Mickorod Renard: yes, fabians law was an old seriel
Agatha Macbeth: Ah, no, don't know it
Agatha Macbeth: Probably too modern for me!
Mickorod Renard: and I beleive it started where i live,,due to some wierd witchcraft murder
    Zon Quar: neber heard
Agatha Macbeth: Ooh, tell us more Mick
    Zon Quar: detective story ?
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm
Mickorod Renard: well,,not much to say other than the guy was murdered with a pitchfork and a cross carved in

    his chest
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa
    Agatha Macbeth: Recently?
Zon Quar: did u do it ?
Mickorod Renard: synonomous with traditional whictchcraft killings
    Agatha Macbeth: :D
    Agatha Macbeth nods
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Mickorod Renard: as everyone knows
    Mickorod Renard: of course
Zon Quar: perhaps i better move a bit
Agatha Macbeth: Wait a minute, did it happen somewhere near the Rollright Stones?
    Agatha Macbeth: C ya Zon
Mickorod Renard: yes,,not too far away
Zon Quar: just to be safe
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, I think I know of it
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Agatha Macbeth: Oh, he's still here
Agatha Macbeth: That was years ago tho Mick, just after the war yes?
Mickorod Renard: yes, i think so
    Agatha Macbeth: Aha
    Mickorod Renard: before my time
    Agatha Macbeth: Thought so
    Agatha Macbeth: Mine too :)
    Agatha Macbeth coughs
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Funny place the Rollrights...
Mickorod Renard: I have a little summer cold

Mickorod Renard: yes, they are quite pretty
Mickorod Renard: do u have stones where u are?
    Mickorod Renard: oops
    Zon Quar: shhhh
    Mickorod Renard: :(
Agatha Macbeth: You look very grey to me QT :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hiya Ara
    arabella Ella: Hiya
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Ara :)
Zon Quar: ara from the isle, hi
Qt Core: hi ara (better now, agatha ?)
arabella Ella: ara from the 'rock' :)
Agatha Macbeth: Aw no, still grey :(
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah...
    Agatha Macbeth: Better! :)
Agatha Macbeth: The good old Trekkie uniform
    Qt Core: :)
Mickorod Renard: its so amazing that ur rock has been occupied for so many years Ara
Zon Quar: all want to go there
arabella Ella: ah Mick ... so much in life is amazing isnt it?
    Liza Deischer: hi everyone
Qt Core: with the strategic position is amazing they are free now
Mickorod Renard: we were almost bordering on chatting about the stones,,like stone henge
    Zon Quar: liza, hi
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Liza
arabella Ella: now we get invasions by tourists
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Liza
    arabella Ella: Hiya Liza
Qt Core: mmm, maybe disciplined soldiers would be better, ara ?
    Qt Core: hi Liza
arabella Ella: not sure Qt as I am against conflict which military causes
arabella Ella: altho the italians are great
arabella Ella: they send military to help us with infrastrucure
    Qt Core: :-)
    Mickorod Renard: who do Ara?
Zon Quar: ara, dont just do something, sit
Qt Core: so that's why ours ar so in a bad shape...
    arabella Ella: i cant Zon
Agatha Macbeth: She's been watching Alf :)
    arabella Ella: am still rezzing
arabella Ella: dont see the cushions yet
arabella Ella: and dont wish to make Aga angry by sitting on her yet again :)
Agatha Macbeth: It doesn't make me angry :))
arabella Ella giggles ... only being ironic Ags ... in my own way
Liza Deischer: there is another kube from Yaku again, hanging in the air
    Agatha Macbeth: Bless 'im
Mickorod Renard: with all the deficits in global economy, i wud guess that many countries will either wage war or

    down scale their armies
    Agatha Macbeth: hopefully the latter
Wol Euler: evening all, sorry I'm late
    Qt Core: hi Wol
arabella Ella: methinks i would need a bunch of daffodils to seem more like Alf ...
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Woliphant :))
    arabella Ella: Hiya Wol
Agatha Macbeth: Yes Ara, that would certainly help!
    Zon Quar: wollie
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Wol
    Liza Deischer: i Wol
    Liza Deischer: hi*
arabella Ella: have you just been sunbathing Ags?
Agatha Macbeth: Now Zon's doing an Alf impression ;-)
    arabella Ella: (love your tats)
    Agatha Macbeth: Eh?
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Agatha Macbeth: No, it just makes me feel cooler :P
arabella Ella: oh of course u got a heat wave there dont you
Agatha Macbeth: Glad you said tats btw
arabella Ella: and here we have rain
    arabella Ella: he he
    Agatha Macbeth: Rain?
arabella Ella: nearly made a typo there
    Agatha Macbeth: Nearly!
    Wol Euler: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)))
    Wol Euler grins
    Agatha Macbeth: Anyway...
Zon Quar: being called, c u
Agatha Macbeth: What were we talking about?
    Qt Core: bye Zon
    Wol Euler: bye zon
    Mickorod Renard: bye Zon
    Liza Deischer: bye Zon
    Agatha Macbeth waves to Zon
    arabella Ella: good nite Zon
Mickorod Renard: have u got stone circles in gERMANY?
    Wol Euler: hmmmmm
    Wol Euler: I don'T know.
Wol Euler: certainly not one in every third field as in southwestern England
    Mickorod Renard: grin
Agatha Macbeth: Britain and Ireland have the lion's share
Mickorod Renard: its such a pity noone knows what they are for
Agatha Macbeth: Many of them have astronomical alignments, interestingly enough
Qt Core: some have many of them
Mickorod Renard: yes,,but some say they were just for monitoring the seasons for agriculture
Agatha Macbeth: Seems our ancestors were a lot smarter than we give 'em credit for
    Mickorod Renard: not very romantic
Wol Euler: ... which is a calendar, which is related pretty closely to astronomy
Qt Core: astronomy was created for that
    Agatha Macbeth nods
    Mickorod Renard: yes
    Wol Euler: snap
Mickorod Renard: I was watching ants today,,and was thinking ,,'can they see me or is their vision restricted'
Agatha Macbeth: You watching ants watching you
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Agatha Macbeth: Hope they weren't as big as the ones in Them!
Mickorod Renard: if they are oblivious to me,,then they must live in their own lil world
Agatha Macbeth: It's a very lil world :)
Agatha Macbeth: Ants are fascinating tho, I used to watch em for hours as a kid
Mickorod Renard: we look out at the stars,,but maybe ants see something else
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, you :P
    Mickorod Renard: maybe
Agatha Macbeth: Big Mick with his tail
Mickorod Renard: or maybe something relative to their perceptory senses
Qt Core: have to admit i more often spent time killing them instead than watching them as a kid
Agatha Macbeth: I think they use chemical senses a lot
Liza Deischer: to another creature, maybe our world looks the same as that of ants
Agatha Macbeth: Would be a big creature!
Wol Euler: perhaps we are surrounded by creatures too large for us to see, just as ants are.
Mickorod Renard: I had to kill some today,,they were anoying someone in the food tech room,,I sort of resented

being expected to become a mass murderer
Mickorod Renard: well, that was what i was thinking Wol
Agatha Macbeth says a prayer for the poor ants
Wol Euler: Mick, let me teach you a wonderfully useful expression :)
Wol Euler: repeat after me "Why is that my problem?"
    Mickorod Renard: please
    Wol Euler grins.
Agatha Macbeth: It was certainly a problem for the ants
Agatha Macbeth: They're all dead now
Mickorod Renard: which bit is my problem?,,the murdering or the initial ant issue?
Wol Euler: if I understood properly, you didn't have a problem, somebody else did.
Wol Euler: but it somehow became yours.
    Mickorod Renard: yes
    Mickorod Renard: spot on
Wol Euler: the object of hte exercise is to short-circuit that process
Mickorod Renard: it did cross my mind
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, like 'kill yer own ants in future'
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Mickorod Renard: but then they would have thought me as pedantic..is pedantic the right word?
Mickorod Renard: its got ant in it
    Wol Euler: :)
    Liza Deischer: :-)
    arabella Ella: he he
Agatha Macbeth: You should have told them you're a Buddhist or something :p
Mickorod Renard: I was suprised they asked me,,i get to do the spiders over too
Liza Deischer: as a Buddhist I feal with you Mick :-)
    Liza Deischer: *feel
    Mickorod Renard: mm ty
Mickorod Renard: I will be stroger next time
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Stroger
    Mickorod Renard: stronger *
    Mickorod Renard: grin
Agatha Macbeth: Mick stroger: ant killer
Liza Deischer: whatever 'stronger' may be
Mickorod Renard: yes,,maybe if i wear a mask they wont see me
Agatha Macbeth tries to work out last statement
    Liza Deischer: hahahah
Mickorod Renard: see,,this is an example of changing ones position,,sort of like reverse filtering
Agatha Macbeth: Now you lost me completely Im afraid
    Liza Deischer: me too
    Mickorod Renard: i am too
Agatha Macbeth: (Maybe I'll ask the ants)
Mickorod Renard: i wud try and explain myself better but fear i may confuse more
Agatha Macbeth: Not possible Mick ;-)
Mickorod Renard: well,,i guess they picked me cos they filtered through the options
Mickorod Renard: and somehow I need to reverse their filtering
    Mickorod Renard: ooops
    Agatha Macbeth: Shhhh!
    Mickorod Renard: :(
Mickorod Renard: but this is a fine example of how we may wish to correct issues in our lives yet find that others

are accustomed to us being diferent
    Wol Euler: "pliable" perhaps
Agatha Macbeth: Ah yes, I see (I think)
Mickorod Renard: well,,i hate to admit it Wol,,but yes,,i guess thats me
Qt Core: and then having done it once now you are the officlal antkiller
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Mickorod Renard: yes
Mickorod Renard: i must put my foot down(checking first for ants)
    Agatha Macbeth groans
    Wol Euler: :)
    Liza Deischer: :-)
Mickorod Renard: when u feel it screeching through you, as you kill them,,do u think thats my own thoughts,,or

is it I am sensing their pain?
Liza Deischer: it is called emphasizing
    Mickorod Renard: ty
    Wol Euler: *empathizing actually (sorry)
    arabella Ella: :)
Liza Deischer: thanks, knew I went wrong somewhere
    Agatha Macbeth: Emphasising empathising
Mickorod Renard: I understood..wouldnt have known the diference anyway
Wol Euler: it is in any case a new and valuable awareness, Mick, wherever it comes from
Liza Deischer: always mixing those words up, same words in Dutch, so nothing to hide :-)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
    Eliza Madrigal: hi
Wol Euler: sorry to be a pedant :(
    Wol Euler: hello eliza
    Liza Deischer: hi Eliz
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Liz :))
Mickorod Renard: but what is emphasising?,,is it just going all soft?
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Wol., everyone :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Eliza
    Qt Core: hi Eliza
    arabella Ella: Hiya Eliza
Mickorod Renard: I find its a funny old thing,,I fight becoming all soft,,but somewhere I feel its the right thing
Liza Deischer: some would say so, I would say you start asking questions about what you are doing
Liza Deischer: sounds right to me
Liza Deischer: and not at all soft
Mickorod Renard: where is the balance though?
Liza Deischer: well that is where you keep on asking questions
Liza Deischer: and after a while it gets easier to make decisions based on that
Liza Deischer: it is a process
Mickorod Renard: but I kill hundreds of flies in the day driving to work
    Liza Deischer: true
    Wol Euler nods
Mickorod Renard: sometimes the odd hedghog
Liza Deischer: those are the questions to ask
    Mickorod Renard: squirel
Liza Deischer: what is the difference?
    Mickorod Renard: rabbit
    Wol Euler: intention, I guess.
    Liza Deischer: right
Wol Euler: even the law recognizes that difference, between murder and manslaughter
    Liza Deischer: right
    Agatha Macbeth: 'Malice aforethought'
    Wol Euler: or "afoot" :)
Mickorod Renard: ok,,so if its accidental ,,not so bad,,but killin the ants wasnt right?
    Agatha Macbeth: Indeed
Liza Deischer: it is intention and picking out your 'victims'
Wol Euler: Mick, if you felt that it wasn't, then it wasn't. IMHO.
Mickorod Renard: but i bet we all would get a cockroach exterminator in?
    Wol Euler: oh yes.
    Wol Euler: hehehehh
    Liza Deischer: sure
Liza Deischer: but the real point here is to be aware of the consequences
Liza Deischer: and then you start to balance it
Liza Deischer: making decisions on that
Agatha Macbeth: Like if the ants hire a hit man...
Mickorod Renard: but ants were being a pest like the cockroaches
Liza Deischer: ants don't bother me, so why should I kill them
Liza Deischer: for bugs I found another solution
Liza Deischer: and sometimes there is no other solution
Agatha Macbeth: As Richard Nixon said
Wol Euler: gee, I dunno, they would have to be huge and filthy ants to be as pestiferous as a cockroach.
Mickorod Renard: isnt that passing the buck,,if you know its a pest
Mickorod Renard: helping someone get rid of a pest seemed right,,but killin the ants seemed wrong as well
Eliza Madrigal: One tries to do the best they can in the moment, it seems
Liza Deischer: well asking question also means that you start to determine if they are really a pest or not
Liza Deischer: or because we don't like them we have agreed collectivily that they are a pest
Mickorod Renard: I was considering that Liza
Qt Core: have to go, bye all
Wol Euler: bye qt, sleep well
    Mickorod Renard: bye Qt
    Liza Deischer: bye QT
arabella Ella: well i would not like to find ants amongst the clothes i intend to wear ... would make them quite itchy
Eliza Madrigal: It never works for me to say "I won't kill the ants" but in the moment I might try to be sensitive

    other ways
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Qt
    Agatha Macbeth: Cia QT
    Agatha Macbeth: +o
Liza Deischer: right, becoming aware of it
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: we do too much just by habit.. not questioning it
    Liza Deischer: right
Eliza Madrigal: then don't even see other options
    Wol Euler nods.
Mickorod Renard: I dont know much about budhist monks etc,,but sometimes i wonder whether they live a life

where they choose and do not consider the effects that others livein
Liza Deischer: can somebody explain to Yaku how it works with boxes :-))))
    Wol Euler: eh?
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, is that ya's box?
Mickorod Renard: as in for eg,,do they live a life that is dependant on others doin the dirty work for them?
Agatha Macbeth: He is box boy
Liza Deischer: since I can be mistaken nowadays, taken it to be a box, and then notice it is QT :-))))
Eliza Madrigal: What dirty work Mick? monks generally work pretty hard within a monastery ?
Mickorod Renard: well, i was wondering who kills their ants
    Wol Euler: the apprentices, probably
Wol Euler: "you, boy, kill them thar ants."
Liza Deischer: Tibetans are lucky, not much ants in the cold :-))
    Agatha Macbeth: With kung fu
Wol Euler: and very tiny nunchakus
Liza Deischer: but they probably would let them be
Eliza Madrigal: :) my friend at the temple I go to, goes to great lenghs not to kill them... lures them out, uses all

kinds of 'natural repellents in the kitchen...
Mickorod Renard: should the Dalai Lama fly just in case its engines polute the atmosphere and kill something?
Eliza Madrigal: seems to work but then I dont live there so I'm not sure :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Now *that's* dedication
Liza Deischer: no but that is so nice about Tibetan Buddhism
Eliza Madrigal: that's why I think we do the best with what we've got where we are
Liza Deischer: if you don't know the answer
Liza Deischer: you look at your teacher
Mickorod Renard: I did try and explain this morning that we could use a decoy to lure the ants out
    Eliza Madrigal: a decoy?? hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: or a flute?
Mickorod Renard: like a sexy female ant
    arabella Ella: Pied Piper Mick?
Mickorod Renard: or a bit of cheese
Agatha Macbeth looks sideways at Mick
    Liza Deischer: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: Here's a picture you might like...
    Eliza Madrigal: http://playasbeing.wik.is/PaB_Scribe_Project/2010/05/13_-_15_Alert_Waiting
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Mickorod Renard: my pc is too slow
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww, cute :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, shame Mick. Its a cat catapulting a mouse
    Agatha Macbeth: CATapulting
arabella Ella: using a spoon as a catapult
    Eliza Madrigal: heheheh yes
Agatha Macbeth: As opposed to mouseapulting
    Liza Deischer: see you all
    Liza Deischer: next time :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Liza :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Liza
Wol Euler: 'night liza, take care
Eliza Madrigal: antapulting might be an invention for you Mick...
    Mickorod Renard: bye Liza
    Agatha Macbeth: :DDD
Eliza Madrigal: just sling them out the door from now out
    Eliza Madrigal: now on rather
Agatha Macbeth: One at a time
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: wow,,just opened it,,thats a nice scribe
Wol Euler: put up a tiny "armed response" sign to deter them.
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Mick :)
Agatha Macbeth: And pray they don't kick your ass
Mickorod Renard: i must do mine for this month
    Mickorod Renard: eeeek
Eliza Madrigal: Ohhh you'll be amused to know Pema has a twitter now...
    Agatha Macbeth: Is it infectious?
Eliza Madrigal: told him he must write haikus there to lure you in :)
    arabella Ella: he he
Eliza Madrigal: It seems to be Ag :))
Mickorod Renard: yea,,i like them haikus,,i havnt done one for a week or so
Wol Euler: No haiku this week / Nor last week either, in fact. / I should write more soon.
    Eliza Madrigal: !! :))))
    Agatha Macbeth: Yowza
    Mickorod Renard:
     ants in pants
i want to get them gone away
     pass wind,done
    Agatha Macbeth: ??
Mickorod Renard: there, a budhist friendly way to get rid of ants
Eliza Madrigal: well if that's your method they may stop asking you mick
    Agatha Macbeth pities the ants
Wol Euler: which is where we started!
Wol Euler: that's what Mick wanted to achieve :)
Mickorod Renard: ok,,on that luvly haiku, i must be on my way
Mickorod Renard: thankyou all for comming
    Agatha Macbeth: Tatty bye Mick
Wol Euler: bye mick, take care of the ants
Eliza Madrigal: Okay, Bye Mick... I'm waiting to go to the Kira event
    arabella Ella: bye mick
Agatha Macbeth: Watch out for the big ones
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see ya
arabella Ella: i must go too goodnight all
    Agatha Macbeth: Night Ara
Wol Euler: 'night ara, take care
Mickorod Renard: bye bye,,sleep tite those sleeping soon,,and sleep tite those sleeping later
Agatha Macbeth: I'll sleep warm either way
    Wol Euler: heh
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Agatha Macbeth: Where did everybody go?
    Eliza Madrigal: I'm still here
    Wol Euler: were you asleep?
Eliza Madrigal: If I'd gone, I'd probably know
    Agatha Macbeth redefines 'everybody'
Eliza Madrigal: Did I miss a pool party?
    Eliza Madrigal: (cute pink bikini)
Agatha Macbeth: we can have one now if you like :)
Agatha Macbeth: Oh it makes me feel cooler ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: not sure I could change back before kira.. haha
    Agatha Macbeth: (Illogically)
Eliza Madrigal: Actually, not at all... I understand how it might!
Agatha Macbeth: Oh yes, it's the thing with Pema yes?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Eliza Madrigal: yup
    Wol Euler: sounded interesting.
Wol Euler: we could go early and bag the best seats.
Agatha Macbeth: In that case, I'll take a leisurely walk up there
Wol Euler: isn't it at kira?
Eliza Madrigal: I wouldn't know how to walk to kira
    Wol Euler: where'sshe going?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hm, eys
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
    Eliza Madrigal shakes head...
Eliza Madrigal: must have a secret path
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Wol Euler: an Agatha
Wol Euler: an Agatha's Ladder :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes that's it
    Wol Euler: seey ou there.
Eliza Madrigal: Well see you (and hopefully Ag) at Kira
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
