    Lia Rikugun: hey fef
    Fefonz Quan: Hi Lia!
Allan Whiteberry: He, what's going on today?
    Fefonz Quan: Hello Allan
Fefonz Quan: is it your first time here?
    Allan Whiteberry: Hello Fefonz
Allan Whiteberry: No, I've been a few times before
Fefonz Quan: ok, jus thad to ask concerning our chat log record etc.
    Fefonz Quan: just had*
Fefonz Quan: so have you tried the 9-sec experiment?
Allan Whiteberry: No, what is that?
Fefonz Quan: here we are a group that explores the nature of reality through contemplation and experimenting
Fefonz Quan: the basic practice is taking 9 seconds every 15 seconds - which is 1% of teh time,
Fefonz Quan: and on those seconds - stop, drop what we are ding and observe all around us
Allan Whiteberry: 9 seconds out of 15 seconds is more than 1%, it's more than half
    Fefonz Quan: 15 minutes, sorry
Allan Whiteberry: Ah, but you can actually remember to do that all day?
Lia Rikugun: hello sorry was away
    Lia Rikugun: helllo allan
    Allan Whiteberry: Hello Lia
Lia Rikugun: actually you can do it for 5 hours during the day
Fefonz Quan: not all they, just one-two hours at a time.
Lia Rikugun: and it does not have to be exactly every 15 minutes
    Lia Rikugun: but approximately
Fefonz Quan: and when we gather here, we discuss our experiences, an also record our chats in a wiki site
Fefonz Quan: (hence i needed to get your aproval to record your messages).
    Fefonz Quan: approval*
Allan Whiteberry: Not a big turnout today
Fefonz Quan: well, since we have 4 meetings each day, naturally some of them are not so crowded :)
Lia Rikugun: every 6 hours since 1 year
    Lia Rikugun: :D
Allan Whiteberry: Is there a particular topic we are discussing today?
Lia Rikugun: we are very serious :P
Fefonz Quan: http://playasbeing.wik.is/ this is the website if you want to take a look at it.
Fefonz Quan: topics are not predefined mostly we run according to what the participants have to say,
Fefonz Quan: and in other times we just fool around (accomplishing the "Play" in "Play as Being"
Allan Whiteberry: Lia what are you doing with the big hammer?
Lia Rikugun: this for example :)
Lia Rikugun: how can I give you one object?
    Lia Rikugun: let me see
    Allan Whiteberry: sure
Lia Rikugun: oh you are sinking
Allan Whiteberry: /Did you hammer me into the ground?
Lia Rikugun: i think we had a problem like that previoulsy
Fefonz Quan: vat are you sinking? :)
    Lia Rikugun: hehe sorry
Lia Rikugun: no i dont think this was me
Lia Rikugun: maybe just try to sit
    Lia Rikugun: ahhh
    Lia Rikugun: wonderful
Lia Rikugun: and fefonz has his aura
    Lia Rikugun: he is enlightened
Lia Rikugun: ok to come back to the topic
Lia Rikugun: fo rme the exercise is a good thing because when you are stressed for example you can step back and see what really matters
    Allan Whiteberry: hahahah very colorful
Lia Rikugun: you can change the color by typing /7 blue for example
    Allan Whiteberry: /green
    Lia Rikugun: "/7 help"
    Allan Whiteberry: -7 help
Fefonz Quan: so easy to get enlightened in SL ;-)
    Lia Rikugun: I KNOW!!!
    Lia Rikugun: yeah
Lia Rikugun: so allan how did you find out about htis place?
Allan Whiteberry: I was flying around and just fell here by accident. Perhaps it was an omen
Lia Rikugun: yes i am sure it was
Lia Rikugun: so as we said before we are meeting every 6 hours
Lia Rikugun: of course not always the same people
    Lia Rikugun: 1am 7am 1pm 7pm SLT
Lia Rikugun: and talk about our experiences
Allan Whiteberry: SLT is the same as PST, that is convenient for me
    Lia Rikugun: :)
Lia Rikugun: i always get confused
    Allan Whiteberry: Bist du deutsch?
    Lia Rikugun: ja
    Allan Whiteberry: I thought so
    Fefonz Quan: Ney
Lia Rikugun: but fefonz cannot understand
    Lia Rikugun: and you?
Lia Rikugun: why did u think so?
Lia Rikugun: no = nein in german :)
Allan Whiteberry: Because you said, we have been doing this *since* a year.
    Lia Rikugun: ohh
Lia Rikugun: so what is the correct saying
    Lia Rikugun: for one year
    Lia Rikugun: ?
Allan Whiteberry: In English better said "for a year"
    Fefonz Quan: yep
Lia Rikugun: ok :D thank you
Fefonz Quan: or since last april
Lia Rikugun: some people dont correct me when i make mistakes
Allan Whiteberry: but in German "seit einem Jahr"
    Lia Rikugun: exactly
Lia Rikugun: you are german as well?
    Allan Whiteberry: no, native-born American
Lia Rikugun: but you speak german?
Fefonz Quan: yes, seems like our mistakes expose us more than our right actions :)
Allan Whiteberry: yes, I studied it in high school and college
Lia Rikugun: wow , did you ever go to germany
Allan Whiteberry: Yes, severa times. Most recently last August
Lia Rikugun: thats true fef ;)
    Lia Rikugun: nice
    Allan Whiteberry: &*several
Lia Rikugun: where di u go?
    Lia Rikugun: hello solo
Allan Whiteberry: Frankfurt, Berlin Nürnberg, München
    Lia Rikugun: beautiful cities
Solobill Laville: Heya, Lia, Fefonz, Allan :)
    Allan Whiteberry: Hi solo
    Fefonz Quan: Heya, Solo :)
Lia Rikugun: Allan is new here
    Lia Rikugun: :)
    Allan Whiteberry: more or less
Solobill Laville: It's all relative...I see he's been in SL longer than me :)
Fefonz Quan: nice glasses. Solo :)
Solobill Laville: ah, thanks, I usually have them, maybe on the top of my head!
Fefonz Quan: they make you look so intelligent :)
Solobill Laville: ha! Well I need that!
Lia Rikugun: i think i need a pair as well
    Lia Rikugun: maybe two
Fefonz Quan: and do you SEE more clearly with them?
Solobill Laville: lots of smudges ;)
Solobill Laville: SOrry to interrupt, what we you discussing?
    Lia Rikugun: what you wish
    Lia Rikugun: :)
Fefonz Quan: mostly explaining p-se3c PaB to Allan
    Fefonz Quan: 9-sec*
Solobill Laville: It does have some fairly immediate results, if you do it
    Solobill Laville: helps with concentration
Allan Whiteberry: What kind of results?
    Solobill Laville: helps with relaxing
    Allan Whiteberry: you answered it
Solobill Laville: helps to align you with your body a bit more ... for example if you focus on your breath, etc.
Fefonz Quan: some fairly imeditate results :)
Solobill Laville: Yes, quick, surprisingly noticable
Solobill Laville: But still, those are only fairly surface level, yet important
    Lia Rikugun: brb
    Solobill Laville: k
Solobill Laville: I think I use the PaB practice to augment my other practice a bit more than some other folks do, perhaps
Solobill Laville: And I generally go a little longer than 9-secs
Solobill Laville: I do a sort of "10-breath" practice
Fefonz Quan: yes, me too, infact sometimes when i start its hard to stop so quick :)
    Solobill Laville: yes, good point
    Lia Rikugun: back
    Fefonz Quan: wb lia
Solobill Laville: don't need to stop like a knife chopping broccoli
    Fefonz Quan: tomato?
Solobill Laville: You can ease out of it
    Solobill Laville: bokchoy, whatever :)
Lia Rikugun: i usually take a deep deep breath
    Solobill Laville: mm hmmm
    Solobill Laville: one?
Lia Rikugun: is it too short?
    Lia Rikugun: :)
Lia Rikugun: breathing out longer than breathing in
Fefonz Quan: when i do the nine-sec, i take ~3 breathes, i think thihs is about the time
Solobill Laville: haha! Of course not! There's no too short, that's part of the beauty
Lia Rikugun: i dont have the stop watch :)
Fefonz Quan: though when i practice longer meditation, one breath can easily take 30 secs
    Lia Rikugun: ah
Lia Rikugun: i did this in yoga a while ago
Solobill Laville: Wow, I think I'd faint!
    Solobill Laville: :)
Lia Rikugun: with the flute for example you need to have a long breath as well
Solobill Laville: and the tuba :)
Fefonz Quan: so no playing and singing the same time ;-)
    Lia Rikugun: exactly
Fefonz Quan: (unless you are Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull)
    Solobill Laville: :)
    Solobill Laville sings "PaB-Lung..."
Fefonz Quan: yes :) one of my favorite songs :)
Solobill Laville: ha! good, I wondered if that would fly over everyone's head! hehe
    Fefonz Quan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqZmtq5LhFo
Fefonz Quan: for the ones who don't know aqualung :)
    Lia Rikugun: thank you
Solobill Laville: So, yes, Allan, we usually do these 9-sec thingies and then discuss topics related to them...
Solobill Laville: A lot of topics open up it would seem :)
    Allan Whiteberry: hmmmmmm
Solobill Laville: We have a wiki with over 100 chat sessions on it
    Solobill Laville: *1000
    Lia Rikugun: and summaries...
    Solobill Laville: oh, yes
Solobill Laville: all sorts of stuff
    Lia Rikugun: "PaB scribe Project"
Solobill Laville: Adams has posted a lot more to his "Chronicles" section I noticed
Lia Rikugun: oh wow just seeing it
Solobill Laville: kind of a historical view of his personal story entwined with history of PaB
Allan Whiteberry: Gotta go now. Adios Amigos
    Solobill Laville: Adios, Allan
    Fefonz Quan: Adios, Allan
Lia Rikugun: ok nice meeting you
Fefonz Quan: i think i'll go to the Stim workshop soon
Lia Rikugun: and i need to do some stuff in RL
    Lia Rikugun: for SL ;)
    Solobill Laville: ok, folks :)
Solobill Laville: I might check out Stim today
Fefonz Quan: great see you there?
Solobill Laville: is he on voice?
Fefonz Quan: (i'll claim the log first)
Lia Rikugun: ah should i go there ? hmhmhm
    Solobill Laville: k
    Fefonz Quan: no, chat
Solobill Laville: that is up to you :)
