Sylectra Darwin: Its been a wild week.

Sylectra Darwin: How are you?

Pema Pera: oh, I'm fine, still in Kyoto, about to return to New York City in two days -- how about you?

Sylectra Darwin: Oh, good! I imagine it will be good to be back in NYC. The weather is heating up, unfortunately, but still very pleasant.

Sylectra Darwin: I had a job interview on Tuesday for a position called Interactive Marketing Manager.

Sylectra Darwin: It went really well and they want me to come back in tomorrow.

Sylectra Darwin: Social networking tools are part of the job ... :)

Pema Pera: glad to hear that -- I wish you good luck with the interview!

Sylectra Darwin: So I made my interviewer a folder with my LinkedIn recommendations, resume, and a Moo card with all my social networking "handles"

Sylectra Darwin: It's a corporation that owns many technical schools around the country.

Sylectra Darwin: They do have a new online school.

Pema Pera: the future of online education and research is fascinating -- in being totally unknown!

Sylectra Darwin: I read your note to the PaB group about the last 25 days...that must be really nice to know that retreat is coming together.

Sylectra Darwin: I've been wanting to get into education in some capacity associated with online stuff, so here's my chance.

Pema Pera: sounds good!

Pema Pera: there certainly must be a huge future there . . . can't wait to see what future :)
