The Guardian for this meeting was Maxine Walden. The comments are by Maxine Walden.

On this last Sunday 1pm session for Pema before he goes to Japan for a couple of months the group seemed interested in trying to review questions about Being as well as about the fullness of existence, topics of varying interest to many.  In trying to assess how to comment on the chatlog, what to emphasize, I came to think that each reader might have his/her own take on the discussion and so I am leaving it mostly free of my own comment.  But then, toward the end of the meeting, when some including myself had left, there is a lesson in muting for a visitor who most found intrusive, and I did delete an explicit comment which seemed inappropriate for our chatlog.

    Maxine Walden: hi, Pema
    Pema Pera: Hi Maxine!
Maxine Walden: you rested in Japan now? I just got back so am not up to speed
Pema Pera: I'm in Berkeley right now, visiting Steven
Pema Pera: a week from now I'm off to Japan
Pema Pera: Hi Arabella and Wester!
Maxine Walden: ah, I see. traveling but I was a week off

    Pema Pera: alive and alol
    Wester Kiranov: :D
    Maxine Walden: lol
arabella Ella: my typing ... LOL
    Pema Pera: :)
Maxine Walden: typos have their own wisdom
    Pema Pera: !!
arabella Ella: perhas it was a freudian slip
    arabella Ella: /m smiles
    Maxine Walden: maybe so!
    Pema Pera: Hi there Pila!
    arabella Ella: Hiya Pila
    Maxine Walden: hi Pila
    Pila Mulligan: greetings
Pema Pera: from alol to aloha!
    arabella Ella: yeaaa
Pila Mulligan: happy easter bunny day
    Maxine Walden: yes it is!
Pema Pera: hi Mick from the sky!
arabella Ella: oh yes Happy Easter to all of you
    arabella Ella: Hiya Mick
    Mickorod Renard: hiyaaaaaa
    Mickorod Renard: happy easter
Pila Mulligan: hi Mick and Scathach
    Pema Pera: hi there Schathach
    arabella Ella: Hiya Scath
    Mickorod Renard: Hi there everyone
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello all:)
    Maxine Walden: hi, Scath
Pema Pera: like rain drops, everyone appears in a steady stream . . . .
arabella Ella: how lovely that is Pema
arabella Ella: soft rain drops drifting down from the sky
Mickorod Renard: feel like I have been away for ages
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: well, Maxine, this will be our last Sunday afternoon for a while, in our series on time -- from next week on I'll be sleeping around in this time in Japan
Pema Pera: Do you have a preference for a topic?
Maxine Walden: I really have not specific preference; I am just back and very willing to follow anyone else's wishes, topic, etc
Maxine Walden: Pema, do you have something you would like us to pursue?
Pema Pera: perhaps the fullness of existence?
    Pila Mulligan: hi Trevor
Trevor Berensohn waits for the rezz
    Pema Pera: hi Trevor!
    Trevor Berensohn: Holle =)
    Maxine Walden: wonderful topic
    Maxine Walden: Hi Trevor
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Trevor
    arabella Ella: Hiya Trevor
Pila Mulligan: and welcome back Maxine :)
Maxine Walden: thanks, Pila, nice to be back
    Mickorod Renard: hiya trev
arabella Ella: Pema if i may ask
arabella Ella: you were asking us to work on Being Seeing
Trevor Berensohn: (Tell me if I'm sitting on anyone)
arabella Ella: and it is something i have reflected on
arabella Ella: but i cannot seem to get the hang of what perspective'Being' should take
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
Pema Pera: ah, the key is: you should do it
Pema Pera: better to let Being do it :)
    Pema Pera: Hi Sundhi!
    Pila Mulligan: hi sundhi
    Trevor Berensohn: ?
    Mickorod Renard: hiya sundhi
    Trevor Berensohn: Ah
    sundhi Joubert: hello all
arabella Ella: ok if i may go on pls?
    Pema Pera: please!
arabella Ella: how can I do it if I do not know or understand what 'Being' is ... scuse my ignorance
Pema Pera: welcome, Sundhi, glad you could make it here!
    arabella Ella: Hiya sundhi
Pema Pera: ah, Arabella, that's the most interesting question
sundhi Joubert: ty....where r we going todau?
Pema Pera: at the core of Play as Being
    arabella Ella: yes
Pema Pera: the key is to let Being play
Pema Pera: and we all share our experiences
    sundhi Joubert: haha,,it does anyway
Pema Pera: to figure out what that can mean
arabella Ella: but ... ifr i may ... if 'Being' my own existence?
Maxine Walden: Sundhi, have you been to these meetings before?
    sundhi Joubert: once or twice
    Pema Pera: ultimately, yes, Arabella
arabella Ella: my prob is that i have been trying to figure out what it means and letting go but no l8uck so far
Pema Pera: but not in a way that we can imagine, let alone discuss
arabella Ella: i feel i need some inspiration
    arabella Ella smiles
Maxine Walden: oh, good, just wondering if you were familiar with our discussions and taking the chatlog for posting
Pema Pera: yes, the inspiration can come from dropping and stopping and opening up and making room for Being to show itself
    Pema Pera: it is a minimal approach . . . .
Pema Pera: and hard to do by yourself
Pema Pera: but as a group it may work :-)
arabella Ella: you mean as a group here at PaB?
Pema Pera: everything I have shared so far, appreaciating the presence of appearance, dropping what you have to see what you are, letting Being see, are all ways to let Being show Itself as our main resource . . . .
    Pema Pera: yes
    arabella Ella: ok ty
arabella Ella: i think i may be beginning to understand what you mean
Pema Pera: normally we wait for instructions . . . . . and then attempt something
Pema Pera: here it is the other way around
sundhi Joubert: well,,being is doing at all times anyway,,,,whether we recognize it or not
arabella Ella: altho it is not easy to let 'Being' see unless we know what 'Being' is to allow it to 'see'
arabella Ella: and ... i think i may be verbalising questions for some of the others here too if i may say so
    arabella Ella: Hiya Eliza
    Pila Mulligan: hi Eliza
Pema Pera: we play as if we are already Being (which we are!) and let Beings speak and show us -- yes, Sundhi, exactly!
    arabella Ella: (another raindrop)
Mickorod Renard: I was looking through some p a b mails the other day,,one was about us having the notion that what information we have is what is in our heads,,yet as you stated,,there is so much outside of us in everyday life that is a great sourse..I guess that can be a way of identifying being too?
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Arabella, everyone :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Eliza
    Mickorod Renard: hi Eliza
Pema Pera: yes, that is all part of it, Mick
arabella Ella: yes there is so much outside our 'heads' too
    Maxine Walden: hi, Eliza
Pema Pera: Yes, please Arabella, please formulate the questions!
Eliza Madrigal: :)) Great to see you all this Sunday
    arabella Ella smiles
    Mickorod Renard: happy easter eliza
arabella Ella: i think i have already formulated the main question - what is Being - but i am beginning to see some light i hope
    sundhi Joubert: what isnt being?
arabella Ella: yoou tell us sundhi pls
Pema Pera: all is Being . . . . but not in the way we tend to think . . . .
arabella Ella: it would be nice to hear different perspectives which are like a woven tapestry criss crossing
Pema Pera: for Being, there are no beings, no isolated objects . . . .
sundhi Joubert: Being is all of existence,,,
    Scathach Rhiadra: ultimate reality
    arabella Ella: /e smiles
    arabella Ella: ok
Pema Pera: and "existence" is what is so open as a question -- what is "existence"?
arabella Ella: evberything that encompasses us?
Mickorod Renard: I think what isnt being is when we are living inside ourselves,,in a confinement
arabella Ella: (we all know how self-centered we tend to be in RL)
    sundhi Joubert: guess so,,,:)
Pema Pera: sometimes I've talked about the metaphor of a movie -- saying that all we encounter is like a fiction, not real -- and the other side of the coin is what I suggested to talk about today: "the fullness of existence"
    arabella Ella: YES
Wester Kiranov: how does that relate to spaciousness?
Pema Pera: everything is to be fully enjoyed, like a great party -- yet we should realize that our *understanding* of it is empty
arabella Ella: shall qwe move on to existence then Pema?
    Pema Pera: just did :)
    arabella Ella: yes
    arabella Ella smiles
Maxine Walden: please tell us your thoughts about the fullnessof existence, Pema
    Pema Pera: each person is a universe . . . .
    arabella Ella: mmmmmm
Pema Pera: yet how we *think* about a person is like a fiction
Pema Pera: we have great difficulty *really* connecting with others and with ourselves
    arabella Ella: yes
Pema Pera: to taste Beind in/as everything and all
Pema Pera: so the movie metaphor is half of the trutch
    Pema Pera: truth
Pema Pera: the other half is: all is Being
Pema Pera: like walking in a sacred realm
arabella Ella: you asked us Pema ... what is existence?
arabella Ella: may i turn that question to you pls?
    Pema Pera: existence is open
    arabella Ella: openness?
Pema Pera: no substance, only appearance
    arabella Ella: yes
Pema Pera: but so full and alive, way beyond what we normally call matter or existence
Pema Pera: the latter are faint shadows
    Pema Pera: like movie images
Pema Pera: your bird was an example of that full aliveness, Arabella, a couple weeks ago
arabella Ella: to me this sounds a bit like the maxim ... all is one
    arabella Ella: everything is interlinked
    arabella Ella: yes
Pema Pera: yes, but now we have to live the maxim
Pema Pera: let it live us
Pema Pera: since there is no us
arabella Ella: i have seen lots of other seagulls since them
    arabella Ella: then
    Pema Pera: live our appearance
arabella Ella: and find them alll so inspirational
Trevor Berensohn: Hmmm that sounds more like non-being..
Pema Pera looking around for Corvi . . .
Wester Kiranov: sorry guys, I forgot I had to be someplace else as well. I'll read the rest on the log ... thank you all & bye
Pema Pera: yes, Trevor, that's teh problem of words
    Maxine Walden: bye Wester
    Pema Pera: bye Wester!
    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Wester :)
    Scathach Rhiadra: bye Wester:)
Trevor Berensohn: There aren't really any for this, hmm
Maxine Walden: Pema, looking for Corvi?
Pema Pera: yet we can inspire, point, resonate
Pema Pera: yes, Maxine, for another bird, to be appreciated by Arabella :-)
    Maxine Walden: ah, I see!
Mickorod Renard: do we have seperate causal domains..or are we connected?
arabella Ella: yes just as i feel i can be one with the gulls flying so free in the clear sky
Pema Pera: Mick, if you ask Being that question, what answer to you get?
Mickorod Renard: I like to think we are connected
Pema Pera: yes, Arabella, that's a great way to celebrate
Pema Pera: PaB is all about celebration
arabella Ella: i tyhink the answer is total interconnectedness Mick, total linkages
    Pema Pera: in whatever way
Pema Pera: but now to live the answer!
    arabella Ella: yes
    Pema Pera: to express it!
    Maxine Walden: Tarani, welcome.
Pema Pera: stopping further questions for questions sake
arabella Ella: even though as you say it is difficult to communicate Being in words?
    Pema Pera: Hi Tarani!
Scathach Rhiadra: may I ask a question?
    Trevor Berensohn: =)
    Tarani Kira: hi :)
Tarani Kira: may i join you?
Pema Pera: please do so, Tarani!
Pema Pera: Arabella, we can invite Being with words, that's enough!
    Pema Pera: Yes, please Scathach!
    arabella Ella: yes
    arabella Ella: or thoughts
Maxine Walden: Tarani, I will IM you about our discussions
    Pema Pera: yes
    arabella Ella: or experience
    Pema Pera: yes
    Mickorod Renard: hi Tarani
Tarani Kira: hi yes, thank you Maxine
Scathach Rhiadra: Being encompasses all, all is an arising, from the most sublime to the most trivial....
Scathach Rhiadra: so if we concentrate our 'seeing' in only what inspores us, makes us 'feel good'....
Mickorod Renard: but if all is a garden,,are we like flowers in the garden..or are we strolling through observing in an individual way?
Scathach Rhiadra: is ther not a damger of thinking that Being is exclusive to that, i.e. dualism?
    Pema Pera: (ask Being, Mick)
    Mickorod Renard: grin
Pema Pera: yes, that would be wrong, Schathach
Pila Mulligan: here's a thought Scathach (but maybe a digression in words): let's say what usually confuses our appreciation of Being is called Ego, but without condemning Ego as a fault or defect, so let's appreciate Ego as well
Trevor Berensohn: Wait exclusive to what?
Pema Pera: Being is beyond all dichotomies
    Pema Pera: yes, Pila ! ! !
Trevor Berensohn: Oh, like Ego is part of the arrising?
Pema Pera: all and everything can make us feel good, Schathach -- that is appreciating the presence of appearance
Pema Pera: the appearance of Ego is
Pema Pera: Ego doesn't exist :-)
Trevor Berensohn: Neither does "existence" ;-)
arabella Ella: isnt Ego our egoistical perspective where we separate ourselves from everything else in our experience?
arabella Ella: (something we should attempt to avoid)
Mickorod Renard: Ego conflicts with my own ethics,,so I subdue the feeling, which is a hinderance to feeling so enlightened
    sundhi Joubert: good luck...
    Pema Pera: hahaha
Pema Pera: just let it play, like a child, and ego won't bother you . . . .
Pema Pera: not too much anyway :)
    Trevor Berensohn: Hah
Pema Pera: you just clean up when ego spills something
    Mickorod Renard: thanks,,he he
arabella Ella: and Pema ... while we can still ask you ...what about the fullness of existence how does that link to all this?
    Pema Pera: life is fullness
Pema Pera: any moment, any person or thing you meet, you meet Being -- all of Being
Pema Pera: and the emptiness of existence is: all is a fiction -- both statements are true
Pema Pera: your bird is Being
Pema Pera: and so are you
    Trevor Berensohn: Hmmm quite perfect
    arabella Ella: yes
Pema Pera: but not in the fiction called "Arabella" or "bird"
Mickorod Renard: I have had several strange experiences,,where I let go of my own confinement and merge with my surroundings,,just for a fleeting moment,,its scary to see the diference
    arabella Ella: i see
Pema Pera: not in the fiction of "here, now, space, time"
Pema Pera: yes, the ego is scared :)
Pema Pera: hides under the mother's skirt
Pema Pera: give it some time
arabella Ella: eternal and encompassing recurrance
Mickorod Renard: I also have a colour deficiency,,yet during those moments colours are enhanced
    Trevor Berensohn: Scared or overwhelmed?
    Mickorod Renard: overwhelmed
Trevor Berensohn: Ah I had a similar experience & felt "dizzy"
Trevor Berensohn: Was interesting to stay with awhile
Pema Pera: that is completely normal, Trevor
Pema Pera: just take it easy :-)
arabella Ella: wanna tell us more Trev?
Trevor Berensohn: Not sure how to, but I realized I kept wanting to stop this umm flow of experiecne
    arabella Ella: yes
Trevor Berensohn: wanted to go back to something that felt substantial
arabella Ella: did u styop it or not?
Mickorod Renard: for me I also have body sensations like when as a child I may think I see a ghost..u know,,that tingle down the back etc
Trevor Berensohn: when I let that go, even though I was dizzy, my whole um framework of what I thought just kept expanding
Trevor Berensohn: or mebbe my perspective
    arabella Ella: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Nice
    arabella Ella: sounds intruiging
    Pila Mulligan: hi Bert
arabella Ella: apologies again had a lag with my chat
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Bertrum
    Pema Pera: np, Arabella!
    Mickorod Renard: hi Berty
    Maxine Walden: hi Bert
    Eliza Madrigal: Bertrum, hello
    Pema Pera: welcome again Bert!
Trevor Berensohn: Oh, we're back heh
    Trevor Berensohn: Hey Bert
    Bertrum Quan: hi everyone
    arabella Ella: Hiya Bert
Mickorod Renard: one things for sure,,I dont think I can function normally at this stage whildst in that state of seeing
Mickorod Renard: are you usually in a permanent state of seeing Pema?
    Pema Pera: not permanent, Mick
Pema Pera: but more and more frequent
    Trevor Berensohn chuckles... permanent
    Pema Pera: to various degrees
Pema Pera: like we all are
    Mickorod Renard: cool
Pema Pera: but it takes a well to see that more clearly
Pema Pera: we are all the same, really
Trevor Berensohn: Is this how it progresses then, Pema?
Pila Mulligan: Mick, in my expereince probably half or more of those situations of disturbing sensations can be resolved by some type of exhalation exercise
Pema Pera: well, at first we refuse to recognize
Pema Pera: then slowly we begin to accept glimpses
    Mickorod Renard: thanks Pila
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: then we learn to see that we can never "fall out of it"
Pema Pera: but we will still do -- seemingly so
Mickorod Renard: I am not too worried about it,,I just need to choose my times,,instead of doing it inapropriatly
Pema Pera: but when we see we *again* fell out of it -- and that moment we realize we're back into it
Pema Pera: yes, Pila, breathing helps a lot
Pila Mulligan: 'don't hold your breath while waiting for eternity'
Trevor Berensohn: Hmm sounds like you fight it less than I do, Pema =)
Eliza Madrigal: Isn't it just acclimating, like getting into a pool? Dip in, dip out...dip in more and more...dip out less and less..comfortably
Pema Pera: and all kind of physical exercises
    Mickorod Renard: he he he
Pema Pera: yes, play as Being, Eliza :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: grow gills....
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
arabella Ella loves Eliza's analogy ... so lovely
Mickorod Renard: I have always been a dive in sort of chap Eliza
    Pema Pera: or just drown!
Trevor Berensohn: Golfers call it "grooving your swing" or something.. sounds like it heh
Eliza Madrigal: haha...yes...til it doesnt seem scary deep anymore
Pema Pera: going all the way
arabella Ella: i can identify with that Eliza
    Mickorod Renard: need some floaties
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Ara
    Trevor Berensohn: Huh?
    Pila Mulligan: hi Fefonz
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Fefonz
    arabella Ella: Hiya Fef
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Fefonz:)
    Pema Pera: hi there Fef!
    Mickorod Renard: Hi Fefonze
Fefonz Quan: Hey, guess i am late :)
Mickorod Renard: thanks for doing last tusday Fef
    Mickorod Renard: tuesday
    Fefonz Quan: no problem Mick
Pema Pera: we've been talking about what you brought up yesterday, Fef, about how Being seeing can be Being seeing itself as us, and some of what that can mean
Fefonz Quan: there goes the theme for next thursday ;-)
    Scathach Rhiadra: :)
Trevor Berensohn: Oh it'll be a good theme to continue, Fef
Tarani Kira: Please pardon me, it's been great observing your conversation, I must leave
    Pila Mulligan: bye Tarani
    Pema Pera: bye Taran!
Maxine Walden: thanks for coming, Tarani
    arabella Ella: bye Tarani
Pema Pera: oh, sure, we won't exhaust it quickly, Fefonz!
    Mickorod Renard: bye tarani
arabella Ella: well Fef i think there is lots more to discuss on this topic
    arabella Ella smiles
Fefonz Quan: i thought you discuss time today
Fefonz Quan: (and time flew to me, i neant to be here at 4
    Fefonz Quan: ==1pm)
    Pila Mulligan: :)
Pema Pera: [13:07] Maxine Walden: Pema, do you have something you would like us to pursue? [13:08] Pema Pera: perhaps the fullness of existence?
Pema Pera: and there we went!
Maxine Walden: We thought about discussing various aspects ofBeing and the fullness of existence on this last Sunday 1pm SL for Pema for awhile...
sundhi Joubert: as expressed in mud wrestling...
Pema Pera: actually, tomorrow at 1 pm we can continue, Fef and all !
Fefonz Quan: fullnes vs emptiness, hmmmmmm....
arabella Ella: well Fef we won't have many more opportunities to ask Pema questions for some time so i took the opportunity :)
Pema Pera: Stim last week refused to talk about how existence can be real, but we can rope him in now for this topic
    Trevor Berensohn: Vs!? lol
Pema Pera: oh, I'll be here for the other sessions, Arabella: 7 pm 1am 7 am
Pema Pera: just not for the 1 pm sessions, after a week from now
Pema Pera: so we can continue Monday 1 pm and then Thursday 1 pm
arabella Ella: oh ... thing is this is the only feasible time for me
Fefonz Quan: i thought we roped stim to the corner of interdependant arising :)
Pema Pera: come visit me in Japan, Arabella!
Scathach Rhiadra nods, I thought that too:)
arabella Ella: maybe i will Pema
    Pema Pera: same topic, Fef
    arabella Ella: :)
Maxine Walden: dear all, have to go to another meeting. thanks for the great discussion
    Pila Mulligan: bye Maxine
Pema Pera: time for lunch for me, for the fullness of a fictitional lunch . . . .
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Pema enjoy the appearance of eating
Pema Pera: thank you all for such a vibrant discussion!
Fefonz Quan: at least i can show you what took my attention for the last hour - i learned to play that bob dylan song:
    Scathach Rhiadra: bye Pema, enjoy!
Pema Pera: and the appearance of Pema :)
    arabella Ella: bye pema
    Pila Mulligan: bye Pema
Trevor Berensohn: Oh thank you Pema
    Mickorod Renard: bye pEMA
    Pema Pera: which song, Fef?
    Fefonz Quan: bye pema
    Bertrum Quan: bye
    Fefonz Quan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8-eo...eature=related
arabella Ella loves bob dylan songs
    Fefonz Quan: blind willie mctell
Pema Pera: are you going to play it for us?
    Pila Mulligan: cool Fonzy
Fefonz Quan: not noew when you are oing pema ;-)
Scathach Rhiadra: ah, I love that song!

Trevor Berensohn: Helps me on my path so to speak
    Mickorod Renard: ;)
Trevor Berensohn wonders when he stood up...
Eliza Madrigal just erased "bye trevor" haha
Bertrum Quan: was the discussion on time with Pema nad Maxine deferred to another session?
    Trevor Berensohn: Ha!
Bertrum Quan: Like Fefonz I couldn't get here at 1PM
Eliza Madrigal: I wasn't here in the beginning either, so am not sure.
    Bertrum Quan: Pila, Mick?
Trevor Berensohn: Hmmm don't remember anything being said about that
Trevor Berensohn: I think the discussion just developed
Trevor Berensohn: & then Pema suggested we talk of this
Trevor Berensohn: perhaps it was more fitting to the questions being raised
Bertrum Quan: I may have gotten something mixed up... thought I read a message of that being the theme today...
Bertrum Quan: Have any of you attended Maxine's seesions on dreams?
Trevor Berensohn shuffles throuhg messages, only to watch them all fall from his hands, fluttering to the ground
    Bertrum Quan: sessions
    Eliza Madrigal: I have
Mickorod Renard: yes I have too
Eliza Madrigal: I enjoy them very much...casual, yet substantive :)
Mickorod Renard: I like them but I am so short of time
    Trevor Berensohn: When are they?
    Eliza Madrigal: Tuesday 2PM
Eliza Madrigal: At Kira though, not here
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey buddha!!
Bertrum Quan: I though that Pema and Maxine leading a session on time might also discuss the nature of time in dreams... that's a sibject I'd like to hear more about.
Eliza Madrigal: Bertrum, that is a fascinating idea
Mickorod Renard: there are so many classes on now its hard to have a RL
    Trevor Berensohn: Haha
Trevor Berensohn: Haven't been to Kira
    Trevor Berensohn: Hi buddha

Trevor Berensohn: Oh thank you eliza!
Adamina Pexington: Yea you want some too hunny do you?
Trevor Berensohn reads through his notes on greifers... or griefers
Trevor Berensohn: wait how do you mute someone?
Eliza Madrigal: She's happily muted for me...so no worries here.
Eliza Madrigal: Right click and it will say "Mute" in the pie
Fefonz Quan: funyy, seems like some clothes are slowly rezzing for my screen
    Fefonz Quan: too slowly*
    Trevor Berensohn: lol
Trevor Berensohn: the fountain is in the way here
    Eliza Madrigal: hahaha
    Fefonz Quan: :)
Trevor Berensohn: Hey how do you report someone... I know random question, but...
Eliza Madrigal: We're more of a spiritual nudist community...not quite the same thing
    Eliza Madrigal: haha
(explicitly pornographic description deleted from chatlog by the guardian)
Trevor Berensohn: Yes, lay your mind bare?
    Trevor Berensohn: Ha
Eliza Madrigal: Yes...drop your clothing of thoughts and Be
Fefonz Quan: well first time i used the mute bottom - it works1
    Fefonz Quan: !
Trevor Berensohn: How boring... she had no AOs to go with the story!!
    Fefonz Quan: AOs?
    Trevor Berensohn: Animation Override
    Trevor Berensohn: lol
Eliza Madrigal is thankful she quickly was out of range of the story
Trevor Berensohn: I mean, this is SL.. at least put on a good show!
    Eliza Madrigal: ahem
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Trevor Berensohn: I've seen (& heard) better at Elven Forest lol
Fefonz Quan: do you incline that SL man are harder to get?
    Fefonz Quan: men*
Trevor Berensohn: Not that I've found, Fonz
    Trevor Berensohn: ;-)
    Eliza Madrigal is silent
Trevor Berensohn: Well, I have virtual shopping to catch up on
    Fefonz Quan: enjoy trevor :)
Trevor Berensohn: Good to see everyone... hope to do this agina real soon
Eliza Madrigal: Now, "Bye Trevor" So good to see you
    Bertrum Quan: bye
    Fefonz Quan: bye trevor
Fefonz Quan: whyt the "" eliza?
Eliza Madrigal: Just kidding....a subject I have nothing to say about :))
    Fefonz Quan: which subject?
Eliza Madrigal: Whether or not it was a good show!
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Fefonz Quan: well i didn't see any show, apart from no cloth and low text, that was the issue :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bertrum Quan: It was certainly intended to be rude whatever it was
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Fefonz Quan: well, it succeedded, make me test the mute option ;)
Eliza Madrigal: Now you've learned something new!
    Fefonz Quan: yep!
Fefonz Quan: does it makes the avatar figure to disappear too?
Eliza Madrigal: It is funny, but the first time I used taht feature, I dreamed someone broke into my house...was standing in the kitchen, and when I turned the corner they looked like that!
Fefonz Quan: broke into your SL house?
Eliza Madrigal: Grey and blank..No, was my real house, but in the dream more like an office
Eliza Madrigal: Guess the image startled me at some level
Fefonz Quan: ah, so you muted in (dram) RL?
    Fefonz Quan: dream*
    Eliza Madrigal: I didn't mute...was already muted.
Fefonz Quan: i see. a bit like the movie "Being there" with Peter Selers
Eliza Madrigal: Just processing I guess, because when someone is offensive, it is an intentional invading of what you see as your space.
Fefonz Quan: where he tried to use a TV remote control on real people
Eliza Madrigal: I've not seen that!
Eliza Madrigal: Will have to netflix now :)
Bertrum Quan: Peter Sellers gives a wonderful performance...
Bertrum Quan: The movie has a political message that is also quite apt as well.
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks for the tip. :)
Bertrum Quan: On another subject, Eliza, how did your daughter's drama trip work out.
Eliza Madrigal: Wonderfully! Thanks for asking. :)
Eliza Madrigal: I feel so secure about her...
Eliza Madrigal: feel that she handled everything very well and that is great comfort :)
Bertrum Quan: That's good to hear. You were up very late... (or early!) to see her off.
Eliza Madrigal: yes :) I'm glad that I was. That was a great conversation you two were having, regarding time
Bertrum Quan: Fefoz, that was a subject at one of the 1AM session...
Bertrum Quan: We were chatting with Wol.
    Fefonz Quan: about time?
Bertrum Quan: Yes. And referring back to the session led by Wol and Pema.
Fefonz Quan: ah, nice. be glad to read the chat log. is it up? to you have link/datetime?
Bertrum Quan: I'm pretty sure it's up. But I'm not very good at the technical aspects of SL... so I don't know how to find the link. Eliza, do you remeber when that session was?
Eliza Madrigal: I've not been able to read logs today...but yes it was an early session on
    Eliza Madrigal: April 3, 1AM?
Fefonz Quan: weell if you just open a browser outside SL, and go to the PaB wiki, there is a list there, and you can get to it and compy the link, but i gues i will be able to find it
Bertrum Quan: Okay, let me see if I can do that. Just a minute...
Bertrum Quan: I found it--ELiza's right--it's April 3 1AM.. Session titled non-linear time. Something about the setting of my computer won't allow me to paste the url in.
    Fefonz Quan: ok, cool, thanks
Bertrum Quan: so many little frustrations with technology!
Eliza Madrigal: no kidding! I tried getting to the site at least 10 times today...had wanted to read yesterday's 7AM
Eliza Madrigal: Then I realized I'd gotten attached to reading logs every morning like a newspaper :)
Fefonz Quan: well, sounds more hea;lthy in a way, but still need to be careful
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Fefonz Quan: we can get it out as a daily paper :)
    Fefonz Quan: THE PABER NEWS
    Eliza Madrigal: !!!
Bertrum Quan: It's interesting with PaB that we are using such high tech devices to get in tune with the natural work..
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
    Bertrum Quan: natural world...
    Eliza Madrigal: certainly it is
Fefonz Quan: well, PaB just communicate us from a far, the real work is in RL
Fefonz Quan: (i meant the paB meeting, nnot the practice)
Eliza Madrigal: It is a time neutralizer
    Bertrum Quan: time and space...
    Eliza Madrigal: yes
Bertrum Quan: but it's not what it seems either...
Bertrum Quan: that's another interest aspect of meeting in SL
    Bertrum Quan: interesting
Bertrum Quan: It makes the "world" larger and smaller at the same time for me.
Fefonz Quan: it makes the internal world larger, and the 'illusion' of external smaller
Eliza Madrigal: Excellent way of putting that, Bertrum
Bertrum Quan: Thanks. And Fefonz, yes... SL reiforces that everything is connected...
    Eliza Madrigal: It can
Bertrum Quan: The PaB part of SL is what I meant to say
Fefonz Quan: guys, i'll get back to RL, might finished a second song today ;0
    Fefonz Quan: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yes....
Eliza Madrigal: Bye Fef. Nice to see you..can't wait to hear you play!
Fefonz Quan: thanks for the talk and company :)
    Bertrum Quan: Take care Fefonz
Fefonz Quan: maybe on the summer retreat - will you be ther e?
Eliza Madrigal: I won't...no, will be heading to Colorado and wish I could stretch it...
Eliza Madrigal: but not this year :)
Eliza Madrigal: You can play online though :))
Fefonz Quan: ok, so another time :)
Fefonz Quan: Bye Bert, Eliza, have a good week :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bye :) You too Fefonz
    Bertrum Quan: You as well.
Eliza Madrigal: Sigh. I should go also. It is an unusually quiet day here :)
Eliza Madrigal: I'll talk to you very soon, and I hope to be able to talk about time and dreams. :)
    Bertrum Quan: Grewat, thanks Eliza!
Bertrum Quan: Great.... look forward to it.
    Eliza Madrigal: :) Talk soon.
    Bertrum Quan: Bye, ELiza.
