The Guardian for this meeting was Adams Rubble. The comments are by Adams Rubble.

In this session we discussed the recent "movement" in Play as Being and then moved to appearacne and existence and ideas.

Adams Rubble: Hello Mr. Lethecus :)
    --BELL--
    Yakuzza Lethecus: welcome madam :)
Adams Rubble: Wie geht es Ihnen?
Yakuzza Lethecus: Es geht mir sehr gut und wie geht es Ihnen ?
Adams Rubble: Es geht mir sehr gut auch
Adams Rubble: Did I get that right?
Yakuzza Lethecus: Haben sie ein besonderes Thema vorbereitet für die heutige PaB Sitzung ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, you had it very well so far :)
Adams Rubble: no not this one anyway
Adams Rubble: Hello Ms. Larnia :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi ssl :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: what a lovely dress Adams
Adams Rubble: It seems to ahve been an interesting week in PaB from the little I read (giggles)
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes! Very dynamic, I love it :)
Adams Rubble: thank you, Sharon. I just bought it yesterday
Adams Rubble: Hello Ms. Madrigal :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: We have a famous cooking show in germany when the moderator says ,,interesting" it´s the codeword that he doesn´t like it :P
SophiaSharon Larnia: its got that something that others don't :))
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Friends :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Eliza
Yakuzza Lethecus: *just my 2 cents* :D
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza
    Adams Rubble: hehe.Yak
SophiaSharon Larnia: omg your dress is lovely too Eliza
Adams Rubble: I did not mean it that way Yak
Eliza Madrigal: Oh... Adams tre chic
SophiaSharon Larnia: oh Yak! Well! I promised thats not my code word
    Adams Rubble: Hello Mr. Atlantis
Eliza Madrigal: Thank you Sharon :) Paradise gave me a wonderful link...
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Arch
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Arch :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks Eliza
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least arch can tell us how comfortable ur dress is, adams :)
Adams Rubble: What I meantis there has been movement in PaB this week
SophiaSharon Larnia: I may change my clothes one of the days, I haven't felt like it
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey arch :)
Archmage Atlantis: so much for a graceful entry
    Adams Rubble: hehe Yak
Eliza Madrigal: I love the way you dress Sharon... funky :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ha!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes movement Adams...
    Archmage Atlantis: Hi Eliza
    Archmage Atlantis: Hi Yku
Archmage Atlantis: Let me see if my fingers are working.....otherwise hello all
Eliza Madrigal: I'd love to hear more Adams... about what you notice...
Yakuzza Lethecus: isn´t the grasping for external beauty a false virtue ?
Adams Rubble: Not sure anyone thinks of it as a virtue Yak
Yakuzza Lethecus: but it´s something we are grasping for
    Adams Rubble: Just an appearance
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, and we think and judge on terms of beauty
Adams Rubble: I am an Art Historian, what bdo you expect (giggles)
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Adams Rubble: In answer to Eliza's question of me....
Adams Rubble: I have been seeing excitement and people experimenting
Adams Rubble: I myself am a little bewildered yet :)
Archmage Atlantis: Beqauty is in all......it is the grasping that is the issue
    Eliza Madrigal: bewildered? :)
Adams Rubble: yes about the question of existence and appearance
Eliza Madrigal: It IS a funny question
Eliza Madrigal: I feel like for all we've discussed, all the terms and explorations are 'new' ... that same sense of "What?" "Let me read that again.."
SophiaSharon Larnia: I do feel something turnd on its head reading that
    SophiaSharon Larnia: turned*
Adams Rubble: maybe I am ddoing the wrong experiments (giggles)
Adams Rubble: If it weere just appearance, why am I stuck in New Jersey?
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Adams Rubble: why not tomorrow in Delhi?
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: (not that there is annything worng with NJ)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I feel that sense too
Eliza Madrigal: maybe thoseare good questions to ask, Adams... why not...
SophiaSharon Larnia: i like parts of NJ hahaha
Eliza Madrigal: our 'place' seems a given... maybe it isn't
Adams Rubble: of course in SL we are free to go aanywhere at the drop of a hat
Adams Rubble: or be beautiful or ugly or anything we wnat to be
Eliza Madrigal: Pema was saying yesterday that he realized he may never see the place he is visiting now, again... but that really that is always the same...
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sighs
Eliza Madrigal: It is never the same place... we bring so much to it...
SophiaSharon Larnia: i look around me at this moment, and can say the same thing
    SophiaSharon Larnia: about herenow
Adams Rubble: yes, like ourselves, much changes and much stays the same
Eliza Madrigal: I can write the same word "Appreciation" but it has different dimensions now than it did a year ago...
Adams Rubble: It has been interesting thinking about the world around us changing every moment
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Eliza Madrigal: yes, have been dwelling on that as well
Adams Rubble has been hearing the words "appearance" and "existence" everywhere lately
Adams Rubble: sorry about the "interesting" yak :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: lol
Adams Rubble: The changing every moment applies especially to other people in our lives
SophiaSharon Larnia: i have been thinking lightly on the difference between appearance and existance, lossely, really want to get into it more 'heavily' haha
    SophiaSharon Larnia: loosely*
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Bruce :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Adams Rubble: Hello Mr. Mowbray :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bruce
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bruce :)
Bruce Mowbray: whew -- not tripping too lightly this morning, I'm afraid.
    Bruce Mowbray: Good day, everyone.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :D
Eliza Madrigal: in a way it seems that going 'heavily' into appearance... is when the idea of 'existence' begins to open up... to be questionable?
SophiaSharon Larnia: or to see through the heaviness
Eliza Madrigal: I keep being reminded also of the Kira question of "What else is true?"
Adams Rubble: has anyone been playing with the idea "What if we do not exist?"
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: as an idea, Adams, yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: not more than conceptualizations
Eliza Madrigal: that question's called going for the throat heheh
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ha!
Adams Rubble: would you care to elaborate Sharon?
    Adams Rubble: hehe Eliza
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm still climbing back on the horse, so to speak
SophiaSharon Larnia: if I was even on it in the first place
    SophiaSharon Larnia: as if*
Adams Rubble: :) I like that analogy
    Eliza Madrigal: if
    Eliza Madrigal: big word
SophiaSharon Larnia: im bear of little brain big words bother me
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
Eliza Madrigal: just a simple, small town girl...
SophiaSharon Larnia: it sounds like a put down at first, just saying i think it is much more simple than we make it out to be
Adams Rubble: there is a nice exxample of perceived existence
SophiaSharon Larnia: get wrapped up in the fractual complexities and go oooh ahhh
SophiaSharon Larnia: the light the colors
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles
Adams Rubble: the idea there is a "small towwn America"
Adams Rubble: people defend that existence
    SophiaSharon Larnia: indeed
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh, indeed
Adams Rubble: the appearance Sophia :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
    Adams Rubble: wb Arch
    SophiaSharon Larnia: wb Arch
Bruce Mowbray: Good morning, Arch. Good to see you again.
    --BELL--
Eliza Madrigal: So to question existence... assumptions... one has to have some sense of making it/them...
Eliza Madrigal: so there seems a kind of 'responsibility' almost...
SophiaSharon Larnia: was just thinbking of a game I could play today, how long can I observe 'this' without thinking about it, just let it filter in
Adams Rubble: It is easier to see the mistake of making assumptions into existence than to question the existence of the ground beneath of feet even knowing it is a piece of stuff flying through space
    Adams Rubble: yes Eliza?
SophiaSharon Larnia: a PaB thing, I know, just coming at it from a different side
    Eliza Madrigal: hm, yes both...
Eliza Madrigal: I guess I was just considering (not to bring too many things in at once) 'starting at the end'....
Eliza Madrigal: "beginning and ending right here"
Eliza Madrigal: and the openness in that.... I experienced this visiting family last week...
Eliza Madrigal: that a mindset of wanting 'others' to see something or hear something or, or, or... is unhelpful
Adams Rubble: Sorry I should have said yes Sharon
SophiaSharon Larnia: :) np was listening
Eliza Madrigal: It really is in my hands, how I respond
    Eliza Madrigal: 'being' the way
SophiaSharon Larnia: we want to share what we see
SophiaSharon Larnia: to see beauty in it, and want others to see that beauty too
Eliza Madrigal: yes, but quite a difference between wanting to share and making that dependent on whether another responds then...
    Eliza Madrigal: or even, ever
Eliza Madrigal: we can share out of our own abundance
    Eliza Madrigal: letting go
SophiaSharon Larnia: hard not to feel a sense of loss about that
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Adams Rubble: Our families, friends and acquaintances may not see that we and the world are changing every minute
Eliza Madrigal: there is a little sadness in it sometimes
Adams Rubble: easier to just see us as oddballs
    SophiaSharon Larnia: nods
SophiaSharon Larnia: this angle is a little hard for me
Eliza Madrigal: I think your game sounds a little like Bruce's 'gentle distance', Sharon
    Eliza Madrigal: nice
Adams Rubble: that's where the unconditional love comes in :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: by feeling loss, is that implyg that this is better
SophiaSharon Larnia: and by saying that, am i saying i am
SophiaSharon Larnia: i know i went offtrack here, just babbling
Eliza Madrigal: not at all :)
Adams Rubble: no, we are just circling (giggles)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :D
Adams Rubble: like cowboys herding ideas
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yeehaw
    Adams Rubble: gidyup
Eliza Madrigal: one does wonder if its better... I think 'better' only in the sense that it is how it is anyway and there is relief in accepting that...
    Eliza Madrigal: enjoying it even
Eliza Madrigal: seeing the potential freedom
    Adams Rubble: and cowgirls
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes seeing 'how it is' does bring a lot of sorrow, to me, in a way
    Eliza Madrigal: Howdy Bert
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Bertram :)
Adams Rubble: Hello Mr. Jacobus :)
Bruce Mowbray listens intently -- no preference for or against "babbling" Good day, Bert.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: but, thats 'thinking' about it, not observing :)
Adams Rubble: observing ourselves thinking about it?
SophiaSharon Larnia: (the emotional part of it)
Eliza Madrigal: oberving might be turning it over... like a stone in one's hand....
SophiaSharon Larnia: ah yes adams haha
Adams Rubble: watching the ideas being coralled
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ohy
    Bruce Mowbray: . . . like unbridled stallions . .
    SophiaSharon Larnia: i see that
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: and then the ideas just go "pffft" and fly away
Adams Rubble: left with the appearcne
SophiaSharon Larnia: i was seeing a corall in a big huge feild, and the fence around the horses is a splitrail fence, and wondering what the fence was really made of, the constructs, social conditioning etc etc. ha.
    Adams Rubble: appearance
    Bruce Mowbray: There's a sliver of a "place" - -
    Bruce Mowbray: a mind-space...
Bruce Mowbray: that allows "mere appearance" to Be without an "observer.
SophiaSharon Larnia: also hearing the rush and boom boom of horses hoves
Bruce Mowbray: There's the field where imagination's stallions roam unbridled.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes bruce?
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm
Bruce Mowbray: BUT -- bring in the "observer" and her/his split-rail fences, and pffft -
    Adams Rubble: :)
Bruce Mowbray: the horses become somethe else entirely.
Bruce Mowbray: Heaven and earth as set apart.
    Bruce Mowbray: are.
    Bruce Mowbray: Pema's second chapter.
Eliza Madrigal: perhaps misty pauses can loosen the stickiness of the sealed envelopes of perception...
Bertram Jacobus: but from an enlightened view - all one ?
    Bruce Mowbray: ?Big Mind"?
SophiaSharon Larnia: ive been steaming this envelope so long its soggy (giggles)
    Eliza Madrigal: heheheh
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
    Adams Rubble: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: im kidding :)
    Eliza Madrigal: soggy mind
    Eliza Madrigal gets on boots
Bertram Jacobus: how ever one calls it ( @ "Big Mind") ...
    Adams Rubble: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm thinking about what you said Bruce :)
Eliza Madrigal: sloshing through.. tripping over aligators....
    SophiaSharon Larnia: eek
Adams Rubble: we try to make the world in our own image
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Bertram Jacobus smiles ... giggle ...
Bruce Mowbray: we imagine that identity and security will somehow serve us.
Bertram Jacobus: hey arch ! :-)
Eliza Madrigal: wb Arch.. connection troubles today huh?
    Bruce Mowbray: WB, Arch.
SophiaSharon Larnia: unbridled horses are scary things tho, once they break through the fence
    Adams Rubble: wb Arch
    Eliza Madrigal: indeed Sharon
    Bruce Mowbray: wb, Koya M.
Adams Rubble: their appearance is awesome
    Eliza Madrigal: fearsome
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes !
Adams Rubble: like the thinderstorm Bruce mentioned last night
Bertram Jacobus: btw : where is blubb bruce (!?)
Archmage Atlantis: There is a thunderstorm happening in this world also
    Bruce Mowbray: still sleeping.
    Eliza Madrigal: fish sleep? heheh
Bertram Jacobus: ah okay . good to hear ... :-)
Bruce Mowbray: I'll see if he wants to join us. . .
Eliza Madrigal: or does he just appear to be a fish?
SophiaSharon Larnia: hope it holds off here, I'm kind of worn out from the energy of the recent storms here in pa
Bertram Jacobus: only one arch ? and if so : what kind of a storm is it ? :-)
Eliza Madrigal: I'd like for it to storm... lately it constantly threatens but rarely follows through...
Bertram Jacobus: hy blub ! - sry - wrote your name wrongly before ... ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: I think Arch might have been hinting that his thunderstorm was giving him connection issues. . . continues to appear and disappear. . . there he is again.
    SophiaSharon Larnia: wb Arch :D
    Bruce Mowbray: wb, Arch.
    Eliza Madrigal: Flash... ahhh
Eliza Madrigal: bye for now everyone, thank you for an interesting session
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Eliza!
Bruce Mowbray: Actually, I must disappear (here, anyway).
    Adams Rubble: bye Eliza
Archmage Atlantis: No, there is a thunderstorm in SL now
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye eliza
Bertram Jacobus: bye eliza have a nice time ! *wave*
Bruce Mowbray: May all have a fine Sunday.
    Archmage Atlantis: Not by me
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'm going to go too
    Adams Rubble: you too Bruce
    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Bruce
    SophiaSharon Larnia: have fun! :)
    Bertram Jacobus: bye sharon ...
Adams Rubble: yes, time for all of to go now :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
    Bertram Jacobus: and bruce ...
Bertram Jacobus: and adams and yaku
