Yakuzza Lethecus: does text to speech exist for firestorm ?
    Zen Arado: no idea
Yakuzza Lethecus: just been thinking that you like to use voicetyping but the other way might sometimes be interesting to try as well, just a thought
Wol Euler: oh, sorry, I only just figured out what you meant
Zen Arado: problem with Firestorm the chat window is so small
Wol Euler: I don't think there is a text to speech, but I haven't actually searched for one
Zen Arado: if it makes mistakes I miss them
Zen Arado: the ytext is larger in the window above where you type
    Wol Euler: checking that ...
Wol Euler: in firestorm you can make the text larget or smaller (two stages only)
Wol Euler: both on the main screen and in the popup Conversation window
Zen Arado: yeh but even at largest setting I find text where you type small
Wol Euler: yeah, it is small, I'll grant you that
Wol Euler: very limited range of sizes
Zen Arado: hmm slightly larger at the bottom of screen
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hola
    Zen Arado: Hi Eliza ;)
    Qt Core: hi Eliza

    Zen Arado: great little book
Eliza Madrigal: Oh :) sweet book
    Wol Euler smiles.

    Agatha Macbeth: Yay
Zen Arado: it's my 5th birthday on Sunday
    Wol Euler: party!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Agatha Macbeth: What are you doing over there Liz?
Eliza Madrigal: I am trying a new thing of listening not talking much... thought sitting in the back would hellp ^^
    Zen Arado: heh
    Wol Euler smiles.
Agatha Macbeth: Best of luck with that :p
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh
Zen Arado: you'll never manage it :)
    Wol Euler: awwwwwww
    Wol Euler: cruel japes
Eliza Madrigal: :::::shows great and unusual resolve:::::
    Wol Euler applauds!
Agatha Macbeth ponders a non-talking Liz
Eliza Madrigal: :::plunders for gestures so she can channel energies::::
Agatha Macbeth: Bit like a non-fatal nuclear warhead
Wol Euler wonders whether third-person emoting counts as talking
    Zen Arado: chatting addiction
Eliza Madrigal: OM ::don't mind me:::::
    Agatha Macbeth: Addictions eh
Eliza Madrigal: (it only works if everyone else talks)
Agatha Macbeth: So how is everyone?
    Wol Euler chuckles.
    Zen Arado: exactly
Wol Euler: somewhat ragged, had a stressy day
    Wol Euler: and you?
    Agatha Macbeth: Aww
    Eliza Madrigal: ::emotes concern::::
    Agatha Macbeth ruffles your antlers
Wol Euler expresses gratitude and warm affection
Zen Arado: is boxy still around?
    Zen Arado: haven't seen him
Yakuzza Lethecus: last time that i saw him was 2 weeks ago in the voice session and afterwards :/
Wol Euler: haven't seen him in ages. I sent him an IM a few days back, no reply yet
Agatha Macbeth: No, but haven't been here much
Eliza Madrigal: for me too... exchanged one IM but it was during SL retreat
Agatha Macbeth: I'm sure he'll be back in one form or another
    Wol Euler: I hope so
    Zen Arado: yes me too
Wol Euler: as Sheldon said to Leonard, "Irritating as you are, you're still my little buddy."
Eliza Madrigal: :) I do hope Boxy realizes that
    Zen Arado: :)
Eliza Madrigal: that expression of feelings over one thing doesn't carry into feelings for 'him'
Wol Euler: I've told him, whether or not he hears/believes it .......
    Wol Euler nods.
Agatha Macbeth: Even when he's at his most annoying i still miss him
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: onigokko
    Wol Euler: friday!
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
    Zen Arado: Black Friday Yay
Wol Euler: also known as Buy Nothing Day.
    Yakuzza Lethecus: stop
Agatha Macbeth: I had to do the shopping
Eliza Madrigal: :) I had to buy some copies n food
    Zen Arado: resisting Apple mini
Eliza Madrigal: btw, all trying not to talk aside, I appreciate Boxy's passionate determination to be heard - and want to say I admire that, even if it took me some days to sort out my off-the-cuff feelings
    Eliza Madrigal: {done}
Zen Arado: yes it;s hard to go against the grain
Agatha Macbeth: As Rory Gallagher said
    Zen Arado: who's he?
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: oh wow, a musician that Zen doesn't know :)
Agatha Macbeth: He was your part of the world Zen
    Agatha Macbeth: Belfast i think
Agatha Macbeth: Sadly no longer with us i believe
    Zen Arado: 1995

Zen Arado: lots of musicians I haven't heard of
Zen Arado: not too familiar with him
Wol Euler: sorry to be flippant, zen, but it was the first time we'd ever stumped you :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: that song is a bit activating :)
Agatha Macbeth: No DJ is perfect...
Yakuzza Lethecus: i was a bit more tired before
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Zen Arado: I just know what I like :)
    Agatha Macbeth: in your wardrobe
Zen Arado: almost heavy metal that
Agatha Macbeth: Naww, Genesis could never do metal
    Agatha Macbeth: Too refined
    Wol Euler nods.
Zen Arado: he was in Genesis?
    Agatha Macbeth: Who?
    Wol Euler: O.O
Wol Euler: I don't think so
Agatha Macbeth: Now I'm lost again

    Agatha Macbeth: Yes
Wol Euler: oh, yes; when did we switch to Phil?
Zen Arado: I hate Phil Collins
    Zen Arado: :)
Agatha Macbeth: He speaks very well of you ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal: ::cries:::
    Wol Euler smiles.
Zen Arado: Aggers did a switchover
Wol Euler leans over and takes Eliza's hand
    Eliza Madrigal: :::whaaah:::
Agatha Macbeth: Last time I saw him he said 'How's old Zen doin these days?'
    Zen Arado: no he didn't
    Agatha Macbeth: Ok he didn't
Eliza Madrigal: :::feels composed by furry paw::::
Zen Arado: he said 'Is that old B.... still alive?
    Wol Euler smiles.
    Agatha Macbeth: Awwww
Eliza Madrigal: Visitor at the door... oh goodness... my daughter's and their long haired guys... lol....
Zen Arado: I had to listen to Phil Collins on a long car trip once

    Qt Core: bye eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: hugs, ty
    Wol Euler: heheheh
Agatha Macbeth: Have to be careful of those long haired guys
Wol Euler: young guys have long hair again?
Zen Arado: imagine having long hair in Florida
Agatha Macbeth: Must be a bit warm
    Zen Arado: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUv-4...F_W0oXNX82QHzm
    Zen Arado: especially in July
Agatha Macbeth: I can see Strannik on the radar, haven't seen him in ages
Zen Arado: before my time I think

    Zen Arado: yeh good
Agatha Macbeth: That time of year again
Zen Arado: I usually start to feel lethargic
    Zen Arado: maybe slight SAD
Agatha Macbeth: It's sitting in front of the open fire all day that does it
    Agatha Macbeth: Roasting chestnuts
Zen Arado: nah haven't got one
    Zen Arado: only gas boiler
    Agatha Macbeth: How unromantic
    Zen Arado: I know
Agatha Macbeth: What's the world coming to?
Wol Euler: can you roast chestnuts on a gas boiler?
    Wol Euler: tricky
Zen Arado: couldn't deal with coal and ashes anyway now
    Agatha Macbeth: Yes, the downside
Zen Arado: have never had roasted chestnuts
Agatha Macbeth: Oh I have em every year
Agatha Macbeth: But usually micrwave them :p

    Zen Arado: Rory Gallagher
Agatha Macbeth: Not for your feet
Zen Arado: you wouldn't feel it
Zen Arado: if you have enough faith
Agatha Macbeth: 'Fire walk with me'
    Strannik Zipper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0if87pp8m8
Wol Euler: heheh it is so appropriate that you'd be a Twin Peaks fan
    Agatha Macbeth grins
    Agatha Macbeth: How so?
Wol Euler: because I am too
    Agatha Macbeth: Ah
Wol Euler bought a TV to watch Twin Peaks.
Zen Arado: I watched some of those
Agatha Macbeth: As good a reason as one could wish
Wol Euler: saw the first episode at a friend's house, said "I have to see this", and bought a set on my way home that same day
Strannik Zipper: I do not want to have David Lynches dreams in my head!

Lukey Woodget: I had them from the supermarket
Lukey Woodget: but a supermarket never made a good berry
Agatha Macbeth: Whenever I picked wild ones I always got pricked
Strannik Zipper: eating em right off the bush is the best
    Agatha Macbeth: Thorny little buggers
Zen Arado: ah I know this one 'Nadine'
Lukey Woodget: what do they taste like

Strannik Zipper: one Christmas, probably around 1908 - he got a fresh orange in his stocking
Lukey Woodget: oh yes home grown rasberrys qt lovely they prick to :)
Lukey Woodget: but well worth it
Strannik Zipper: I live in California - I am totally spoiled for fruit
Zen Arado: Ireland isn't a good climate for fruit
Qt Core: i had many fruit plants in that garden
    Lukey Woodget: what about gooseberrys
    Zen Arado: hmm maybe
Lukey Woodget: did you have them

Lukey Woodget: cant be to greedy
    Lukey Woodget: :)
Strannik Zipper: does time go faster because we do not drink it in so fully as before?
Wol Euler: I think it goes faster because fewer things are new to us, we have fewer opportuinities to lay down a new memory
Zen Arado: the more you live in the present it slows down
Zen Arado: becuae you are more here for it
Lukey Woodget: there is a scientific equasion for it
Strannik Zipper: so living in the present is the secret to a longer life, regardless of what the clock says ;-)
