The Guardian for this meeting was Eliza Madrigal. The no-comments are by Eliza Madrigal. :)

    Pema Pera: hi Wester!
Pema Pera: je bent de eerste
    Pema Pera: of tweede dus
Wester Kiranov: ik zie het. hoi piet/pema
Pema Pera: heb je de kans gehad om naar het hoofdstuk te kijken?
Wester Kiranov: ja, maar ik had het gisteravond pas uit
    Pema Pera: Hi Eliza!
    Wester Kiranov: hi eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Wester, Pema :)
    Wester Kiranov: hi bleu
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Pema Pera: hi Bleu!
Bleu Oleander: hi Wester, Eliza, Pema :)
    Pema Pera: Hi Eden!
    Bleu Oleander: hi Eden :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Eden :) Hi Maxine :)
Wester Kiranov: hi eden, hi maxine
    Pema Pera: Hi Maxine
    Bleu Oleander: hi Maxine
Maxine Walden: hi, everyone, so nice to see you all
Eden Haiku: Hi Bleu. Soory I'm late, I was working on my puzzle photo. I will put one during the week end Bleu :)
    Bleu Oleander: oh ty Eden!
    Eden Haiku: Hello everyone :))
Eliza Madrigal: :) I finally have an idea, too.... so should be this weekend for me as well
Pema Pera: It's nice to see everybody drifting in, like a snow storm
Pema Pera: would anybody like to volunteer to post the session?
Eden Haiku: Hopefully no tornadoes :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
Eliza Madrigal: Okay... maybe few comments but I'm sure they won't be necessary :)
Pema Pera: thank you so much, Eliza!
Pema Pera: and hopefully our conversation will speak for itself :)
Maxine Walden: yes, thanks Eliza, :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles. yes, what need for ornamentation
Maxine Walden: Time speaking for Time
Eden Haiku: Thank you Eliza :)
Pema Pera: Eliza, I liked your notion of time as a friend, in your report!
Pema Pera: and Maxine, I enjoyed the pointillist interpretation in your write-up
    Maxine Walden: :)
Eliza Madrigal: My art project will be inspired by Maxine's report I think
Bleu Oleander: I liked that too Maxine
Pema Pera: and I wondered . . . . pointillist gives the impression of something only partly there upon further investigation
Pema Pera: do you feel that appearances are like that?
Pema Pera: or could that be just a first impression?

Maxine Walden: ah, thanks, all...yes, like the white canvas in Cezanne's pictures
Maxine Walden: appearances right now for me are open to more enrichment as we look/perceive...but also that we can 'over look' or saturate the 'canvas' with our efforts...
Maxine Walden: had a little example of that actually this week
    Eden Haiku: Yes Maxine?
Maxine Walden: I was trying to read, actually a bit about perception and time while on a ferry coming to work...
Maxine Walden: and the light was dim and I was straining my eyes/mind...
Bleu Oleander: reading about time and experiencing time feel very different to me
Maxine Walden: and then relaxing my eyes and lifting my head there before me was the most glorious sunrise, pink clouds, dappled sky, smiling in front of me it seemed as if to 'say' life your head...here is all you really need to see/perceive...

Maxine Walden: I put the book away and just enjoyed the sunrise amidst the ferry ride
Maxine Walden: SO, my efforts over-saturated, and actually dimmed the beauty available in the moment of gentle appreciation of appearances...
Bleu Oleander: reading cannot take the place of experience for me, but does enrich my experience
Maxine Walden: (typs back there: lift your head and I wrote life your head...)
Eden Haiku: So beautiful Maxine! Pink clouds connecting with pink clouds in Adam's report :)
Pema Pera: that's a beautiful description, Maxine!
    Maxine Walden: agree, bleu
Eliza Madrigal: yes... I thought of Adams report also...
Pema Pera: Yes, Eden, so nice to see those parallels
Maxine Walden: I smiled at Adams' pink clouds too, wondering if we were 'seeing' the same ones...:)
Eliza Madrigal: And of a moment this week when, through the grey clouds, there was a stripe of clear blue... a vertical stripe.... .
Pema Pera: Actual, while reading Bruce's report I thought about Adams too, the way she has dialogues on her blog between herself and her typist . . .
Eden Haiku: Corridors Eliza :) Time as a friend :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles at Eden and thinks of Shakti filled, pixelated moments....
Eden Haiku: And the tasting the presence of time in Pema's report I just read a minute ago :)
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, hadn't read Pema's report yet! brb
Wester Kiranov: The points and the pixels remind me of something that I saw yesterday
    Wester Kiranov: hi yaku
Eden Haiku: The taste of Time.
    Pema Pera: hi Yaku!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Eden Haiku: Hey Yaku :)
    Bleu Oleander: hey Yaku
Wester Kiranov: I was looking at the cat, and I saw him in separate frames, separate pictures
Wester Kiranov: and I tought: this is not the normal way time behaves
    Pema Pera: :)
    Wester Kiranov: *thought
Eden Haiku: Tell us more Wester?
Wester Kiranov: and I started wondering which of the ways of looking was real
Wester Kiranov: and I decided to drop that question too
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eden Haiku: Strawberry fields, nothing is real :)
    Pema Pera: :-)
Wester Kiranov: not much more to tell, really
Pema Pera: yes, when we search for something, we may not find it . . .
Pema Pera: because we use a narrow focus
Pema Pera: but letting ourselves be seen, we then can see more
Eliza Madrigal: Beautiful report Pema! Each moment is a doorway of awareness perhaps ... "now anything can happen"
    Pema Pera: :-)
Wester Kiranov: and when we think we've found something, the focus gets even narrower...
    Wester Kiranov: (@pema)
Eliza Madrigal: It is a funny question Wester... 'which view is real?"
Pema Pera: so yes, Eliza, that reminded me of Maxine's pointillist image
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Pema Pera: yes (@ Wester)
Eden Haiku: Saw an Agens Varda movie yesterday on TV. At the end, there is a decor of a French street. She opens the curtain pn which the street was projected, and walks in towards us...
Maxine Walden: agree, Eliza; Pema's report expresing increasing openness, and love that image of the 'radio turned off', the noise ceasing...
Pema Pera: it is so hard to put the experience of presence into words
    Eliza Madrigal: canvas...
Pema Pera: the best novellist may be the best because they know how to do that . . . .
    Bleu Oleander: painters too
    Pema Pera: yes!
Eliza Madrigal: curtains of sheer appearance... pulled back to reveal the face of a moment...
Bleu Oleander: dancers, singers on and on :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) and so on... yes
    Maxine Walden: :), yes, bleu
Eden Haiku: Had this impression once, that I could peel off the sky and see behind...
    Wester Kiranov: :)
Pema Pera: or sometimes overlapping realities. . . .
    Bleu Oleander: "Truman"
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Maxine Walden: ah...:), Eden, reminds me of Pema's report ...sort of peeling back...or shifting 'back'
Pema Pera: I enjoyed the collective poem that you presented in your report, Eden!
Eliza Madrigal: faces are doorways... like when you encounter a friend and there is this 'opening'... surprise... taking into it
Pema Pera: it read very naturally
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes!! just great, Eden. Thank you
Maxine Walden: indeed, Eden, that was wonderful
Pema Pera: even had a rhythm
Eden Haiku: Ah, yes, thanks :) Was going to say the underlining "we are one" is a very strong one for me.
Pema Pera: yes, on the level of Time and Being there are either no beings, or everything is a being -- the distinctions drop away

Eden Haiku: Once dancing in a party with Central African friends, really felt that: many of them were unknown to me, yet we danced as one. An amazing experience.

Pema Pera: nothing is especially holy, but everything is equally

    Bleu Oleander: no lines
Eliza Madrigal: when we share reports, we bring them individually, but then the individual fades and what is shared is something collaborative... more diamond like ...
Wester Kiranov: there's no difference between oneness and manyness, really
Eliza Madrigal: at least for me. I don't forget the individual, but there is a wider appreciation.. yes
Eden Haiku: Yes Pema, everything is holy, everything is just whirlwinds of energy ;)
    Pema Pera: :)
    Wester Kiranov: tornadoes of energy?
Maxine Walden: I was just thinking something similar, Eliza, Wester..:), shared appreciations...
Eliza Madrigal: thought of Bleu's cube, too...
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Pema Pera: it really is surprising how our reports often jibe
Pema Pera: like in the PaB dream circle
Eden Haiku: ;) The image of a diamond is an excellent description of the chapter and the reports as a whole Eliza :)
Maxine Walden: facets of appreciation, sparklings of presence...
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Bleu Oleander: precious
Eden Haiku: Yes, sparklings of presence Maxine, droplets of Being :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
    Maxine Walden: nods to Eden
Maxine Walden: we comprise a poem with our sharings right here
    Pema Pera: :)
Eliza Madrigal: it is true that 'presence' is a funny thing to talk about...
Eliza Madrigal: maybe the difference between 'reading' about time and time reading...
Eliza Madrigal: knowing about, vs knowing
Eden Haiku: Time is reading us. We are "on record" as would say Laurie Anderson.:))
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Maxine Walden: :) Eden

Pema Pera: what I would like us to explore in future chapters is more of the dynamic of Time
    Eden Haiku: listens
Pema Pera: we talk about "arising" of appearance
Pema Pera: and that is one way of talking
Pema Pera: but we also can talk about Time presenting (the presence of) appearance
Pema Pera: both seem to be accurate
Pema Pera: and both can be seen in the light of Being
Pema Pera: I haven't brought Being on stage yet :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Pema Pera: but Time, as Being's dynamic representative, can be seen as somehow the magician behind the curtain of this magic show
Eliza Madrigal pictures a boy in a grand living room making a stage and setting up chairs....
Pema Pera: however, starting out by saying that would be too abstract
Pema Pera: so I prefered to start very very simply and directly, experimentally

Maxine Walden: Being is always on the stage perhaps...just as the sunrise was 'always there' during my ferry ride

Eden Haiku: Pema, as you say "new age calls for new metaphors". Every time I read "presence of appearance', "prtesenting the presence of appearance" , my mind goes blank.
Pema Pera: and then what happens, Eden?
Eden Haiku: Maybe find a new word for "presence of appearance" ?
Maxine Walden: Eliza, your description of a little boy setting up a state reminds me of Alexander in Bergman's Fanny and Alexander..
Eliza Madrigal: the blank may be the canvas from which emerges... ?
Pema Pera: please make a suggestion, Eden, now or later!
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes maxine :))
Eden Haiku: Glad to know you are open to suggestions about that Pema :) Not easy to find isn'it?

Pema Pera: and yes, Eliza, space is a kind of stage for time to play on

Pema Pera: any and all suggestions are welcome, definitely!
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes finding a complimentary picture opens something up retroactively... so nice to compare notes, even when blank.
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Pema Pera: and the opposite of a great truth is often a great truth!
Maxine Walden: And it may be that each of us will have a slightly different set of metaphors, or emerging images, presences...
    Wester Kiranov: often? not always?
Eden Haiku: The problem you see, is I'm never sure to understand what you mean by 'presence of appearance" . I think I do and then, a few sentences later, it is not what I thought...
Eden Haiku: And then when I read the reports, I see what you mean :)
Wester Kiranov: (feeling inifinite regress coming up on the great truths...)
    Pema Pera: :)
Eden Haiku: Then we talk about the chapter and I lose the meaning again...
    Pema Pera: hahaha
    Pema Pera: that's good!
Pema Pera: bank to the blank slate
Eliza Madrigal: our attention darts all over the place and we're not sure what we're taking in...
Maxine Walden: maybe the dappled effect of your own canvas, Eden when tentative emergences and recessions occur...

Maxine Walden: I experience that a lot...transient seeming emergences...maybe another dappled/ pointilist emergences...nothing set in stone...
Eliza Madrigal: I'm impressed when anyone is able to pinpoint where their attention shifts or struggles...
Eliza Madrigal: this seems like nudging open a door
Eden Haiku: For a while here I thought I could hear no sound at all. Now, everything is back. Dappled effect of my own canvas it seems yes.
Pema Pera: the key seems to be to be willing to write down what happens -- without analysis -- another way of letting yourself be seen
    Pema Pera: or be read

Maxine Walden: explorers are never 'sure' what they are discovering/perceiving; if they are 'certain' it may be a delusion of clarity, with to 'possess' the newly emerging 'discovery'
    Pema Pera: *yes!
Maxine Walden: :), so allowing the dappling uncertainty may be the most creative and honest approach...
Eliza Madrigal: or sketch or show a picture ... interesting that we seem to push edges of words enough to try new things...
Eden Haiku: I noticed that before: I have a tendency to block out sounds when I'm concentrating in struggling mode. Trying to captutre "presence of appearance" versus "presenting the presence of appearance". Ah, maybe like a a zoom out?
Pema Pera: Alas, I'll have to leave a bit early today, sorry about that. Thank you all for a wonderful session, and don't let me break up the party! Looking forward to seeing you next week!
Eliza Madrigal: mm, like concentrating all the energy...
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Pema :) Have a nice weekend
    Wester Kiranov: bye pema, ty
Eden Haiku: Thank you Pema :)
    Maxine Walden: bye Pema
    Bleu Oleander: bye Pema :)
Pema Pera: so please continue :)
    Pema Pera: bye for now!
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Fef, just missed Pema, who had to leave a few minutes early!
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you though
    Bleu Oleander: hi Fef
    Maxine Walden: hi, Fef
Eden Haiku: Hi fefonz. Time is presenting us the presence of your appearance.
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
    Eden Haiku: Time
    Maxine Walden: :)
Fefonz Quan: well, this is embarrasing, i thought i am in time
Eden Haiku: Or is it only an apparition of Fefonz?
Eliza Madrigal: when I was pondering faces and expressions this week... I thought about that. We think we're taking in 'an impression' but there are so many signals at once...
    Maxine Walden: various times...
Eliza Madrigal: more space than anything perhaps
Fefonz Quan: now i realise that due to the fact we started DTS, i am in the wrong time
Wester Kiranov: you are still in time for the regular PaB session fef
Fefonz Quan: yes, indeed, but i wanted so to be in the Time session...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, well the regular session would be enriched by your attendence Fef
Wester Kiranov: you're just not in time for Time :)
Eliza Madrigal: and we can talk about time!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Maxine Walden: agree, no definitive 'right' imrpression/face/truth
Maxine Walden: ah, Fef, disappointing for you....sorry
Eden Haiku: giggles at Wester:" not in time for Time"
Fefonz Quan: not sure, there is a holiday dinner now that i should attend, and i thought postponed my attendance
Fefonz Quan: but i suppose family dinner i should attend in this case...
    Maxine Walden: other nourishing activities...
Eliza Madrigal: the way we were talking about pixellations caused me to think a bit about 'beliefs' in that context as well... atoms, universes...
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, okay Fef :) Enjoy dinner
Fefonz Quan: I look forward to read the session log
Eden Haiku: Have a nice holiday dinner Fefonz!
Eliza Madrigal: family will be happy for your skipping a beat
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Fefonz Quan: yes, it is the dinner before one day fast
Maxine Walden: maybe every aspect of our experience/perceptions, etc are pixellations...like your thought Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yom kippur
    Fefonz Quan: yep...
Eliza Madrigal: Wonderful... have always loved the idea of 'coming clean' with people once a year...
Fefonz Quan: it is like a jewish retreat :)
    Eliza Madrigal: being seen :)
Eden Haiku: Forgive yourself for missing Time session fefonz :)
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Fefonz Quan: yes, i 'll work about it Eden :) (and it was a beautiful report Eden)
    Eden Haiku: beaming ;)
Fefonz Quan: so i am going to use this day to contemplate, clean, and appreciate the presence of appearance as time
    Eden Haiku: Wonderful Fefonz!
Eliza Madrigal: :) And file a report next week ? :)
Wester Kiranov: I think I'll be going now. ty all for a lovely session
    Wester Kiranov: bye
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Wester, Thank you :)
Fefonz Quan: sure hope so eliza :)
    Bleu Oleander: bye Wester
Eden Haiku: yes, that would be nice!
Maxine Walden: I had better go too...lovely discussion.
    Fefonz Quan: Bye wester
    Eden Haiku: Bye Wester.
    Bleu Oleander: bye Maxine
Maxine Walden: bye all, see you soon.
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Maxine, thank you for so much inspiration
Eden Haiku: Bye pixellated Maxine :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: bye wester/max everyone who´s leaving
Fefonz Quan: Have a good weekend all of you,
Eliza Madrigal: You too Fef :) Namaste
    Bleu Oleander: bye Fef
Fefonz Quan: and again, apologize for the time confusion
Eden Haiku: A nice arc of a circle now that you moved on our side Eliza :)
Eliza Madrigal: no worries at all
    Fefonz Quan: _/!\_
Eliza Madrigal thinks time confusion is out of anyone's range to apologize for
