    Adelene Dawner: Hi, Steve ^.^

stevenaia Michinaga: hello, Corvi says hi from IMland
    Adelene Dawner: ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: says if you are here alone you must be making trouble
Adelene Dawner: *giggles* not unless you count hud modules as 'trouble' ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: that's what she meant
    Adelene Dawner: heh
Adelene Dawner: Did she tell you about the new toy I'm working on?
    stevenaia Michinaga: no
Adelene Dawner: It's a modular hud - intended to be very very user friendly and customizable.
    stevenaia Michinaga: huh?
Adelene Dawner: Basically, there's the base unit, which does nothing. You wear that, and then rez modules in-world which add functions to the hud. The one I'm working with now can have up to 12 modules.
stevenaia Michinaga: are you in jammies?
    Adelene Dawner: Kimono. ;P
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww
stevenaia Michinaga: my new puter had completely different graphics capabilities so everything looks great
    Adelene Dawner: ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: well don't let me interrupt
    Adelene Dawner: That's ok. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: busy looking at everything new again
    Adelene Dawner: hehehe
    Adelene Dawner: remove module
    Adelene Dawner: remove module
    Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Adelene Dawner: This is such a cool toy. I see a lot of potential for it. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: nod, can't wait for the demo
    Adelene Dawner: want one?
stevenaia Michinaga: once I know what it is
Adelene Dawner: That's the base, you wear it. By itself, it doesn't do much.
stevenaia Michinaga: should name them all Modulator so they can be found in a search.
Adelene Dawner: Yeah - Still thinking about the name. 'modulator' is a little goofy.
Adelene Dawner: I'm thinking about 'Modulo', for geek points ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: naaa, anything is fine
Adelene Dawner: The basic one can be Modulo 12, and then I can make Modulo 18, 24, 36, whatever ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: what's the radius of the radar?
Adelene Dawner: 96m, the limit of what the language can do.
Adelene Dawner: You can take the setup ball off whenever you want, too. :) If you just rez it, it automatically derezzes.
Adelene Dawner: You can add the other modules, if you want. They're a set, kind of. The reciever listens for a particular message based on your name, and will make noise at you when it hears that message. The sender lets you send alarm messages to other people using the system, so long as they're in the same sim.
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds like more than I need, radar is fun though
Adelene Dawner: mmhmm. The alarm system has been useful for me and Three, tho. ^.^
Adelene Dawner: I'm probably going to make a PaB module: it'll ding every 15 min and pop up a teleport map at PaB meeting time. ^.^
Adelene Dawner: Maybe add the 'ding' chat message to that, too. ^.^
    Adelene Dawner: WB, Steve ^.^
    stevenaia Michinaga: it talks?
Adelene Dawner: All newly created scripts do that. ^.^
Adelene Dawner: Hmm, what do you think, should I have the 'ding' chat default to user-only, or chatted aloud for everyone to hear?
stevenaia Michinaga: make two, one of each or an option
Adelene Dawner: It'll be switchable by clicking the module. It should probably default to 'off', tho.
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
stevenaia Michinaga: will you sell there?
    stevenaia Michinaga: these
Adelene Dawner: Not this module. I'm thinking that the 12-module base will be free, and some of the simpler modules (and this one, simple or no). The upgraded bases and more complicated modules will cost something.
Adelene Dawner: Also, once I have the base perfected (I want to add a few more features), I'll write up a how-to, and let other people build modules, too.
stevenaia Michinaga: sounds complicated for us old farts
    Adelene Dawner: heh
Adelene Dawner: Fa and Wol will love it, I bet. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: hello Corvi, how was work...grins
    Adelene Dawner: Hi, Luv ^.^
Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Steve..hits you with a pillow.
Adelene Dawner: Kinda quiet night, so far. ^.^
Corvuscorva Nightfire: except for pillow fights?
Adelene Dawner: Steve's not flirting too much today, too busy with his shiny new computer. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: thank goodness no pillows at work
    Corvuscorva Nightfire giggles at Steve...
Corvuscorva Nightfire: are you making something, Ade?
    Adelene Dawner: Yep.
Corvuscorva Nightfire points at the white ball by your knee.
Adelene Dawner: a PaB module for my new toy. In progress.
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods, grins.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: hey..who's on your tshirt, Steve?
stevenaia Michinaga: Pink Floyd I do belive
    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ah!
stevenaia Michinaga: you filling in for Sylectra tonight, Ade?
Adelene Dawner: Yeah, she's not feeling well.
stevenaia Michinaga: time for me to go
Adelene Dawner: ok, Steve. Cya around. ^.^
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks for the company
    Adelene Dawner: ^.^
Corvuscorva Nightfire: whatcha up to, Ade?
Adelene Dawner: Makin' a PaB module for my new toy, which I think is going to actually be called 'Modulo'
    Corvuscorva Nightfire nods.
Corvuscorva Nightfire: I'll see you in a little then.
    Adelene Dawner: ok, cya ^.^
