Pema Pera: hi Eliza and Xirana!
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Xirana, Pema!
    Pema Pera: Hi Maxine!
Xirana Oximoxi: hi Eliza, Pema and Maxine
    Eliza Madrigal: Hello Maxine :)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Pema!
    Maxine Walden: Hi, Eliza!
    Maxine Walden: hi, Xirana
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Wester :))
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Pema Pera: hi Wester!
    Wester Kiranov: hi all
    Maxine Walden: hi, Wester
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Wester
    Pema Pera: Good afternoon, Darren
    Maxine Walden: hi, Darren
    Darren Islar: hi everyone :)
    Wester Kiranov: hi darren
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi panther
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Darren :)
    Pema Pera: it's a bird! It's Yaku!
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yaku :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Wester Kiranov: hi yaku
    Xirana Oximoxi: hello Yaku:)
    Darren Islar: hi Yaku :)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Yaku
    Eliza Madrigal: (brb)
    Maxine Walden: enjoying the reports
    Pema Pera: yes, me too!
Darren Islar: sorry, I don't do loggs
    Pema Pera: thank you, Eliza!!
    Wester Kiranov: thanks
Maxine Walden: thanks so much Eliza!
Eliza Madrigal: no worries :) I do logs ;-)
    Darren Islar: :)

Pema Pera: yes, Maxine, I also enjoyed the reports. I was intrigued by the following two parallels:
Pema Pera: Adams: "I become very aware of the space I am in" and Maxine: "the sense of myself as a part of the wider world"

    Pema Pera: hi Bleu!
    Wester Kiranov: hi bleu
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning bleu
    Darren Islar: hi Bleu :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bleu :)
    Maxine Walden: :) yes...
    Bleu Oleander: hi all :)
    Maxine Walden: hi, bleu
Maxine Walden: ..trying to stop the typing motion :)

Pema Pera: it shows, in contrast, how we normally shrink our sense of presence onto ourselves, as the subject
Pema Pera: and how remarkable, that after tens of years of doing that, we can regain a bit openness so easily and quickly!
    Pema Pera: aware of space . . . of wider world . . .
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Bleu:)
Pema Pera: (the reports are on:

Xirana Oximoxi: nice picture , that Bleu has put in the reports to show us to be seen
Wester Kiranov: yes. a pity it's so easy to re-lose that openness as well...
    Bleu Oleander: ty Xirana :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: yw:)
Pema Pera: yes!! Bleu: I do wonder how you are able to create such beautiful art-as-report !!!
    Bleu Oleander blushes
    Maxine Walden: :))
Wester Kiranov: a very lovely picture, I agree
Bleu Oleander: it's what artist do ...
    Pema Pera: the good ones!
    Bleu Oleander: haha
Pema Pera likes to see Bleu Blushing more :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Pema Pera: I also enjoyed the layers of dropping in Eliza's report, ending in: Eliza: "some wonderfully accomodating Joy that isn't something 'made' or that I have to either see or feel to let go of or give away"
Bleu Oleander: yes, loved the phrase "accomodating joy"
Eliza Madrigal: thank you... sorry for lag, a few glitches here :)
Eliza Madrigal: re Bleu's picture, words are wonderful, but so much more than words, can convey
Maxine Walden: yes, Eliza, beautiful; for me your joy seemed to related to the openness and relatedness to all

Pema Pera: a very nice subject/object reversal: from "I look for joy" to "I accomodate joy" or "I let joy be, in taking me"
Eliza Madrigal: I felt very resonate with your report as well Maxine... humility
    Maxine Walden: :)
Pema Pera: yes! Maxine: " ... humbling ... more care-free ... whispers of ever deeper experiences"
Pema Pera: (if we ever need a commercial sound bite for Play as Being . . . there it is!)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) !!
    Maxine Walden: haha!
Maxine Walden: (looking for something to say and it all skitters away)
Pema Pera: backdrop: Bleu's art. Foreground: Bleu blowing her horn -- I can see the whole commercial!
    Bleu Oleander: haha
Pema Pera: Yaku speaks the lines of course, in voice
    Eliza Madrigal: :) yes
Pema Pera: Eliza hides any traces of all the organization that happened
    Eliza Madrigal: =P~
    Bleu Oleander: :)

Maxine Walden: Pema, I am feeling a nostalgia already for these Time sessions, anticipating their 'loss'; and I think you are guiding us towards Awareness in these current exercises as well of course as to appreciation for all the ways of exploring Time and Space. Guess I am trying to keep the whole picture of this year's Time sessions in mind

    Pema Pera: hi Adams!
    Maxine Walden: hi, Adams
    Wester Kiranov: hi adams
    Darren Islar: hi Adams :)
Pema Pera: well, we don't know what will replace the Time sessions . . . .
    Xirana Oximoxi: hi Adams:)
Bleu Oleander: amazing experience this past year of time
Pema Pera: it might be even more fun!
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Adams :)
    Maxine Walden: :)
Adams Dubrovna quietly waves to everyone :)
    Maxine Walden: might be...
    Bleu Oleander: hi Adams
    Pema Pera: anyone any suggestion?
    Bleu Oleander: another book?
Darren Islar: trying to keep something in mind is not exactly awareness :)
Pema Pera: not by me, Bleu, perhaps by somebody else?
Bleu Oleander: I could illustrate if someone else writes it :)
Pema Pera: I bet you could!
Pema Pera: You've already done so this year :-)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))

Maxine Walden: wonder if we could all contribute to a 'book' by way of our unique perspectives...
Pema Pera: now that's an idea
    Bleu Oleander: nice idea Maxine
Wester Kiranov: how would we unite all those perspectives?
    Bleu Oleander: Play as Being
Eliza Madrigal: they seem to unite themselves
Pema Pera: by reflecting them off each other perhaps?
    Pema Pera: Indra's net
    Pema Pera: PaB's net
Wester Kiranov: that is a nice idea too
Pema Pera: "the Dazzle of PaB" . . . .
Maxine Walden: have a topic of our mutual agreement and then bring our experiences/explorations about that 'topic' and share, read, muse about each other's contributions...

Maxine Walden: without expectation of 'closure' as much as enriching each and all's ways of exploring...

Pema Pera: yes, and perhaps different authors could write different mini-essays, rather then one person writing chapters -- one essay a week? Could be just one paragraph introducing a topic
    Bleu Oleander: "Being Talks"
    Pema Pera: !!!
    Maxine Walden: nice thought, Pema
    Maxine Walden: yes, Bleu
Wester Kiranov: What about something like: what PaB means to me in daily life, in practical things?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Pema Pera: One person could be -- how do you call that in card games -- handing out the deck each week, collecting all the essays/topics that come in and distributing one a week?

    Maxine Walden: the 'dealer'?
Pema Pera: and yes, Wester! PaBiP -- Play as Being in Practice ? :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I must go now.. bye to all and see you soon:)
    Pema Pera: bye Xirana!
Wester Kiranov: Another suggesion: PaB as practiced in relations with human, sentient and other beings?
    Bleu Oleander: bye Xirana
    Wester Kiranov: by Xirana
    Maxine Walden: bye, Xirana
    Adams Dubrovna: bye Xirana
    Pema Pera: sure!
Darren Islar: I wonder if it is not much similar with other groups, like WOK or Orginal Face
Pema Pera: Play as Being in being with beings :-)
Wester Kiranov: Being with beings - now there's a nice soundbite
Pema Pera: Being -- one's ultimate alt !
    Bleu Oleander: Alt of Being
    Wester Kiranov: :-)
Pema Pera: Ah, that's Being playing us :-)
Pema Pera: (for Japanese of course it is just Bleu's activity :-)
    Pema Pera: (l = r)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Wester Kiranov: I do think this could easily become too shattered, we need a focus

Pema Pera: well, we can see what the last chapter, Ch. 14, will evoke further . . . .

Maxine Walden: maybe I am being too simple-minded here, but wondering if the established forum here, reports of our explorations which we could all read and then in coming together such as this meeting, our musings and enrichements direct us to the next 'topic'; does that seem too formless?

    Pema Pera: we can try!
Pema Pera: and "Play as Being' just might be enough focus?
Eliza Madrigal: yes I've really come to treasure this time and feel we have a basis to continue exploring
Maxine Walden: wondering that, Pema...might be worth thinking about

Pema Pera: or "Magic of Being" ?

    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    Maxine Walden: :))
    Pema Pera: why not?
    Maxine Walden: :)
Pema Pera: if you call it, it may come -- very simple minded :-)
    Wester Kiranov: hi fef
    Bleu Oleander: hey Fef
    Pema Pera: hi Fefonz
    Adams Dubrovna: hello fefonz
    Fefonz Quan: (hi timers)
    Maxine Walden: :))
    Maxine Walden: hi, Fef
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Fef!
Eliza Madrigal: reflecting...as we joke about PaB advertising, I think what these explorations have done for me, in some part, is to expose my own constant propaganda machinery ... when that happens then one can take it lightly, it becomes a joke, but before that not so much. That openness does seem magical :)
Darren Islar: I need to go, probably nobody is coming, but have a little meditation to do :)
Darren Islar: see you all :)
    Adams Dubrovna: bye darren
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Darren :)
    Wester Kiranov: bye darren
    Maxine Walden: bye Darren
    Maxine Walden: agree, Eliza
    Pema Pera: bye Darren!
Bleu Oleander: having the underlying structure of Pema's book was important
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Bleu Oleander: made it different than a PaB session in some ways
Adams Dubrovna: The book made it a journey
Maxine Walden: a kind of organizing container or guide perhaps?
Pema Pera: thank you, Bleu -- but as Maxine said, we now have the momentum and the format, so perhaps we can let go of the trigger
    Maxine Walden: yes, Adams
    Bleu Oleander: exactly Adams
    Pema Pera: and do-it-ourselves
Maxine Walden: trust our own DYI capacities?
    Maxine Walden: DIY (:))
    Pema Pera: DJ ?
    Fefonz Quan: Do Your Investigation
Bleu Oleander: DYI ... do yourself in .... hehe
Maxine Walden: (when I first went to London they had just got hold of the do it yourself concept and so DIY was big...
    Pema Pera: hahaha, Bleu!
    Eliza Madrigal laughs
Pema Pera: Maxine remembers her previous lives . . .
    Maxine Walden: :)))
Maxine Walden: yes, many previious lives !!!!
Eliza Madrigal: Maxine as Bob Villa
Bleu Oleander: dogs are watching me laughing at my computer .... funny to think of that point of view
Maxine Walden: can't you see it: hammer in hand, lovely New England accent
Eliza Madrigal giggles, yes I can sort of actually!
Pema Pera: ooo, sounds communist to me :)
    Maxine Walden: !!
    Pema Pera: Maxine's Silver Hammer
Eliza Madrigal: I'd hammer in the morning...
Pema Pera: (^_^) Maxine seems to hammer all day!
Maxine Walden: :)) just watching the hammer being passed around....
Pema Pera trying to NOT look like a nail

Bleu Oleander: when you only have a hammer, EVERYTHING looks like a nail
Maxine Walden: ouch, not to feel pounded, Pema?
Maxine Walden: agree, Bleu, narrows the focus
Eliza Madrigal: taking this too far, but considering s/o reveral, maybe we're often afraid that if we aren't the hammer everything else is
    Pema Pera: subject/object reversal .. . . .
    Pema Pera: snap
    Eliza Madrigal: :)) yes
    Pema Pera: yes!!
    Maxine Walden: :)), yes
Pema Pera: nailing down the hammer?

Bleu Oleander: switch that hammer to a paint brush ...

    Maxine Walden: :))
    Pema Pera: there you go!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Maxine Walden: wonderful evolutions here...
Pema Pera: hammering with a broad brush == splashing :-)
    Bleu Oleander: haha
Fefonz Quan: some times you are the hammer, some times you are the nail
Maxine Walden: new art style...I can just see it coming...
    Bleu Oleander: abstract expressionism
Wester Kiranov: letting the world paint us
Fefonz Quan: (thought that's what maxine pointed at)
Pema Pera: the universal right to bear brushes
    Maxine Walden: !!
Eliza Madrigal: see, people are writing essays already
    Fefonz Quan: light grizzli brushes?
    Bleu Oleander: like that!
Maxine Walden: thinking the same, Eliza
Pema Pera: we need an amendment to the constitution
Pema Pera: hahaha, in Japan Bleu brushes!
    Wester Kiranov: :-D
    Bleu Oleander: hahaha!
Wester Kiranov: except she's Breu, then
    Bleu Oleander: :))
Pema Pera: Breu praying as Being
    Adams Dubrovna: :)
    Maxine Walden: :))
    Bleu Oleander: :))
Pema Pera: that will be the day . . .
    Maxine Walden: :))

Maxine Walden: it feels sometimes that our playfulness, just as now, sort of recalibrates our thinking together, maybe even our inter-weaving tapestry together...
Maxine Walden: brings us both closer, but also more intrigued by each others' different thoughts
    Maxine Walden: (just a musing)
Wester Kiranov: that's a nice musing

    Pema Pera: yes, a mysteriously self-healing quality of play . . .
    Maxine Walden: yes!

Pema Pera: being brushed in play doesn't leave scars the way it does in more serious arguments, somehow
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmmm
    Maxine Walden: wonderful thought...
    Eliza Madrigal: YES
    Bleu Oleander: truth in jest?
    Pema Pera: !!
    Maxine Walden: yes!
    Wester Kiranov: where else?
Pema Pera: actually, a jester is what is needed in a court to provide openings!
Maxine Walden: smooths the edges of our differences which can at times feel more jagged
    Bleu Oleander nominates Yaku
    Pema Pera: as court jester?
Eliza Madrigal: '...and a jester unemployed, is nobody's fool...'
Wester Kiranov: and it stops us from taking ourselves too seriously
    Pema Pera: would work!
    Bleu Oleander: pavilion jester :)
    Maxine Walden: hahaha, Eliza!
    Eliza Madrigal: yes yes
Eliza Madrigal thinks of Eos saying 'you're a big joke, but don't take it personally'
    Pema Pera: pavilion caberetier
    Pema Pera: hehehe, Eliza!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Fefonz Quan nods to Eliza, yes...
Adams Dubrovna: I must go. bye everyone :)
    Fefonz Quan: bye adams
    Bleu Oleander: bye Adams
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Adams :)
    Pema Pera: bye Adams!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye all leavers
Maxine Walden: and I as well
Wester Kiranov: i see it's getting late. bye as well
    Pema Pera: bye Maxine!
    Pema Pera: and bye Wester
Maxine Walden: bye all, nice discussion
    Bleu Oleander: bye Maxine :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Maxine and Wester :)
    Fefonz Quan: leavers and beliveres?
Pema Pera: I guess "getting late" is universal . . .
    Eliza Madrigal: thanks so much
    Fefonz Quan: Bye Maxine
Pema Pera: getting later sure is

    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Fef :)
Fefonz Quan: I should go too, have a good weekend everybody
    Pema Pera: bye Fef!
    Pema Pera: hi Arch!
    Eliza Madrigal: u2
    Fefonz Quan: (waves)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye fef
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey arch
