The Guardian for this meeting was Mickorod Renard.

Wol Euler: tuesday 21 september, 1pm
    Wol Euler: la la la.
Wol Euler: this may be another very quiet session, dear listener.
Wol Euler: jus' you and me so far.
    Wol Euler: buona sera qt
    Qt Core: 'sera wol
Wol Euler: how's life south of hte Alps?
Qt Core: nice today, sun and no work today ;-)
    Wol Euler: very nice.
Qt Core: and north of them ?
Wol Euler: we've had two weeks of wonderful weather, warmish and sunny (20 to 22 degrees)
Wol Euler: but it sems to be ending this weekend, according to the forecast
Qt Core: here days are over 20 quite easily, night are getting colder
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: I noticed this morning how the sunrise time and position have changed since high summer
Wol Euler: dawn used to shine directly into my kitchen window, now it's nearly at right angles to the window
Qt Core: and in past weeks sunset got quite earlier
    Qt Core: Hi Bruce
    Wol Euler: hello bruce
Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Qt and Wol.
    --BELL--
    Wol Euler: hello steve
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, steve.
    Qt Core: hi stevenaia
stevenaia Michinaga: hello, isn't this the lucid dream workshop?
Wol Euler: no, htats at the kira cafe
    Wol Euler: already going on
    stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, nods
stevenaia Michinaga: I may pop in over there
    Wol Euler: ok
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
    Qt Core: :-) have fun
    Qt Core: hi ara
    Wol Euler: hello ara
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Ara.
    arabella Ella: Hiya!
Qt Core: i've started having more (and weirder) dreams in last months, but as i don't think dreams have a lot of meaning don't go at the dream meetings or try to discover hidden meanings
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: care to tell us about them anyway?
arabella Ella: why do you think that has happened Qt?
Wol Euler: define the wierdness, at least?
Qt Core: started recognizing people (usually they are all perfect strangers)
Qt Core: just to tell the biggest change
Wol Euler: that is actually suprising in reverse to me :) Almost everyone in my dreams is somebody I know well
Wol Euler: so I'm surprised that you dream about strangers
arabella Ella: mine are often about strangers
Qt Core: they aren't strangers, only not from rl ;)
Wol Euler: oh, so you dreamed in SL?
arabella Ella: but at times the strangers are familiar somehow but5 not identifiable
Qt Core: in the dream i may even know them
    arabella Ella: exactly
Wol Euler: or you dreamed about somebody whom you don't know, except that in the dream you did?
Wol Euler: like an imaginary friend?
Qt Core: always different, and as usually there are quite few persons in my dream we can say that they are cameos
arabella Ella: so they could be friends, not friends, etc.
arabella Ella: but you get the feeling you know them somehow?
Qt Core: they may even not have a face, they are just the function/character they are playing in the dreams
    Wol Euler nods.
arabella Ella: yes same with me
    Wol Euler: a very game-like description :)
Wol Euler: though thinking of it, I've had people like that in dreams too
Wol Euler: as though the artist of the dream just sketched a pencil outline of them, whereas others were fully painted in detail
arabella Ella: yes the element of detail in dreams is weird, sometimes very specific at others very generic
Qt Core: or like in theatrical scripts, "the second soldier go to the window and get killed by a stray bullets", end of the second soldier part
    Wol Euler nods.
arabella Ella: that sounds so macabre Qt :)
Wol Euler: do you dream mostly about people or about places? where is the majority of the detail found?
    --BELL--
Qt Core: paople but just slightly more
Qt Core: but places/things are more detailed and "real"
    Wol Euler nods.
arabella Ella: are they pleasant dreams or unpleasant ones Qt?
    Qt Core: not unpleasant
arabella Ella: do you have any idea as to what causes them?
Qt Core: my opinion is that dreams just mix the "rubbish" of the daily activity of the brain
Wol Euler: I disagree with the word "rubbish", that is too negative for what I think is going on.
Qt Core: as my dream frequency and weird levels are qyuite directly connected to the activity levels of the day
arabella Ella: some ppl call that 'residue' which is the left overs of the day which impress on a conscious or sub conscious level
    Zon Quar: hi all
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Zon.
    Wol Euler: hello zon
    arabella Ella: Hiya Zon
Qt Core: it was quoted as at the moment no better word come out, residue is good
Wol Euler: I think it's rather sorting and sifting and pattern-making
Wol Euler: residue is better, yes, no negative flavour
Zon Quar: talking of dreams ?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Qt Core: i see them as the file part being moved while defragmenting the daily work area ;-)
    Wol Euler: heheheh, nice analogy.
Wol Euler: I think there's some truth in that
arabella Ella: i like the idea of defrag too
Wol Euler: because there is often truth in dreams too.
Zon Quar: in dreams mind is working with unfinihed business
    arabella Ella nods
Wol Euler: I have often dreamed of solutions to problems at work.
Qt Core: and when bigger things coems out that is the antivirus quarantine ;-)
Wol Euler: and understood things htat had puzzled me about people's relationships through dreaming about them
    Wol Euler nods to Zon
arabella Ella: the problem with dreams being useful though at least IMHO is that they are so fleeting so short and often forgotten so easily
Qt Core: the ones i awoke from as i cant stand their weirdness i'm almost thankful for not remembering them ;-)
Zon Quar: i would like to see dreams, they r like free movies
Zon Quar: but cant remeber :(
arabella Ella: I rarely remember mine
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Mick.
arabella Ella: except for the repetitive ones
    Wol Euler: hello mick
    arabella Ella: Hiya Mick
    Mickorod Renard: hiyaaa
    Qt Core: hi Mick
Wol Euler: I can always remember mine, at least for a half-hour or so. I try to write down the good ones
Mickorod Renard: has anyone claimed the log yet?
    Wol Euler: yep
    Mickorod Renard: oww
    Mickorod Renard: kk
    Zon Quar: hi, bye
    Wol Euler: :)
    Wol Euler: bye zon
    Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Zon.
    Qt Core: by...ok
arabella Ella: do you ever go back to reading what you wrote about your dreams Wol?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: it's tricky though, because I sometimes find myself remembering what I thought as I wrote it down, rahter than the dream itself
    --BELL--
Mickorod Renard: thats a good point Wol, I have heard it said that once we start putting words to our dreams we almost re create it
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Wol Euler: and the memory gets coloured by what we think about it
arabella Ella: remembering in itself is selective as it is conscious
Qt Core: sometimes when telling about dreams they got more detailed and sometimes i can't recognize what the added details are
    Wol Euler: yes!
Wol Euler: the storytelling mind fills in details that might not actually have been there
Wol Euler: in order to join over the jump-cuts that were in the dream
arabella Ella: dreams dont always make rational sense yet when relating them we make them sound rational
Qt Core: like giving faces to the unnamed second soldier
    Wol Euler: right
    arabella Ella: :)
Wol Euler: or explaining the change from place A to place B by saying "we walked"
Wol Euler: whereas in fact there was no walking at all, just a change
    Wol Euler smiles.
Qt Core: dreams are quite tolemaic, the world moves around us more than we being the ones that go around
Wol Euler laughs and claps her hands. Lovely.
    arabella Ella smiles
Wol Euler: I was thinking that there's an analogy between characters in our dreams and who they represent for us, and SL
Wol Euler: the same real person may be represented in the dream by somebody or something other than themselves, but we know that it's really them
Wol Euler: rather like I know that Fael is the same Fael whichever av is online
    arabella Ella: :)
Qt Core: how to understand that, especially if you dream unnamed/anonin people ?
Qt Core: whell, even more difficoult for known people to we choose them for a trait of their personality ?
Wol Euler: well, an example that I remembered, is that I once dreamed of a green-eyed red-haired girl, who was actually my sister's black lab dog.
Wol Euler: I saw the girl, but knew that she ws really the dog.
Qt Core: an animagus ? ;-)
    Wol Euler: maybe
arabella Ella: how sweet Wol :)
Wol Euler: or just a different avatar of the same typist
Wol Euler: if you meet my other alts, you would see them type "htat" and "hte" too.
Qt Core: how you got that ?
Wol Euler: so you would know that they were me.
Wol Euler: qt, I just knew it somehow :)
Wol Euler: I could see that she was a proper girl, with all the girly attributes :) but I knew that her essence was a dog
Qt Core: she forgot to hide the tail, got it!
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Qt Core: brb
arabella Ella: it is an intuitive feeling I guess
Wol Euler: or like solving a puzzle
Wol Euler: or discovering that something is a puzzle
Wol Euler: like finding a labyrinth design in the floor tiles of a cathedral
    arabella Ella nods
Wol Euler: wonder why storm and pema just came on now... is there a kira meeting, maybe?
    --BELL--
    arabella Ella: maybe
    Qt Core: back
    arabella Ella: wb Qt
    Wol Euler: wb
Qt Core: ty, now i'm stuck wondering why and who really was Michel Platini, one of the first recognizable people i dramed about and i'm not even a Juventus fan (but i still liked his style)
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
arabella Ella: hey he used to play for France too
Wol Euler: Freud said "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"
arabella Ella: and he helped with France's racial protests
    Wol Euler: aggers!
    Agatha Macbeth: Ello elo ello
arabella Ella: could you say why he was relevant in your dream?
Mickorod Renard: sometimes they are a good smoke
arabella Ella: Hey Ags how r u?
    Qt Core: hi Agatha
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Ags
    Agatha Macbeth: Fine thanks :)
Qt Core: well, i was somethink lile a PR manager and counsellor
Agatha Macbeth: Didn't see you sneak out Mick :p
Wol Euler: he#s been here quite a while :)
Mickorod Renard: I sneaked out earlier in case we needed a guardian here
Agatha Macbeth: I must have been in IM with someone ;-)
Wol Euler whistles and looks around.
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    Mickorod Renard: he he
Wol Euler: nice dress. I like the lace
arabella Ella: wow cool Qt if you were Platini's PR and counsellor!
    Agatha Macbeth: Thanks :))
    arabella Ella: am impressed
Agatha Macbeth: A little something I found earlier
Qt Core: it's a pity that D$ can be converted in R$ ;-)
    arabella Ella: he he
arabella Ella: would be nice Qt
arabella Ella: very sweet and demure Ags
    Agatha Macbeth: Aren't I always?
Mickorod Renard: I like that Ags, sort of victorian and modern
Wol Euler: yes, qt, our dreams of wealth would be quite handy in RL
Agatha Macbeth: Victorian and modern - I like that
arabella Ella: well ... ehrm ... normally you are more on the rocker style ... tday you remind me of the title of one of Madonna's tunes
Agatha Macbeth: Makes me think of maggie Thatcher
    Wol Euler: O.O
Mickorod Renard: makes me think of betties tea rooms
    Wol Euler: :)
    Agatha Macbeth: Good old betty
Mickorod Renard: get your buns out
    Agatha Macbeth: Not here Mick...
Agatha Macbeth: Lets find somewhere quiter
    Agatha Macbeth: +e
    Agatha Macbeth: Hello again Steve
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
    Qt Core: rehi steve
    arabella Ella: Hiya Steve
stevenaia Michinaga: the dream is over
Agatha Macbeth: The nightmare has begun
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: that's reality
Qt Core: you tricked us to sleak about dreams here too, steve ;-)
    Qt Core: sleak=speak
Agatha Macbeth: Wol crashed again :(
    arabella Ella: owwwww seems so
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Mickorod Renard: I dreampt something silly the other day
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps I shhould have stayed
    Agatha Macbeth: About buns?
Mickorod Renard: no,,in fact I am not going to say,,its too silly
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww go on
    Mickorod Renard: nope,,sorry
Agatha Macbeth: You ask him Ara :)
arabella Ella: i was gonna ask you for a dream Ags?
    Agatha Macbeth: Me?
arabella Ella: when Mick says no ... he means it
    arabella Ella: yes you
arabella Ella: got a tale to tell?
Agatha Macbeth: I never remember mine
arabella Ella: oh i meant a dream
    Bruce Mowbray: wb, Wol.
    Wol Euler: ty
    Agatha Macbeth: wb Wol :)

Mickorod Renard: Bruce was very quiet,,is he ok?
    Wol Euler: hmmmmmmm
Wol Euler: you#re right. We shuould have asked
Agatha Macbeth: Yes, you don't associate Bruce with 'quiet' normally
arabella Ella: we should yes ... a bit late now
Mickorod Renard: I sent him an im,,but he is offline now
    Agatha Macbeth: Bummer
Wol Euler: I hope he's OK
