Eos Amaterasu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L33fO6oVeU Anne Briggs - The Cuckoo

Eos Amaterasu: that dawn sun quality, at the heart of the water dragon

    Eos Amaterasu: Hi stevenaia
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Eos
stevenaia Michinaga: have you lost weight
    Eos Amaterasu: I've lost body
Eos Amaterasu: but restored to a former emanation
stevenaia Michinaga: I see, any particular event ?
Eos Amaterasu: for weeks I was a glowing gas cloud
    stevenaia Michinaga: been there
Eos Amaterasu: (to myself at least :-)
stevenaia Michinaga: interesting how it's changes that create a subject, not so much for sameness
    Eos Amaterasu: delta
Eos Amaterasu: Speaking of changes, it is the eve of the new year (for some it was a month ago)
    Eos Amaterasu: the water dragon
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, my Tai Chi class had a group dinner
Eos Amaterasu: perhaps the essence of ourselves as a water planet
Eos Amaterasu: is there a water dragon move?
    Eos Amaterasu: or form?
    stevenaia Michinaga: don't know
stevenaia Michinaga: good question, there should be
stevenaia Michinaga: It was intro night for new students at my Class tonight, I stuck around, she did not mention dragons
stevenaia Michinaga: alhough some moves incude dragon moves, like Feeding the dragon

    stevenaia Michinaga: Hi Storm
    stevenaia Michinaga: Storm
Eos Amaterasu: feeding the dragon... whererver my attention or preoccupation goes, let the dragon be there
Storm Nordwind: Hi guys. Happy Pancake Day :)
    Eos Amaterasu: hi Storm
    Eos Amaterasu: Hmm.... blue pancake?
stevenaia Michinaga: have some donuts in the kitchen, can't belve my spouse fell for that
stevenaia Michinaga: rather magical you can fix a sim here in 13 minutes w/ a well placed message
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Eos Amaterasu: timing is everything :-)
stevenaia Michinaga: are you well connected w/ the Lindens?
stevenaia Michinaga: or they were just not busy
Storm Nordwind: Yes indeed we are very well connected. We keep paying them a fortune every month.
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, good to see they can earn their pay now and then
Storm Nordwind: You seem to have been talking about dragons... or donuts... or is that the dragon's tail rather than the dragon's tale? :)
Eos Amaterasu: I actually have a huge "pin the tail on the dragon" painting
    Eos Amaterasu: with removable tail
Eos Amaterasu: that a friend of mine painted
stevenaia Michinaga: from their website: has revenues exceeding $75 million and has been profitable for the last three years
Eos Amaterasu: (it's my Skype backdrop)
Storm Nordwind thinks this conversation is useless without pictures!
Eos Amaterasu: inspired by upcoming repeat of the water dragon new year
Storm Nordwind: Repeat? I thought that was a few weeks ago!
stevenaia Michinaga: about a month ago
    Storm Nordwind: yes
Eos Amaterasu: that's what I'm referring to (sometimes Chinese and Tibetan new year's are out of sync by a month)
Storm Nordwind: I remember wishing by Chinese delivery man "Kung hai fat choy" and fortunately he understood it because that's Cantonese, and so was he. (I can't speak Mandarin!)
Storm Nordwind: Ah yes, I see now.
Storm Nordwind is a water dragon. As is Pema
Eos Amaterasu: water dragon as the voice of this watery planet
Eos Amaterasu: mist, water, ice triple points
Eos Amaterasu: water and mist right here in front of us
Eos Amaterasu: as real as you and I
Storm Nordwind thinks about using the word "Sublime!" as a pun... and then thinks better of it. ;-)
Eos Amaterasu: (that's why outdoors laundry dries in cold Canadian winters: it gets more and more sublime)
Eos Amaterasu: direct solid to gas
Storm Nordwind: At least it doesn't rime.
Eos Amaterasu: if you hit it it might

stevenaia Michinaga: saved by the bell
    Eos Amaterasu: I believe!
Eos Amaterasu: what is the water dragon's outlook for the coming year, Storm?
Storm Nordwind: Generically, you know... I have no idea. I guess beyond the label I've taken little interest. It will doubtless be the same as previously: viz. what you make it.
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like every other year
Eos Amaterasu: I was wondering through your understanding of yourself as a water dragon (if any)
Storm Nordwind: Indeed. Or - for the more karmically inclined - it will be what you MADE it.
Storm Nordwind: It was something I studied in the 70s, though I admit that apart from seeming to fit, I found it had limited practical use for me.
Storm Nordwind: I had some friends who were keen professional esoteric astrologers... but again, I was hard pushed to find personal practical value. Others may of course find differently
Eos Amaterasu: symbol system for articulating the world?
Storm Nordwind: Well there are many of those. The Tree of Life was another such I studied around the same time.
Storm Nordwind: (That's the Kabbalah thing.)
stevenaia Michinaga: Did something eventually ring true to you?
Storm Nordwind: Many of them rang true all right, including the above. But ringing true and having practical value are different things. I found it hard to help others with these things. At the time, I took up the study and practice of spiritual healing instead.
Eos Amaterasu: re water , interesting that it is in front of us, our center
Storm Nordwind nods, expecting possibly to see a dragon emerging from it
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)

Storm Nordwind: Now I'm trying to remember why I chose water as a centerpiece
Storm Nordwind: We had a table in the older pavilion
    Storm Nordwind: Serenity perhaps
Eos Amaterasu: good move at any rate
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes, calming
    stevenaia Michinaga: reflective
Eos Amaterasu: and nourishing.... rich.... the way you can enjoy water, shower, rain, ....
    Storm Nordwind: yes. Enlivening too
Eos Amaterasu: water makes a leaf happy
Eos Amaterasu: (I just watered the plants "here")_
    stevenaia Michinaga: smiles
Storm Nordwind: I cooked earlier this evening with water... an egg curry, truly the food for a water dragon!
stevenaia Michinaga: time for bed and dreams of dragons
    stevenaia Michinaga: night all
Eos Amaterasu: Of all the writers I think Ursula LeGuin has the best understanding of dragons
    Storm Nordwind: Bye Steve!
    Eos Amaterasu: 'night Stevie
Storm Nordwind: Wow it's many decades since I read her!
    Eos Amaterasu: EarthSea Trilogy
    Storm Nordwind nods
Eos Amaterasu: the inscrutability of dragons is the boundary between the unsayable and vocabulary
Eos Amaterasu: language of elements - I like that
Eos Amaterasu: a Jungian would say protectors of the jewels in the unconscious
Storm Nordwind notes that the dragon is instead the snail in Kazakhstan!
Storm Nordwind does not feel very snail-like!
Eos Amaterasu: there is a mermaid that is the patron of Warszawa; she resides in the Visla river, which connects through the Baltic to her sister in Copenhagen
Eos Amaterasu: the very oldest pictures of heractually depict her as a dragon

    Eos Amaterasu: a water dragon
Eos Amaterasu: protectress of the city
Storm Nordwind: Wonderful. I should research her. Many of these spirits are still around and contactable. I was amazed to find the old coastal protective goddess Nehalennia

was still alive and, if not kicking, certainly able to take a gentle stroll! ;-)

    Eos Amaterasu: :-)
Storm Nordwind: I went on a pilgrimage to visit all her old haunts. But that was when I lived in Europe. I can't see a similar visit happening again to Warsaw or Copenhagen

    Eos Amaterasu: Thanks, bell!
Eos Amaterasu: Thanks, Storm, and water dragons all over!
    Storm Nordwind smiles
Eos Amaterasu: Midnight and time to sleep!
    Eos Amaterasu: goo night
    Storm Nordwind: Namaste
