For the second time I visited the tea house at 1 am SL time. As soon as I arrived, Storm showed up as well.

    Pema Pera: Hi there!
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Pema
Pema Pera: This is a quiet time for the US
Pema Pera: it seems that most of our participants are from the US
Storm Nordwind: Yes. And even in Europe people have just arrived at work
Storm Nordwind: Except those that have flexitime!
Pema Pera: which is odd, given that there are more Europeans now in SL than American
    Pema Pera: ah
    Pema Pera: of course
    Pema Pera: yes
Pema Pera: Australians should be okay
Storm Nordwind: I have just done some terrain editing north of the Hall of Appearance
    Pema Pera: great!
Pema Pera: visible by camera I guess?
Storm Nordwind: No one should ever fall through the steps now
Storm Nordwind: The ground underneath is contoured to them
    Pema Pera: I see now
    Pema Pera: yes great!
Storm Nordwind: I've taken off the warning signs on the pillars about sim transition
Storm Nordwind: I have raised the land next to the 1/4 sim that we are intending to get later
Storm Nordwind: That is in readiness
    Pema Pera: wonderful!
Pema Pera: yes, in five weeks
Storm Nordwind: I have created a spur of higher land into the 1/2 sim with a small river valley too
    Pema Pera: wow, great!!!
Storm Nordwind: It will break up the view as you come down the steps
    Pema Pera: wonderful
Storm Nordwind: with a spur coming from the right
Storm Nordwind: We've got very little height management avalable to us overall but we'll do the best we can

I started to mention what Dakini had suggested in the previous session.

Pema Pera: we were talking about where we could put a center for large gatherings -- how again do you spell "Pingvallier" -- :-)
    Pema Pera: Thingvallir?
    Pema Pera: P dash?
Storm Nordwind: Thingvellir but one moment
    Pema Pera: yes
    Pema Pera: for the All-Thing
    Storm Nordwind: Þingvellir
    Pema Pera: wow!
    Pema Pera: Very impressive!
Pema Pera: How did you get that font??
    Storm Nordwind: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%9Eingvellir
Pema Pera: what do you know -- wikipedia strikes again
Pema Pera: with unicode of SL!
Storm Nordwind: And bear in mind you're talking to someone who was heathen for nearly 15 years
    Pema Pera: haha yes

How nice to see Icelandic fonts here in our SL chat.

Pema Pera: now for our All-Thing
Pema Pera: we talked about that a few hours ago, with Dakini and others
Pema Pera: middle of Magoja would be natural but
Pema Pera: border of sims would be better
Pema Pera: if many people would gather
Pema Pera: between Rieul and Magoja -- well, near or in the Hall of Appearance
Pema Pera: but would be nicer as a gathering in the woods
Storm Nordwind: Yes. We would raise the are where the step area
Pema Pera: it also raises another question (no pun intended):
Pema Pera: do we want to get the woods inside Rieul?
Storm Nordwind: Rieul, why not ;)
    Pema Pera: fine!
Pema Pera: of course there is a lot here already
Storm Nordwind: The Hall needn't stay
Pema Pera: and we don't want to hide it
    Pema Pera: or overgrow
Pema Pera: places like this area here
Storm Nordwind: The denseness of the forest can vary anyway. There can be themed areas for different types of tress and sparsenesses
    Pema Pera: yes
Pema Pera: if we really think into the future, we may want to have a Thingvellir point at a four corners place
Pema Pera: like the welcoming center
    Storm Nordwind: yes

Soon afterwards, Storm went back to his work, and I was ready for dinner.
