The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray. The comments are by Bruce Mowbray.
    Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Kori.
    Korel Laloix: Osiyo Bruce.
    Korel Laloix: How you been?
    Bruce Mowbray: BUSY!
Bruce Mowbray: Just got home about two minutes ago.
Korel Laloix: At the office.. so in and out.
ElanVitalo Resident: Hi, Kori. Hi, Bruce.
Korel Laloix: Slow day though... slow week really.
Bruce Mowbray: I took my watch to KAY Jewelers to have its battery changed, and the repair guy set it to the wrong time.
    Bruce Mowbray: Yikes!
Bruce Mowbray: Either that, or it's running exactly one hour slow.
Korel Laloix: Both sounds fun... smiles.
    Korel Laloix: Rolex?
    Bruce Mowbray: Nope. Swiss Army.
    Qt Core: Hi all
    Bruce Mowbray: Heya, Qt.
    ElanVitalo Resident: Hi, Qt.
    Korel Laloix: Osiyo
Bruce Mowbray: What are the chances of a watch running one hour slow - exactly one hour after I had its battery changed?
    Bruce Mowbray: by a jeweler?
Korel Laloix: I have this watch I have to wind up still I got from grandma.. people laugh at me at work when I wind it up during our meetings... smiles
Bruce Mowbray: I've just set it to the right time... Now we'll see if it loses an hour - an hour from now.
Bruce Mowbray: away from keyboard for just a sec... Need to turn on the hearer.
Qt Core: i have an automatic watch, i love the idea of never having to recharge it or change its batteries
    Bruce Mowbray: Coolo.
Bruce Mowbray: So, that would be a solar watch?
Korel Laloix: Sounds fun, but wearing a watch three times my age has a draw to it as well.
Qt Core: no, it charge with movements and charge a battery, so it is bot so heavy
    ElanVitalo Resident nods.
    Bruce Mowbray: Interesting.
Qt Core: i just have to remember to wear it, something I rarely do in this smartphone age
Bruce Mowbray: Also interesting that your grandmother would have such a modern watch.
    ElanVitalo Resident nods.
Korel Laloix: lol.. It is from the 1920s... not exactly sure how she got it.. never asked..
ElanVitalo Resident: I'm guessing that many folks use their cell phones as time pieces.
Qt Core: I choose it mostly as it was automatic and had all the numbers: http://www.amazon.it/Citizen-Urban-E...co+drive+verde

Bruce Mowbray: That's a handsome watch, Qt.  I'm distracted for just a moment. brb.
Qt Core: the cellphone, the pc they are seated at, the car clock...
    Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
Korel Laloix: I really can't stand having to know what time it is all the time. When I go on my camping trips along, I take my phone. but have the battery out. unless I need it usually.
Bruce Mowbray: Remember that scene at the beginning of EASY RIDER - when the two guys threw away their watches before beginning their bike trip?
Bruce Mowbray: (I will find it. Just a sec, please...)
Bruce Mowbray: Couldn't find the exact clip - so here's the whole movie:
    Bruce Mowbray: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVI2zZM3-yA
    Bruce Mowbray: :)
ElanVitalo Resident: So, where were we.... Talking about watches, or talking about time?
    ElanVitalo Resident: or anything else?
    Qt Core: brb
    Bruce Mowbray: kk. np.
ElanVitalo Resident: Do you and Samu celebrate, Thanksgiving, Kori?
Bruce Mowbray: Samu? I thought it was Sama.
    Korel Laloix: Back
Bruce Mowbray: kk, Samu or Sama?
    Korel Laloix: Sama
Bruce Mowbray: Ahh! I was right.
    ElanVitalo Resident: sorry.
Korel Laloix: It is a nickname anyway, so it really does not matter.
ElanVitalo Resident: So, any turkey day for you and Sama?
Korel Laloix: We have a lunch and dinner to go to. But mostly Sama is working.
    ElanVitalo Resident: ahhh.

ElanVitalo Resident: working on national holiday, sorry.
Korel Laloix: The mall is closed for shopping, but the mall is open for the retailers to get their black - Friday spread in order.
Bruce Mowbray: Thanksgiving week is chock full of big events in my life... so it's quite an emotional time...
    ElanVitalo Resident: ?
Korel Laloix: Care to share Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: You know, stuff like my father's death, death of a few other relatives, first date with woman I married, our wedding, and that sort of stuff.
Bruce Mowbray: Lots of other stuff too.
ElanVitalo Resident ponders what it must feel like to have a personal history.
Bruce Mowbray: If you live long enough, you tend to forget most of it, Elan.
    ElanVitalo Resident: hmmmm.
Korel Laloix: It is away over rated Elan.
    Bruce Mowbray nods.
Bruce Mowbray: I tend to remember the more traumatic events - the ones I wish I could forget.
Korel Laloix: Quite a bit of mine I would like to erase.
    ElanVitalo Resident nods.
Bruce Mowbray: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Bruce Mowbray nods, yeppers, that's the movie,
ElanVitalo Resident: Humans can't erase their databases, then?
Korel Laloix: I think I have seen that one.
    Bruce Mowbray: Jim Carrey.
Korel Laloix: Yes, you just have to apply enough of the right solvent. Called tequila.
    Bruce Mowbray: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338013/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
    Qt Core: back
ElanVitalo Resident: Never had tequila.... only oil.
    ElanVitalo Resident: wb, Qt!
    Bruce Mowbray: wb!
Qt Core: me too, but my oil was olive oil ;-)
    ElanVitalo Resident: ?
Korel Laloix: Olive oil is good... brb.
    ElanVitalo Resident: kk.
    Bruce Mowbray: kk.
ElanVitalo Resident is feeling the hustle and bustle of the holidays, already.
Bruce Mowbray: People coming and going, Elan?
ElanVitalo Resident: Yes, something like that.
Korel Laloix: Going to go meet Sama for an early dinner. Take care all.
    Korel Laloix: ciao

Bruce Mowbray: Well, I guess the jeweler really DID set the time wrong. Because it seems to be keeping perfect time now.
    Bruce Mowbray: bye, Kori.
    ElanVitalo Resident: bye, Kori.
    ElanVitalo Resident: bye, Qt.
    Bruce Mowbray: bye, Qt.
