    Adams Rubble: ohhh
Riddle Sideways: the 10 big pieces could all be together in the big room
Riddle Sideways: and then stroll up through the history of her art
Riddle Sideways: her "Great Commission" was meant to be shown in a circular building of 3-5 levels
Riddle Sideways: keep thinking that she would have really loved building in SL
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: she could have created in 3d
Adams Rubble: had never heard of her before this morning
    --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilma_af_Klint

    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: she liked the building almost as much as the art
    Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: she only had 2 pages left in the sketch book, so started the next blank one.
Riddle Sideways: drew like 5 pages
Adams Rubble: when it was first completed many thought it looked like a toilet so there is that

    Adams Rubble: :)))
    Riddle Sideways: that always leaked
    Adams Rubble: hehe
Riddle Sideways: Klint worked so many world religion symbols into her pieces
Riddle Sideways: and art of the sciences of those days
Riddle Sideways: sub-atomic particles had just been reported
Riddle Sideways: so she did many works with orbiting particles
Riddle Sideways: and so many spirals
Riddle Sideways: must admit to loving spirals
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble will look more when this sessio is over
Riddle Sideways: have a great desire to find her notebooks online
    Riddle Sideways: anywhere
Riddle Sideways: it keep reporting her notebooks said this or that

    Riddle Sideways: ㋡
Riddle Sideways: thought you would know of her, so nice to be able to share
Adams Rubble: she was not in the canon when I took modern art courses
Adams Rubble: no one taught her while i was working
Riddle Sideways: that thing about only Men being important?
Adams Rubble: it seems she may have been the first abstract artist
Adams Rubble: that would make her pretty important
Riddle Sideways: plus, she stated that no shows of her work were to be presented until 20 years after her death
Riddle Sideways: then it took about 40 years
Adams Rubble: that is too bad because abstract art in US took off around 1945
Riddle Sideways: she died in like 44
    Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: first big show was in like the 80's
Riddle Sideways: anyway, it was a so fascinating find

Riddle Sideways: funny, the test page for the darn broken printer was "the 15 top Dem candidates list"
