    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Aloha!
Eliza Madrigal: I see Luci but she is busy installing her happiness project
oO0Oo Resident: Yes.. Seeing Druth as well
    Eliza Madrigal nods :)
Eliza Madrigal: And how is Sam?
    oO0Oo Resident: Sam who?
Eliza Madrigal: forgive me... you who : Samúð :)
oO0Oo Resident: I remember once you made a point to tell me that you read *every word* of the logs
Eliza Madrigal: well mostly... at some point I did and now I admit my life is such that some I skip through a bit

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Stevie :)
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Sev
    stevenaia Michinaga: waves
Eliza Madrigal: lovely to see you
stevenaia Michinaga: thank you, it's been a relaxing day
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: how about you?
Eliza Madrigal: quite a full day
    Eliza Madrigal: generally pleasant
stevenaia Michinaga: should have done so much more :)
Eliza Madrigal: like Zon says "guilt is a sin" haha
stevenaia Michinaga: hmmm, but I'm good with that
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: strange to get used to Pema not hosting Saturday nights
stevenaia Michinaga: he is a busy boy
    Eliza Madrigal: :) yes
stevenaia Michinaga: but he does show up now and then
Eliza Madrigal nods... he has moved to Monday night session
stevenaia Michinaga: I placed a sculpture of sorts in the dome, does Storm tag them?
Eliza Madrigal: great, and yes he goes through
Eliza Madrigal: did you give a notecard also?
Eliza Madrigal: you drop it into the platform
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :)

stevenaia Michinaga: no great poetry as some have
Eliza Madrigal: love to hear the poetry and also anything heart felt
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes on twitter we write #badhaiku
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, expression comes in so many forms, images, words
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: someone in my Tao discussion group writes a haiku and shares them at our meetings, she is putting together a book of them
    Eliza Madrigal: :) nice idea

stevenaia Michinaga: can't say I've ever written any but they can be quite moving
Eliza Madrigal: might as well try; why not :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hmm
    stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps sometime
Eliza Madrigal: a light goal I have for this year is to get over voice shyness a bit... have been talking to some friends and also one of the people who reads poetry in SL
stevenaia Michinaga: voice shyness? why do I find that hard to believe
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eliza Madrigal: I know... pretty funny
Eliza Madrigal: in meetings I don't think that I am very, but well, there are strange contexts when my former shyness pops up
Eliza Madrigal: I have lots of little quirks in that regard, long pauses mid-thought, shakiness, etc
    Eliza Madrigal: but persevere :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I probably should be more thoughtful, but usually say more than is needed, perhaps shyness would serve me
    Eliza Madrigal: nah :)
Eliza Madrigal: friendliness/openness may be its own protection

stevenaia Michinaga: I was talking to a friend of mine who will testifying to a state committee on a subject she knows well and she was all nervious, I tries to explan they were looking to her for important information, not to argue with her and should not be nervious... we shall see
    Eliza Madrigal: oh wow
Eliza Madrigal: hard not to be nervous about that
stevenaia Michinaga: hard to get over an appearently intimadating situation when it actually isn;t
    Eliza Madrigal: tai chi friend?
stevenaia Michinaga: at tleast the politicians in my state, no local city planner
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
stevenaia Michinaga: wonders if there is ever a need to feel unequal to anyone who you share a conversation with

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Tess :))
    Tess Aristocrat: hi
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Tess
    oO0Oo Resident: Hi Tess

Eliza Madrigal: I'm not sure it is a matter of unequal... in my case extreme shyness was hyper self-consciousness
Eliza Madrigal: even when I was alone, hah
stevenaia Michinaga: shy when alone? perplexed
    Tess Aristocrat: :)
Eliza Madrigal: just seems a personality thing... maybe too conscious of things that seemed out of place
    Eliza Madrigal: anyway, SL helped

Tess Aristocrat: sometimes I've felt like an outsider in some groups where there was a lot of puffing up
stevenaia Michinaga: it sometimes takes a moment to sense the group dynamic
Tess Aristocrat: I don't like to see people picking on other people
Eliza Madrigal: love the expression "puffed up"... picturing the way birds can make themselves seem much larger
Tess Aristocrat: I have seen that at some book discussions
    Tess Aristocrat: lolll
Tess Aristocrat: and that's exactly what they seem to do! hehe
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
stevenaia Michinaga: out book each other?
Eliza Madrigal: it seems an antiquated way to relate actually
Tess Aristocrat: just hyper-blather each other
Eliza Madrigal: but each group probably has its own form :)
    Tess Aristocrat: agrees

Tess Aristocrat: i do love to come here
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Eliza Madrigal: happy when you do Tess :)
stevenaia Michinaga: can you explan why?
    stevenaia Michinaga: Tess
Tess Aristocrat: why I love coming here?
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Tess Aristocrat: I feel at ease
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: we all have our reasons,
stevenaia Michinaga: sometimes they escape me
stevenaia Michinaga: but I return anyway
Eliza Madrigal: "that reasons know not of"
Tess Aristocrat: I feel I can chat with you all easily
Eliza Madrigal: that's the biggest compliment I think... ease

    Eliza Madrigal: goodness, cat... listen...
    Eliza Madrigal: on and on....
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: your cat?
    Eliza Madrigal: nods
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
stevenaia Michinaga: maybe he has no problem expressing himself here too
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Eliza Madrigal: that must be it

Eliza Madrigal: Tess did you make it to see the dome?
Eliza Madrigal: (that's a wonderful purr)
    Tess Aristocrat: no, I haven't..
Eliza Madrigal: the special session is Feb 26 at noon if you can make it
    Tess Aristocrat: ok..that's a Sunday..
Eliza Madrigal: and of course if you'd like to install a project that would be great
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Tess Aristocrat: is there any particular theme?
    Eliza Madrigal: Happiness :)
Eliza Madrigal: we've been exchanging emails about it, but I can make you a notecard...
    Tess Aristocrat: :D
    Eliza Madrigal: brb

Tess Aristocrat: you know..I've been very hyper today
    stevenaia Michinaga: oh? why?
    stevenaia Michinaga: do you know
Tess Aristocrat: does anyone here have or know someone with ADHD that is an adult?
stevenaia Michinaga: I think my Brother-in-law does, takes rittlin to focus

Eliza Madrigal: do you have restless days Tess?
    Tess Aristocrat: nods
Tess Aristocrat: and silly days..when I'm off on the weekend
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Tess Aristocrat: lol
Eliza Madrigal: maybe dancing more suited than sitting tonight
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
oO0Oo Resident: depends on what you get swept away with

Tess Aristocrat: We don't behave that way in public as adults because we have learned what is and isn't appropriate
Eliza Madrigal: here we are allowed to forget
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, find thos places you can be you
    Eliza Madrigal: or whoever, hah
    Eliza Madrigal: kidding, sort of

Tess Aristocrat: so, I have about a half dozen half finished projects
    Tess Aristocrat: ok, a dozen
    oO0Oo Resident: brb
    Eliza Madrigal nods thoughtfullly
Eliza Madrigal: this is one reason why I'm trying to get myself to take a week off of SL
Eliza Madrigal: but it isn't working so far :)
stevenaia Michinaga: I don;t spend nearly as much time here as I used to

Tess Aristocrat: The most difficult thing I've found as an adult with ADHD is learning, like say, a new job
stevenaia Michinaga: I love new jobs, always exciting until they are now
Tess Aristocrat: it's a lot of pressure to focus and stay in the moment
Eliza Madrigal: yes that must be hard
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Eliza Madrigal: trying to hook into a pattern

Tess Aristocrat: because you are trying to absorb what the person is telling you
Tess Aristocrat: you have the internal narrative saying...listen...keep listening
    Eliza Madrigal: mmm

Tess Aristocrat: what time is the Sunday meeting here?
Eliza Madrigal: the special session will be at the dome at noon
Eliza Madrigal: but every other day we are here 1,7,1,7
    Tess Aristocrat: nods
Eliza Madrigal: also, there is a guardian session every other week on sunday
Eliza Madrigal: at 8AM slt in the VIllage Hall
stevenaia Michinaga: I must be going, night all
Eliza Madrigal: short walk from here... will see dots gathered on the map

    Eliza Madrigal: Night Stevie :)
    Tess Aristocrat: night Stevie :)
Eliza Madrigal: cat has stopped meowing finally :)
    Tess Aristocrat: lol
Eliza Madrigal: he must be having a silly night too
    Tess Aristocrat: :)
    oO0Oo Resident: back
    Eliza Madrigal: welcome back
    Tess Aristocrat: welcome back :)
    oO0Oo Resident: ty

Eliza Madrigal: would you like to take a walk to the dome?
    Tess Aristocrat: ok
    Tess Aristocrat: sam, coming?
oO0Oo Resident: You two go ahead...
    Eliza Madrigal: Samúð , coming?
    Eliza Madrigal: OK
