The Guardian for this meeting was Yakuzza Lethecus. The comments are by Yakuzza Lethecus.

    Yakuzza Lethecus: nabend wol
    Wol Euler: nabend yaku
Wol Euler: ah, winter is here :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: got to shout for snow
    Wol Euler: magical!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hmm how to shout again
    Yakuzza Lethecus: like /shout ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: 9snow4
Wol Euler: like that, I guess :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: but this did not trigger the other snow dispensers
Wol Euler: there's also some trick with the Enter key, like shift-enter or ctrl-enter
    Wol Euler: shouting!
    Wol Euler: yes, ctrl-enter
    Yakuzza Lethecus: that worked :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: thx
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hello bees
Yakuzza Lethecus: have you been here before ?
Wol Euler: hello bees, nice to see you again
    Wol Euler: heheh, no worries
Bees Ballinger: and yes... i remember the cat too:-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: wb then, just making it freeze, just because you came with a summerdress
    Wol Euler smiles.
Bees Ballinger: i wear always the same dress.... always...
Bees Ballinger: i have only one in SL
Wol Euler: simplifies the wardrobe, I guess
Bees Ballinger: voilà..... some different from RL....
Bees Ballinger: that's the nice thing about SL...
    Wol Euler: hello qt
    Qt Core: hi all
Bees Ballinger: no worries about what to wear...
    Bees Ballinger: hello...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey qt
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good evening
Qt Core: ... and if you do you can even don't wear anything at all
    Bees Ballinger: true...
Bees Ballinger: i always wonder how this group is structured... are there any discussion points?
Wol Euler: we have theme sessions once in a while, those are veyr structured
Wol Euler: otherwise there is a suggested theme of the week
    Bees Ballinger: ah ok...;
    Wol Euler: currently "hindsight"
Bees Ballinger: i am not so often on SL...`
Wol Euler: but sometimes we just sit and talk
    Wol Euler: especially on Fridays
Qt Core: yes, but sometimes due to the diverse nature of the people here it may seem there is no topic as we explore iun so many and different directions
Bees Ballinger: yep... after a long workweek
    Wol Euler: exactly
Bees Ballinger: most of you know each other since a long time maybe?
Wol Euler: the three of us have known each other for several years, as it happens :)
Wol Euler: but people join all the time
Wol Euler: and drift away too, sadly
Wol Euler: but that happens in RL too
Bees Ballinger: yes.... that happens... probably quicker in SL though
Qt Core: (just spent few minutes watching the profile of a couple of people i miss)
    Yakuzza Lethecus misses boxy
    Yakuzza Lethecus: but also others
Bees Ballinger: i don't see anybody of my beginning anymore...
Bees Ballinger: and was away myself from SL for a long time...
Bees Ballinger: i think that's good actually...
    Wol Euler: how so?
Bees Ballinger: well.... it's good to spend more time at social interaction in RL... see people in real
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Bees Ballinger: and i think one grows up in SL...
Qt Core: is it ? ;-)
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, sl can even have the effect that you visit places in rl too
    Wol Euler: like Venice :)
    Bees Ballinger: that's true!
    Wol Euler: or Berlin
Bees Ballinger: or vancouver like i did...
Wol Euler: we had meetups in both those cities recently
Bees Ballinger: it feels like the ads on tv.. silence.. or pee time... those stops
    Yakuzza Lethecus: haha :)
    Wol Euler smiles.
Wol Euler: I think of it more as an anti-ad :)
Bees Ballinger: anyway.... as you three are friends....i feel a bit like an elephant ...
Yakuzza Lethecus: never heard that comparison but it gave me a good smile
Wol Euler: pause for clearing the mind, not filling it with junk
Qt Core: pee time for the mind, just dropping scories ?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bruce
    Wol Euler: hello bruce
    Bees Ballinger: hi
Wol Euler: elephant? never heard that expression before
Bees Ballinger: well... it's a dutch expression.......
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Bees Ballinger: so one of you is from Berlin?
Wol Euler: actually no, we just met there :)
Bruce Mowbray: "Feeling like an elephant"... Is that like feeling clumbsy or feeling out of place.... or feeling like an embarrassment? As in the expression "ignoring the elephant in the room..."
Bees Ballinger: to me the nicest most dynamic city in europe! i love it!
Yakuzza Lethecus: and it was in berlin due to a guy from russia who organized
    Bees Ballinger: yep Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: kk, thanks.
Yakuzza Lethecus: so facinating how cross border the interaction in sl is
    Wol Euler nods.
    Bees Ballinger: that's absolutely true!
Bruce Mowbray: Very few "borders" in SL, actually.
Bees Ballinger: and also... i met people here i would never meet in RL
Qt Core: rl borders in sl are easier than sl borders in sl itself ;-)
Wol Euler: that is definitely true
Wol Euler: and not just because of the timezones
Bruce Mowbray: although there are differences from sim to sim, borders in RL has a whole different meaning.
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, time is a bigger issue.
Wol Euler: you can meet people here, get to know people, whom you would never speak to in RL
Wol Euler: because of age or class or whatever
Bruce Mowbray: That's for sure, Wol.
Bees Ballinger: to me that's the most intersting thing Wol
Bees Ballinger: but do you think friendships will last?
Bees Ballinger: i mean in SL?
Wol Euler: I see no reason why they shouldn't
Wol Euler: as long as SL itself lasts
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey bleu
Wol Euler: and/or as long as we find another way to meet
    Wol Euler: hello bleu
Wol Euler: wow, very unusual avatar today :)
    Bleu Oleander: hiya :)
    Qt Core: hi Bleu
Bleu Oleander: if you mean me ... ty Wol :)
Bees Ballinger: hiya... i smile... europeans won't say that quickly...
    Wol Euler: I did!
    Bleu Oleander: :)
Bruce Mowbray: In a way, SL friendships that "last" might be considered more stable than in RL -- because in SL all you have to do is push a few buttons and .. poof, a friend is gone. So, if friends stick around in SL, it probably means something "lasting."
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Bleu!
Wol Euler: well, even using the word the way you did, Bees
Wol Euler: whichever way you meant it
Wol Euler: I see no inherent reason for it not to last
Wol Euler: (the endurability of friendships made in SL)
Bees Ballinger: well Wol... i saw many friends come and go in SL...
Wol Euler: ... and have you never made and lost a friend in RL?
Bees Ballinger: and i was out of SL for two years....
Wol Euler: perhaps the difference is the speed with which we say "friend" here
Bees Ballinger: oh yes... of course i have... everybody looses friends in RL too...
Bleu Oleander: what brought you back?
Bees Ballinger: i wanted to see how it evolved
Bees Ballinger: and my hubbie is away for long times:-)
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Wol Euler: ah :)
Bees Ballinger: so it's nice entertainment
Bees Ballinger: and it's a unique way to meet people.. an esay way
    Bees Ballinger: easy*
Yakuzza Lethecus is thinking of the close down of mica somehow when evolement was mentioned
Yakuzza Lethecus: more like a devolution lately
    Bruce Mowbray misses MICA.
Bees Ballinger: and the first months on SL were the most fascinating though...
Yakuzza Lethecus: when i first came to pab the kira meeting place was in the air, the kira cafe was in baikun and storm was building the dome for the relam
Bleu Oleander: seems like a long time ago
Bees Ballinger: we had a discussion group during my first two years.
Bruce Mowbray listens for historical reflections...
Bees Ballinger: do someone know when Kira started?
Bees Ballinger: i think it was in 2008?
Bruce Mowbray: Our fifth anniversary will be April 1st.
    Bees Ballinger: exactly
    Wol Euler: hello san
Yakuzza Lethecus: ähm kira is older and not based in sl as i recall, none of us is related i think
    Santoshima Resident: hello
    Bleu Oleander: hi san :)
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, San!
    Bees Ballinger: hello san
Bees Ballinger: thotica is older i think...
    Qt Core: hi san
Wol Euler: I'm sorry, I have to go to bed. I am sooo tired :(
Wol Euler: goodnight all, take care
    Qt Core: 'night Wol
    Bruce Mowbray: G'nite, Woly!
    Bleu Oleander: night Wol
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good night wol
Bees Ballinger: it's very quiet here....:-)
Bees Ballinger: ciao Wol... sleep well...
Bruce Mowbray: Can you hear the snow falling?
    Bruce Mowbray: onigokko
    Bleu Oleander: :)
    Bruce Mowbray: stop
    Bees Ballinger: more!
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Kori!
Bleu Oleander: back to work .. take care all
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey kori
    Bruce Mowbray: onigokko
Yakuzza Lethecus: you must have listened to bruce onigokko and came to stup us immediately ?
    Santoshima Resident: bye bleu
    Bruce Mowbray: stop
Bruce Mowbray: Are you aware, Bees, that Friday sessions at this hour can get a bit raucous?
    Bees Ballinger: i am listening....
Bruce Mowbray: "raucous..." Is that the word I want?
Bees Ballinger: what does rocous mean?
    Santoshima Resident: raucous
Bruce Mowbray: raucous... means a bit wild and unruly...
    Bruce Mowbray: like this:
    Bruce Mowbray: onigokko
Santoshima Resident: bees, have you got an ogigokko animation?
Santoshima Resident: you can ask bruce for one
    Yakuzza Lethecus: aflac
    Bees Ballinger: no..
Bruce Mowbray: kk. I will find you an oni...
    Yakuzza Lethecus: stop
    Santoshima Resident: { whether you want to use it is another issue }
    Bruce Mowbray: stop
    Bruce Mowbray: aflac
Korel Laloix: This snow is so horrid
Bees Ballinger: i was such a long time away from SL i forgot how to use this stuff
    Qt Core: hi red
Santoshima Resident: this snow IS a little lumpen
Santoshima Resident: has it come to this?
    Santoshima Resident: oh well
    Santoshima Resident: clap clap clap
Santoshima Resident: uh, what was that?
    Yakuzza Lethecus: the aflac ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: kori: you don´t happen to have a virtual bullriding device in ur inventory ?
    Korel Laloix: Nope.
    Santoshima Resident: { like what ?}
    Korel Laloix: Sorry.
Korel Laloix: It is amazing how the snow.. even realizing that it is not real, changes this place so much.
Bruce Mowbray: I tried to give three different oni's to Bees, after I'd detached them all, but with no success.
Bruce Mowbray: Snow changes everything. . . SL or RL, Kori.
    Korel Laloix: Both.
Korel Laloix: To me it is depressing.
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Korel Laloix: Cold in several ways.
Yakuzza Lethecus: well only when driving it´s annoying
Korel Laloix: But obviously that is not the case with everone.
Bruce Mowbray: Snow is winter's was of saying "Grass".
    Bruce Mowbray: way*
Korel Laloix: Or a way of saying "hey stupid, move south!"
Bruce Mowbray: Speaking of which, the mountains of California are expe3cted to get about two feet of snow this weekend.
Bees Ballinger: i love the seasons...i was a long time in asia... always hot and humid.... i love love love the snow!
Bruce Mowbray: I can tell that Kori has never gone sledding!
Bruce Mowbray: I do too, Bees, except when I need to go somewhere and the roads are covered deep.
Bruce Mowbray: But that is rare, anywmore.
Bruce Mowbray: Now, I enjoy being snow-bound!
Bees Ballinger: oh yesss;... it's so beautiful! the whiteness..pure
Korel Laloix: Just cold wet and miserable.
Santoshima Resident: that might be you! not so much the snow
    Yakuzza Lethecus: iceskating ?
Bruce Mowbray: well, Kori, it is also COZY, if you have a fine fire and a dog's warm fur to snuggle in.
    Bees Ballinger: hockey?
    Korel Laloix: lol
Bruce Mowbray: and a bit of mulled wine, of course.
Korel Laloix: Much more a roller girl.
Bees Ballinger: i could not live for a long time in a hot country.... it takes all my energy away...
Qt Core: time to go, bye all
    Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Qt!
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care qt
    Bees Ballinger: bye
    Santoshima Resident: bye Qt
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
Bees Ballinger: this is réally a very very quiet group....
    Bruce Mowbray: ha ha!
Santoshima Resident: we are a group of introverts
    Bees Ballinger: it looks like:-)
    Santoshima Resident: sorta
Bruce Mowbray: INFP's all the way!
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.personalitypage.com/INFP.html
Santoshima Resident: right in there with Shakespeare
    Santoshima Resident: and Homer
Santoshima Resident: not so bad, the company
Bruce Mowbray: and a lot of hermits.
    Santoshima Resident: yes
    Bruce Mowbray: who enjoy snow,
    Bruce Mowbray: and dogs,
    Bruce Mowbray: and fireplaces,
Bees Ballinger: and fire and snow
    Bruce Mowbray: and mulled wine.
    Bees Ballinger: mulled?
Bruce Mowbray: Just a sec, Bees....
    Yakuzza Lethecus: glühwein
Bees Ballinger: aha... i thought so..
    Bruce Mowbray: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulled_wine
Bees Ballinger: typical for Xmas time at the markets here
Korel Laloix: OH.. had that before.
Bruce Mowbray: I like to make my own.
    Bees Ballinger: wine?
    Bruce Mowbray: MULLED wine, actually.
Bees Ballinger: or just heat some wine?
Bruce Mowbray: yes, heated wine, with various spices... like cloves and cinnamon.
Bruce Mowbray: a sweet wine is best... for it ... like a sangria....
Santoshima Resident: some fruand added as well, right?it
Bruce Mowbray: It casts a delicious odor throughout the whole house.
    Santoshima Resident: fruad = fruit
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, some fruit would make it PERFECT!
Bruce Mowbray: Now I must be off...
Bruce Mowbray: Have a fine weekend, everyone!
    Bees Ballinger: bye bye
    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care bruce
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
Bruce Mowbray: See you again, Bees!
Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i will put myself under a warm blanket now
Santoshima Resident: bye bees, bye yaku
    Santoshima Resident: so long bruce
    Bees Ballinger: ciao!
Yakuzza Lethecus: night everyone, but no mulled wine
    Korel Laloix: Ciao
Bees Ballinger: is it always so quiet here?
    Santoshima Resident: ?
    Santoshima Resident: depends
Santoshima Resident: are you okm with quiet?
    Santoshima Resident: okm = ok
Bees Ballinger: well... i love some dynamic!
Korel Laloix: At work so in and out.
    Santoshima Resident: sing?
    Bees Ballinger: interesting talks
    Santoshima Resident: right
Santoshima Resident: we are failing you
    Bees Ballinger: mééting...
    Santoshima Resident: oh well
Bees Ballinger: well... i like Sl for fun as well
Bees Ballinger: we had for two years a discussion group and it was very different from here
Santoshima Resident: what shall we talk about
Bees Ballinger: hey San... you don't nééd to talk...:-)
Santoshima Resident: or not talk about, as the need arises
Bees Ballinger: but it's strange to me
Bees Ballinger: it's maybe because you all know each other and IM all the time
Santoshima Resident: i don't know people here
Santoshima Resident: only think i do a little
Santoshima Resident: have never met most
Santoshima Resident: and likely won't in rl
    Bees Ballinger: no...
Santoshima Resident: i don;t know the fabric of the lives of most here
Santoshima Resident: and the pains and challenges
Santoshima Resident: but have some sense of folks
    Santoshima Resident: remarkably
Santoshima Resident: just by the very surface way of communicating
Santoshima Resident: it is quite something
Bees Ballinger: of course... you do càn have a good impression how people are
Bees Ballinger: i find that too
Bees Ballinger: that's the fascinating thing...
    Bees Ballinger: all different lives...
Santoshima Resident: the lives might be very similar
Santoshima Resident: it's the personalities that are so very distinct
    Santoshima Resident: and unique
Bees Ballinger: i i think the lives are different... the feelings are similar...
Santoshima Resident: feelings are only a part of personality, i believe
    Bees Ballinger: yep..
Bees Ballinger: where do you live San?
Santoshima Resident: i have told yu this last time we met
Santoshima Resident: and will not repeat, sorry
    Bees Ballinger: let me think...
    Santoshima Resident: sure
Bees Ballinger: i know i met you and Kori too
Santoshima Resident: where are you, Bees?
Bees Ballinger: but that's some time ago..
Bees Ballinger: i am now in belgium but i live mostly near Vancouver
Bees Ballinger: and you were canadian wern't you?
Santoshima Resident: what brings you to live in such far flung locations?
    Bees Ballinger: love
    Santoshima Resident: oh
    Bees Ballinger: my husband does...
    Santoshima Resident: oh i see
    Santoshima Resident: bye korel
Bees Ballinger: and i love him so i go with him all over the world
Bees Ballinger: and that's a nice thing
Bees Ballinger: weren't you from Canada??
Santoshima Resident: it's great that you can travel to be together
Bees Ballinger: sorry that i forgot where you are from san... but i came back to Sl after a long time... and all the people are new so i forget too quicklly
Santoshima Resident: it's no for me at all, bees
    Santoshima Resident: { it's np for me ,}
    Santoshima Resident: can't type, sorry
Bees Ballinger: but you do not want to repeat:-)
    Santoshima Resident: it's not important
Bees Ballinger: well.. it's not important.. but
Bees Ballinger: cultures are soo diferent...
    Santoshima Resident: indded
Bees Ballinger: i feel that all the time... living in many different countries
    Santoshima Resident: hello Lukey
    Lukey Woodget: Hi
    Bees Ballinger: hello !
Santoshima Resident: how are you Lukey?
    Lukey Woodget: good you
Santoshima Resident: pretty well, needing to go to work soon
