    Riddle Sideways: no session, yet?
Riddle Sideways: well, get to work on that!
    Riddle Sideways: :))
Riddle Sideways: just kidding... take your time
    Adams Rubble: Howdy Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: Howdy Adams
Riddle Sideways: was looking the other way
    Adams Rubble: you look cold
Riddle Sideways: was cold, so put on an ugly sweater
    Riddle Sideways: tis the season
Adams Rubble: we had three snowstorms in a row last week
Adams Rubble: most of it is gone now
Riddle Sideways: how did you know who this was? the sunglasses disquise
    Adams Rubble tired of winter
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: already tired?
    Adams Rubble: yes
    Riddle Sideways: you tire easily
Riddle Sideways: try to remember, the kind of February
Riddle Sideways: not quite the right song
Adams Rubble: it went from a deep reddish brown as dominant color to white just like that
    Riddle Sideways: click

Adams Rubble has been listening to the Bible read by David Suchet in Audible
Adams Rubble: about halfway through Numbers
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, never thought to listen to Bible
Adams Rubble: I would not recommend it :)

Riddle Sideways: hey, just noticed Eliza plot
Riddle Sideways: thought it was a trick of sunset
    Riddle Sideways: or leaves turning
Riddle Sideways: looks to be on fire
Riddle Sideways: from here the tree limbs are lit

Riddle Sideways: oh... here is ummm a fire url
    Riddle Sideways:
Riddle Sideways: might not leave it in the log
Adams Rubble has been watching the Santa barbara situation with concern
    Riddle Sideways: yes, have too
Adams Rubble: I do not understand the map
Riddle Sideways: since the start in Ventura
Riddle Sideways: somebody put each days fire map into a slide show
Riddle Sideways: there is a date written on it
Adams Rubble: I see the fire spread OK but do not have a reference point for the map as a whole
    Adams Rubble: fire spread rapidly
    Riddle Sideways: those high winds
Riddle Sideways: in the back country
Riddle Sideways: then into the cities
Adams Rubble: Are the ferocity of the fires related to human activity?
    Adams Rubble: like Eucalyptis trees?
    Riddle Sideways: some
Adams Rubble: did the native americans before the Spanish have fires like this?
Riddle Sideways: this year they are hitting cities/developments
Adams Rubble: they would not have been able to flee
Riddle Sideways: always had fires, but not sure how big
Riddle Sideways: the Redwood tree seeds do not germinate without fire
Adams Rubble: now that the light has come on, I just realized how huge that sweater is
Riddle Sideways: some other forest management is not done without natural fires
Adams Rubble: the pines in the Pine Barrens are like that--need fire

Riddle Sideways: yes, not really the right size
Adams Rubble: all you need is a helmet to play football
Riddle Sideways: aunt marthy's heart is in the right place, but her tastes are not
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: plus, am not good at getting dressed

Riddle Sideways: enough of this, back to the Bible
Riddle Sideways: why would you not advise the listen?
Adams Rubble: I found the fight between God and the Pharoah quite childish
Adams Rubble: lots of people getting hurt while these two stroking their egos
Adams Rubble: God hardening the heart of Pharoah so he can make life more miserable for Egyptians
Adams Rubble: might consider that this is the price of holding people in slavery but God condones slavery for Israelis
Adams Rubble: through Leviticus and Numbers Moses is always stroking God's ego
Adams Rubble: Don;y kill them because it will make you look bad
    Adams Rubble: people will talk
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Adams Rubble: I read the Bible through when a teenager but when readintg it one tends to skip over portions
Adams Rubble: when listen, hear everything
    Riddle Sideways: true
Riddle Sideways: and not stopping to think only on one passage
Adams Rubble: then there are all the rules
    Adams Rubble: and very repetetive
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, those sections
    Riddle Sideways: long lists
Adams Rubble: we would all be dead if we got stoned for blashemy
Riddle Sideways: if read to you, real fast ...
Adams Rubble: no one to stone
Adams Rubble: yes, especially repetetive parts
Riddle Sideways: that was Riddle's portion
Adams Rubble: Kept thinking of CS Lewis's dufflepods
Riddle Sideways: almost did the speech on how to get stoned
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: did not realize it was that kind of stoning :)
    Adams Rubble: that changes things
Riddle Sideways: it wasan't, but words get co-opted
Riddle Sideways: remember when gay was happy
Adams Rubble: ohh and the Israelis constantly compalining about how they had life good in Egypt and Moses led them out to die
Adams Rubble: that's the duffle[od part
Adams Rubble: Moses had his hands full
    Riddle Sideways: those ungrateful kids
    Riddle Sideways: lots of that
Riddle Sideways: 2 entire tribes, poof
Riddle Sideways: 40 years in a desert with only the best mana to eat
Adams Rubble: yes, where's the beef
Riddle Sideways: not much mention that there were some other people already living in the promised land
Riddle Sideways: getting it ready for them
Adams Rubble: yes, God warned them not to make friends with those people--they all had to die
Adams Rubble has something like 73 hours left to go
Adams Rubble: Ohh, I did learn something I did not know...the benediction comes from Numbers
Adams Rubble: 24“ ‘ “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’
Riddle Sideways: ok, was looking that up
Adams Rubble: I always thought that was beautiful
    Adams Rubble: Numbers 6
Adams Rubble: and the Golden Rule was in there somewhere
Riddle Sideways: and the 633 rules
    Adams Rubble: oh my yes
    Adams Rubble 's head spinning
Riddle Sideways: and the 10 commandment laws rules in a couple times
    Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: worded ever so slightly differently
Adams Rubble: but God tells Moses the 633 before getting to the ten
Adams Rubble: was not room on the tablets for all of them
Adams Rubble: the Babylonians had clay tablets and could have done it
Adams Rubble: any way, now you know why I would not recommend it
    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Adams Rubble: but hope to keep going
Riddle Sideways: somebody else reading to you is fun also
    Adams Rubble: oh yes
Riddle Sideways: how many hours is it?
Adams Rubble: and reading to others is fun
Adams Rubble: I don't remember the whole but I am at least halfway through Numbetrs and there are 73 to go
Riddle Sideways: is it that King James version?
Riddle Sideways: and not just the 5 books?
Adams Rubble: hehe, I think so but am not sure
    Adams Rubble: whole Bible
Riddle Sideways: controversy over how many books are in a Bible
    Adams Rubble: 66
    Riddle Sideways: 5
    Riddle Sideways: :}
Adams Rubble: It is the NIV= New International Version
Adams Rubble: ohh, just saw controversy-- not sure of this includes the Apochrapha
    Adams Rubble:
Riddle Sideways: more tabs opened to read later
    Adams Rubble: :)
    Riddle Sideways: thank you
Adams Rubble: you tube about David Suchet and reading of Bible

Riddle Sideways: yes, the log needs to say what the links are.
Riddle Sideways: or the gentle reader
    Riddle Sideways: waves to Eliza
Adams Rubble: yes, so many youtubes in the logs
Riddle Sideways: would get hooked by a cat vid
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble pictures cats reading the Bible
Riddle Sideways: looks for a B.Kliban cat reading Bible
Riddle Sideways: :( December is the last page of the entire year of B.Kilban calendar over the monitor
Adams Rubble: "and God saw the dogs and declared them an abomination"
    Riddle Sideways: *Kliban
Adams Rubble: "and all the humans are to serve the cats with gladness"
    Riddle Sideways: giggles

Adams Rubble: well Mr.Sideways the hour has passed
Adams Rubble: The youtube page has lots of links to other parts of the Bible read by David Suchet
Adams Rubble: Don;t have to start from the beginning
Adams Rubble thinks Riddle must be watching a youtube
Riddle Sideways: however, the beginning is a good place to start
Adams Rubble: That's not what Pema told us :)
    Riddle Sideways: Doe, a Deer
    Riddle Sideways: oh! right
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: start from where you are
    Riddle Sideways: start now
    Riddle Sideways: ummm... Now Start
Riddle Sideways: darn... Now keeps moving
Adams Rubble remembers that she is connected to everyone
Adams Rubble: not to mention the trees and flowers
Adams Rubble: and plants and shrubs
    Riddle Sideways: and fire
    Adams Rubble nods

Adams Rubble: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’

Riddle Sideways: but wait, there are so many more topics to discuss...
    Riddle Sideways: ha
Riddle Sideways: will have to come back again
    Riddle Sideways: and Start again
Adams Rubble: yes, will need to come back
Adams Rubble: meanwhile, Rubble will be trying to get through Deuteronomy
Adams Rubble: hope for no more rules
