The Guardian for this meeting was Riddle Sideways. The comments are by Riddle Sideways.  The wondering aloud is also mine.  The idiotic statements are also mine. The thoughts are everybodies (your's too while you read and digest).

Riddle Sideways: Good Morning, PaB Listener.
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: Good Morning, Element and Pema
Pema Pera: Hi Riddle and Vajra!
    Vajra Radikal: hi there riddle
    Vajra Radikal: pema
Pema joins Vajra and I, but I note that the AV bows at the edge of the mat.
Riddle Sideways: Pema, there was no need to bow on entrance :)
Riddle Sideways: you are in Cal now
    Pema Pera: :)
Pema Pera: I do respect the Sunny State!
Riddle Sideways: :) so do I
Vajra Radikal: hehe no longer in japan mate?
Pema Pera: in San Francisco today
Riddle Sideways: you should have fog today
    Pema Pera: yep
Vajra Radikal: go out 4 a chinese dinner 2nite
Vajra Radikal: i always enjoy chinese when at san fran
Pema Pera: yes, many Chinese restaurants here all right! I didn't 8 there you though :)
Riddle Sideways: I was reading through emails and blogs abouts thoughts

    Riddle Sideways: oops, Vajra poofed
Pema Pera: he turned into a thought perhaps :)
    Riddle Sideways: that happens

Pema Pera: what were your thoughts about those emails and blogs?
Riddle Sideways: thoughts on thoughts are often my problem
Riddle Sideways: not enough time on any one, just watching all of them
Riddle Sideways: was my mentors big teaching for me
Riddle Sideways: to skip past all the analysis and watching to be here now
    Pema Pera: !!!!
Riddle Sideways: but it didn't really take
    Pema Pera: ????
Riddle Sideways: I just watch thoughts all the time
Riddle Sideways: sorry, would be long explanation
Pema Pera: can you give us the executive version, Riddle :-) ?
    Pema Pera: Hi Qt!
    Riddle Sideways: goodd morning, QT
    Qt Core: hi all
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, in aikido I would be thinking about the thoughts and meta thoughts rather then the just acting
Riddle Sideways: judging and/or watching the flow rather then flowing
Riddle Sideways: best times are sitting on the bank watching the river flow
Riddle Sideways: but need to get in and float sometimes
Pema Pera: yes, it's a balance
    --BELL--
    Riddle Sideways: <bell>
Riddle Sideways: switching from input overloads to thought overloads
Riddle Sideways: to just watching the thought barriage going by
Pema Pera: when you just sit, for a few minutes or longer, and just watch your thoughts come and go, what happens?
Qt Core: the explosions of level and meta level of "minds" watching the underlying level
Riddle Sideways: sometimes the watching makes them faster and sometimes they slow down
    Pema Pera: yes
    Riddle Sideways: can go either
Pema Pera: do you sometimes find that there are gaps between thoughts?
Riddle Sideways: many times and sometimes overlapping
Riddle Sideways: yes, years spent being into those gaps
Riddle Sideways: most times nowI watch the overlapping
Riddle Sideways: the metas watching the actives and the waiting to enters
    Pema Pera: :)
Pema Pera: a crowded train station!
Riddle Sideways: thoughts (about lunch) finding a parking spot for later
Riddle Sideways: a subway car filling with messages to deliver during todays speech
Qt Core: sometimes i got lost for minutes on metas (especially here) and
Pema Pera: alas, breakfast call, here at the conference I'm attending in San Francisco . . . I look forward to continue this conversation, Riddle, next time we get a chance!
    Pema Pera: bye for now
    Riddle Sideways: ok, bye Pema
    Qt Core: bye, have fun
    Pema Pera: bye Qt!
Riddle Sideways: there are metas and tidbits and partially formed thoughts going by
Riddle Sideways: do you find the gaps between ?
Qt Core: as iv void between thoughts where the metas just wonder about its existence
    Qt Core: as in
Riddle Sideways: yes, those are good ones
Qt Core: usually when i have those i "awoke" at the bell of the next silence period , when they happen when i'm here ;-)
Qt Core: not that i have so long voids/gaps but that sims to trigger some kind of "disengaging" from the external world/sense
Riddle Sideways: yes, all those inputs from RL sensors get disengaged or slow down
Riddle Sideways: and the thoughts about those get caught up
Qt Core: even if they are present and aknoledged they just don't matter
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: so the metas are processed
    Riddle Sideways: <bell>
Nymf Hathaway: Hello Riddle and Qt...nice to see you both again :)
    Nymf Hathaway: oops
    Riddle Sideways: hi, Nymf
    Riddle Sideways: :)
    Qt Core: hi nymf
Nymf Hathaway: sorry to have interupt :(
    Riddle Sideways: NP
Qt Core: like in the previous session the synchronicity of the bell and the nearby churc ones is amazing
    Nymf Hathaway: :)
Qt Core: don't know why i haven't noticed it before
Riddle Sideways: and that owl whooting
Qt Core: (a rl church i mean)
    Riddle Sideways: o
Riddle Sideways: rather like what we were chatting
    Riddle Sideways: outside stimulas
Riddle Sideways: if we ignore or it stops
Riddle Sideways: we are left processing our thought streams
Riddle Sideways: at some point we watch ourselves watching those thoughts
Riddle Sideways: we watch meta thougths about those thoughts
Qt Core: i usually ignore the church bell, as i'm hearing that since 1979 ;-) but this morning i almost juped on my seat
Riddle Sideways: yes, funny how that happens
Riddle Sideways: at some point we wwatch meta thoughts about the thoughts
Riddle Sideways: and get the sence that there is a meta behind the many meta thoughts
Qt Core: and then there are the metas in the dark, the ones that filter and allow/forbid us to think/say/do something
Riddle Sideways: the filters that work unseen
Riddle Sideways: funny how we can not look directly at those
Qt Core: somethimes i feel as when i speak in english the filter isn't working very well as if the "energy" it use is absorbed by the translating process
Qt Core: sadly as i get better at it i feel it coming back
    Riddle Sideways: very interesting watching
Riddle Sideways: when learning to ride a bike or rollerblade
Nymf Hathaway: sorry distracted in rl :(
    Riddle Sideways: yeah, me too
Riddle Sideways: you start out translating each word and parsing the parser
Riddle Sideways: too soon it becomes automagical
Nymf Hathaway: (this isn't fair towards you both, I will log off, sorry)
Qt Core: sometimes i even use words i don know the meaning! (well that i thiught i didn't knew)
    Riddle Sideways: no, Nymf
    Riddle Sideways: which or both?
Riddle Sideways: I am an english speaker firstmost and use words I prolly on't know the meaning
    --BELL--
Qt Core: when the conversation really flows or heat up and the metas can't keep up with the tought flow speed
    Riddle Sideways: <bell>
Riddle Sideways: we zoom right along and several words come out that we di not really plan
Riddle Sideways: many times it is the word/phrase that the listener knows/needs
Riddle Sideways: and a meta wonders how/why did you do that
Qt Core: yes, mostly is the right word, but when i see it written in the screen i don't recognize it immediatly
Riddle Sideways: unfornunatily for me, most times it looks stupid and off the mark :)
Riddle Sideways: why do I say such things
Riddle Sideways: why do I why about such
Qt Core: :-) it may be a first language thing, i do that in my own language :-)
Riddle Sideways thinks it is not a language thing
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, very sorry but I need to go
Riddle Sideways: phone just started my day
Qt Core: np, have a nice day
Riddle Sideways: please come chat together again
    Riddle Sideways: thank you
    </bell></bell></bell>
