatha Macbeth: I'm not a dog!
Wol Euler: that was fast, qt
    Wol Euler: I am :)
Wol Euler points to her profile
    Agatha Macbeth: I know :)
Agatha Macbeth: NBut not a yappy one
    Qt Core: ops, wrong button
    Agatha Macbeth: Com-pa-shun
Wol Euler: yes, that was lovely.
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes
Agatha Macbeth: I always meant to ask, why are all those pillows over there?
Wol Euler: Adelene put them there, back in the days when she and 3d were (a) lions and (b) regular visitors
Wol Euler: lions can't use these cushions, at least not realistically
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, too big?
    Lucinda Lavender: he he
Wol Euler: somethijng like that, yes
Agatha Macbeth: They don't come to PaB any more then?
Wol Euler: not at any time that I can mesh with.
Agatha Macbeth: Shame, 'twould be nice to see a lion here
Wol Euler: yeah, they were really interesting to listen too. both interested in brainfunctions and the "mechanics" of thinking
Agatha Macbeth: I've seen them in the logs, yes
Agatha Macbeth: They are good friends too, I seem to recall?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Agatha Macbeth: That's nice :)
Wol Euler: well, they work together too. Ade does scripting and building for 3d's inworld company
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, even better
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: I remember the only time I ever saw Gilles here, he looked pretty silly on a cushion too <grins>
Qt Core: time to go to sleep...before 2am, once in a while
Agatha Macbeth: Ciao QT, take care
Wol Euler: 'night, qt sleep well
    Lucinda Lavender: sleep well QT!
    Qt Core: ciao!
Agatha Macbeth: So what do you think of PaB so far Lucinda?
    Lucinda Lavender: hmmm
Lucinda Lavender: I am very impressed with it
Agatha Macbeth: Beats watching TV eh?
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Wol Euler: well, what doesn't?
    Agatha Macbeth: True
    Agatha Macbeth: Mud-wrestling a yak?
Lucinda Lavender: I am pretty busy in RL
Lucinda Lavender: but no mud wrestling...
Agatha Macbeth: Well, that's RL for you
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Wol Euler: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Aw, you don't know what you might be missing!
Lucinda Lavender: full of many possibilities?
    Lucinda Lavender: muddy onew?
    Agatha Macbeth: And then some
Lucinda Lavender: I am learning stuf...
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Lucinda Lavender: I am taking a day off today from RL
    Wol Euler grions
Agatha Macbeth: Always a good idea!
    Wol Euler: *grins. bah.
    Lucinda Lavender: parts of it...
    Agatha Macbeth: Stop groining Wol
Wol Euler: grioning, please. Don't confuse me with yourself :)
    Agatha Macbeth: ?
Agatha Macbeth can't remember the last time she had a good grion
Lucinda Lavender: is it like a groan?
    Agatha Macbeth: Could be :)
Lucinda Lavender: or a grinning lion?
Agatha Macbeth: Ooh, have to be careful of those
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: wonders whether a lion's grin is like a crocodile's tears
Agatha Macbeth: Probably amounts to much the same thing
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Agatha Macbeth: 'Never smile at a crocodile'
Wol Euler: I wonder why SL insists on saving screenshots to disk as Targa files, instead of a native Windows image format? My hard disk is full of images that can't be displayed.
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I wondered that too
Wol Euler: typical of windows, I have to say.
Agatha Macbeth: Aren't they rather old fashioned in this day and age?
Wol Euler: how can it be *possible* to save a file in a format that I then cannot open?
Wol Euler: the expression "user-hostile" was made for windows
Agatha Macbeth: I hate GIFs too, you can never seem seem to load them into a paint program
Wol Euler: sorry, I let me geekery get out of hand.
    Agatha Macbeth: Perfectly understandable dear
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
Agatha Macbeth: Perhaps these people just never heard of JPEGs
Lucinda Lavender: I tried to put my photo in the profile and it did not work so I quit...
Agatha Macbeth: Is your picture a snapshot?
Wol Euler: well, that is odd. If you can get it into your inventory, it should be useable as a profile pic
    Lucinda Lavender: I don't think so...you mean from 2L?
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    Agatha Macbeth: Or a texture?
Lucinda Lavender: I was able to drag one over but I it was from 2l not rl
Lucinda Lavender: not sure it was a v
Lucinda Lavender: favorite so I let it go
Lucinda Lavender: yes it was in texture
Lucinda Lavender: I slowly learn these thing...
Agatha Macbeth: If it's in your inv. then there should be no probs
    Wol Euler nods
    Lucinda Lavender: ok thanks
Wol Euler: you should be able to drag that into the rectangle on your profile page
Agatha Macbeth: That picture Darren gave me still won't show up in my pic board either
Wol Euler: oh, glad you reminded me.
    Agatha Macbeth: Strange
Wol Euler: it's a problem in my script, not the picture
    Agatha Macbeth: Ooops
    pablito Steampunk: hi
    Wol Euler: yeah
    Wol Euler: helo pablito
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Pab
pablito Steampunk: good to see you all
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, so the mystery is solved
    Agatha Macbeth: U2
Lucinda Lavender: must go for now...enjoy your weekends...all
    pablito Steampunk: bye Lucinda
Agatha Macbeth: You too Lucinda, bye for now
Wol Euler: bye lucinda, enjoy the weekend
    Lucinda Lavender: bye!
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks ...yes
    Agatha Macbeth: The barefoot contessa....
pablito Steampunk: was there a big turnout today?
Agatha Macbeth: So are you updating the script then Wol?
Agatha Macbeth: Quite big Pab, yes
pablito Steampunk: so this place is still alive and kicking ã‹¡
Agatha Macbeth: It always is when we're here!
    pablito Steampunk: of course
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: I will update it as soon as I get a chance, Ags
Agatha Macbeth: No rush, thx :)
Agatha Macbeth: All the other Pics are fine anyways
pablito Steampunk: what do you two do on sl other than play as being?
Agatha Macbeth: Clothes shopping mostly :)
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    pablito Steampunk: ã‹¡
Agatha Macbeth: And dance a bit too
pablito Steampunk: do you build things?
Wol Euler: yeah, that's about right
Wol Euler: some small stuff, yes
    Wol Euler: and scripting
Agatha Macbeth: Only my house thus far
Agatha Macbeth: And I didn't even build that
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: it was kinda pre-fab
pablito Steampunk: whats the difference between building and scripting?
Agatha Macbeth: You have to be clever to do the latter ;-)
Wol Euler: building makes an object that just sits there
Wol Euler: scripting makes the object perform actions
Wol Euler: (to put it simply)
pablito Steampunk: ah yes i see what you mean
Agatha Macbeth: Buliding is the wu wei version ;-)
pablito Steampunk: like the object is there to play with
pablito Steampunk: what have you scripted in the past?
Wol Euler: well, I made the autologging system that records our conversations
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep!
pablito Steampunk: nice, from scratch (scripting)?
Agatha Macbeth: Her claim to fame :)
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
pablito Steampunk: you wrote some code or something?
    Wol Euler: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Wasn't it a small pyramid in the arly days?
Wol Euler: quite a bit of code actually, if I do say so myself
    Agatha Macbeth: early
    pablito Steampunk: for the autologging
Wol Euler: yes, the flower was added by fael
Agatha Macbeth: Mm, remember reading that
pablito Steampunk: do you have audio voice here sometimes?
Agatha Macbeth: Yaku does I think
    Agatha Macbeth: The Happy Hour
Wol Euler snorts angrily. Can you tell me why Windows doesn't recognize the scroll wheel on the mouse made by Microsoft? Such a pile of sh*t
    Wol Euler: pardon my french
    Agatha Macbeth: Eh?
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Wol Euler: got a scrollwheel on your mouse?
Agatha Macbeth: Now that is weird
    Wol Euler: yep
    pablito Steampunk: yes i do
Wol Euler: though I can think of other words than "wierd".
Wol Euler: "broken" comes to mind, also "fail"
    Agatha Macbeth: Which Windows?
    Wol Euler: 7
    Wol Euler: prto
    Wol Euler: pro
pablito Steampunk: did yous spill coffee on your mouse?
    Wol Euler just glares.
Agatha Macbeth: Well, I never tried that yet, so wouldn't know
Agatha Macbeth: Mine works fine in Vista tho
Wol Euler: ok, so go to the start menu and call up system settings (or whatever it's caled in English)
    Agatha Macbeth: And XP too
    Wol Euler: and choose Software
Wol Euler: now try to scroll in the list of programs using hte scrollwheel
Wol Euler: "gimme an F" "gimme an A" "gimme an I" "gimme a L"
    Wol Euler: what's that spell?
    Wol Euler: Microsoft!
Agatha Macbeth: Can't find System settings in Vista :(
Wol Euler: doesn't matter, this is just me ranting.
Agatha Macbeth: But my scroll works fine on everything else
Wol Euler: I have an unconquerable attachment to the idea that computers should help us overcome obstacles, not create artificial ones to put in our path
Agatha Macbeth: Tell that to Bill gates
Wol Euler: well, there's this restraining order thingy.
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
    pablito Steampunk: lol
    Agatha Macbeth: Kill Bill?
Agatha Macbeth: Why are you not using your Mac then?
Wol Euler: well, yes, I was waiting for that.
Wol Euler: It's a fair question and I earned it.
    Agatha Macbeth: (....)
Wol Euler: I'm using W7 because the graphics are *vastly* superior to any Mac that costs less than a good used car
    Wol Euler sighs
    Agatha Macbeth: Which graphics card?
    Wol Euler: nvidia gs250+
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah right
Wol Euler: cost a third as much as the computer itself :)
Wol Euler: has its own heatsink :)
    Agatha Macbeth: I can imagine
Wol Euler: and two power supply connections
    Agatha Macbeth: Two?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Agatha Macbeth: Hell's tits
    Wol Euler: yeah
Agatha Macbeth: No wonder it needs a heat sink
Wol Euler: but it gets up to 60 fps even with shading and shadows and reflections and antialiasing
    Wol Euler: I sold out.
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: How old is your Mac then?
Wol Euler: lesss than a year
Wol Euler: but it's a mini. graphics processor on the mainboard
    Agatha Macbeth: I see
Wol Euler: it's a good processor, fast enough, pretty enough, but it doesn't begin to compare to this
Agatha Macbeth: It's all about power
Wol Euler: the mini has other sterling qualities. For one, it's *absolutely* *silent*
Agatha Macbeth: Could you use Linux instead of W7?
Wol Euler grins. There's a thought.
Wol Euler: good work, Number Two.
Agatha Macbeth: But then Linux has its own little quirks
    Agatha Macbeth: Apart from penguins
    pablito Steampunk: ツ✰°·..·°✰ HEHEhehehEHEhe ✰°·..·°✰ツ
    Agatha Macbeth: Meep Meep ;P :p:P :p :P
pablito Steampunk: i hope my laughter didn't disturb your line of thought
    pablito Steampunk: ã‹¡
    Wol Euler: :)
    Agatha Macbeth grins
pablito Steampunk: can i ask a question?
    Agatha Macbeth: Why not?
    pablito Steampunk: lol
    Wol Euler: fire away
pablito Steampunk: what topic seems to be exciting you the most these days, or are there numerous ones that are all equally as impressive?
Agatha Macbeth: Off the top o' my head, can't think of any
Wol Euler: it's all good :)
Wol Euler: I am omnivorously interested.
pablito Steampunk: so everything and anything
    Wol Euler: pretty much, yes:)
Agatha Macbeth: Whatever tickles me fancy :)
pablito Steampunk: so if you were to start studying something, what would you choose first?
    Agatha Macbeth: Japanese
Wol Euler: well, assuming that I had any ... heheheheheheh
Wol Euler: I was going to say "languages" and Japanese would hav been first.
    Agatha Macbeth grinz
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
    pablito Steampunk: ã‹¡
Wol Euler: pity yaku wasn't here to see that.
    Agatha Macbeth nods
    Agatha Macbeth: Sin-chronicity
    pablito Steampunk: lovely term
Wol Euler gives a lascivious wink
    Agatha Macbeth: truly
Wol Euler: ok, so I am now downloading Ubuntu :)
    pablito Steampunk: is that linux?
Wol Euler: that'll be a project for next weekend
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, the Ubuntu boys
Wol Euler: one flavour of linux
    Agatha Macbeth: There are many
Wol Euler: the first that I happened to find.
Wol Euler: Trin talks about it, so it can't be that baad
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: You can even use it on the PS3 believe it or not
pablito Steampunk: yes, i used that whilst in Hungary, found it hard to navigate, due ti being new to it
Agatha Macbeth: Takes time, after windows
Wol Euler: I cut my teeth on unix mainframe computing, many decades ago, so it won't be entirely new or strange
Agatha Macbeth: And needs lotsa configuration
Agatha Macbeth just noticed the recorder's still going
Wol Euler waves to the GoC. Feel free to delete the last hour of this, my dear.
Agatha Macbeth: Another long log for Yaku ;-)
Agatha Macbeth: He probably fell asleep before he got this far ;-)
pablito Steampunk: do you use the recording for reinforcement purposes?
Wol Euler: what does "reinforcement" mean?
    Agatha Macbeth: Call for reinforcements!
pablito Steampunk: to enhance your memories of the past sessions
    pablito Steampunk: perhaps lol
Agatha Macbeth: I guess that is the prime function yes
Wol Euler: I suppose so, yes, but also to tell what happened in the sessions I missed.
pablito Steampunk: never miss a treat ã‹¡
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Agatha Macbeth: I learned a lot about PaB and the people in it from just reading back the logs from day 1
    pablito Steampunk: nice
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, the whole Wiki is a very useful tool
pablito Steampunk: Wiki and recoreding? whats the relation?
Agatha Macbeth: Tells you a lot if you go into it deeply enough
Agatha Macbeth: What is recorded here appears on the PaB Wiki
Agatha Macbeth: In the chat logs
pablito Steampunk: how does one get access to PaB wiki?
Agatha Macbeth tries to find the url
    Agatha Macbeth: http://playasbeing.wik.is/
    pablito Steampunk: ('*•.¸•*• Ťĥ∆ⓝⓀ ΫΘ☋ •*•¸.•*´)
    Agatha Macbeth: YW
    Darren Islar: hi everyone
    Darren Islar: or not
    Wol Euler: hello darren
    pablito Steampunk: hi Darren
Wol Euler: twice in one day. Nice.
Agatha Macbeth: Hello there Daz, up late?
    Wol Euler: where'd he go?
Agatha Macbeth: Saw you and me and legged it
pablito Steampunk: i think we didn;t respond fast enough
    Wol Euler: ah well
    Agatha Macbeth smiles
pablito Steampunk: this autologging idea is great, well designed the PaB wiki page
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, it is on both counts
pablito Steampunk: i love playing with my memories
Agatha Macbeth: Depends on the memories
pablito Steampunk: even the dark ones
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm
pablito Steampunk: the more i do it the more detached i feel
pablito Steampunk: the emotions die down
pablito Steampunk: and i return to peace
    pablito Steampunk: ã‹¡
Agatha Macbeth: With me it has the exact opposite effect
    --BELL--
pablito Steampunk: its an act of confrontations with the unconscious, as Jung would say
Agatha Macbeth: Well that's Jung for you
Agatha Macbeth: 'Jung the foreman who prayed at work....etc'
Wol Euler: is that the start of a dirty limerick?
Agatha Macbeth: David Bowie 'Drive in saturday'
    Agatha Macbeth: I think
    Wol Euler: oh, wow
    Wol Euler: don't know that
    Wol Euler googles
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Agatha Macbeth: Where were you all yer life?
Wol Euler: under a rock, clearly.
    Agatha Macbeth: With a computer
Agatha Macbeth will be right back.
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    pablito Steampunk: kk
    pablito Steampunk: hello Paradise ã‹¡
Paradise Tennant: wol is this a session ?
Paradise Tennant: hiya pablito :) agatha wol :)
pablito Steampunk: i think everytime the recording text is on, it means the session is on, but that is only a guess
    Paradise Tennant: ahh kk
Agatha Macbeth returns to the fold
Wol Euler: hello paradise, sorry about that
Agatha Macbeth: Oh hiya Paradise :)
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry, afk a mo
pablito Steampunk: are you a regular Paradise?
    Paradise Tennant: 'smiles
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: but usually not on at this time
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: I was going to say you seem a bit early
Agatha Macbeth: Nice shade of green that
    Paradise Tennant: thank you :)
Paradise Tennant: I am sorry if I interrupted :) please continue
Agatha Macbeth: We might all still be here for the 1900 session at this rate :)
Paradise Tennant: hmm only a few more hours
Agatha Macbeth: It's ok, Wol's busy downloading Ubuntu ;-)
pablito Steampunk: i'll probably be alseep then
pablito Steampunk: late over here in the UK
    Paradise Tennant: yes ...
    Agatha Macbeth: I know!
    Paradise Tennant: what's ubuntu
Agatha Macbeth: A version of Linux
    Paradise Tennant: ok
    Agatha Macbeth: Operating System
Agatha Macbeth: To replace Windows 7 ;-)
    Paradise Tennant: nods
Wol Euler: up to 46% now, after only 28 minutes
    Wol Euler: (46% downloaded)
Agatha Macbeth: Should be done by 1700 then!
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Paradise Tennant: all good things come in time :)
Agatha Macbeth: Off the internet, certainly!
Agatha Macbeth: Of course, running SL concurrently doesn't help the speed
    Wol Euler: he4heeh
Wol Euler: nor having two other computers in the net as well :)
    Agatha Macbeth: there is that
Agatha Macbeth: What time is it with you Paradise?
    Paradise Tennant: 7.30 pm
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, evening, nice

Agatha Macbeth: Ah, just checking ;-)
Paradise Tennant: is late where you are too pablito
    pablito Steampunk: yes, 12:33am
    pablito Steampunk: buts it weekend

    pablito Steampunk: omg ã‹¡
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Wol Euler: 1:34 actually
pablito Steampunk: where are you Wol?
    Agatha Macbeth: (And still downloading)
    Wol Euler: and 63%
    Agatha Macbeth: Pedant...
    pablito Steampunk: Pedantic?
    Agatha Macbeth: Same difference
Wol Euler: sorry, I was onthe ohter computer again
Agatha Macbeth: The one that works! <grin>
Wol Euler: I'm listening to a marvellous groove and was trying to find a download link to put on twitter
Wol Euler: yep, the Mac Mini :)
pablito Steampunk: where are you located Wol?
    Wol Euler: germany
    Agatha Macbeth: Suddeutschland
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Wol Euler: aber nicht Sudetenland :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Echt
    Wol Euler: schön aufpassen, gel?
pablito Steampunk: i need my translator now
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah so
    Wol Euler: http://j.mp/9aLKjs
    Wol Euler: (not the song)
Agatha Macbeth: Looks like you're the only non-emerald user here Paradise :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles I know
Agatha Macbeth: 'Page not found' :(
    pablito Steampunk: yes?
Paradise Tennant: have not upgraded ..still on the old viewer too
    pablito Steampunk: nice cartoon tho
Agatha Macbeth: It still works then?
    Paradise Tennant: yes fine
Agatha Macbeth: I don't know too many people who are impressed with Viewer2
    Wol Euler: ah
pablito Steampunk: i was, although i missed my radar
Paradise Tennant: lol I believe wol is ready to kick its dog ?
    Wol Euler: http://j.mp/9aLkjs
Wol Euler: no, paradise, I don't kick dogs
Agatha Macbeth: Hey, leave that dog alone!
    Paradise Tennant: page not found
Wol Euler: but I intensely dislike it, yes
Agatha Macbeth: She would have to kick herself ;-)
Wol Euler: third time lucky. http://j.mp/9aLkJs
Agatha Macbeth: Has anyone ever heard of Snowglobe?
pablito Steampunk: yes i've heard of it
Wol Euler: yeah, Beta uses it, says it's good
Paradise Tennant: not the kind you shake :)
Wol Euler: it has the same codebase as Emerald, I think
    Agatha Macbeth: Post WWII Recessions?
Paradise Tennant: job loss chart .. interesting but distinctly unmusical
    Wol Euler: hehehe
Wol Euler: yes, not hte song
Wol Euler: it's out of print, as it were
Agatha Macbeth: Would have preferred it in F sharp minor
    pablito Steampunk: brb
    Wol Euler: http://bit.ly/14yyOH
Wol Euler: is also not the song, but *about* it
    --BELL--
Agatha Macbeth doesn't have an old lady
    Wol Euler: get one.
Agatha Macbeth: Why not a young one? :)))
Wol Euler: well, whatever floats your boat
    Agatha Macbeth: Water?
    Paradise Tennant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JYkoJ6L10c
Agatha Macbeth: Think I preferred the job loss graph
    Wol Euler: ooooh
Wol Euler: the song of the moment is "stroker ace", looking for that
Paradise Tennant: they have a lot of tunes of lovage
Paradise Tennant: you tube has everything
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Wol Euler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKiXY...eature=related
Wol Euler is a total Mike Patton fan
Agatha Macbeth: What in God's name is lovage?
Wol Euler: click on that link and turn it up
Paradise Tennant: very original .. ok if you have barry white as a back up :) lol
    Wol Euler giggles
Wol Euler: Barry White, yes ............. that voice.
Wol Euler: thank you, Paradise, that made my evening.
    Wol Euler: (the youtube video)
    Paradise Tennant: yvw
Agatha Macbeth: It'll never take the place of music...
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Paradise Tennant: well music has a really really really really broad range from the beat of a pigeons wings .. to lovage and beyond
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Paradise Tennant: it is like an intrinsic .. pattern .. in everything
    Agatha Macbeth likes pigeons wings
Paradise Tennant: loves the sound they make
Agatha Macbeth: eden writes haiku about them
    Wol Euler grins
Paradise Tennant: yes were you at her reading
    Paradise Tennant: she is fantastic
Agatha Macbeth: I read them on the wiki yes
Agatha Macbeth: Well, it went dark here, now it's light again!
Wol Euler: we talked all night long :)
Agatha Macbeth thinks of a Roy Orbison song
Paradise Tennant: we have lightening .. the dog is drooling on my toes .. hates the both the thunder and the lightening
    Wol Euler: poor dog.
    Paradise Tennant: nods
    Agatha Macbeth: Drooling doggy
Paradise Tennant: wishes she could have an hour where she had the gift of perfect dog speak .would be so nice to explain things
    Agatha Macbeth: How's Ubuntu doing?
    Wol Euler: oh, finished.
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa
Wol Euler: now I just need to burn a cd fromthe image
    Wol Euler: and reboot
    Wol Euler: thus losing SL
    Wol Euler: so I won't :)

Agatha Macbeth: So you might get a functioning scrollwheel now

Wol Euler: I have a dance hall in the village, north of here.
pablito Steampunk: there was a lady who had her on pach here, bcos she says she was a guardian
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, I see what you mean
    pablito Steampunk: patch*
    Agatha Macbeth: No, I don't
pablito Steampunk: not a guardian then?
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry, you made it sound like we had one together :)
Wol Euler: well it's optional. some chose not to take it up
    pablito Steampunk: oh lol
pablito Steampunk: i'm not into renting or owning land yet...
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Agatha Macbeth: It's fun once you get into it
    pablito Steampunk: i can imagine
pablito Steampunk: building your own zone or atmosphere
Agatha Macbeth: Somewhere you can change your clothes without getting perved
    pablito Steampunk: haha
    Wol Euler: heh
    Wol Euler: true that
pablito Steampunk: well i have me radar
    Agatha Macbeth: Don't we all

LovesChocolate Macpherson: it was too late for those of you in the UK
Agatha Macbeth: Sorry I missed it but I was asleep!
pablito Steampunk: its never too late for me haha
LovesChocolate Macpherson: np, we'll try again hopefully earlier
LovesChocolate Macpherson: so what's going on here today ?
pablito Steampunk: random chats so far
Agatha Macbeth: Well, I've been here four hours now, so I've mostly forgotten!
    pablito Steampunk: check the autologging
    pablito Steampunk: ã‹¡
    Wol Euler: :)
    Agatha Macbeth can't be arsed
    Wol Euler laughs.
    pablito Steampunk: enrich those memories
Wol Euler: pour cream on them
Agatha Macbeth: Like the colours of my mind
pablito Steampunk: yes, they will gleam brighter
    pablito Steampunk: lol
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: 4 hours...cool :)
Agatha Macbeth: I have to keep standing up or my butt goes to sleep
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: lol
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Wol Euler: that's good for your legs anyway
    Agatha Macbeth: Hm
    pablito Steampunk: yes, gotta stretch
LovesChocolate Macpherson: my legs were sore from work so I sttod on my head in a yoga pose and let all the blood rush backwards
    pablito Steampunk: omg
Agatha Macbeth: Can you get DVT from sitting at a computer?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    pablito Steampunk: what dvt?
Wol Euler: you get it from sitting, not from what you do while sitting
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah, I see
    Wol Euler: activity prevents that
Wol Euler: just stand and walk about every half hour
Wol Euler: and avoid crossing your legs
Agatha Macbeth: More like every 15 mins for me
LovesChocolate Macpherson: is it like varicose veins>?
Wol Euler: "deep vein thrombosis", pablito, also known as a blood clot in a vein
Wol Euler: also known as "extremely bad news"
    pablito Steampunk: hmmm interesting
Agatha Macbeth: Affects people who fly a lot
pablito Steampunk: so Pilots get it alot
    Agatha Macbeth: Except Superman...
    pablito Steampunk: ツ✰°·..·°✰ HEHEhehehEHEhe ✰°·..·°✰ツ
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: lol
Wol Euler: I had a surface vein thrombosis two years ago, from a twenty minute flight
Agatha Macbeth: Pilots are only allowed to fly so many hours at a stretch I think
Agatha Macbeth: Yes Wol, i read that
    Agatha Macbeth: Nasty
Wol Euler: there are preconditions, like being thin and having very low blood pressure (points to herself)
    --BELL--
pablito Steampunk: do you know anyone personall who got DVT?
Wol Euler: turned out OK though, touch wood, and I do watch out now.
Wol Euler: no, but one of my uncles died of one before I was born
    Agatha Macbeth: OMG
    pablito Steampunk: died omg
    pablito Steampunk: thats serious
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Agatha Macbeth: Doesn't get any seriouser
pablito Steampunk: does that depend on where it happened on the body?
    Wol Euler: no
pablito Steampunk: so even on the feet?
Wol Euler: the problem is not in the forming as such, but htat they don't stay put. The blood flow pushes them along
Wol Euler: and they lodge in your lungs or heart or brain
Wol Euler: with results ranging from extremely nasty to death
LovesChocolate Macpherson: i have varicose veins and i'm scared of the clots
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
LovesChocolate Macpherson: i'm thin with low blood pressure too
Wol Euler: talk to your doctor about that, then.
    Wol Euler: and keep moving.
pablito Steampunk: can you take medicine for this?
Agatha Macbeth can't honsestly call herself thin :P
Wol Euler: it's very easy to avoid, if you are aware of your body and prevent the flow getting stopped
LovesChocolate Macpherson: i exercise a lot
pablito Steampunk: your making me nerovous sitting still now
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: lol
Wol Euler: I wasn't paying attention, I knew that I was sitting badly, I could feel a metal bit pressing into my thigh. But I didn't do anything about it
LovesChocolate Macpherson: if i pass out, call my doctor
Agatha Macbeth: Jump up and down Pab!
Wol Euler: you needn't be. Just keep moving.
    pablito Steampunk: lol
Wol Euler: tap your feel vigoroursly a few times, that's enough.
pablito Steampunk: in a panicking frenzy? lol
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: ok thanks
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: lol
LovesChocolate Macpherson: there ya go Agatha :)
LovesChocolate Macpherson: dream dance cures all
pablito Steampunk: can't say i can do that in rl
Wol Euler: it's not worth making a special appointment with the doctor, but next time you are there anyway, do mention it to her/him
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: yes
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: chicken flapping lol
Wol Euler: my dears, it is 2:21 am and I have to work tomorrow. Goodnight, be happy and mobile.
    LovesChocolate Macpherson: goodnight Wol :)
    Agatha Macbeth: BFN
    Wol Euler: enjoy your weekends
    pablito Steampunk: ok goodnight Wol
    pablito Steampunk: you too ã‹¡
Agatha Macbeth: And watch yer legs
Agatha Macbeth: Night Pab, LC take care
    pablito Steampunk: ok
