The Guardian for this meeting was Agatha Macbeth. The comments are by Aggers.

I arrived at the Pavillion to find a very small fountain with not very many cushions....

Agatha Macbeth: Someone appears to have been messing with the furniture
    Agatha Macbeth: Hiya Liz :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hiya Ag :)
Agatha Macbeth: Is it me, or is everything a little on the confined side?
Eliza Madrigal: You didn't arrange this?
    Agatha Macbeth: Nope
Agatha Macbeth: It was like this when I arrived
Eliza Madrigal: Ah. Yes, sometimes people like to shrink it when there are just a few guardians present... maybe this morning's session was quaint :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Mick :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Mick
Agatha Macbeth: Hope we don't get a full house then!
    Mickorod Renard: hi Guys

Eliza restores the fountain to its correct size, and I consequently find myself sitting in the water!

Agatha Macbeth: Ah, me bum's wet
    Eliza Madrigal: hehehe
    Mickorod Renard: he he
    Agatha Macbeth: Better
Eliza Madrigal: I've not a clue what to do with the flowers though
Mickorod Renard: I have almost finnished my scribe for last month Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Yay! Thanks Mick :))
    Mickorod Renard: sorry,,i am slow
Eliza Madrigal: Then I can put you on the spot soon :)
    Mickorod Renard: so busy
Mickorod Renard: yes,,i think Ara wants to do a duo
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Darren
Eliza Madrigal: Of course! You do a very nice job, and its much appreciated
    Mickorod Renard: hi darren
    Eliza Madrigal: a duo?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Darren :)
    Darren Islar: hi everyone
Mickorod Renard: i mean,,as an interview
Agatha Macbeth: How often do the scribes change then?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah... oh I getcha. Great!
Darren Islar: sorry, was distracted by Eliza's looks :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Well, the idea is for people to sign up for about 4 months, but for those who like it to continue
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Eliza Madrigal: the thing is, we have a few openings and it seems when someone jumps in another jumps out lately
    Agatha Macbeth: I see
Mickorod Renard: well,,i enjoy doin it,,but i wish i had more time for it
Eliza Madrigal: It can be simpler... have been thinking of ways to play. Not everyone should feel they need to show every session, etc
Mickorod Renard: if u wanna try Ags we cud share,,do months about
Eliza Madrigal: just what they thought was most interesting :)
Agatha Macbeth: Yeah, why not? :)
Mickorod Renard: well,,i just paste what i like
Agatha Macbeth: I quite like the idea
Mickorod Renard: and add soome poems and pickies
    Agatha Macbeth: Mm
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, would be great to have your view Ag
Darren Islar can't get his eyes off Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: I enjoy the way you pull together the chat logs
Agatha Macbeth: My view never seems the same same as anyone else's :p
    Mickorod Renard: do you?
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, Thanks Darren... I do feel pretty dramatic like this :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Dramatic!
    Darren Islar: :)
Mickorod Renard: I think yours and mine have a similar slant Ags
Agatha Macbeth holds up her hands
Eliza Madrigal: specially with the fan
    Agatha Macbeth grins @ Mick
Eliza Madrigal nods to Mick... bit of irreverence...
    Mickorod Renard: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Mickorod Renard: we would compliment each other
Agatha Macbeth: I love the way the fan goes up and down when you type Liz ;-)
Darren Islar: it does look good on you
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes Mick, surely
Eliza Madrigal: Steve reminded me a fan is a weapon in some martial arts ;-)
Mickorod Renard: I can only see a cloud for eliza
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa

    --BELL--

    Agatha Macbeth: Bruce Madrigal...
Darren Islar: I'm afraid I'm in a bit of a lyric mood :)
    Eliza Madrigal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqGQ72bre30
    Darren Islar: oops
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
Agatha Macbeth: Are you going to sing then Daz?
Darren Islar: oh should like to do that, but can't sing I'm afraid
    Agatha Macbeth: Aw
Eliza Madrigal: we need to do PaB karaoke in the pub
Agatha Macbeth: Neither can Rod Stewart, look where he is now ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Darren Islar: :)
    Darren Islar: true Agatha
Agatha Macbeth: Yes Liz, good idea!
Eliza Madrigal: Ag and Mick can duet... to introduce their new collaboration
Darren Islar: but he has this voice
Darren Islar: it seems women like that
    Agatha Macbeth grins
Eliza Madrigal: scratchy.... yes seems so
Agatha Macbeth: I wouldn't throw me knickers at him :)
Mickorod Renard: are you well read in sufi wisdom darren?
    Darren Islar: not at all
    Mickorod Renard: ok ty
    Eliza Madrigal: how come Mick?
    Mickorod Renard: was just wondering
Agatha Macbeth: Perhaps we should ask that guy who was here on Tuesday about it
Eliza Madrigal: yes I did wonder if he returned
Agatha Macbeth: What was his name again?
    Agatha Macbeth: Zirhaan?
    Mickorod Renard: yea
    Eliza Madrigal: hey, nice memory
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Agatha Macbeth: Don't remember his 2nd name tho
Eliza Madrigal: I love Rumi... that's my deepest familiarity with sufism
Mickorod Renard: it must be on the log
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes...and Idries Shah
Mickorod Renard: yes,,i pasted some rumi poems in my scribes
    Qt Core: hi all
    Mickorod Renard: hi Qt
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi QT :)
    Darren Islar: hi QT
    Agatha Macbeth: Buona sera
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Qt :)
Eliza Madrigal: Sometimes I hear advice float up... that we have in us a 'deciding force' that knows what to choose and what to turn from
    Agatha Macbeth: Sometimes perhaps Liz
Mickorod Renard: are you patrolling the delta or alpha quadrant at the moment QT?
    Eliza Madrigal: within us
Agatha Macbeth: He's about to fire phasers
Qt Core: as a programmer i'm in beta ;-)
    Mickorod Renard: he he ,,

A shower of multi coloured ballons suddenly appears

    Agatha Macbeth: Ooh balloons
    Eliza Madrigal: wow
Darren Islar: well, if I can't sing
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe, how great
    Agatha Macbeth: Ha ha
Darren Islar: I at least can throw some balloons around :)
Mickorod Renard: how do u mean Eliza
    Agatha Macbeth: 'My beautiful balloon'
    Eliza Madrigal: and stars, too
Agatha Macbeth: I thought we were the stars
    Darren Islar: :)
Eliza Madrigal: star star teach me how to shine...
Agatha Macbeth: How d'you change the size of the fountain then?
Eliza Madrigal: Mick, about the deciding force? Hm... guess I take comfort in the idea that we all have a flame of discernment... Rumi writes that ...
Mickorod Renard: are you curious Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah. I typed : /9 show
    Agatha Macbeth: TY :)
    Qt Core: hi bleu
    Darren Islar: hi Bleu
    Mickorod Renard: Hi bleu
Eliza Madrigal: Always curious Mick, you ? :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello Bleu
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Mickorod Renard: yes
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Mickorod Renard: all the time,,but sometimes moreso
    Mickorod Renard: sometimes too much
    Bleu Oleander: ooo nice balloons!
Eliza Madrigal: have you found insight on the random theory?
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Darren Islar: yes they wanted me to sing
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Random theory?
    Mickorod Renard: random matrix theory
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
    Mickorod Renard: much simpler
Eliza Madrigal: what about a matrix of random theories?
Agatha Macbeth: Just looking that up in Wikipedia :)
Mickorod Renard: well, I am comming to the idea that I need to think about something else
Eliza Madrigal: Well, Bleu brought up the E8 TOE, that might capture your imagination for a while :)

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Mm, sounds like Gilles and Birric's kinda stuff
Eliza Madrigal is convinced someone extended the bell and didn't tell anyone...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Darren Islar: heheh
    Agatha Macbeth: Ding donggggggggggggggggg
    Eliza Madrigal: random ding theory
    Agatha Macbeth: Or dong :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Long dong?
    Agatha Macbeth: Oops
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Darren Islar: what exactly is the topic today
    Agatha Macbeth slaps her wrist
Darren Islar: I am really lost here
    Agatha Macbeth: Good question!
Agatha Macbeth: I think Liz started one and we lost it...
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, not often that we have an exact topic
    Agatha Macbeth reads back
Bleu Oleander: have you all done your photos?
Agatha Macbeth: Sometimes I hear advice float up... that we have in us a 'deciding force' that knows what to choose and what to turn from
Eliza Madrigal: I have taken a few at this point... not sure which will be chosen by the deciding force
Darren Islar: true, but I see bits and pieces between all the fun :)
    Agatha Macbeth: (Quote)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Darren Islar: a that deciding force
Agatha Macbeth: The deciding force eh? Heavy
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Agatha Macbeth: May the force be with you
Darren Islar: yes, not my word :)
Eliza Madrigal: Well.... like today... I went to visit with friends and afterward wondered about how people give one another 'advice'...
Bleu Oleander: (and if one should take it)
Agatha Macbeth: Depends on the people I guess...
Agatha Macbeth will be right back.
Eliza Madrigal: yes... afterward I was walking around in a store and realized... in almost a voice talking to me kind of way (hah-not 'really' don't worry) [okay Joan :)] that I and my situation are ENTIRELY unique... as is the case with us all
Mickorod Renard: I tend to give a tale about a circumstance i experience
    Agatha Macbeth: Back
    Mickorod Renard: hi
Eliza Madrigal: one little factor changes everything
Agatha Macbeth: Like the butterfly in Chaos theory?
Mickorod Renard: I prefer to give people building bricks,,so they can use them if they want to resolve their own issues
    Eliza Madrigal: YES :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
    Eliza Madrigal nods @ Mick
    Mickorod Renard: winks back
Eliza Madrigal: yes, we can share but can't 'fix'
    Agatha Macbeth: ?me agrees
    Agatha Macbeth agrees
    Agatha Macbeth: even
Eliza Madrigal: :) Takes some of us a long time to stop trying, though (to fix)
    Darren Islar: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: We all try
Agatha Macbeth: The hardest thing seems to be to fix ourselves
Mickorod Renard: I have been thinking..(a rare occurance) and have been suprised that i dont really know anything
Agatha Macbeth: You should be a politician then Mick ;-)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Bleu Oleander: so don't take advice from you? hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Mickorod Renard: but strangely I seem to understand things
    Eliza Madrigal: intuitively?
    Mickorod Renard: perhaps
Agatha Macbeth: Be honest, would *you* take advice from Mick? ;-)))
    Mickorod Renard: he he he
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Eliza Madrigal: I would take advice from Bleu on how to take pictures... and from Darren on how to materialize balloons out of thin virtual air
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, true
    Darren Islar: :)
Mickorod Renard: but I think that I am dropping tons of stuff,,and just keeping the understanding
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Agatha Macbeth: And on you from where to shop for kimonos
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps your understanding is more 'in the moment' Mick?
Darren Islar: dropping is giving space to understanding
    Bleu Oleander: lovely kimono btw
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes advice which I received from Adams
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Bleu :))
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    Bleu Oleander: ooo ty Eliza!

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: yw
Eliza Madrigal: Mick is this a determination you've made, or something you've just sort of naturally moved into?
Eliza Madrigal: sounds like you trust yourself more... if I'm hearing you
    Bleu Oleander: hey Yaku
    Eliza Madrigal: Hiya Ya :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Agatha Macbeth: Hiya Yaku :)
    Darren Islar: hey Yaku :)
    Qt Core: hi yaku
Yakuzza Lethecus: is there something to celebrate ?
Mickorod Renard: I was riding home the other night, from a resaurant,,through the moonlit countryside,,I was moving pretty fast,,in an abandoned state(normal for me),,when I realised how chaotic it was,,dodging animals and cars and bends etc,,yet in my own world I was in complete ,,,,,,,something
Darren Islar: no, but I can't sing :)
Agatha Macbeth: I bet you can!
Darren Islar: I know, it doesn't make sense
Yakuzza Lethecus: usually that is more fun then actually singing well
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least until some point :)
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Yaku
Eliza Madrigal: always something to celebrate
Eliza Madrigal: That's beautiful Mick... sounds like you noticed your peace? contentment?
Eliza Madrigal: Ya, what do you think about karaoke in the pub sometimes... hehe
Mickorod Renard: I am becoming detached from reality,,or am I becoming more in tune with the real reality?
Darren Islar: it is one of those moments yes
    Darren Islar: very nice :)
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm
Yakuzza Lethecus: hihi, i guess i would just like to listen :D
    Bleu Oleander: real reality??
Eliza Madrigal smiles... ah, well it can't be just mick, ag and I, Ya :))
    Agatha Macbeth: No?
Agatha Macbeth: We could start a band
Eliza Madrigal: well... hm, would be more of a show than a mutually embarrassing moment :)
Agatha Macbeth: Or a barbers shop quartet
Agatha Macbeth: With five of us :)
Eliza Madrigal: I've thought about this a bit actually... about awareness/peace which hm... is 'more' engaged, alive...
Mickorod Renard: what does abstract mean?
Eliza Madrigal: rather than the typical idea of detachment 'away'
Mickorod Renard: yes,,but its another realm I think Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: another realm?
Mickorod Renard: I think maybe the mind dwelling in another state
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, as opposed to sort of 'coping'
Darren Islar: I don;t if it is a state?
Mickorod Renard: mmm not sure what u mean there
Mickorod Renard: I dont think its away,,but its another dimention of thinking
    Mickorod Renard: dimension*
Eliza Madrigal: to me coping can be stressful... like you are one place and there are 'things' you are dealing with in 'another'... so there is a kind of stress TO coping, even if mindfully?
    Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh, I see
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Darren Islar: being mindfull doesn't mean you don't experience stress
Darren Islar: or grief, or happiness or whatever....
Darren Islar: in my 'state' that is :)
Mickorod Renard: if you notice,,the attachments that stop you reaching your desired state of harmony are doing just that,,keeping you trapped in the normal way of thought

    --BELL--

Agatha Macbeth: Yes Mick, I can see that
    Eliza Madrigal: ordinary mind?
Mickorod Renard: no wonder that most mystics or monks or whatever have abandoned all their belongings
Mickorod Renard: and their family responsibilities
    Mickorod Renard: homes
    Mickorod Renard: cars
Agatha Macbeth: I guess they would have to...
Mickorod Renard: they could perhaps keep a goat
Darren Islar: at the same time a lot of teachers are emphasizing that in the real world there is the stuff to learn
Bleu Oleander: cu later everyone :)
    Qt Core: bye bleu
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Bleu
    Bleu Oleander: bye
Darren Islar: a monastary being a real world too :)
    Mickorod Renard: bye bleu
    Darren Islar: bye Bleu
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Bleu :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes... but I think there are more and more modern variations
Mickorod Renard: but are the modern variations just commercial trade offs,,never meeting true fulfilment?
Eliza Madrigal: less emphasis on either/or
Eliza Madrigal: Interesting question. I tend to think it is possible to live in a deeply devoted way, centered, and everything coming 'from that' ...
Darren Islar: (having doubts about fulfilment)
    Mickorod Renard: :)
Eliza Madrigal: but not without making decisions to protect that space
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes 'hard' choices or choices that others don't understand...
Eliza Madrigal: maybe that's true for everyone though :))
Mickorod Renard: I dont want to cat doubt here
    Mickorod Renard: cast,,not cat,,he he

(That darned cat keeps getting in here!)

    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eliza Madrigal: yes Bella is really real, Mick
    Mickorod Renard: cast a cat
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Calvino :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Cal :)
    Qt Core: hi calvino
    Darren Islar: hi Cal :)
Calvino Rabeni: Hello Eliza, Ag, QT Darren
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Cal
    Calvino Rabeni: BYe QT
Qt Core: time to go for me, have fun, bye all
    Mickorod Renard: bye qt,
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Qt!
Eliza Madrigal: Mick what came to mind when you described noticing.... something...
    Agatha Macbeth: Ciao QT
Eliza Madrigal: was the word "satori"
    Mickorod Renard: when was that?
    Darren Islar: bye QT
    Qt Core: ciao!
Eliza Madrigal: when you were driving...
    Mickorod Renard: no
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, no? am I embellishing?
    Mickorod Renard: wheres Cal?
    Mickorod Renard: ohh hi
    Yakuzza Lethecus: still here
Eliza Madrigal: to your left Mick
    Agatha Macbeth points
Mickorod Renard: is there a wok tonite?
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    Calvino Rabeni: Hi Mick :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Hope so
    Eliza Madrigal: yes... at 2:30
    Mickorod Renard: yikes
Eliza Madrigal: you swept through the room last week, Mick... sitting, smoking a cigar
Eliza Madrigal: do you know that???
    Eliza Madrigal: was so funny
    Mickorod Renard: yes?
    Eliza Madrigal: yup
    Agatha Macbeth: That's our Mick
    Mickorod Renard: strange
    Darren Islar: need to go
    Darren Islar: bye all :)
Eliza Madrigal: we remarked that it was your mindful moment
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Darren
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye darren
    Mickorod Renard: bye darren
Eliza Madrigal: there go the balloons too... but the flowers remain
    Mickorod Renard: ok,,gotta go,,c u later
Agatha Macbeth: And very cute they are too
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Mick
    Agatha Macbeth: Bye Mick
    Yakuzza Lethecus: night mick

    --BELL--

Eliza Madrigal: Oh My... storms setting in here
    Agatha Macbeth: Is he? :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Eliza Madrigal: ah gee...
Agatha Macbeth: Long way from Colorado...
Eliza Madrigal: well it would be nice for storm to visit, but no :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Eliza Madrigal: this is the very ferocious kind....
Agatha Macbeth has heard about those Florida storms
Eliza Madrigal: they can be terrible, indeed
Agatha Macbeth: Hopefully won't be a hurricane
Eliza Madrigal: I like them generally... except when I want to be on the computer :)
    Eliza Madrigal: not hurricanes though
    Eliza Madrigal: hah, just thunderstorms
Agatha Macbeth: I like thunderstorms :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Calvino Rabeni: They're fun
Agatha Macbeth: Mm, especially the lightning
Calvino Rabeni: Some people hate them
Eliza Madrigal: as a child I was frightened of them...
Calvino Rabeni: Colorado is good thunder country
Agatha Macbeth: A storm for Storm...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm... heard hail against the window...
    Agatha Macbeth: Whoa
    Wol Euler: evening all
    Agatha Macbeth: Hi Wol :))
Eliza Madrigal: maybe appropriate for us to discuss 'help' at Wok today ..hhe
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Wol :))
    Eliza Madrigal: You look loverly
    Wol Euler beams. thank you
    Agatha Macbeth: She always does
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi wol
Wol Euler: thank you too :)
Wol Euler: hello yaku, cal, eliza, aggers
Agatha Macbeth: Almost looks like a wedding dress...
    Agatha Macbeth: Almost
    Wol Euler grins
Eliza Madrigal: :)) It may be the first time I've seen you pastel-y, Wol :)
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Wol Euler: certainly countable on the fingers of one hand
Agatha Macbeth: Pastely sounds like a Hungarian name
    Eliza Madrigal: haha... or dinner
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep
    Wol Euler: :)
Calvino Rabeni: Calvino Rabeni "zooms" in on white lace :)
    Agatha Macbeth: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Eek, this is getting bad. I may need to sign off for a few minutes and hopefully make it to the workshop
    Agatha Macbeth: Oh dear
    Wol Euler: what's up?
    Agatha Macbeth: Storm in RL
Eliza Madrigal: Florida storms pass by pretty quickly though... should make it
    Wol Euler: oh wow
Calvino Rabeni: Fear of a power surge perhaps
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Eliza Madrigal: see you there sooner or later all, yes.... I'm on a desktop :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye for now
    Agatha Macbeth: Take care Liz
Wol Euler: would that be WOK?
Agatha Macbeth: In five mins, yes
    Agatha Macbeth: Coming along?
Wol Euler: perhaps I will, yes
    Agatha Macbeth: Yay!
Wol Euler: but I haven't done my homework
    Agatha Macbeth: Who does?
Wol Euler: I'll say that the mouse ate it
Agatha Macbeth: It probably did :p
Agatha Macbeth: Emerald is playing up for me btw
    Wol Euler: mm?
Agatha Macbeth: So I'm using Snowglobe
    Wol Euler: ah!
    Wol Euler: and?
Agatha Macbeth: Well i keep getting these strange red areas appearing in Emerald

(As an aside, I have since discovered the reason for this and corrected it)

    Agatha Macbeth: Dunno why
Wol Euler: oh right, you mentioned that
    Agatha Macbeth nods
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, it wasn't the fountain the other night, it was my viewer

    --BELL--

Calvino Rabeni: Ah time to swoosh over to the Kira Cafe - take care, be well everyone :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Yep, coming...
    Wol Euler: let's go!
