    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Archmage Atlantis: I thought I missed a change in the meeting times
    Archmage Atlantis: Oh, Hi Susan
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
Archmage Atlantis: Names are difficult to remember
    iwandertoo Resident: understand
    Archmage Atlantis: Getting old
iwandertoo Resident: i've been this way all my life
    iwandertoo Resident: names...
Archmage Atlantis: Well, me too,,,,now I can claim it is old age
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
Bertram Jacobus: hi arch and susan
    Archmage Atlantis: Hello, Bert
    iwandertoo Resident: hi Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: i hope i do not disturb too much ...
iwandertoo Resident: not disturbing at all
Bertram Jacobus: may i ask what you were talking about ?
iwandertoo Resident: remembering names of people
    Bertram Jacobus: oh okay ...
Archmage Atlantis: Perhaps, if I am multiple people, some may
    Archmage Atlantis: forget
    iwandertoo Resident: ?
Archmage Atlantis: O perhaps even, never hvae been introdused
Bertram Jacobus: you mean multiple identities ? ...
Bertram Jacobus: a phenomenon some people show. but is that even with different names ? may be ...
Bertram Jacobus: for sure no problem in sl ...
Bertram Jacobus: but in the offline world ... ;-) - such appears quite strange, doesn´t it ? ... :-)
    Aphrodite Macbain: morning
Bertram Jacobus: hello aphrodite ! :-)
    iwandertoo Resident: waves
Bertram Jacobus: good afternoon (!) ;o)
    Aphrodite Macbain: susan, arch,bertram
    Aphrodite Macbain: how is everyone?
    iwandertoo Resident: waking up...
    iwandertoo Resident: you?
Aphrodite Macbain: waking up, a bit sad
Bertram Jacobus: here it´s okay . the only point is : i need some work and income ! hope to find something very soon finally ... but how are you ?! :-) ...
Bertram Jacobus: why are you sad ? ...
Bertram Jacobus: (if i may ask) (?) ...
Aphrodite Macbain: just broke up with my bf
Bertram Jacobus: ohhhh - so sry for you ! ... :-/
Aphrodite Macbain: Thanks Bertram, It will take time but I'll just have to go through it
Bertram Jacobus: yes. you´re right. i agree. and understand. such is life ... i hope, it will bring many good aspects finally for all, everybody and everything (!) ...
    Aphrodite Macbain smiles at Bertram
Bertram Jacobus: just i experience here "after the sun comes rain, after the rain comes sun" - that are also also some lines of a song ...
Aphrodite Macbain: it's those daily habits of being together that are hard to erase
    iwandertoo Resident: nods
Aphrodite Macbain: well it's well and truly raining right now literally as well as figuratively!
Bertram Jacobus: oh yes ! habits in general - very hard to change ... a real task often ..., challenge ... and sometimes change of surroundings and relations in every form - can help ...
Aphrodite Macbain: You're right. I am hoping to make a trip to visit friends soon -perhaps in Banff
Bertram Jacobus: banff ? what is that pls ?
Aphrodite Macbain: I suppose we have all been through this; it's a familiar state of being that seems impossible and endless
Bertram Jacobus: i think so too ...
Aphrodite Macbain: Banff is a little town in the Canadian Rockies where I lived for 7 years in the 80s. Lots of friends there
    Bertram Jacobus: ah , good ! ...
iwandertoo Resident: no way to patch it up ?
Aphrodite Macbain: Hmmm I don't think so. There's too much anger
    iwandertoo Resident: later then, perhaps
Aphrodite Macbain: We'll see. He's just disappeared. I don't know where he has gone.
iwandertoo Resident: is this his way of dealing?
Aphrodite Macbain: Sort of. I asked him to leave.
    iwandertoo Resident: were you angry?
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes, and hurt
iwandertoo Resident: decisions made in anger usually are revisited
iwandertoo Resident: anger is an exceptional state...
iwandertoo Resident: (limited context...could be totally off, Aphrodite)
Aphrodite Macbain: Well I'm revisiting them constantly in my head but he's out of hearing range
    iwandertoo Resident: time, i guess
    Aphrodite Macbain: yes, to heal
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm looking forward to my yoga class today - it will take my mind off this
    iwandertoo Resident: :)
    iwandertoo Resident: or through it
Bertram Jacobus: very good, very nice ... yoga ...
Aphrodite Macbain: I have a wonderful teacher- so warm and caring
Bertram Jacobus: how nice ! ...
Bertram Jacobus: such can be a really good support and worth living ...
Aphrodite Macbain: she practices what she preaches. It's not just the form and shape, but the reason for it
Aphrodite Macbain: a means of meditating well
    Bertram Jacobus: yes. great
Aphrodite Macbain: and allowing us to face what comes up for us
    Bertram Jacobus: wonderful
Bertram Jacobus: all that can help so much. friends ...
iwandertoo Resident: would be good to have such
Aphrodite Macbain: Have any of you practised yoga?
Bertram Jacobus: even the circle, the group here (!) ...
iwandertoo Resident: i havent, but trying to get a friend to do it
Aphrodite Macbain: yes- it's a great souce of support and strength.
Bertram Jacobus: yes. i. but only a very little bit sadly. i am not very disciplined i must confess. and may be the "path via the body" is not my personal first choice. although i think, it would be very good for me if i did more such ...
Aphrodite Macbain: It becomes a nweed after a while- to sit on one;'s cushion and simply breathe
    Aphrodite Macbain: a need
Bertram Jacobus: oh yes. i can understand that very well. because meditation is similar to me. but we are also taught not to cling (!?) ... ;-)
    Aphrodite Macbain: cling?
Bertram Jacobus: to cling to something ? is that no common expression ?
Aphrodite Macbain: I'm not sure how it applies to meditating
Bertram Jacobus: ehm - i only have in mind, that in general, getting rid of habits and needs would be best - so even in relation to meditation. no ? okay : that may be a very high and late topic on the spiritual path, but nevertheless ...
iwandertoo Resident: waves, best to everyone
Aphrodite Macbain: My understanding is that your cushion was where you did your work. Not a place to escape to
Bertram Jacobus: so there is also a teaching which says (in buddhistic terms, i hope, that is to be understood in it´s metaphoric meaning also) : "in the end, only the buddha (which is here : the enlightened state) lasts, not dharma (the teachings), not sangha (the community) ... (!) ...
Aphrodite Macbain: must go now. Thanks for being here.
Bertram Jacobus: they all disappear so fast ... :-(
Bertram Jacobus: bye arch. you seem not to be here as well (?) ...
Bertram Jacobus: so feel all greeted via the log and thaks for being here ! *wave* ...
