    Maxine Walden: hi, Wol
    Wol Euler: hello maxine
Maxine Walden: how are you? been a few days since we've seen each other, maybe a week, but feels like a long time
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: busy, but I've said that before :)
Maxine Walden: ah, Wol, did you put the punch there for us?
Wol Euler: I'm off to Japan in three weeks, and have to get everything set up before then
Wol Euler: no, that belongs to Aphrodite - it was her birthday Fridy
Maxine Walden: ah, how nice! That should be wonderfully interesting, Japan.
Wol Euler: yes, I'm sure :)
Maxine Walden: ah, Aphro's birthday punch!
    Wol Euler: hello arch.
Maxine Walden: yes, have you been to Japan before?
    Maxine Walden: arch, hi!
Wol Euler: no, my first time. It's always been a dream to go there though
Wol Euler: since I was a child
Archmage Atlantis: No, bu koi live with me
Maxine Walden: wonderful to have a dream come true!
    Wol Euler smiles
    Wol Euler: hello pila
Maxine Walden: Arch, can't help but think of Icarus, looking at your wings
    Wol Euler: :)
Maxine Walden: lovely to see the wings from this angle, quite embracing
Pila Mulligan: greetings (laggy for me)
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, I do also Maxine
Maxine Walden: hi, Pila, good to see you
Archmage Atlantis: To fly to the stars, and to falll
    Wol Euler nods.
Pila Mulligan: nice to see you all
    Wol Euler: likeweise
Pila Mulligan: this seating arrangement suggests we three are supplicants before st Peter at the Pearly Gates
    Wol Euler: heheheh
    Pila Mulligan: :)
    Maxine Walden: :))
    Wol Euler: hello hokon
    Hokon Cazalet: hi =)
    Pila Mulligan: hi Hokoon
    Pila Mulligan: Hokon*
Archmage Atlantis: oh f..... does that mean I have to do the pearly gates drama again
    Maxine Walden: :))
Wol Euler: have you been here before, Hokon? I think I know your name.
Archmage Atlantis: Thought human was beyond that
    Hokon Cazalet: yup
Pila Mulligan: gets repetitious, doesn't it :)
Wol Euler: ok, good, just checking :)
    Pila Mulligan: Happy Haolwwen, btw
    Pila Mulligan: Haloween
Archmage Atlantis: Yea, you and my ...... cat
Wol Euler: hello ari, nice to see you again
    Pila Mulligan: hi Arisia
    Arisia Vita: Hi all
Maxine Walden: hi, Ari, very nice to see you!
    Wol Euler: ooooh, the Phantom!
    Arisia Vita: :)
Arisia Vita: a shy Phantom...who hides behind his mask
Archmage Atlantis: Yea, Ari....even dead....or alive....I forget which play we are doing
Arisia Vita: we are doing life, a little of both
Archmage Atlantis: oh yea, play as being, duh
    Archmage Atlantis: needs sugar doughnut
    Wol Euler: :)
    Hokon Cazalet: yummy
Wol Euler: bring me one too please?
Wol Euler: I bought two packs of biscuits for the weeknd, and ate them both on Saturday :(
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Wol Euler: and tomorrow is a holiday :(
Maxine Walden: :)), Wol, I know that feeling...ah yes, All Saints Day?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Wol Euler: public holiday here
Maxine Walden: but no biscuit shops open?
    Wol Euler: nope
Wol Euler: if I am lucky, there might be a patisserie open somewhere
Wol Euler: else it'll be yoghurt and dry crackers
Maxine Walden: ahh, sounds like some kind of healthy punishment!
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: well, I know that I shouldn't be eating a pack of biscuits a day :-/
Wol Euler: and I usually donÄt.
    Maxine Walden: but just sometimes....
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Archmage Atlantis: yogurt and dry crackers, souns tasty
Wol Euler: actually, it's not as bad as it sounds. Very tasty creamy yoghurt, and sesame-seed Wasa crackers,
Wol Euler: a luxurious kind of abstinence
    Maxine Walden: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Weened my way down from banger and mash
Pila Mulligan: apples & rasisins are nice with yogurt also
Archmage Atlantis: Still have all the same insanity
    Wol Euler nods.
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.
Maxine Walden: aware that around Halloween I can feel those exciting feelings from childhood, costumes and all, and just now during the pause, felt I was a long way from the 'drop what I have...' state
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Genetics rule, I suppose........wandering in he desert <> wandering in the dessert
    Maxine Walden: :)
    Wol Euler: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Pardon me while I change
    Maxine Walden: any PaB thoughts?
Wol Euler: I was thinking about the retreat in Halifax, and the next one there.
    Maxine Walden: yes, Wol?
Wol Euler: I could easily get used to attending retreats :
    Wol Euler: :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
Wol Euler: such a wonderful step +sideways+ out of normal life, for a while
Wol Euler: like the moving-floor things at airports
    Maxine Walden: :)
Wol Euler: you just step off and let it flow on past you
Wol Euler: watching the people go by
Wol Euler: until you're ready to get back on
    Maxine Walden: lovely image
    Maxine Walden: hi, Liza
    Liza Deischer: hi everyone :)
    Pila Mulligan: hi Liza
    Hokon Cazalet: hi =)
    Wol Euler: hello liza
    Wol Euler: wb arch
    Maxine Walden: wb, Arch
    Archmage Atlantis: ty
Archmage Atlantis: Pls, continue the conversation
Maxine Walden: maybe it seems we stopped because you came in, Arch. Not so, we seem to be in a pause...
Archmage Atlantis: In this form, patience is not my virtue
Wol Euler: it's a chance to practice Metta on yourself, perhaps :)
Maxine Walden: ah, silence can trigger impatience or discomfort
    Maxine Walden: Metta, Wol?
Hokon Cazalet: a fridn wants to show me some stuff she got, have a good day all =)
    Wol Euler: loving-kindness, compassion
Wol Euler: bye hokon, take care.
Maxine Walden: bye, Hokon, thanks for coming
    Hokon Cazalet waves
    Maxine Walden: ah, thanks, wol
Archmage Atlantis: dang, sitting across the poool .....again
    Maxine Walden: :)
Wol Euler: come and join us
Archmage Atlantis: by Pilla, or by Ari, Wol?
Wol Euler: as you wish :)
Maxine Walden: wonder if we might reflect upon our silence, or what going on for us in the silence, and after the next pause, in just a minute or so, maybe we could share about it
Wol Euler: both are nice people.
Arisia Vita: you are welcome to sit by me
Pila Mulligan: and actually Pila is about ready to take on some RL work
Archmage Atlantis: Yes, both are nice, but represent differently
Pila Mulligan and thus slips away for now -- aloha
Maxine Walden: bye, Pila, thanks for coming
Wol Euler: bye pila, take care
    Arisia Vita: bye pila
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.
Archmage Atlantis: Be healed, Pila love
Maxine Walden: seems silence can feel like a refuge or an empty place...depending on our state of mind
    Wol Euler nods.
Arisia Vita: silence and I are old friends
Wol Euler thinks of Paul Simon
Maxine Walden: 'sounds of silence', ?
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
    Arisia Vita: lovely
Archmage Atlantis: Words are only tools, perfect at what they do.....lost in what they do not do
    Maxine Walden: interesting thought, Arch
Arisia Vita: Words are the clothes meaning wears to go out in public....
    Wol Euler: :)
    Wol Euler: nicely said
    Maxine Walden: :), very nice
    Arisia Vita: welcome Liza
Wol Euler: "Language is a cracked kettle on which we beat out tunes for bears to dance to, while all the time we long to move the stars to pity." Flaubert :)
    Wol Euler: wb liza
Maxine Walden: ah, wol, interesting quote
    Wol Euler smiles.
Maxine Walden: so much longing can go on 'under' the language
    Archmage Atlantis: I remember Flaubert
Wol Euler: Liza is having ISP trouble :( Her modem keeps disconnecting.
Maxine Walden: ah, wondered what the problem was for Liza
Archmage Atlantis: Cracking the kettle is step 1.a in a programmming manual.
Archmage Atlantis: Need to attempt to go, phil so phy class
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: bye arch, learn well.
Maxine Walden: thanks for coming, Arch.
Arisia Vita: be well and happy
Wol Euler: tell us a little about what goes on under language, Maxine?
    Arisia Vita: wb Liza
Arisia Vita: take one of our hands, perhaps it will help keep you here...
    Maxine Walden: :)
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.
    Wol Euler: re-wb liza
Maxine Walden: It seems to me that we have various levels of thought and feeling at the same time, some close to verbal expression, some, often deep feelings which seem farther down from verbal expression...
Arisia Vita: I am off to find wisdom... :)
Arisia Vita: see you both later
    Arisia Vita: Hi Alfred
Arisia Vita: and bye for now
Wol Euler: bye ari, hello alf
Maxine Walden: bye Arisia, thanks for coming
    Maxine Walden: hi, Alf
Alfred Kelberry: phew... ran here from tarmel's place :)
Maxine Walden: so we may have a rich emotional life which barely comes into words
Maxine Walden: ran all the way?
Alfred Kelberry: good to see you all
    Wol Euler nods.
Alfred Kelberry: woly the crow? :)
    Wol Euler: someting like that
    Alfred Kelberry: neat
    Alfred Kelberry: *comes closer*
Wol Euler: Ari was here as the Phantom of theOpera, I thought I shold follow along
    Maxine Walden: hahah, wonderful!
Alfred Kelberry: um, i like this deep cut
    Wol Euler: :)
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
Alfred Kelberry: is it a dream's session today?
Maxine Walden: in a way it's always a dream session! But not formally
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Maxine Walden: do you have a dream you would like to share, alf?
Alfred Kelberry: i'm still uneasy about gaya the bunny killing people in her dream
Alfred Kelberry: although, i can see that in some funky japanese manga :)
Maxine Walden: can be disturbing to have violent dream images...often disguise for other things
Maxine Walden: but also that we do have violent fantasies deep down, most of us anyway
Alfred Kelberry: cute bunny with a shotgun in her hands shoting people and blood scatters all over and she's singing some nice happy song
Alfred Kelberry: ok, it was a comics depiction :)
Maxine Walden: does sound so incongruous! Did not recall all those details
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: that sounds so unlike Gaya.
    Maxine Walden: right
Alfred Kelberry: yes, i was shocked when she said that
Wol Euler: was it herself, the bunny, inthe dream?
Maxine Walden: one of the things that snags us is that we often mistake the thought/dream for something close to the deed. In early life, our thought is equated with the dream
Alfred Kelberry: maybe woly is a docile nun in her dreams :)
Maxine Walden: don't recall, Wol, do you recall, Alf?
Alfred Kelberry: um... no, i think it was her
Alfred Kelberry: i just see her as a cute bunny with a corrot
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Maxine Walden: And only when we grow some do we separate out our thoughts from the same as deeds
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Alfred Kelberry: it may not necessarily be anger, maxine?
Maxine Walden: may not be anger at all, alf. Might be something else entirely
    Alfred Kelberry: yes...
Maxine Walden: that is what is so puzzling about dreams, we cannot really take them literally
    Wol Euler nods.
Alfred Kelberry: funny visualization of emotions our brains picks up sometimes :)
Wol Euler: I can imagine that scene (bunny murdering, blood flying) being played out almost poetically, in a manga style
    Maxine Walden: hmm, yes
Alfred Kelberry: yes, wol! that's what i thought :)
Wol Euler: there was a film called "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas adn Selma Hayek, remake of "the mariachi"
    Wol Euler: exremely bloody
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, yes
Maxine Walden: I am going to need to go in a minute or so. As I will post the chatlog from another computer, could someone send me the rest of the chatlog on email? I will copy this into textedit before I have to leave this computer.
Alfred Kelberry: *imagines red water in the fountain*
    Wol Euler: sure, maxine.
    Alfred Kelberry: i can, maxine
Maxine Walden: thanks, Wol or Alf. See you soon, I hope.
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.
    Maxine Walden: bye for now
    Alfred Kelberry: bye :)
Alfred Kelberry: who did you kill in your dream, woly?
Wol Euler: there was a great scene in that film where Banderas singlehandedly takes on an entire bar full of criminals, all armed, and kills them all.
Wol Euler: It's filmed like a ballet, he strides like a toreador down the length of the bar counter, shooting left and right
Alfred Kelberry: yes, i vaguely remember it :)
    Wol Euler: quite surreal
Wol Euler: had Sam Fuller filmed that, it would have been stomach-turning.
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Alfred Kelberry: i don't know him
Wol Euler: in this case it turned out to have a strange and intense kind of beauty, quite poetic.
    Alfred Kelberry: spanish guitar :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: nabend
    Alfred Kelberry: intense and poetic
Wol Euler: he made mostly realistic war films, where people die in pain and in pieces
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good evening alf
    Wol Euler: hello yaku
    Alfred Kelberry: oi, yaku :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: which director ?
    Alfred Kelberry: *googles*
    Wol Euler: Sam Fuller
Wol Euler: I'll cut and paste you the contxt in a notecard
Alfred Kelberry: i don't think i've seen any of his movies
Wol Euler: it was just a reference that came to mind, he was the opposite of poetic when it came to violence
Alfred Kelberry: well, i prefer a poetic kind, if any
Alfred Kelberry: i don't think i've ever shot someone in a dream
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i think i did
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i dream of everything i do
    Alfred Kelberry: wow, another murderer
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: and i play violent computergames sometimes
Yakuzza Lethecus: so moving tigertanks,p4's and panthers around is kinda fun and propably something i dream about sometimes
Alfred Kelberry: *looks at woly* mmm :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: even tho that it's nothing i would think is supposed to be dreamt about
    Alfred Kelberry: yaku :)
    Wol Euler nods
Wol Euler: but what does "supposed to be" mean?
Wol Euler: we don't choose what to dream, unless we are lucid dreamers
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i think about lucid dreaming often
Yakuzza Lethecus: espcially since reading the dream workshop
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i year ago the concept was unknown to me
    Wol Euler nods.
Yakuzza Lethecus: i even dream of secondlife
    Wol Euler: of course :)
Wol Euler: all the time :)
Play as Being 15 minute bell: Thank you.
Yakuzza Lethecus: and the other night i dreamt about an avatar that was used by fox sometimes after i saw a few pictues of the anime ,,spirited away"
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: that was quite striking.
    Wol Euler: disturbing actually
Yakuzza Lethecus: did you watch all the miyazaki movies ?
    Alfred Kelberry: miya-who?
Yakuzza Lethecus: mononoke, moving castle, ,,heidi" :P
Wol Euler: never seen any of them actually
Wol Euler: a gap in my education :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: well :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119698/
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0347149/
    Wol Euler: looking ...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245429/
Alfred Kelberry: how often do you dream, yaku?
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i need to be in a secure and calm state often i don't have a ,,just dreaming" experience
Yakuzza Lethecus: but last week i dreamt one night conciously
Yakuzza Lethecus: often i just go to bed with thoughts and wake up the next morning with the same
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: then i don't have had the feeling that i dreamt of anything even tho that i might have
Alfred Kelberry: imagine recursive dreaming in a dream. that would be a nightmare :)
Wol Euler: or a film: Inception
Alfred Kelberry: could make a nice script for a movie actually
Wol Euler: highly recommended if you haven't already seen it!
Alfred Kelberry: ah, haven't seen that one yet
Alfred Kelberry: yes, it's on the list
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, i'll log out of sl. bye the both of you
Yakuzza Lethecus: btw. do you read ,,jim butcher" novels wol ?
Wol Euler: bye yaku, takae care
Alfred Kelberry: so, in a movie, you keep waking up thinking this is the real world, but it isn't... and then in the end you wake up in the first dream ending the loop :)
    Wol Euler: don't know them
    Wol Euler: who wrote it?
Yakuzza Lethecus: jim butcher is the authors :P
Alfred Kelberry: i don't read novels
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: like the dresden files
    Wol Euler: hehehe
Wol Euler: no, I'll look that up
    Yakuzza Lethecus: or codex alera
    Yakuzza Lethecus: it's fantasy
    Yakuzza Lethecus: anyway, take care
    Alfred Kelberry: auf
    Wol Euler: bye
    Wol Euler: that was fast
Alfred Kelberry: dresden is a lovely city
Wol Euler: I could wear this more often :) but not here
    Alfred Kelberry: why not?
Wol Euler: it would be distractiong
    Alfred Kelberry: it's perfectly black
    Wol Euler: um, yes
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: so, the session is over?
    Soleil8 Andel is Offline
Wol Euler: as soon as I click on the rcorder to stop it
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm, ok
Wol Euler: did you want to say somehting first? :)
Alfred Kelberry: um... for the record? :)
    Wol Euler: wel :)
    Wol Euler: as you wish
Wol Euler: there's no requirement to do so
Wol Euler: but you sounded almost disappointed
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, no
Alfred Kelberry: i should be going actually
    Wol Euler: me too
Wol Euler: goodnight alf, take care
    Alfred Kelberry: auf :)
