Kallie Kira: what do you find when you do it? what do you observe?
Nymf Hathaway: finally I get a change to focus on me... so it started out as to relax more but since it presents me questions I didn't ask myself before

Kallie Kira: English is my first language and when I type my thoughts I do it badly sometimes :)
Nymf Hathaway: yes sometimes we shorten our sentences etc
Kallie Kira: not that you are doing badly ... I didn't even guess that English was not your first language

Nymf Hathaway: well... I have always been a thinker, nothing new there but this group provides me with questions I didn't come up myself...as recently the question; Why do we become sad or have tears when seeing something beautiful....its a very interesting one
Kallie Kira: yes, what beyond ourselves moves us, what is that part of reality that is a common touchstone that we can know as beauty or loss? like that?
Nymf Hathaway: Yes :)
Nymf Hathaway: during the rest of the day it brought peace to think on it time by time
Kallie Kira: yes, I have had similar experiences
Kallie Kira: those things that touch us all, that commonality, I think of as a common thread among us beings, part of how we "be" in a common space of love, or beauty and how we can see that occasionally
Nymf Hathaway: Agrees
Nymf Hathaway: Talking about ancient.... these feelings of being vulnerable when looking at something beautiful... that feel ancient
Kallie Kira: yes, like a very compelling tie to what came before us
Nymf Hathaway: Yes

Kallie Kira: how do you think things that are more negative tie into the commonality .... I was discussing the nature of evil with my friend Zorn and what the motivation for that is .... wondering about how that fits in with the commonality of creatures
Kallie Kira: that perhaps it is a learned set of responses?
Nymf Hathaway: oooh interesting
Kallie Kira: or perhaps internal to that being?
Kallie Kira: or ... ???
Nymf Hathaway: first I think you need to determine evil...because negative is something different
Nymf Hathaway: someone can be negative without being evil
Kallie Kira: yes ... from my own experience I know I have done things (that I see in retrospect) that were of conflicting motivations but do not think I have done true evil, something with malice and cruelty .... so it is hard to understand
Nymf Hathaway: I agree...negative is something that overcomes us all once or twice...evil is a fully different thing
Nymf Hathaway: but interesting question!!!!
Nymf Hathaway: yes what is the purpose
Kallie Kira: exactly ... I don't get it ... I guess that is good that most people don't :)
Nymf Hathaway: Maybe there is none...and we humans just like to see a reason for everything that happens?

Kallie Kira: yes, for sure, a rational explanation is sought for everything

Nymf Hathaway: a philosopher pointed me towards this...on another topic (he was saying; is life perfect...since everything around is us beautiful, nature animals etc
Nymf Hathaway: but he said; no, we just forget a lot of animals is distinct...
Nymf Hathaway: what rest is: good
Nymf Hathaway: Its almost maths
Kallie Kira: I can see that... a preponderance of good
Kallie Kira: so, some outliers but maybe in the good range
Kallie Kira: is where most of the group lies
Nymf Hathaway: so why the negative on earth...because we have black and white, yin and yang, boys and girls...just a counter weight?

Nymf Hathaway: well look at the environment we are pretty close to a flip over... glaciers are melting...less reflection of the sun on the ice....ensures more warming up extra

Kallie Kira: yes, the situation is critical
Kallie Kira: maybe so
Nymf Hathaway: although she herself doesn't understand why it should do...do not see a good enough reason for negative so far
Nymf Hathaway: maybe to experience positive :)

Kallie Kira: I have the idea that things like 9sec and the way we share that and extend it and all the other things happening where people learn to share positive commonalities are small seeds for better days ahead .... a small hope anyway :)

Kallie Kira: I talk to my daughter about the nature of reality ... it seems she (and kids by extension) are closer to it than say someone older who has more time away from naturally seeing (be)
Kallie Kira: maybe because they are still close to the ground ... ha ha
Nymf Hathaway: yes and not forget...their eyes are on a lower level...so the are confronted by it up close...I see that with mine :)

Kallie Kira: yes, fewer complexities piled onto them so better access maybe

Nymf Hathaway: and what about the fact their brain is every 15 seconds thinking; wow from that I can make this...or heh a toy :)

Kallie Kira: I was recently on vacation and could drop my schedule .... each day was open, open to whatever I wanted to play ... it seemed so extravagant

Kallie Kira: yes .... I swam in the sea, then the pool, then ate, then back to the sea, then walking, no plan .... just hey let's go "anything" !!

Kallie Kira: seeing her room through my daughter's eyes it is probably like a comforting nest, through a mom's eyes a distressing mess .... relax big grasshopper, little grasshopper is happy :)
Nymf Hathaway: yes the bedroom :) almost need a stick to jump for the window at times :)

Kallie Kira: yes, or one of those exterior fire ladders to climb up and peer in :)
Nymf Hathaway: My mom always dumped it on my bed...so i couldn't go to sleep before cleaning up, that worked :)
