Riddle Sideways: are you new here?
Nymf Hathaway: This is our first time Riddle :)
Nymf Hathaway: Our as in we meet :)
Riddle Sideways: ah, then you'll want to know about us
Nymf Hathaway: Sorry for the misunderstanding but I have been here more often :) just without walking into you :)
Riddle Sideways: there is a note card on that post just outside
Riddle Sideways: ok
Riddle Sideways: someday I need to clean my inventory closet
Riddle Sideways: I can't find anything :(
Nymf Hathaway: :))) familiar :)
Riddle Sideways: how about you Mayo?
Nymf Hathaway: Seems afk :)
Riddle Sideways: I have attention like that
Riddle Sideways: the lights are on, but afk
Riddle Sideways: RL has been so busy I have not been able to keep up here
Riddle Sideways: not even the reading of past chats
Nymf Hathaway: Life comes in waves...:)
...
Riddle Sideways: ah, the 90 sec gong has stopped doing the foggy fountain
Nymf Hathaway: yes
Riddle Sideways: for several weeks the fountain was foaming every 15 min
Nymf Hathaway: yes untill today even :) just stopped it
Riddle Sideways: never know when a Storm will come and change things :)
Nymf Hathaway: hahhahaha
...
Riddle Sideways: are you reading the email group?
Nymf Hathaway: Since this week on a more regular base than before :)
Riddle Sideways: or has the subject of 100 days of thing APA been talked here?
Nymf Hathaway: Not that I know of...but I just returned after being away for 7 months :)
Nymf Hathaway: Better ask Sophia :)
Nymf Hathaway: Hello Sophia :))
Riddle Sideways: good morning, sophia
sophia Placebo: morning riddle
Riddle Sideways: RL is such that I can't sign up / commit to 100 days of anything
Riddle Sideways: but, am trying real hard to appreciate every 15 min
Riddle Sideways: Appreciate seems pretty easy part
sophia Placebo: by appreciate you mean?
Riddle Sideways: sorry, my computer (or SL) is acting weird
Riddle Sideways: the appreciating the presence of appearance
Riddle Sideways: several months ago we were into the study of PAPAB
Riddle Sideways: the first P (Playing) is taken off
Riddle Sideways: the last B (Being) removed
Riddle Sideways: and simplify on Presence
Riddle Sideways: I not completely sure what it means to me
Riddle Sideways: so many 9-seconds every 15 min I think about it
Riddle Sideways: most times just a phrase/sentence/verse
Riddle Sideways: Appreciate the Presence of Appearance
sophia Placebo: can you give me an example so i can follow your thoughts path?
Riddle Sideways: hehe, I can't often follow me :)
sophia Placebo: :))
Riddle Sideways: seems that I have been thanking Being for this fun reality I enjoy for my whole life
Riddle Sideways: Appreciating existance, reality, etc.
sophia Placebo: nods
Riddle Sideways: tearing the sentence apart
Riddle Sideways: I'd like to build to an example that has been resonating around me
Riddle Sideways: presence seems almost easy
Riddle Sideways: presence can be felt
Riddle Sideways: it is here
Riddle Sideways: or I invent it here with sences
sophia Placebo: i understand
Riddle Sideways: so we appreciate the presence
Riddle Sideways: easily
Riddle Sideways: on many fronts, angles, edges
Riddle Sideways: now that that presence is of an appearance gets hardder
Riddle Sideways: but maybe not
Riddle Sideways: maybe that 'an' should not be in there
sophia Placebo: like to appreciate the moon reflection on lake surface?
Riddle Sideways: yes, and more
Riddle Sideways: if we can only sense the reality with our 8 sences
sophia Placebo: 8?
Riddle Sideways: (or so)
sophia Placebo: :)
Riddle Sideways: we are sensing the presence with only our sences
sophia Placebo: sometimes with assistance
Riddle Sideways drifts off musing about pre-sence, pre-sencing then sence
Riddle Sideways: back
sophia Placebo: like the microscobic things or waves of light or waves of sounds we cant sense with our senses alone
Riddle Sideways: assistance from mom/dad, group conscience?
sophia Placebo: if you are deaf , mom cant do anything
Riddle Sideways: maybe the first time you were appreciating the moon in the lake
Riddle Sideways: you really thought the moon was in there
sophia Placebo: do you think?
Riddle Sideways: somebody told/taught you it was "reflection"
sophia Placebo: couldnt i just go and touch the lake?
sophia Placebo: or being suprised by seeing myself reflection there?
Riddle Sideways: [ref. to kids books "Daddy give me the Moon"]
Riddle Sideways: yes, mirrors are great tools
Riddle Sideways: seemingly locked into a reality image
Riddle Sideways: then some mirror reverses it
Riddle Sideways: or translates, transcends
sophia Placebo: hmm, kids play that they are eating , dosnt mean that they dont know when the time they get hungery , this platful imeginary food wont work
Riddle Sideways: hmmmm, that is a big discussion
Riddle Sideways: I remember some fasts when imaginary food did work :)
Riddle Sideways: the appreciation is abundant
sophia Placebo: i dont know but the kids i've been in contact with are hard to convince them with imagenary food while hungery
sophia Placebo: they would eat me lol :)
Riddle Sideways: yes :)
sophia Placebo: but if they were like desperate or near desperate , they go to imagination as a resort of hope
sophia Placebo: i cant imagine a desperate child , i hope there is non
Riddle Sideways: unforunitly there are
Riddle Sideways: and/or they perceive as desperate
sophia Placebo: sad maybe , desperate is a very harsh way of thinking
Riddle Sideways: little fat boy crying at a McDonalds sign along the road
Riddle Sideways: little girl in Darfur
Riddle Sideways: different levels of desparate
sophia Placebo: by child i mean the early childhood specifically
Riddle Sideways: when food, comfort, nuritment are all confused
Riddle Sideways: desperately needs something and only has cry as voice
sophia Placebo: cry is a sign of hope that someone would hear
Riddle Sideways: not sure that is limited to early childhood
sophia Placebo: i meant the no desperate child , i limit this sentence to early chilhood
sophia Placebo: but i guess you are right , crying is a sign of hope even after childhood
sophia Placebo: at least for some poeple
Riddle Sideways: maybe you are right (no desparate child), I keep bringing up images of children that I think should be desparate
Riddle Sideways: the village has no food for the child
Riddle Sideways: the mother has no milk
sophia Placebo: that is a very sad image indeed
Riddle Sideways: I don'tlike thatimage
sophia Placebo: who dose
Riddle Sideways: yet is it me putting that 'desparate' into the picture
Riddle Sideways: it is ALL the child knows
Riddle Sideways: it is existance
Riddle Sideways: for them
Riddle Sideways: I know different and can feel the sad/anger
Riddle Sideways: do they?
Riddle Sideways: or is itjust their reality
Riddle Sideways: sorry, I don't likethis chat
Riddle Sideways: sometimes we need to chat aboutt bad things
sophia Placebo: i understand
Riddle Sideways: is kinda sick that my appreciation comes from an angle where I am overjoyed that I have it better then most others
Riddle Sideways: that is a hollow thankful ness
sophia Placebo: well , wouldnt be just sick likewise if you dont feel joy for good things
Riddle Sideways: true
sophia Placebo: wouldnt you think that those hungery children would feel and appreciate feeling joy for a good meal
Riddle Sideways: I think that
sophia Placebo: dont you think that the image of a young healthy but desperate man carry some sickness in it
Riddle Sideways: yes, desparation is a sickness
Riddle Sideways: drives many/most to despare acts
sophia Placebo: true , drives poeple to not help the other desperates too
sophia Placebo: cuz in the end all have a sick life in his thinking
Riddle Sideways: very hard to imagine what it would be like to be in their mocasins
Riddle Sideways: the struggle is I have the need to know what that mentally is, but no need to go totaly there
Riddle Sideways: [SL is acting badly]
Riddle Sideways: I enjoy walking in the light
Riddle Sideways: how long should I walk in darkness to know the difference
sophia Placebo: i enjoy walking in the dark under a clear sky
sophia Placebo: well in that sense , my grandfather once told me something he said if i tell you that this color is not red then i showed you the color scheme and asked you where is the red?
sophia Placebo: you wouldnt know the red nor any other color not even the one i told you it is not red
Riddle Sideways: yes, good point and example
sophia Placebo: but if i told you that this color is red , you would know that color and would know that the others are not red
sophia Placebo: yes , it comes to my mind in times of thoughts confliction , that i need something true to hold me in the ocean of ideas
Riddle Sideways: yet, if my grandfather told me both those things...
Riddle Sideways: I woul know iim to be a confusing old fool
Riddle Sideways: :)
sophia Placebo: :)
Riddle Sideways: which btw I think one of my grandfathers was
Riddle Sideways: maybe that is why we get 2 grandfathers
sophia Placebo: hehe
Riddle Sideways: well, RL life (and this kitty in my face) need attention
sophia Placebo: bye riddle , nice chat with you :)
Riddle Sideways: it has very nice of you to let me go on and on
Riddle Sideways: have the nice day
sophia Placebo: hehe my pleasure
sophia Placebo: bye
