2009.01.03 13:00 - Second life - old and new

Aurora was guardian assisted by Storm for the earlier part of the session.  Lilith arrived for her first PaB session. Greetings take place as do wishes for a happy new year (hny).

Aurora Kitaj: just to get the hang of what was being said, but it gets easier

Lilith Ivory: that’s ok for me :) although sometimes it’s hard to talk in a language that is not my first one

Storm Nordwind: Very true Aurora. Well although some in Play as Being are Buddhists, most are not, and we try not to push concepts down anyone's throat.

Storm Nordwind: Play as Being has no religious leanings in particular Lilith. In fact some scientists involved would feel awkward if there was!

Lilith Ivory: my SL-husband came here 2005 and he told me, SL has changed a lot
Wol Euler: I'm not sure whether I see a change in SL or in myself caused by being in SL.
Adams Rubble: I hang out at different places now
Lilith Ivory: in former times you got paid for building nice places to hang out
Aurora Kitaj: so ppl have changed, but not the essential sl?
Lilith Ivory: things have changed after the big malls and sex clubs came to SL
Adams Rubble: It's a bit like the world, we change and see it differently
Lilith Ivory: there are too many greedy people now
Aurora Kitaj: greedy do you mean greedy for money or other things?
Lilith Ivory: yes greedy to make money in SL
Adams Rubble: Hard to make it in the stock market or in housing right now :)
Aurora Kitaj: But do people find that is quite easy to stay away from those people and places?
Aurora Kitaj: and to live a happy life without them or do these things intrude into people's lives
