Paradise Tennant: smiles amazing how much great content there is out there only a click away
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes !
Calvino Rabeni: I also went to a dinner-club lecture Friday where the speaker was finance director of Amazon China ... it was off my usual learning route
Calvino Rabeni: good to do things off track sometimes
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: need to mix it up
Calvino Rabeni: I think there's more French cultural influence in your area ... do you know anything about flaneurie and derive?
Calvino Rabeni: (and perhaps how the relate to parkour?)
    Paradise Tennant: http://melaniemenardarts.wordpress.com/2011/01/21/flaneur-vs-derive/
    Paradise Tennant: smiles at you
Calvino Rabeni: :) ask and ye shall receive
    Calvino Rabeni: thanks :)

Paradise Tennant: when I think of it .. what comes to mind is the story of a downs symdrome boy who was swept away by a flooding river in florida but was so relaxed and ended up just enjoying the journey he floated along wided eyed :)) survived unharmed :)
Paradise Tennant: Debord's comment was good at that link
Paradise Tennant: ‘I have written much less than most people who write, but I have drunk more than most people who drink’
Calvino Rabeni: I think he meant that as a self-accolade?
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Calvino Rabeni: I think it's funny when people argue about whether they are doing such a thing in the proper manner
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: what did you see on your walk today ?
Calvino Rabeni: And the combination of subjectivism and a stance of military precision also strikes me funny
Calvino Rabeni: today, there's a large tree that blew over in a recent storm, exposing a rootpad of about 4 meters in diameter that now forms a circular wall
Calvino Rabeni: and someone has installed a well-framed wooden doorway with an arched top ... and some surrounding decorations
Calvino Rabeni: to make it look like the entrance to a hobbit house
    Paradise Tennant: smiles lovely
Paradise Tennant: I would love to visit a hobbit house :))
Paradise Tennant: have a huge dinner on a tree trunk table and sit by the fire and listen to hobbit tales :)
Calvino Rabeni: There was also a chinese guy pushing an old bicycle uphill .. he was completely covered in a hoodie and dark glasses but somehow I knew he was chinese
Calvino Rabeni: there were two chairs near the hobbit house door for sitting
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Calvino Rabeni: human size chairs
Paradise Tennant: when I first came to sl I landed on an elf island sim :)) that was truly wonderful:)) was like have a magic place to go ..
Calvino Rabeni: that would be so nice an entrance compared to a mall
    Paradise Tennant: yes
Paradise Tennant: creativity is an enormous force :)) of change

    Calvino Rabeni: yes it is
Paradise Tennant: really is just opening the door to it :))
Calvino Rabeni: interesting how people tune into such different values of things .. like the reviews of "How to Cook Your Life"
Paradise Tennant: really loved the film will watch it again
Calvino Rabeni: going from, it was very calming, to, the guy was flamboyantly arrogant and mean
