stevenaia Michinaga: but I may be dating myself with that movie
    Eos Amaterasu: plastic fantastic knowing
    Paradise Tennant: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: living with the spore at their size, suprised there isn;t such a place like that in SL, considering the other ungodly worlds people creat here
Eos Amaterasu is also surprised, if that's the case
Paradise Tennant: err there was the greenies sim :)
Eos Amaterasu: I have an iPhone app that lets me zoom into a cell and its structures

    Eos Amaterasu: "3D CellStain"
Eos Amaterasu: the 90 secs is like a kind of zoom into how we're holding our world
stevenaia Michinaga: I suspect we would have a new respect for things at that scale if we saw them avatar side, and assuming someone amkes them warm and fuzzy
    Eos Amaterasu: friendly Mighty Chondira
    Hokon Cazalet: hehe
    Eos Amaterasu: *Chondria

Eos Amaterasu: "that sunlight sure hits the spot"
stevenaia Michinaga: the prcess of dirt to flowers is mind boggling too

stevenaia Michinaga: hehe... bye Jude (that always works)
    Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: once they drop their guns, they are helpless
Pila Mulligan: there seemed to be a potential for diffciulty there
    Korel Laloix: Difficulty?
Pila Mulligan: Jude impressed me as someone whose play in SL is different from PaB
    iwandertoo Resident: nods
Korel Laloix: wow.. that was well put... smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: reminds me of a recent iChing reading I did... titled Diversity, seems appropriate for the change of seasons
    Korel Laloix: iChing?
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
stevenaia Michinaga: are you familair with it?
Korel Laloix: Will look that up.
    Korel Laloix: No
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps Pila can sum it up in a few sentences
    stevenaia Michinaga: hehe
Pila Mulligan: a Chinese philosophy classic, foundation of yin and yang
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Korel Laloix: Ok.. thanks.. looking it up.
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks, it's like having a conversation with your more thoughtful self
    iwandertoo Resident: ?
stevenaia Michinaga: you ask a question... and the answer (not directly) forms
Korel Laloix: That would be frightening.
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s usually not the case, Korel
stevenaia Michinaga: I should have said the answer is framed

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: My thoughts are frightening sometimes, so me in a more thoughtful state could be very frightening... grins
stevenaia Michinaga: never thought of any freightening coming from iChing, I guess it depends where you begin
Korel Laloix: I have no idea about it.
Pila Mulligan: I use it as a meditation resoure -- thought for the day king of thing
    Pila Mulligan: kind*
Korel Laloix: So it is how you focus?
Pila Mulligan: it helps -- adanhtehdi :) (is that the Cherokee word?)
    Pila Mulligan: thoughts
stevenaia Michinaga: what the words say to you, which change with the moments
stevenaia Michinaga: strange, I googled "adanhtehdi" and got a drafting service in Harrisburg, down the road from me
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Korel Laloix: It sounds like one.
Pila Mulligan: you have never used their services?
    stevenaia Michinaga: no
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Korel Laloix: anh is not in teh sylibary though.
stevenaia Michinaga: what does it mean, Pila?
Korel Laloix: but spellings are not standardized between the three bands.
Pila Mulligan: thought in Hawaiian is manao, it is a menaingful concept here -- I was trying to find the comparable word in Cherokee
Pila Mulligan: a dictionary said it was adanhtehdi
    Pila Mulligan: thoughts are multifacted
Pila Mulligan: they have many faces :)
stevenaia Michinaga: transliteration of sounds to english text can offer many results
    Pila Mulligan: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: I often thing of all the spellings of Hannhkka
    stevenaia Michinaga: *think
Korel Laloix: Tsalagi is sylibary based like Hindi, not alphabatized.
    Pila Mulligan: ahh, interesting
    Pila Mulligan: cultural patterns

    --BELL--

Korel Laloix: Ok.. think the word you looked up Pila might ahve been to think.
    Pila Mulligan: could be
Pila Mulligan: I think people draw thoughts from a common repository
    Korel Laloix: a-da-n-h-te-ha
Pila Mulligan: they get expressed in words, but they originate in images
Pila Mulligan: is that to think?
    Pila Mulligan: cool
    Korel Laloix: Yes.
    Pila Mulligan: thanks
iwandertoo Resident: if they are blind?
Pila Mulligan: I think blind people have mental images
Korel Laloix: I am learning to read and write Tsalagi, I only grew up speaking it and my mom is part Cherokee Nation and part Ketoomwa so things were not standardized.
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pila Mulligan: save the language to save the culutre, they say here
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps we should convene a cherokee language session
Korel Laloix: That could be fun.
stevenaia Michinaga: even to learn about the mythology and culture
Korel Laloix: Tsalagi culture is probaby more preserved than most First American cultures.
Korel Laloix: But I dont know that for sure.
    Pila Mulligan: the Iroquois also
    Pila Mulligan: the Haudenosaunee
Pila Mulligan: whose political organization found its way into the US Constitution
Korel Laloix: I grew up with some Potawatomi as well, so trying to learn that properly as well.
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, remarkable
Korel Laloix: Bode'wadmimwen is much smaller and stright forward I think... but there are only like a handfull of realy native speakers left.
stevenaia Michinaga: the lesson: when in doubt... listen to the unconventional voices around you
    Pila Mulligan: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: bed time for me, glad you came Korel, nice seeing you again SUSAN, PILA, OBSERVEM
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
