    [12:51] Lukey Woodget: hi
    [12:51] Korel Laloix: Bozho
[12:51] Korel Laloix: What you up to today?
[12:52] Lukey Woodget: trying to stay alive
[12:52] Korel Laloix: Probably a good plan.
[12:53] Korel Laloix: Some days it can be tricky though....
[12:53] Lukey Woodget: yes me against myself :)
[12:53] Lukey Woodget: me v me ding ding

    [12:54] Korel Laloix: ?
[12:54] Korel Laloix: Not sure your meaning.
[12:55] Lukey Woodget: well what to eat when to get up when to work running round like a chicken with its head cut off
[12:55] Korel Laloix: Oh yes... smiles.. life is complicated.. and we make it more so.
[12:55] Korel Laloix: Wheather we want to or not.
[12:56] Lukey Woodget: like i go out do all the stuff come back then have to go out again
[12:56] Lukey Woodget: because i forget stuff
[12:56] Qt Core: Hi Korel, Lukey

[12:56] Korel Laloix: Actually had a lovely quiet couple of day.
    [12:56] Korel Laloix: Bozho
[12:57] Korel Laloix: Good to see you.
[12:57] Korel Laloix: I am overly organized, so I make a lot of lists.

[12:57] Lukey Woodget: thats it lists i need to make lists
[12:57] Qt Core: i really enjoy my shopping list on my smartphone instead of paper
[12:58] Korel Laloix: They really do help.. I have a journal with to do lists.

[12:58] Korel Laloix: I love paper... love the feel of a real book in my hands vs something on my computer... smoetimes.

[12:58] Lukey Woodget: im glad i talked to you today
    [12:58] Lukey Woodget: lists bravo
[12:58] Korel Laloix: At least someone is... smiles'
[12:58] Lukey Woodget: i need lists

[12:59] Lukey Woodget: im going to look up list making on youtube
[12:59] Lukey Woodget: i bet they got great tips
[12:59] Korel Laloix: Get your list tattoed on you.. that makes sure you can't forget.
[13:00] Lukey Woodget: what on my face
[13:00] Korel Laloix: Arms, so you dn't have to use a mirror.
[13:00] Lukey Woodget: a lot of people do that

[13:00] Qt Core: i enjoy this program http://www.treepad.com/treepadfreeware/ (for my needs the free one is good enough
[13:00] Lukey Woodget: but they dont look like very usefull lists
[13:01] Korel Laloix: Will have a look.
    [13:01] Korel Laloix: brb
[13:01] Lukey Woodget: treepad looks great
    [13:02] Qt Core: Hi Pema
    [13:02] Korel Laloix: Heya

[13:02] Pema Pera: hi Lukey, Korel, Qt!
[13:02] Lukey Woodget: what happens if no1 on the list is play secondlife
[13:02] Korel Laloix: I use my little journal.. works perfectly... for me... smiles
    [13:03] Lukey Woodget: hi

[13:03] Korel Laloix: hmmm.. So say we "play" SL?
[13:03] Korel Laloix: I don't consider it a game, but maybe play is the right word.
[13:03] Pema Pera: (I can't stay only briefly -- just dropping by, before work will call me again)
[13:03] Korel Laloix: OK.. good to see you.
[13:03] Lukey Woodget: you are right its not realy a game my bad
[13:03] Qt Core: ohh and i thought we were going rond two ;-)
[13:03] Korel Laloix: Well, it probably is to some.
[13:04] Korel Laloix: And that is not good or bad.. just and observation.
[13:04] Lukey Woodget: not that [name removed]
[13:04] Lukey Woodget: i cant stand her
[13:04] Korel Laloix looks her up
[13:05] Lukey Woodget: spelling might be out
[13:05] Lukey Woodget: she is a pig
[13:05] Pema Pera: btw, Lukey, have you been here before?
[13:05] Korel Laloix: Character on Dallas?
[13:06] Lukey Woodget: let me see

[13:06] Pema Pera: we get together a few times a day to chat about the nature of reality, and everything else, and we have a wiki http://wiki.playasbeing.org/ -- We record our conversations there. Do you mind being included in our blogs?
[13:06] Korel Laloix: OH.. Lukey has been here a few times...
[13:06] Pema Pera: ah, okay, just wanted to check :)
[13:07] Korel Laloix: Sorry, should have answer you.
[13:07] Korel Laloix: Sould I claim it?
[13:08] Pema Pera: sure, if you like, Korel!
[13:09] Lukey Woodget: yep I been here before ty for asking though
[13:09] Korel Laloix: Not sure if someone was planning.. but if they show up, no issues.
    [13:09] Pema Pera: yw :)
[13:09] Korel Laloix: If you dont mind..
[13:09] Korel Laloix: I would like to go back to something Lukey said.

[13:09] Lukey Woodget: that [name removed] makes my blood boil
[13:10] Korel Laloix: Do we PLAY SL?
[13:10] Korel Laloix: Or do we DO SL?
[13:10] Pema Pera: how about RL?
[13:10] Pema Pera: Do we play or do RL?
[13:10] Korel Laloix: Or what is the verb?
    [13:10] Pema Pera: hi Raffi!
[13:10] Korel Laloix: Also a good question.
    [13:10] Korel Laloix: Bozho Raffi.
[13:10] Raffila Millgrove: greetings all. sorry to be a bit late.

[13:10] Korel Laloix: Sometimes at university I feel like I am playing.
[13:10] Lukey Woodget: [name removed] gave lectures on it
[13:10] Korel Laloix: But here I don't get that feeling.
[13:11] Qt Core: sometimes the (too) many meanings of the english verb play scare me
    [13:11] Pema Pera: :-)
[13:11] Korel Laloix: Will look her up.
[13:11] Pema Pera: good point, Qt
    [13:11] Korel Laloix: Good point.
    [13:11] Lukey Woodget: i put a link
[13:11] Raffila Millgrove: She's on my friends list. i forget exactly how i connected with her.
    [13:11] Pema Pera: [snap]
    [13:11] Lukey Woodget: lol
[13:11] Qt Core: (in italian playing an instrument, act and play a game are separated)
[13:11] Korel Laloix: Never heard of her before..... is that a good or bad thing?
[13:11] Lukey Woodget: she used many people to write her book
[13:12] Pema Pera: what do you say in those three cases in Italian, Qt?
[13:12] Korel Laloix: Sort of like the English word LOVE... very many uses.
[13:12] Lukey Woodget: played games for her own ends
[13:12] Korel Laloix: Sounds rather human...

[13:12] Raffila Millgrove: she wrote a book. she reads from it sometimes. i heard her read it at my friend's cafe.. the one who did my 6th rezzday party.
[13:12] Korel Laloix: Can you give us an example?
[13:12] Lukey Woodget: used peoples feelings for her research
[13:12] Qt Core: suonare for the music, recitare for the acting and giocare for the games
[13:12] Raffila Millgrove: ah cool QT.. interesting.
[13:13] Pema Pera: I just love the way English uses love for things range from love of food to love of lovers to . . . .
[13:13] Lukey Woodget: from the standpoint of imersive she made relationships in sl to experiment on people
    [13:13] Pema Pera: thanks, Qt!
[13:13] Raffila Millgrove: well honestly i cannot recommend this resulting book. (sighs) i like to recommend. but i can't on that one.
    [13:13] Qt Core: yw pema
[13:14] Qt Core: so for me the question is well separated in we act at being or we play it as a game ?

[13:14] Lukey Woodget: some play it as a game other people see it as a extention of themselfs
    [13:14] Wol Euler: evening all
    [13:14] Pema Pera: hi Wol!
    [13:15] Lukey Woodget: Hi wol
[13:16] Pema Pera: Wol, how was the SL retreat?
    [13:17] Wol Euler: quite good
    [13:17] Wol Euler: surprisingly difficult
    [13:17] Wol Euler: worthwihle
[13:17] Raffila Millgrove: oh i see the distinction you are making, qt. since you are citing different words for "play".
[13:17] Pema Pera: what was the format, roughly?
[13:17] Raffila Millgrove: oh good news Wol.
[13:18] Wol Euler: we started on Friday evening, introducing ourselves and stating our intention/hopes for the retreat
[13:18] Wol Euler: then had two 2-hour sessions each day, typically a 9 minute "pause" and then discussion, then more pauses, more discussion
[13:19] Wol Euler: the hook was YSBS
[13:19] Wol Euler: YS on saturday and BS on sunday
[13:19] Wol Euler: (we had a silent afternoon on Sunday between the sessions)
    [13:19] Pema Pera: wow, intense!
[13:19] Wol Euler: it was pretty hard work, yes
[13:19] Wol Euler: but the hardest part was maintaining the spirit between sessions

[13:20] Korel Laloix: IN Tsalagi it is not that compicated, but Play in Bode' has a lot of words.

[13:20] Wol Euler: there's a reason why retreats are typically run in "third spaces", away from home, and also typically in empty rooms
[13:20] Wol Euler: at home you are at the mercy of your toys and tools and distractions
    [13:20] Pema Pera: !
[13:20] Wol Euler: ignoring them is really hard work.

[13:21] Raffila Millgrove: i read about that in the chat log.. your experiences with trying to ignore the toys and distractions. could you say what is YS BS. what they stand for?

[13:21] Wol Euler: You Seeing, Being Seeing
[13:21] Raffila Millgrove: oh ok. yes. ty
[13:21] Wol Euler: I had to explain/introduce the subjects, and struggled a bit with that too
[13:21] Wol Euler: not sure that I expressed them well

[13:22] Wol Euler: You Seeing is you-in-the-world, the world seen from your perspective (as usual) - but with added dropping :)
[13:22] Wol Euler: try to see the reality not the labels
[13:23] Wol Euler: and situate yourself with / against what you see
    [13:23] Wol Euler: me-and-the-desk, me-and-the-wall ...
[13:23] Wol Euler: Being Seeing is to step away from that and consider yourself as one of the thigns that can be seen
[13:23] Wol Euler: no longer the centre
[13:24] Pema Pera: nice summary, Wol, thank you!

[13:24] Wol Euler: we also did the SY exercise from the Stuttgart retreat, Seeing You :)
[13:24] Wol Euler: imagine yourself as seen by one of those things that YS looked at so carefully
[13:24] Wol Euler: not to transplant your awareness into that object, you remain in yourself
[13:25] Wol Euler: but consider what exactly would be seen

    [13:25] Korel Laloix: Sounds beutiful.
[13:25] Korel Laloix: How long ws your labor?
[13:25] Wol Euler: the object is a part of Being, as are we all, and Being sees everything
[13:25] Pema Pera: yes, a kind of simple subject/object reversal
    [13:25] Wol Euler: exactly
[13:25] Korel Laloix: Sorry wrong box... smiles
[13:25] Wol Euler: heheheh I wondered.

[13:25] Pema Pera: and BS a subject/All reversal
    [13:25] Pema Pera: :-)
[13:26] Pema Pera: (unfortunately, work is calling, have to run . . .)
[13:26] Wol Euler: bye pema, nice to have seen you here today
[13:26] Pema Pera: thanks, Wol, and All !
[13:26] Korel Laloix: SL friend just had her second in RL a couple of weeks ago.
    [13:26] Pema Pera: congratulations!
    [13:26] Wol Euler: yay :)
    [13:26] Pema Pera: bfn
[13:26] Korel Laloix: Healthy happy boy.
    [13:26] Qt Core: bye Pema
    [13:27] Korel Laloix: Ciao

[13:28] Wol Euler: what were you talking about earlier? Play?
    [13:28] Korel Laloix: Yes..
[13:28] Korel Laloix: Lukey commented on Playing SL.
[13:28] Korel Laloix: Not sure that would be the word.. but it coul be.

[13:28] Korel Laloix: And as Pema said.. how about Playing RL?

[13:28] Lukey Woodget: I made a mistake and said it was my bad
[13:29] Korel Laloix: Not a mistake.
[13:29] Wol Euler: no, a valid and deep philosophical question, I agree
    [13:29] Korel Laloix: A goodpoint
[13:29] Korel Laloix: I mean there are games you can play in here.
    [13:29] Wol Euler nods.
[13:30] Wol Euler: and there are certainly games people play in RL

[13:30] Lukey Woodget: I supose it might be said play the game but respect interactions with the people

[13:30] Korel Laloix: But to me, this is like walking into a bad or other social place.
[13:32] Wol Euler: respect is significant, yes
[13:32] Wol Euler: there isn't a lot of respect between players in most online game-worlds
[13:32] Korel Laloix: bar or other social place.
    [13:32] Korel Laloix: True...
[13:33] Korel Laloix: I tried WoW and found people jsut generall patronizeing or hostile.
    [13:33] Wol Euler: exactly :)

[13:33] Lukey Woodget: the point in sl is to interact though
    [13:33] Wol Euler nods.
[13:33] Raffila Millgrove: you find it hostile here. was that said?
[13:33] Raffila Millgrove: did someone say it's hostile in SL?
[13:33] Korel Laloix: No, hostile in WoW.
[13:34] Qt Core: that's depend if one play sl or come in sl
[13:34] Wol Euler: here, new players are welcomed and helped; there, they are ritually insulted
[13:34] Korel Laloix: But I have found some deep hostility here though.
[13:34] Korel Laloix: But that is very much not the norm.
    [13:34] Wol Euler nods.

[13:34] Raffila Millgrove: there's lot os places to play here where the combat aspect does make it a bit hostile, but most of the socilizing places i have been.. lot of nice people to meet.

[13:35] Lukey Woodget: I dont think there is enough interaction in sl
    [13:35] Wol Euler listens.
[13:35] Raffila Millgrove: what kind of interaction are you looking for Lukey? could you expand on that?
[13:35] Qt Core: well if not when battling when one has to be hostile ;? -)

[13:36] Lukey Woodget: As sl is primeraly a place for meeting people there seem to be a lot of people who dont want to interact
[13:36] Korel Laloix: There are some nasty difuctional people in SL for sure.. but luckily they are easy to avoid.
    [13:36] Wol Euler: sure
[13:36] Wol Euler: more easily than in RL actually
[13:36] Korel Laloix: Just like RL>

    [13:36] Lukey Woodget: for example
[13:36] Raffila Millgrove: here in PaB the people seem very willing to open up and share and be very intersested in talking with the newcomer.
[13:37] Raffila Millgrove listens for Lukey's example.
[13:37] Lukey Woodget: if you look at events its very hard to find a place where people are chatting
[13:38] Lukey Woodget: there should be lots of more places like this
    [13:38] Wol Euler nods.

[13:38] Wol Euler: many clubs are silent, yes; people talk 1 to 1 in IM (or not at all)
[13:38] Wol Euler: it's very odd
[13:39] Lukey Woodget: I try quite a bit over the years to chat with people
[13:39] Lukey Woodget: it has been very hard

[13:39] Qt Core: always amazed me... for just listeming to music SL is quite an heavy player...
    [13:39] Wol Euler: heheheh
[13:39] Lukey Woodget: yes I think a lot of people use it as a screen saver
[13:40] Qt Core: visualizing someone sitting in front of SL reading a XIX century book
[13:40] Lukey Woodget: I just am amazed at how this has been wasted on sex clubs and discos
    [13:40] Wol Euler grins.
[13:41] Qt Core: probably for them wasn't a waste of time
[13:41] Lukey Woodget: there are more people into BDSM on this game than wanting to chat like normal humans
[13:41] Lukey Woodget: sorry game sliped in there again
    [13:41] Wol Euler smiles.
    [13:42] Lukey Woodget: social media

[13:42] Wol Euler: the Lab certainly thinks this is "just" social media
[13:42] Qt Core: would they be able (or willing) to do BDSM in rl more than chatting in rl ?
[13:42] Wol Euler: probably they can't do BDSM in RL, or don't dare, or don't know how to start
[13:43] Wol Euler: many people use SL to learn how to do stuff
[13:43] Lukey Woodget: who wants to see mesh tits anyhow for crists sake it makes me ponder on humanity
[13:43] Korel Laloix: Funny enough, I joined Sl to do a paper on SL sex.
[13:44] Wol Euler: does it make you ponder more or less intensely than the monsoon flood of porn everywhere on the internet?
[13:44] Korel Laloix: And asked some questions about aht.
    [13:44] Wol Euler listens.
[13:44] Korel Laloix: I have my reserach notecard draft if you want to have a read.

[13:44] Raffila Millgrove: ok well.. the bdsm thing.. I am deeply involved in femdom.. that is female dominant communities.. and the value of the experiences,... the intensity of relationships, the education and cross over between sl and rl.. i can attest that it is not "play" or "pretend" is very real and authentic.

[13:45] Lukey Woodget: im not saying its compleatly wrong it just dont seem to be ballenced
[13:46] Qt Core: i had the mis-fortune to tp into a bdsm (or something like it) my second day in sl... doubted i would stay in sl after that
    [13:46] Qt Core: :)
    [13:47] Korel Laloix: lol
[13:47] Lukey Woodget: what im saying is its all ok but not on every line of events
[13:47] Korel Laloix: There are some very silly and frightening things in here for sure.
[13:47] Raffila Millgrove: there are as many sims devoted . far more probalby to all kinds of sexual exploits.. vanilla. not bdsm. I don't understand why bdsm is cited as so awful or unbalanced.

[13:48] Lukey Woodget: if people want to do that its up to them but not like it is
[13:48] Raffila Millgrove: like what is?
[13:49] Raffila Millgrove: like is is? what do you mean.. like it is? I feel like you are dismissing a whole large and very mixed community of people as unbalanced.
[13:49] Lukey Woodget: all over every other event

[13:49] Wol Euler: plenty of artists and singers and philosophers would disagree with you about that, lukey
[13:49] Korel Laloix: But you have to admit Raffi, the community has a strange and varied reputation RL as well...
[13:49] Korel Laloix: Some deseerved, but most not.

[13:49] Raffila Millgrove: well perhaps because these communities have weathered the storms .. of loss of people... that all of SL has experienced.. and come thru strong because they provide events people want to attend.

[13:50] Korel Laloix: So you get the same sort of judgement here amplified like everything else.
[13:50] Raffila Millgrove: both artistic communities and bdsm ones are not trying to make a living here.. they've maintained some very avid leaders and members in their groups.

[13:50] Wol Euler: I agree that it's unfortunate that people prefer nude beaches to philosophy lectures, but then it is just as unfortunate that people in RL prefer sugary junkfood to vegetables

[13:51] Lukey Woodget: I could say I want 8 slaves to do what I want them to do for me and pimp them out to is that ok
[13:51] Wol Euler: if the slaves are willing, yes
    [13:51] Wol Euler: IMHO
[13:51] Raffila Millgrove: i don't think it's unfortunate that people prefer a nude beach... because you can find philosophy.. inrl quite easily.. if you want to .. but.. exploring sexuality in America is not so easy...
[13:51] Wol Euler: yes, raffi, I realized as I said it taht it was a bad example :)
[13:52] Wol Euler: or rather not bad enough

[13:52] Korel Laloix: And franky Wol, I have fond some of the best converstations at those sorts of places... philosphy sims in SL really arent that stimulating.
[13:52] Korel Laloix: PaB is a notable exception.

[13:52] Lukey Woodget: we have to have standards that are above animals or what have we become
[13:52] Raffila Millgrove: this putting judgement on people's need to experiment and explore facets of themselves. that aren't possible in rl.. that are much safer here.. and less risky... doesn't go down too well with me.
[13:53] Wol Euler: agreed, korel and raffi
[13:54] Wol Euler goes to nude beaches too :-P

[13:54] Raffila Millgrove: people are animals, LUkey, because they want to explore their sexuality, this lowers them somehow to "animal"? We are animals. just human ones.
[13:54] Korel Laloix: SL does bring different ways to fthink to attention though.
[13:54] Korel Laloix: Which can be good and bad.
[13:54] Lukey Woodget: people most of the time going into the sex indestory are exploited
[13:55] Wol Euler: in RL, yes
[13:55] Wol Euler: here I beg to say the answer is no
[13:55] Wol Euler: because nobody is in sex in SL to earn a living
[13:55] Wol Euler: that's crazy, look at the prices
[13:55] Lukey Woodget: a lot of people are grooming for rl encounters
    [13:55] Raffila Millgrove: so what?
[13:56] Raffila Millgrove: if you prefer not to indulge in any sexual exploring, not need to visit places where that is the general idea.
[13:56] Raffila Millgrove: no need to go there.

[13:56] Korel Laloix: I think there are a lot of reasons people use SL in an erotic context.
[13:57] Lukey Woodget: like i said each to there own but im disapointed in it and the way it has gone
[13:57] Korel Laloix: For me, I have some very specific itches that I can safely scratch in SL.
[13:57] Raffila Millgrove: evidentally it's not each to their own--it's disappointing to you personally that a lot of people want to do it.
[13:58] Korel Laloix: And I think there are a lot of other people have a simular draw.

[13:58] Raffila Millgrove: here you can learn how to explore safely and if you want to venture real life, you have a much better idea of how to do this.. than if you'd never come to SL.. a much safer way to try things real life.
[13:59] Lukey Woodget: why would you even bring up the word safe
[13:59] Wol Euler: because it's relevant.
[13:59] Lukey Woodget: if its such a wholsome activity
[13:59] Qt Core: when it i so easy to find clothes that fit perfectly all going around nude, that is the real waste of SL ;-)

[14:00] Raffila Millgrove: because bsdm requires understanding and education. it is full of risks. If you don't know
[14:00] Korel Laloix: Because there are some very unsafe people on the fringes of the RL community.. and I have had a lot of dealing with them.
[14:00] Wol Euler: lukey, people get the shit beaten out of the in RL for wearing wrong clothes. That is waht "safe" means.
[14:00] Raffila Millgrove: what they are.. you are putting yourself into a dangerous place without any tools to protect yourself and enjoy yourself.
[14:01] Wol Euler: ever heard of "queer-bashing"?
[14:01] Raffila Millgrove: consent, trust, safety, these are the bedrocks of bdsm education. we teach them every week hours on end. all over sl.
[14:01] Lukey Woodget: thats a old word
[14:01] Wol Euler: and does that mean it doesn#t happen any more?
[14:02] Korel Laloix: WEll, I have been offered gang-rape to teach me to "like cock".
[14:02] Korel Laloix: It still happens a lot sadly still.
    [14:02] Wol Euler: exactly.
[14:02] Korel Laloix: Luckily I can outrun most idiots.

[14:02] Raffila Millgrove: someone my exhibit here didn't get the notecard attached. it happens to be about fluidity of gender and commemorates the memory of those who have died, been brutally murdered, for being different. The international day of remembrance is this month.

    [14:02] Lukey Woodget: lol
[14:03] Wol Euler: oh yes, thanks for the reminder. I'll go and see that after.
[14:03] Lukey Woodget: running fast is a good thing
[14:03] Wol Euler: and raffi, if you give bleu a copy of the notecard, she'll put it into the plinth to distribute to people
[14:03] Wol Euler: or me, I can do it too, I probably have the right permissions
[14:03] Raffila Millgrove: yes i saw her at the Guardian meet i think and totally forgot i needed to get that to her.
[14:04] Raffila Millgrove: oh cool wol, let me pass it to you.
[14:04] Raffila Millgrove: ty for thinking of it.
    [14:04] Wol Euler: my pleasure
[14:04] Lukey Woodget: Its definetly sad people dieing for being diferent
    [14:04] Wol Euler nods.

[14:04] Korel Laloix: My church has ministires for non-straight people in hostile lands.
[14:05] Wol Euler: ty, I'll try that later on
[14:05] Korel Laloix: A lot of that coordination is essentially done in secret to protect people.
    [14:05] Wol Euler nods.
[14:05] Korel Laloix: The African congrigations are particularly at risk.
[14:05] Lukey Woodget: live and let live thats what i say
[14:06] Lukey Woodget: im off now i have caused enough trobble for one day
[14:06] Korel Laloix: Easy words to say.
[14:06] Korel Laloix: No nearly enough... smiles
    [14:06] Wol Euler: awwww
[14:07] Wol Euler: always welcome, lukey
    [14:07] Lukey Woodget: hehe ty
[14:07] Lukey Woodget: see you later alegators
    [14:07] Korel Laloix: Ciao bello
[14:07] Qt Core: it wouldn't be fun otherwise, Lukey
    [14:07] Wol Euler smiles.
[14:07] Korel Laloix: Interesting chat today.
    [14:07] Wol Euler: yeah
[14:07] Korel Laloix: Thank you for it.
[14:08] Wol Euler: well, thank you.

[14:08] Korel Laloix: One of the things I like about PaB.. different perspectives.. even if I dont agree sometimes.
    [14:08] Wol Euler nods.
[14:08] Korel Laloix: (or most of the time even)...
    [14:08] Korel Laloix smiles
[14:09] Korel Laloix: We were talking about the word play while ago.
[14:09] Korel Laloix: And the different words in Italian.
[14:09] Qt Core: we may end up with a gay prime minister next year: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vendola
[14:10] Qt Core: (but still have hate sex crime)
[14:10] Wol Euler: well, the US has a black president and racial hate crimes ....
[14:10] Wol Euler: all we can hope for is that things continue to slowly improve
[14:11] Korel Laloix: Getting worse under Obama for sure... but that is a different topic...

[14:11] Qt Core: now we just need a gay black atheist woman for Un secretary...
    [14:11] Wol Euler grins.
[14:12] Korel Laloix: I know the perfect candiate funny enough...
[14:12] Korel Laloix: But not something she would do.
[14:12] Qt Core: too many men in the UN delegations ?
[14:13] Wol Euler: my dears, it's been a long and tiring day, I am going to head to bed.
[14:13] Wol Euler: goodnight, and thanks for the playful discussion
[14:13] Korel Laloix: My opinion of the UN is sectional.... some parts are so useuless, others are a good idea but moving ery slowly.
    [14:13] Korel Laloix: Take care..
[14:13] Korel Laloix: Thanks for the chat.
[14:13] Wol Euler: I'll do the notecard first though :)
[14:14] Qt Core: bye Wol, sleep well
[14:14] Raffila Millgrove: bye Wol, bye Qt, Bye Kori
    [14:14] Korel Laloix: Take care...
    [14:14] Qt Core: bye Raffilla

[14:14] Raffila Millgrove: i gotta remember to get my voice on.. if i am going to read the poem.. i just know i am going to forget to do it.
[14:14] Raffila Millgrove: to go and do it.
[14:15] Qt Core: being a more a fan of trek society/philosophy than the trek movies/series i have to believe on something like the Un ;-)
    [14:16] Korel Laloix: The Un?
    [14:16] Qt Core: UN
[14:16] Korel Laloix: Oh OK... thought it might be a Star Trek character.
[14:16] Korel Laloix: Still can't keep Start Trek/Wars straight in my mind.
[14:16] Korel Laloix: Trek is with Darth Vader?
[14:17] Korel Laloix: or do I hve it backwards again?
[14:17] Qt Core: the other :-)
    [14:17] Korel Laloix: Crap.
[14:17] Korel Laloix: That is right... Wars has CheWbacca.
    [14:17] Korel Laloix: lol
[14:17] Korel Laloix: The only way I can remember it.
[14:17] Qt Core: trek=magic like technology, wars tecnho magic ;-)
[14:17] Korel Laloix: And not that well it seems.
[14:18] Korel Laloix: That is not a help to me.. sorry...
[14:19] Qt Core: ok, i sometimes (or too often) breath in fictional universes
[14:19] Korel Laloix: I just don't do fiction well.. and SciFi even less so.
[14:19] Raffila Millgrove: what i am still here? boy somedays i really get confused. lol
[14:19] Raffila Millgrove: ok i say bye again.
    [14:19] Korel Laloix: CIao bella
[14:19] Qt Core: bye again Raffi :)
[14:19] Raffila Millgrove: ty qt for telling us about those 3 plays. i really liked knowing about it.
    [14:20] Qt Core: yw

[14:20] Korel Laloix: In Bode' there are several words for Play.
[14:21] Korel Laloix: To play like pretend or play dead.. is kazo
[14:21] Korel Laloix: To play ball is pekwak wtowe
[14:21] Korel Laloix: But to play a nonsport is tadi
[14:22] Korel Laloix: But just to play in general.. like at a part or in the sand is chikazo
[14:22] Korel Laloix: TO play with someone is widokwa
[14:22] Korel Laloix: Not sure about teh right one for a musical instrament though.
[14:24] Qt Core: sometimes it seels tha english has no word to spare
[14:24] Korel Laloix: It amazes me how much English I still do not know.
[14:25] Qt Core: *seems (like with verbs coniugation)

[14:26] Korel Laloix: But, I do find it easier to get accross some concept in English for sure.
[14:26] Qt Core: sometimes i end up make them too complicated trying to mimic italian coniugations
[14:27] Qt Core: (but i get annoyed when after a few hours of english chatting i get italian verbs wrong for some time
[14:28] Korel Laloix: Yes, it does sort of rub one langauge wrong when you use the other a lot.
[14:29] Korel Laloix: OK.. I am off for a bit, but will be back in a bit.
[14:29] Korel Laloix: Thanks for the chat.
[14:29] Qt Core: thank you, Korel, logging off myself
