    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Stevenaia :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Sharon
    stevenaia Michinaga: quiet tonight :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: was just sitting here, really relaxing :D
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, happy to join you
SophiaSharon Larnia: thanks :) Been a busy couple of weeks, I wonder if for everyone
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, same here
SophiaSharon Larnia: got a chance to take anap this afternoon, and dreamt that i was looking for the rosetta stone
stevenaia Michinaga: I took a nap,, usually 20 minutes, had a dream but I should remember to write them down
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I tend not to dwell on interperating dreams
SophiaSharon Larnia: thats usually the case wihtme, this time I woke up and thought of the last pab session I attended where Pema talked about being seen by the stone, stuck in my mind that way
SophiaSharon Larnia: probably a good idea
stevenaia Michinaga: but they certainly are interesting
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I was there
stevenaia Michinaga: his presecne is always appriciated
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :) yes
stevenaia Michinaga: manytimes I am here and the compleity of the conversation can be over whelming (lost in the dust), yet there is a wonderful and deep simplicity with what Pema offers
SophiaSharon Larnia: the complexity doesnt leave me overwelmed, as much as it gives me so many thoughts at once its hard for me to decide what i want to type lol
    SophiaSharon Larnia: so then i don't :D
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes the simplicity is a balm

SophiaSharon Larnia: or is that what you meant hahaha
stevenaia Michinaga: there is a time to listen and learn, but other times the point of a conversation can be based on so many things that I am not aware of... I just loose the point... yes perhaps
stevenaia Michinaga: the experiement is not longer me
stevenaia Michinaga: nothing to report :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I actually dreamt that too, that someone said something like that
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
SophiaSharon Larnia: so what is next?
SophiaSharon Larnia: or is that another way to loop around
stevenaia Michinaga: I once found heightened intuition
stevenaia Michinaga: was it you who saw it coming or me who said what you saw
SophiaSharon Larnia: i cant answer that :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I guess it stuck with me... awareness
SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe it was a collaboration
    stevenaia Michinaga: and you
stevenaia Michinaga: do you ahve these sensations often?
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, but i dont talk about them much
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
    stevenaia Michinaga: thx
SophiaSharon Larnia: mainly because i dont know what is real, is it me.
stevenaia Michinaga: well if it's deja-vu or intuition, there is no explanation
    stevenaia Michinaga: it just is
SophiaSharon Larnia: theres a lot of deja-vu for me here at pab because ive been here long enough to hear the same conversations, but what I think youre speaking of has a different -ness to it
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, I didn’t think to relate it to PaB, just everyday experience
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ah yes
stevenaia Michinaga: it’s a rare occurance for me
    stevenaia Michinaga: or special
stevenaia Michinaga: more normal for you perhaps
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, like i said, im never sure if its just me who senses a thing, but I've ceased to ask long ago
SophiaSharon Larnia: several times ive been like, I should have :)
stevenaia Michinaga: should have what, asked?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: what would you have asked?
SophiaSharon Larnia: if i have a deja-vu kind of thing, ask someone if a certain situation meant something to someone
SophiaSharon Larnia: I've read this feeling has been reproduced in a lab by stimulating the brain lol
SophiaSharon Larnia: so may mean nothing
stevenaia Michinaga: interesting thought, is deja-vu a two person connection
    stevenaia Michinaga: intuition colliding
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i just try to keep an open mind and not judge myself for thinking these things, nor others for not knowing what in the world im talking about heheh
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Hana :)
    Hana Furlough: good plan, sophias
    Hana Furlough: hi stevenaia
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: easier said than done, i am my own worst critic
    Hana Furlough: me too
SophiaSharon Larnia: although this is feeling less true the last week, because im filling out job apps..eek

    stevenaia Michinaga: oo, good luck
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :D
SophiaSharon Larnia: what have you been up to Hana? something interesting I bet :)
Hana Furlough: not much lately... just lots of poems
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Hana Furlough: and trying not to read those poems like classified ads
    SophiaSharon Larnia: translating?
    Hana Furlough: yeah and annotating
Hana Furlough: can i ask you two?
Hana Furlough: if you were going to read a book about a zen master's poetry, what would you want to know?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ooooo
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, im kind of odd, i think
SophiaSharon Larnia: I'd want to know about the writer
    Hana Furlough: like a biography?
SophiaSharon Larnia: that may not help you... yes, and the setting in which the poems were written
Hana Furlough: no that is extremely helpful
SophiaSharon Larnia: poems I write in 21st century american, is literally worlds away from then
Hana Furlough: yeah in some ways : )
SophiaSharon Larnia: (ok not literally) lol
Hana Furlough: lol maybe there is a shared ambience too
SophiaSharon Larnia: although we all have commonalities such as a search for truth and love
Hana Furlough: i think there must be
    SophiaSharon Larnia: shared ambience?
Hana Furlough: yeah like a common vision
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ah yes
Hana Furlough: between poets of all times and places
SophiaSharon Larnia: I was thinking literally, like environment _shakes head_ :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: indeed
    Hana Furlough: oh that too
Hana Furlough: all of the above : )
SophiaSharon Larnia: same needs, different culture and expectations?
Hana Furlough: so what kind of job are you looking for, sophias?
Hana Furlough: yes. exactly : )
SophiaSharon Larnia: something in nursing, case management, boring :)
Hana Furlough: nah not at all
Hana Furlough: is that like being a social worker?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: sort of
    Hana Furlough: that sounds important
    Hana Furlough: and difficult
SophiaSharon Larnia: i worked in a type A environment for so long, it never fit
Hana Furlough: yeah i can relate
    Hana Furlough: it's too overwhelming
SophiaSharon Larnia: had to box myself to deal
    Hana Furlough: yes!
Hana Furlough: i know the feeling : )
Hana Furlough: so you've decided to switch jobs?
SophiaSharon Larnia: i held on for a long time because i thought is was a charnel ground kind of thing,
    Hana Furlough: i know...
SophiaSharon Larnia: lesson to be learned there
Hana Furlough: and one thinks the problem is in one's mind
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
Hana Furlough: how did you know you wanted to look for something else?
SophiaSharon Larnia: a friend told me that graveyards are not meant to be lived in
    Hana Furlough: smiles
    Hana Furlough: indeed
SophiaSharon Larnia: im still not sure what it means
Hana Furlough: but it must have resonated with you
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes indeed
Hana Furlough: it's resonating with me right now : )
SophiaSharon Larnia: i was like, right. ok
    SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs

SophiaSharon Larnia: glad to hear that
Hana Furlough: well i think it's really great that you are following your heart
Hana Furlough: ... back to the land of the living
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: it is important to get joy from what you do
stevenaia Michinaga: where ever you can find it
    Hana Furlough: definitely
Hana Furlough: what about you, stevenaia, does your job give you joy?
stevenaia Michinaga: well, every day, yes, and when I retire, will keep doing it
    Hana Furlough: wonderful
Hana Furlough: and i'm sure you make many people happy doing it
stevenaia Michinaga: and aside from that, people pay me to do it
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

SophiaSharon Larnia: I saw on a movie yesterday, that an architect must always take natural light into account when designing a building
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :) Steve
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, a very good idea
SophiaSharon Larnia: and said that the light in different places was different
stevenaia Michinaga: cave are so past melleniums ago
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hehe
    Hana Furlough: lol
Hana Furlough: i noticed that once...
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh??
Hana Furlough: the light in california is totally different from new jersey
    Hana Furlough: and so on
stevenaia Michinaga: more than on side makes better light too
SophiaSharon Larnia: sharper in California? (was just in southern cal)
    Hana Furlough: yes
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hmm
stevenaia Michinaga: and mediterranean light I am told is amazing
    Hana Furlough: it is!
Hana Furlough: the light in greece was incredible
SophiaSharon Larnia wants to go on a world light tour
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: :0
    Hana Furlough: you should!
SophiaSharon Larnia: what makes it different, the landscape?
    SophiaSharon Larnia: atmosphere...
    stevenaia Michinaga: the water
Hana Furlough: i don't know... it was very strange
    stevenaia Michinaga: the weather
    Hana Furlough: really?
    stevenaia Michinaga: the people :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: haha :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: the same sun
Hana Furlough: and yet : )
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: nothing is ever the same
    Hana Furlough: fortunately
stevenaia Michinaga: time, place moments are always different
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
