    Yakuzza Lethecus: morning riddle
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Yak
Riddle Sideways: you've still got your ice skates on :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: oh,yes, only the pavillion seems to be back at spring or summertime
Riddle Sideways: just an early melt
Riddle Sideways: hahahaha, was about to do that grass thang
Riddle Sideways: now it is spring like
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: we need growing grass, watching it grow :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning bleu
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Blu
Riddle Sideways: the one who brings happiness
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bleu Oleander: are you both happy?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least i had to smile :)
    Riddle Sideways: yes, pretty well
Riddle Sideways: was looking at the Wester photos
Bleu Oleander: are you working on translating your happiness to art?
Riddle Sideways: lots of smiles there
Riddle Sideways: stuck in the thinking up an image stage
Bleu Oleander: doesn't have to be an image
Bleu Oleander: could be a texture
Bleu Oleander: or no image/texture ... up to u
Riddle Sideways: most of the art projects have been easier to think up something
Riddle Sideways: then trouble creating it
Bleu Oleander: funny that happiness would be the hardest :)
Riddle Sideways: this is one where a good idea does not say it all
Bleu Oleander: don't try to say it all ... take just an aspect of it
Riddle Sideways: a smile or a smiley face is not all
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello obs
    Riddle Sideways: Hi observe
    Bleu Oleander: hi obs :)
    observerm Resident waves
Riddle Sideways: today could be just a heart statue
Bleu Oleander: investigate one aspect or question about happiness
Riddle Sideways: is Valentine's day celebrated in Europe?
Riddle Sideways: Love is a big aspect of happiness
Bleu Oleander: happiness is something we know when we experience it but have trouble defining it or explaining it
Bleu Oleander: which comes first, love or happiness?
    Riddle Sideways: either
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello storm
Riddle Sideways: ah a storm is coming
    Bleu Oleander: hey Storm :)
    Storm Nordwind: Hell everyone :)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Riddle Sideways: :)
Riddle Sideways: where you the remover of snow drifts and bringer of spring?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i allow myself to be happy depending on what´s going on in my head, but not all is rational
Yakuzza Lethecus: love increases happyness tho and is one of those irrational factors :)
Storm Nordwind: I took a shovel to the snow. I've been a littel lazy, yes!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Bleu Oleander: hiya boxy
    Riddle Sideways: Hi happiness pup
Bleu Oleander: boxy must be happy
Riddle Sideways: large quantities of happiness in a boxy nose
    Alfred Kelberry: hi :)
Alfred Kelberry: a group of fine people
Storm Nordwind: is due shortly? ;)
Riddle Sideways: but against the art project rules to put Boxy on a plinth for nose pressing
    Bleu Oleander: ha!
Alfred Kelberry: there's a rule against it?
Riddle Sideways: yes it is irrational, that clicking a puppies nose bring happiness
    Alfred Kelberry: um, ok :)
    Riddle Sideways: red ribbon?
Alfred Kelberry: yes, dubbed so by eliza
Alfred Kelberry: i like it much better than previous "circle" :)
Riddle Sideways: wonderful phrase to think about: merry go round
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: are there any exhibitions at the dome already?
Storm Nordwind: I think there were five when I last looked
    Alfred Kelberry: oh, cool
Riddle Sideways: have only seen 2
Bleu Oleander: really? i'll have to check it out!
Bleu Oleander is still in the conceptual stage
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Storm Nordwind: I think Bleu, we may also benefit from one or two of your introductory noticeboards :)
    Bleu Oleander: yes!
Bleu Oleander: planning to do that
    Bleu Oleander: hi xirana
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Xirana
    Riddle Sideways: Hi Xir
Xirana Oximoxi: hi Bleu, Storm, Rid, Yaku, Boxy :)
    Alfred Kelberry: xiri :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi xriana :)
Riddle Sideways: the concept of a boxy puppy with lego bone, antlers, flashing decorations and nose click quotes riding a ribbon around us is close to pure happiness
Riddle Sideways: now how to put that on a plinth
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Alfred Kelberry: an interesting notion of happiness, but i'll take it :)
Riddle Sideways: see some will not understand
    Bleu Oleander: understanding happiness :)
    Riddle Sideways: it is irrational
Riddle Sideways: one definition just won't work for some
    Bleu Oleander: subjective
Storm Nordwind: And so our society and our culture become rich and diverse. :)
Xirana Oximoxi: I also think the concept changes for oneseff with time
Riddle Sideways: there is this gloppy play stuff the kids had
    Bleu Oleander: agree Xirana
Riddle Sideways: was really fun happy then
Alfred Kelberry: what is the saying? we don't appreciate until it's lost?
Riddle Sideways: now is just glop
Storm Nordwind: If it's losable, is it really happiness?
Bleu Oleander still has fun with glop
    Riddle Sideways: yep storm
    Alfred Kelberry: it's relative, storm
Alfred Kelberry: for some folks having food on a table is happiness
Bleu Oleander: what is unlosable happiness?
Alfred Kelberry: when it's lost, well... you can still be happy that you're alive
Riddle Sideways: shall happiness be bottled up and kept
Storm Nordwind: I disagree Alfred. That is something rather different. Good but different. It is pleasantness, it is absence of hunger, all those things
Storm Nordwind: Real happiness is not fleeting. It is not a high set against a low of humdrum or less happy. It is without end.
    Alfred Kelberry: never ending happiness?
Bleu Oleander: how does one recognize "real happiness"?
Storm Nordwind: Never ending. Never beginning. Always there.
Riddle Sideways: there are so many fake happinesses around here :)
Alfred Kelberry: storm, i suppose it is, as in air or universe
Bleu Oleander: so if one experiences unhappiness, does that mean one has never experienced happiness?
Storm Nordwind: When the sun comes up Bleu, you find you don't need to search for it with a candle anymore! :))
Riddle Sideways: guess I could lose sight of that
Riddle Sideways: but not lose it
Storm Nordwind: It is possible to experience pain and discomfort even trauma and yet still be completely happy. It sounds unrealistic but it's perfectly possible.
Alfred Kelberry: storm, maybe you're trying to say that there's always something to be happy about in life?
Storm Nordwind: No. Though that may well be true.
Bleu Oleander: so can one experience unhappiness?
Bleu Oleander: or is there always an underlying happiness?
Storm Nordwind: It is simply possible to reach a deep and endless well of happiness that you can immerse yourself in, and that allows you to stop identifying with the aches and pains and even fleeting joys of everyday life.
Riddle Sideways: so (maybe) there is always happiness and it is only the experiencing level that might change
Bleu Oleander: unhappiness can be deeper than just aches and pains
Storm Nordwind: That doesn't mean you don't enjoy life and its pleasant things (if you're lucky enough to have those). Just that you always have the deep well.
Alfred Kelberry: a state of mind that is detached from suffering? :)
Alfred Kelberry: "deep well" = happiness?
Bleu Oleander: unhappy to say I must get going ... thanks for a good conversation and take care :)
Xirana Oximoxi: bye Bleu:) see you soon and have anice day!
Storm Nordwind: It's hard for many people to detach from suffering unless they have something more meaningful to attach to first. But yes, you're right about that Alfred.
Riddle Sideways: ok Bleu, be happy
    Storm Nordwind waves
    Yakuzza Lethecus: vbye bleu
Riddle Sideways: how can the artist depict a "deep well" on the plinth?
    Storm Nordwind: haha! How indeed!
Storm Nordwind: Well I gave it a go. :)
Riddle Sideways: would the observer intrepet it as meant?
    Riddle Sideways: not seen yet
Storm Nordwind: Ah... with the best most durable art, there is no "meant" that can be universally grasped by everyone at every viewing!
    Riddle Sideways: true
Xirana Oximoxi: what is sure is that the observer will always interpret his way :)
Storm Nordwind: Yes Xirana, and the best art allows space for each observer to do that individually and maybe even differently at different times. So it survives and is enjoyed for generations as a masterpiece.
    Xirana Oximoxi: exactly Storm!! :-)
Riddle Sideways: ah (warm happy feeling)
Alfred Kelberry: yes, we all know that paul mccartney is an impostor :)
Xirana Oximoxi: and we always recreate masterpieces.. adding new meanings to them
    Riddle Sideways: yes
    Xirana Oximoxi: haha boxy:)
Riddle Sideways: image a 69 year old out there singing at the Grammys
Xirana Oximoxi: one of the most recreated sotries is the one of Ulisses of the Odissey
    Xirana Oximoxi: stories*
Riddle Sideways: "The love yo take, is equal to the love you make"
Alfred Kelberry: i don't know this one, xiri
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
    Riddle Sideways: illead
Storm Nordwind plays in his head the George Harrison lead that follows
Xirana Oximoxi: you'll have to read it Boxy..it's still a fun book af adventures...
Riddle Sideways: ah (warm happy feelings) again
    Xirana Oximoxi: http://www.gutenberg.org/browse/authors/h#a705
Alfred Kelberry: thank you, xiri :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: yw:)
Riddle Sideways: required reading in most schools
Riddle Sideways: or use to be
Alfred Kelberry: i've seen a lot of cartoons on the greek mythology as a kid
Storm Nordwind: And probably a lot of movies. But the book's better! ;)
Riddle Sideways: includes that powerful story of the Trogen puppy
    Storm Nordwind chuckles
    Xirana Oximoxi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odissey
Alfred Kelberry: no, books are long and boring. cartoons have moving pictures!
Riddle Sideways: Storm, you might enjoy these guitar players http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhR4zDOa8Zc
    Yakuzza Lethecus: or the audiobook
Storm Nordwind: Books allow you to create moving pictures in your mind that far exceed the sweep and power of mere cartoons!
Yakuzza Lethecus: didn´t know ,,librevox" before
Xirana Oximoxi: absolutlly Storm...that's why when you have read a book..usually if you see a film of it you are deceived
Storm Nordwind: And the same with radio plays vs. TV plays or movies. In radio plays the scenery is much better! :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: only if you have a very good set of imagination
Xirana Oximoxi: reading usually increases our imagination...
Riddle Sideways: now that's a funny phrase "good set of imagination"
Riddle Sideways: use it all the time and never thought about it
Alfred Kelberry: xiri, that's why i skip deceiving books and go straight to movies :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: haha :)
Xirana Oximoxi: now I'll have to reread my sentence to see if I have writen the opposite of what I wanted to say :))
Alfred Kelberry: yet i liked both "i robot" movie and azimov's book
Riddle Sideways: and the saturday morning cartoon versions are even shorter boxy
    Alfred Kelberry: xiri :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: :)
Alfred Kelberry: no, you're right. the first impression we get about something is what we tend to assign a greater value.
Xirana Oximoxi: I go now... I wish you a nice time to all!!
    Alfred Kelberry: bye :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye xirana
    Xirana Oximoxi: ahhh yes! :)
    Xirana Oximoxi: bye bye :)
    Riddle Sideways: bye Xir
Storm Nordwind: By the way, thanks for that YouTube link Riddle. The old dude has still got it!
Alfred Kelberry: yaku, any new adventures you embarked on lately? :)
Riddle Sideways: every day is an adventure for Yaku
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: haha, apple warranty advernture just started :P
    Riddle Sideways: see
    Alfred Kelberry: ouch, what happened?
Yakuzza Lethecus: ipod screen is black, wonder if they will somehow replace it but it´s older then a year
Yakuzza Lethecus: didn´t drop, no water damage
Yakuzza Lethecus: just died in a skype call
    Alfred Kelberry: sorry about that
Alfred Kelberry: hope it won't take too long
Alfred Kelberry: skype call with evy? :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: actually yes :)
