The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind. The comments are by Storm Nordwind.

    Eden Haiku: Hi Darren!
    Darren Islar: hi Eden :)
Eden Haiku: Sorry for that Darren, I'm not used to the laptop moves anymore...
    Darren Islar: :) np
Darren Islar: i guess it is part of sl :)
Eden Haiku: Still, going through people is not polite :)
    Darren Islar: that's true
Eden Haiku: How are you this morning?
    Darren Islar: pretty much okay
    Darren Islar: you?
    --BELL--
Eden Haiku: Yes, good. A bit tired.
    Darren Islar: hey Storm :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Storm Nordwind: Good morning/afternoon :)
    Darren Islar: hey Yaku :)
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Storm!

I've turned up today wearing something other than the normal casual attire I've worn in SL for years!

Eden Haiku: I love your suit Storm, it s very elegant!
Darren Islar: you look great Storm
Storm Nordwind: Thank you Eden - I rarely wear it, except for effect
    Eden Haiku: Hey Yaku!
Darren Islar: though I looked more closely expecting a hook on one of your hands :)
    Eden Haiku: ;)
Storm Nordwind: if you look closely you won't see a parrot on my shoulder
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Darren Islar: :)
Storm Nordwind: It was bought for me 3 years ago. I just put it on as a prop for an art exhibit photo
Darren Islar can't stay long, just saying hello
Storm Nordwind: Your hellos are always valued :)
    Darren Islar: :)
    Eden Haiku: :)
Darren Islar: it looks really good on you
Storm Nordwind has no dress sense at all ;)
Storm Nordwind: but thank you :)
    Darren Islar: hahah

Our comments gravitate towards water, as we do too!

Storm Nordwind: I'm thinking of starting an SL laundry to wash overworn clothes ;)
    Darren Islar: :)
Eden Haiku: Good idea. The other day, I realized I never washed my SL hair ;))
Storm Nordwind: Let's see what we can do about that... ;)
Yakuzza Lethecus: did you ever went to the hairdresser ?
Darren Islar: I sometimes go for a swim, would that be enough you think :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: ur hair is also so long :)
Eden Haiku: Yeah, never thought of going to the SL hair salon, but there must be. Do you go there to get you head shaved Yaku?
Darren Islar: oh nice, hardly have any rain lately
Darren Islar: don't need to take care of Liza's garden today :)
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Eden Haiku: Ah! it feels good Storm, thanks! Hope my pink colored hair won't run ;)
    Storm Nordwind laughs
Yakuzza Lethecus: where are the lightnings ?
Darren Islar: it would be swell, if avatars really would look wet :)
Eden Haiku: Only a gentle summer rain, nice :)
Storm Nordwind: I've sent the lightnings off to play elsewhere Yak. But we may still hear their thunder.

We muse about the future of Second Life.

Eden Haiku: Wondering what SL will look like in 2 years from now...if it is still there.
Storm Nordwind: or who will own it
    Eden Haiku: Who might?
    Eden Haiku: China?
    Storm Nordwind shrugs
pab-Darren-wet-t-shirt.jpgYakuzza Lethecus: i wonder if hipihi developed further
    Darren Islar: hipihi?
    Eden Haiku: Another metaverse Yaku?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, it´s a chinese secondlife
    Eden Haiku: OH!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.hipihi.com/en/
Storm Nordwind notices Darren's entry for the Wet Tshirt Contest
    Yakuzza Lethecus: nah, metaverse
    Darren Islar: oh okay
    Eden Haiku: ;))
Darren Islar: there is one I heard, chineze needing some more guidance, used to that by culture

We're now all sitting in the pool, and it's raining. Naturally our thoughts turn to childhood games in the rain.

Darren Islar likes the sound of rain and thunder, hmmmm :)
Eden Haiku: yes, I like it too:)
Eden Haiku: Yaku , you are still with the maracas?
Eden Haiku: Always ready to party?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: of course :)
    Storm Nordwind: always ready to
    Storm Nordwind: manbo!
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Storm Nordwind: stop
Darren Islar: I can't remember Yaku without manbo's anymoe
    Darren Islar: anymore :)
    Eden Haiku: manbo
    Eden Haiku: manbo!
    --BELL--
    Eden Haiku: stop
pab-in-the-pool-1.jpgStorm Nordwind: playing in the rain
Storm Nordwind: I always loved doing that as a child
    Darren Islar: yep
Eden Haiku: In England, you had a lot of rain to play in ;)
Storm Nordwind: Ha ha Eden - yes!!
Storm Nordwind: I recall my mother was less enthusiastic though
    Eden Haiku: ;))
    Darren Islar: :))
Eden Haiku: I remember a game we played with neighbourhood kids, making rafts to navigate on water holes. It was so much fun!
Eden Haiku: No way to sit in the pool Storm?
    Darren Islar: sounds great
Storm Nordwind: There is Eden... just stay there
    Darren Islar: aaahhhhhh, lovely
Storm Nordwind: These needed a wash anyway
    Darren Islar: hahah
Eden Haiku: Ah I see...that is very nice Storm! Yaku, come join us we are paddling in the pool!
Eden Haiku: What games did you play in the rain Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Oh all sorts... my favorite was cycling to a lakeside, and using my cycle cape as a kind of tent, watching the rain beat a rising mist over the water
Darren Islar: well, that is also very nice to do being an adult
    Eden Haiku: wonderful!
Darren Islar: a few years ago I remember to have a good look at falling rain in the water, watching each drop individually
Storm Nordwind: I think the only things I don't play now that I did then are games that require a different physical size or ability!
Darren Islar: it felt like a whole new world
Storm Nordwind: And indoor rain games too - like watching droplets race down a window
Eden Haiku: I'm eentering the wet t-shirt contest!
    Darren Islar: great :)
Storm Nordwind is glad the rain is hiding the freshly forming perspiration on his brow
Darren Islar: you still splash water, stamping into it Storm?
    Eden Haiku: ;-)
    pab-in-the-pool-2.jpgStorm Nordwind: Doesn't everyone Darren? ;)
    Darren Islar: :)
Eden Haiku: My hair is clean, feels good!
Darren Islar: Eden's hair is getting more pale :)
Darren Islar: oh this makes a great picture yes
Eden Haiku: Yeah, all the dust has been washed in this gentle rain!
    Darren Islar: hi Zal
    --BELL--
Darren Islar: the changing light makes it more special
    Darren Islar: sorry Storm :)
    Storm Nordwind smiles
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi zal
    Eden Haiku: Nice.
Darren Islar: as much as I like this.....
Darren Islar: I need to go
Storm Nordwind: Great to have to here
Darren Islar: thanks for all the pleasure, had a good time :)
Eden Haiku: Bye darren, enjoy the day!
    Darren Islar: bye all:)
    Zaldaan Sirnah: bye darren

So how to sit in the pool? :)

    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Bleu
Zaldaan Sirnah: my meal is here! hi bleu
    Bleu Oleander: hi everyone :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi bleu
    Eden Haiku: Good morning Bleu!
Storm Nordwind: Your SL aptitude test is to see if you can sit in the pool without our help ;)
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
Eden Haiku: I,m sure she will find out!
Storm Nordwind: Camera control is everything ;)
    Zaldaan Sirnah: slaptitude!
    Eden Haiku: You are amazing!
Yakuzza Lethecus is not certain if bleu is sitting on a cursion
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Eden Haiku: You do it through cam controls Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Bleu is an alchemist - she doesn't need a cushion!
    Storm Nordwind: Yes Eden
Bleu Oleander: you didn't say I had to sit on a cusion .... just in the pool
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Eden Haiku: A true alchemist she is. She is 'L'oeuvre au bleu"!
Zaldaan Sirnah: I don't get it
Storm Nordwind: Focus your camera on the lotus in the center of the pool, rotate the view into the water, and drag around till you see what's under water - then sit on it :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: use the pylon to focus
    Yakuzza Lethecus: or the roof
Eden Haiku: In a new beautiful artistic body painting !
Zaldaan Sirnah: oh I thought that might be the case.. didn't test that though
Yakuzza Lethecus: then use the camera backwards
Yakuzza Lethecus: any upper object is helpful in camera control to come below the watersurface
Storm Nordwind: "Focus and drag backwards" is one of the most powerful techniques in SL
Storm Nordwind: We're all master magicians I see ;)
Eden Haiku: Hum... and how do you focus?
Storm Nordwind: To focus you just point the camera, hit alt and click
Yakuzza Lethecus: it´s only a real problem as soon as ur on a laptop with touchpad :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least i struggle then a lot
Storm Nordwind: When you press alt (on a PC) your cursor change to a little rectangular magnifying glass with a + in it
Storm Nordwind: Then when you click, that becomes your center of view
Bleu Oleander is feeling a little damp :)
Storm Nordwind: If you hold the click and then move your mouse, using ctrl and shift to orbit and pan when you need, you can see almost anywhere
Zaldaan Sirnah: How are you today?
    --BELL--
Storm Nordwind: Well Zal... beyond the obvious answer of "wet" I'm fine thank you - can't speak for the others! ;)

Bleu has wonderful news. The Art exhibition continues to be an ever increasing roaring success.

Bleu Oleander: found a few more photographers for our exhibition ...
Bleu Oleander: Mick installed one last night
Storm Nordwind: Oh good!! Do we need more space Bleu?
Bleu Oleander: and Wol said she would
    Bleu Oleander: not yet ...
Bleu Oleander: Yaku is working on his .....
Storm Nordwind: I'll make them name tags in my favorite font :)
    Bleu Oleander: ty!
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am working on what ? :)
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
Eden Haiku: Yaku, you are working on a photo? Great!
Bleu Oleander: didn't you say you were doing an all black one Yaku ...?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: ah, right :)
    Bleu Oleander: I thought so
Yakuzza Lethecus: i need an animation in which i sink into the well
Storm Nordwind: Do we have your persuasive skills to thank for their participation Bleu?
Eden Haiku: An all balck one, gee, already into conceptual art Yaku, that is fantastic!
    Bleu Oleander: of course :)
    Storm Nordwind: he he
    Yakuzza Lethecus wants to hide
Bleu Oleander: can't hide Yaku .....
Eden Haiku: sees Yaku blushing through her tiny screen...
Eden Haiku: I guess Yaku is writing an artist's journal: I saw his type animation and no text showed up in the chat window ;)
Storm Nordwind already has the three new name tags written, uploaded and ready to install :)
Eden Haiku: Wow! Will have to visit soon.
Eden Haiku: Can't wait to see Yaku's all black. Might become as famous as Rauschenberg all white ;)
Storm Nordwind: Yaku will become a cult figure, I suspect!
    Bleu Oleander: yes!!
Eden Haiku: Isn't he already ;))?
Yakuzza Lethecus want´s to hide further
    Eden Haiku: chuckles
    Storm Nordwind: Touché Eden!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Eden Haiku: ((((Yaku))))
Storm Nordwind: Well our conversation this morning has not been necessarily spiritually insightful but it's been a lot of fun! :)
    Bleu Oleander: yes
Eden Haiku: Good thing with being on laptop, viewer 1 doesn't seem to crash here. So I will go visit the photo exhibit soon.
    Bleu Oleander: oh good Eden
Eden Haiku: Yes, thanks you Storm, it was a lot of fun!
Storm Nordwind: I will too, to install Mick's tag
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care everyone
    --BELL--
    Eden Haiku: Take care.
Bleu Oleander: bye everyone .... have fun today!
    Storm Nordwind waves
Zaldaan Sirnah: Last time I was TP'ed so I did not learn the way to walk there
Eden Haiku: BYe ' yes have a great day all!
Storm Nordwind: Then follow me Zal

We go to the dome, which awaits us in the moonlight...
