Archmage Atlantis: In my NY trip in HS, we walked down the spirils of tre Guigenhiem.....sometimes I wonder if I made that up in my head
Paradise Tennant: smiles at luci :)
    Lucinda Lavender: lovely dress Eliza:)
stevenaia Michinaga: so much better than walking up it, Arch
Eliza Madrigal: hugs, pleasant sleep when you get there
Paradise Tennant: smiles a big smile at arch have the thought too sometimes wonder if what I remember really happend or is just a mismemory
Lucinda Lavender: is it a place you could roll something down?
Archmage Atlantis: I wonder as I wander
    Paradise Tennant: hiya rhi
    Lucinda Lavender: hi Rhi
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hiya, Paradise
    stevenaia Michinaga: Hi Rhi, gtsy
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi lucinda
Archmage Atlantis: out under the sky
Rhiannon Dragoone: hi steve, gtsy too
Archmage Atlantis: Sis of the birds
    Rhiannon Dragoone: hi Arch! bro.
Archmage Atlantis: Do they hear you yet?
Rhiannon Dragoone: The birds? Always; two pea fowl have shown up at my place
Lucinda Lavender: are the pea fowl looking for water?
Paradise Tennant: what exactly are pea fowl
Rhiannon Dragoone: peacocks and pea hens
    Paradise Tennant: ahh ok
Lucinda Lavender: smaller than a chicken with spotted black and white feathers
Archmage Atlantis: 4 live in parrokeets, more song birds lately, must be taking the flywaysy north
Rhiannon Dragoone: Lucinda, not sure what they're looking for; used to have some, but they moved on or were eaten by coyotes or something
Rhiannon Dragoone: Now, out of the blue, two have shown up
Lucinda Lavender: ah...I was thinking of guinea hens
Lucinda Lavender: not the same I suppose
Rhiannon Dragoone: no, not even close.
Archmage Atlantis: Same genus, different ideas
Lucinda Lavender: in the backyard I had as akid there was a stream and guinea hens came there
    --BELL--
Lucinda Lavender: what would be an interesting topic tonight I am wondering...
Paradise Tennant: smiles how about male and female energies .. how different are they how much the same
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmmm...smiles, like discussing color
Paradise Tennant: smiles we could start with magenta :)
    Paradise Tennant: luci ?
    Lucinda Lavender: ah...
stevenaia Michinaga: wonders if I see Magenta, if you se magenta
stevenaia Michinaga: somethign we will never know, like m/f energy
Rhiannon Dragoone: Male and female energies are complementaryh, and we all have both
Lucinda Lavender: well in the color work I study Red is the area of Will and Power and when it is blended with sunlight and becomes magenta it is transforming into another truth
    Paradise Tennant: complementary :)
Lucinda Lavender: I like the sound of the word Magenta
Rhiannon Dragoone: It's a nice name, both for a person and a color
Lucinda Lavender: it sounds like a thing you meditate with...forgetting the word
Paradise Tennant: would make a great name :) would get shortened to mags :)
stevenaia Michinaga: and seeing the color, I am still amased we still can;t "get into another's head" and see what they see
    Paradise Tennant: mantra
Roger Ormenthal: Red associated with will is consistent with red associated with the third chakra. Exposure to different colors can stimulate different chakras and create feelings and thoughts associated with those chakras.
Paradise Tennant: smiles at roger yes :)
Lucinda Lavender: I am in the process of dreating a body prayer...that will bring color and the chakras into it
Lucinda Lavender: it is a plan any way
Paradise Tennant: smiles can you say more luci :) how do you create a body prayer
Lucinda Lavender: a spiraling of chakras/color
Roger Ormenthal: That is very beautiful Lucinda.
Rhiannon Dragoone: Steve, well not only that, but what I call magenta, and you call magenta may refer to the same color, but if I saw it from your eyes, it might look green to me

    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: nods, exactly, a strange situation for humanity, yet we communicate fine wth those anomolies
    stevenaia Michinaga: oops
Rhiannon Dragoone: Well, our neurology picks up the same wavelengths
Roger Ormenthal: The different feelings created by different musical harmonies are in part due to selective stimulation of different chakras. Thus if your body prayer incorporated sound, music, tonalities, or chanting, that might further enhance the effects you are seeking Lucinda. But I'm sure you already know that.
Paradise Tennant: smiles likes the sound of spiraling chakras and colours and wavelengths and chanting :)
Lucinda Lavender: I think that the energy centers need our attention/awareness ...an I like to sing so thanks for that idea
stevenaia Michinaga: at least w/ M/F energies we don;t expect that they are the same, and perhaps hope they are very different
    Paradise Tennant: but complemtary :))
    stevenaia Michinaga: (hopefully)
Lucinda Lavender: I have been looking at the masculine and femenine forms in sculpture
Lucinda Lavender: thinking too about the energies
Paradise Tennant: smiles we have several rodin scuptures where I work one is very very male so much so .. we have to move him .. when we hold investor meetings .. we have had complaints do not understand how either maleness or femaleness can be offensive
Lucinda Lavender: in the work I study...Red located as achakra point for several places in the body
Paradise Tennant: smiles enjoying the streams of thought here colour gender energy .. chakras body energy :)
Lucinda Lavender: and fro the principle of Dreaming it is the womb...Regeneration is the breasts, etc
Lucinda Lavender: So I have a list of 29 principles and 29 places in the body and 29 colors and 29 principles
Roger Ormenthal: The colors of each chakra are not fixed, but have a specific range they usually fall in. Such as yellow for intellect at the 6th chakra. The second chakra can be very red during sexual activity. I'm really not an expert on all of the colors and association, but I know a couple of them.
    stevenaia Michinaga: brb
    Paradise Tennant: 156
    Paradise Tennant: sorry typo 116
Paradise Tennant: so a dynamic between principle place colour
Lucinda Lavender: yes...I am working with a system that is not as well known Roger...but it lookslike a long prayer
Lucinda Lavender: to do in the morning and evening
Lucinda Lavender: to allow the chakras to speak
Paradise Tennant: is this made of sand luci a drawing
Lucinda Lavender: I may have to draw it first...was thinking of it that way on butcher paper
Lucinda Lavender: looking to the heart first and sparalling outward
    Lucinda Lavender: spiralling
    Lucinda Lavender: spiralling
    Lucinda Lavender: lagging
    Paradise Tennant: powerful picture
Lucinda Lavender: the 29 placements on the body ..yes
Paradise Tennant: we are wrapped in colour :)
Roger Ormenthal: All forms of human expression with intent have profound effects in the world / on people, regardless of the form. And if the form isresonant and in harmony with thoughts, words, sound, and image, so much the better. All positive human creations, especially with healing intent, may be regarded as prayer / affirmation / invocation. We all have profound power to create on the gross and subtle.
Lucinda Lavender: l think the spiral is a movement that is like the stars
Paradise Tennant: sometimes when I meditate I have seen auras .. bright splashes of red .. and purple not consistently but sometimes
    Lucinda Lavender: nicly put Roger

    --BELL--

    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Lucinda Lavender: I wonder...what general energetic things might come with the red auras
Rhiannon Dragoone: Red is a way to generate anger, aggression, and that can be directed
    Roger Ormenthal: passion?
    Paradise Tennant: heat
Lucinda Lavender: for me I would look for Dreaming Regeneration, and a few others
Paradise Tennant: wonders what happens to our chakras in dreams
Roger Ormenthal: What is Dreaming Regeneration Lucinda? - And do you work with lucid dreaming?
Lucinda Lavender: so in a pause we could imagine the red magenta energy and listen to it...but I have to get my power cord:)
Lucinda Lavender: Those principles I was speaking of earlier
    Paradise Tennant: power cord ?
    Lucinda Lavender: the actual one
    Lucinda Lavender: brb
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Paradise Tennant: smiles yep we definitely all need our power cords :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakra
Paradise Tennant: I have to step away for a moment my four legged master has summoned me :) be back in say 5 minutes :)
stevenaia Michinaga: learning about chi, missed the Chakra lesson
    Lucinda Lavender: back...
    Roger Ormenthal: http://manifestedreams.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/chakras.jpg
stevenaia Michinaga: A modern teacher, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, uses a computer analogy: main chakras are like hard drives. Each hard drive has many files. One of the files is always open in each of the chakras, no matter how "closed" that particular chakra may be. What is displayed by the file shapes experience.
    Roger Ormenthal: http://under-the-bodhi-tree.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/chakras_clip_image001.jpg
Lucinda Lavender: let me see if I can find a picture of what I am talking about
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Roger Ormenthal: Interesting Stevenaia. The chakras are also said to rotate, take different selective energies into the body, and are places where people connect on the subtle, with either luminous positive connections, or unhealthy co-dependent connection which are rope-like.
    Lucinda Lavender: http://www.turtledreamers.com/The_Invisible_Garment.html
Lucinda Lavender: I am working with this material which does not show the chakras but explains the principles idea
Rhiannon Dragoone: I need to log; it's time for me to get back to work grading.
Roger Ormenthal: Thanks for the link.
    Roger Ormenthal: Bye Rhi.
    Rhiannon Dragoone: bye Roger
Lucinda Lavender: Bye Rhi good luck with grading
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Rhi
    Rhiannon Dragoone: thanks, luc
    Rhiannon Dragoone: bye, steve

    --BELL--

Lucinda Lavender: Roger...I study dreaming as a spritual practice...
Lucinda Lavender: but I can't spell it I guess:)
    Roger Ormenthal: Interpretation?
Lucinda Lavender: listening to dreams in an energetic way
Lucinda Lavender: with a more universal interpretation...not so much personal
Roger Ormenthal: Do you place creedence in OBEs, and that some dreams may reflect actual nocturnal experiences in that state?
    Lucinda Lavender: what is OBE...?
    Lucinda Lavender: out of Body?
Roger Ormenthal: Out of Body Experience
    Lucinda Lavender: right...
Lucinda Lavender: I suppose but I never have experienced it myself
stevenaia Michinaga: isn't dreaming in general out of body (you are sleeping after all)
Lucinda Lavender: I would say so...:)
Lucinda Lavender: it always seems like going off into unity consciousness to me
Lucinda Lavender: I guess maybe I do...
stevenaia Michinaga: yet, we each remain separate , even in dreams as in Rl, conciousness does not comingle with others, even in dreams
Roger Ormenthal: I've experienced some aspects of OBE, though others might claim that to be subjective. I think the stories of near death experiences, experiences in surgery and accidents, etc. - are compelling. But don't let me take us off topic.
stevenaia Michinaga: wonder why that is when there is not reason it should be so
    stevenaia Michinaga: (RE Conciousness)
    Lucinda Lavender: separate but together...
Lucinda Lavender: that is how it feels to me
Roger Ormenthal: I think consciousness can meld, but without boundaries that contain our identity it would get very confusing!
Lucinda Lavender: I had these dreaming ahead experiences that started me on a path of sorts...and I needed to know which dreams to take literally
stevenaia Michinaga: I once saw what someone saw, when in a very intuative state, I was able to describe someone in their life that I enver met to a person I never met
Roger Ormenthal: Separate but together - paradox is a central part of life and the universe.
Lucinda Lavender: sort of like seeing through there eyes

    --BELL--

    Lucinda Lavender: wb Paradise
Roger Ormenthal: We are all complex hierarchical waves of energy, waves on the same universal ocean. So through that common medium, we have connection and the possibility of subtle communication, like intuitio / telepathy / clairvoyance.
    Roger Ormenthal: (intuition)
Lucinda Lavender: many cells working together
    Roger Ormenthal: EXACTLY
stevenaia Michinaga: Separate but together - a paradox that is usually the basis of lifelong relationships
Roger Ormenthal: Part of the cosmic mind, and extending that to all life in all of the galaxies, the entire universe is alive, conscious, and connected.
Lucinda Lavender: so now when I look out from my eyes....I wonder what is it that needs a space to grow here...now
Lucinda Lavender: because it is all forming its connections
Roger Ormenthal: It is in the nature of all life to grow, expand, understand, and reunify with the larger underlying infinite consciousness. In our longing we are forced to evolve beyond what we are.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles reading :)
Roger Ormenthal: (Perhaps I should have said compelled, not forced, since languishing is another choice.)
stevenaia Michinaga: feels the need to connect with my pillow, thanks and good night all
Lucinda Lavender: well as physical entities I see we will decompose but I also imagine that there is alot more going on
    Lucinda Lavender: connects well steve:)
    Lucinda Lavender: sweet dreams
stevenaia Michinaga: almost forgot, thanks arch

I claimed the log before leaving

Roger Ormenthal: Bye Stevenaia, and thanks for your insight and contributions.
Paradise Tennant: nite stev sweet dreams
Lucinda Lavender: you asked earlier about lucid dreaming..and some are like that...but usually I just wake and watch ...or attempt to retain...
Paradise Tennant: smiles to remember clearly with insight is luci's gift :)
Lucinda Lavender: :) it does seem a gift...
Roger Ormenthal: If I am very well rsted, with no sleep deficit, I can have lucid dreaming, and direct the dream at will.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles a blessing
Lucinda Lavender: nodding being rested makes a huge difference
Paradise Tennant: sighs hardly ever remember mind mine you the ones I remember are worth remembering

    --BELL--

Roger Ormenthal: I also find that I must be my true self in the lucid dream. If I think "this is just a dream" and step out of character by way of thinking that these are not real people who can not be hurt by any thoughtlessness, I will wake up and lose the power and ability available in the lucid dream. It is as if with the power there is a responsibility that must be honored.
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Lucinda Lavender: good thinking I would say
Paradise Tennant: respect .. is part of consciousness on all levels :)
Lucinda Lavender: praying and honoring in the dream is a very powerful thing for the planet
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes :) lots of power in intention prayer is intention .. a verbalization of imagery
Roger Ormenthal: I have never thought of praying in a dream. That's a very interesting idea.
    Lucinda Lavender: and gratitude...awareness of...
Lucinda Lavender: once I saw my mother wrapped in a tanzanite cloth in a coffin...and was able to say apryer...
Paradise Tennant: in a dream was she alive or dead at the time ?
Lucinda Lavender: prayer..It was like my mind was ready to say it...she had already ded...it was years later
Paradise Tennant: think there are layers to grief to acceptance of loss that takes years to bubble up somtimes
Lucinda Lavender: it went something like I love you today and for all the time that has passed and for all the futre
    Lucinda Lavender: future
Paradise Tennant: what a beautiful prayer luci :)))
Lucinda Lavender: probably some healing for all there
Roger Ormenthal: The illusion of time does not seem to exist in the higher realms. Your prayer for your mother, was not therefore delayed, but was in perfect time.
Paradise Tennant: i love you today and for all the time that has passed and for all the future :)))
    Lucinda Lavender: :)yes
Paradise Tennant: sounds like a bridge of love that spans .. beyond time
Roger Ormenthal: The passing of a person's physical aspect, is no impediment to the sharing of love with that soul.
Lucinda Lavender: it was a tanzanite cloth too...the energy of truth and initiation
Lucinda Lavender: so prayer seem very powerful in the dream
Paradise Tennant: smiltes think we are surrounded by love we are just not aware of it :)
    Paradise Tennant: mostly :))
Lucinda Lavender: I think as it is getting late i must go...yep Paradise
    Roger Ormenthal: Agreed Paradise.
    Roger Ormenthal: Sweet dreams Lucinda.
Lucinda Lavender: Thanks for this conversation Roger, and Paradise and Arch and Stevenia
Paradise Tennant: smiles nite lucinda thank you
    Lucinda Lavender: thanks!!
Paradise Tennant: really enjoyed the conversation
Roger Ormenthal: It was a great conversation, thanks all!
Paradise Tennant: smiles will think of you at the met tomorrow :))
Lucinda Lavender: yes! looking at the beauty!
Lucinda Lavender: and the other stuff:)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: use to find the surest way to stop a headache was to walk through the ago ..our art gallery just soothes the soul

    --BELL--

Paradise Tennant: smiles thank you roger .. arch .. sleepy here so will go perchance to dream of spirals of colour and swirling chakras :) and tanzanite :)
    Roger Ormenthal: Bye Arch.
