Wol Euler: monday 14 september, 1pm = 13:00
Yakuzza Lethecus: hiya, nabend wol
Yakuzza Lethecus: altes wollkneul :)
Wol Euler: heheheheheeh
Yakuzza Lethecus: also hey scah
Wol Euler: diese Kleider von Eshi Otawara sind eher als skulpturen als Kleider zu geniessen.
Wol Euler: hello scath
Wol Euler: and here comes storm, if I'm not mistaken
Wol Euler: oh, pila :)
Wol Euler: hello
Pila Mulligan: hi Wol, Yak and Scath
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Pila
Pila Mulligan: you look well bundeled Wol
Wol Euler: heheheh
Wol Euler: yeah, this dress doesn't really work when sitting down
Wol Euler: but it feels pretty comfy, like being wrapped up in a thick quilt
--BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: i hope nobody asked me anything yesterday after 2:30 i think i fall litererally asleep during the homework
Wol Euler: :)
Pila Mulligan: :0
Scathach Rhiadra: yes, we noticed:))
Pila Mulligan: I hope it was restful
Wol Euler: hello stim
Pila Mulligan: hi Stim
Scathach Rhiadra: hello Stim
Wol Euler: hello bertram
Stim Morane: Hi everyone!
Pila Mulligan: hi Bert
Bertram Jacobus: hello everybody ... :-)
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Bertram
Yakuzza Lethecus: yeah, i got to get up at 4:30 in the morning and it was already 11:30 pm for me, i didn´t intend to fall asleep but it was not a good idea to close my eyes because it was in voice :)
Pila Mulligan: incidentally, an idea for those interested in the future of virtual worlds on opensim -- you can register your avi name for free at OSGrid, the largest of the open sim grids -- then it is yours there too
Pila Mulligan: http://www.osgrid.org/elgg/account/register.php
Scathach Rhiadra: mmm, we heard some snoring:)
Bertram Jacobus: hi gaya ... :-)
Pila Mulligan: hi Gaya
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello everyone :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: what do we have to change in the regular sl client pila ?
Yakuzza Lethecus: i have the hippoclient so far
Pila Mulligan: you add a line to the shortcut that launches the SL borwser
Yakuzza Lethecus: and is it possible to teleport to the osgrid out of the secondlife grid ?
Pila Mulligan: I have niot used the other browsers, so I do ont know about hipppo
Pila Mulligan: not yet, TP is not yet available
Wol Euler: no, SL doesn't connect to the OSgrid
Pila Mulligan: but within opensim it is
Pila Mulligan: not yet
Yakuzza Lethecus: so it´s not possible to have a scripted object ?
Wol Euler: you can use hte normal SL browser to get to osgrid, there's an instructions page at their website
Yakuzza Lethecus: that teleport from sl to opensim ?
Pila Mulligan: this is what you add : -multiple -loginuri http://osgrid.org:8002 -loginpage http://osgrid.org/loginscreen.php -helperuri http://osgrid.org/
Wol Euler: no, no connection.
Wol Euler: (no teleport9
Pila Mulligan: people are scripting and making stuff like craxy already in pensim
Pila Mulligan: but the SL scripts are coyrighted, so they doont transfer, as I understand it
Gaya Ethaniel: Yakuzza, did you fall asleep last night btw?
Wol Euler smiles
Pila Mulligan: he confessed just before you arrived Gaya
Gaya Ethaniel: If so, maybe it's too late for people in the central European time zone ...
Pila Mulligan: hi Mick
Wol Euler: hello mick
Bertram Jacobus: hey mick :-)
Stim Morane: hi mick
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Mick :)
Mickorod Renard: Hiya
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Mick
Mickorod Renard: sorry I been missing,,but net was down
Gaya Ethaniel: oops sorry I didn't mean to type that in the local chat ... :(
Mickorod Renard: have I missed anything?
Wol Euler: corvi!
Yakuzza Lethecus: hey corvi, mick
Bertram Jacobus: hello corvi ! ... :-)
Pila Mulligan: hi Corvi
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Corvi
Mickorod Renard: Hi Corvi
Stim Morane: Hi Corvi!
Corvuscorva Nightfire: ohhh And Gaya...
Stim Morane: nice to see you, Corvi
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello Corvi :)
Corvuscorva Nightfire: and you, Stim..nice to see everyone..I dont' think I've been in this big a group for a while.
--BELL--
Mickorod Renard: gig but quiet
Mickorod Renard: big*
Bertram Jacobus: so different : i mostly sit in such big groups here ... :-)
Pila Mulligan: during yetredays voice chat I mentioned my thoughts about interconnectednes including all living beings, including animals and even trees -- there seemed to be some skpeticism there :) -- any thoughts here?
Bertram Jacobus: but i don´t find it very important whether a group is big or small ... ;-)
Wol Euler thinks of Maxine
Wol Euler thinks of Maxine's rabbit and smiles
Pila Mulligan: :)
Wol Euler: wb gaya
Mickorod Renard: I have felt that too Pila,,but sometimes,,when I feel a bit stressed I loose that feeling
Corvuscorva Nightfire: uh..in a very physical way we exchange bits of ourselves with everything
Corvuscorva Nightfire: we breathe out and the tree breathes in...
Pila Mulligan: that's kind of how I see it too
Corvuscorva Nightfire: is that what you mean?
Pila Mulligan: yes, maybe more too, energy wise
Corvuscorva Nightfire considers this...well we're exchanging electrons with everythign we brush by..
Pila Mulligan: and it is a sensitivity that is affected by other demands of the sesnes Mick
Mickorod Renard: I like the feeling on interconnectedness very much,,and when I am not feeling it I identify it with not feeling as happy as I could
Pila Mulligan: :)
Mickorod Renard: yes Pila,,exactly
Pila Mulligan: my closest neighbors are a couple of horses that often hang out at a fence near my house -- we have a freindly greeting when they are there
Mickorod Renard: managing that time of unconnectedness is a problem for me,,I feel very frustrated smetimes
Wol Euler: :)
Mickorod Renard: thats nice Pila
Pila Mulligan: it is, indeed
Wol Euler: hello doug
Pila Mulligan: hi DOug
Mickorod Renard: Hi Dog
Gaya Ethaniel was thinking about 'interconnectedness' today too.
Mickorod Renard: Doug,,sorry
Gaya Ethaniel: Hello doug :)
doug Sosa: quiety hi.
Stim Morane: Hi Doug
Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi doug
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Doug
Bertram Jacobus: for me the connectedness of all is a permanent reality
Bertram Jacobus: and hello doug ... :-)
doug Sosa: :)
Wol Euler: hello agatha, come down and join us :)
Wol Euler looks up and grins
Bertram Jacobus: huhu agatha ! ;-) - or stay up if you like :o)
Wol Euler: seems to have scared her away
doug Sosa: "permanent" feels to me conceptual, not so experiential. Do we need it? Maybe.
Gaya Ethaniel is lagging so will just listen what shows up in the chat window.
Bertram Jacobus: for me it seems to be a fact doug
Mickorod Renard: contrasts sometimes provide clarity
doug Sosa: no fact without theory?
Pila Mulligan: maybe two different colroations there, in the word's use
Bertram Jacobus: nothing at all in the end may be
Bertram Jacobus: but to use a word you used doug : feelings are very real to me. and i feel also like written
Bertram Jacobus: when ever i´m concious about that or touched
Bertram Jacobus: and that´s most of the time
Bertram Jacobus: "okay" : sometimes i´m so in my thoughts, in my own thoughts ... that i may not see, feel or think about something else. but that does not mean to me that the link to all is interrupted then
Mickorod Renard: I long for a feeling of permanent connectivnes,,and also internal harmony
Mickorod Renard: but wonder whether I would become used too it and loose the special feeling it gives
Bertram Jacobus: that are two very different aspects mick i think
Bertram Jacobus: harmony and being connected
Mickorod Renard: maybe
Bertram Jacobus: being connected can be very heavy
--BELL--
Bertram Jacobus: so my experience
Bertram Jacobus: and harmony : i like it very much, too ... *small sigh* ... ;-)
Mickorod Renard: I feel very connected to life as a whole,,but not in a harmonious way,,I feel ruthless sometimes in the rush of life
Corvuscorva Nightfire: ruthless?
Mickorod Renard: if that makes sense
Mickorod Renard: yes, in that its too intense
Mickorod Renard: and some has to be disposed with
Mickorod Renard: rather than enjoyed
Corvuscorva Nightfire thinks about this...
Mickorod Renard: he he
Corvuscorva Nightfire grins over and keeps thinking
Corvuscorva Nightfire: that sounds related to Doug's thread of choosing what is "important"
Bertram Jacobus: do you have an idea, how that could change mick ?
Mickorod Renard: no..I think I keep coming to cross roads,,and maybe stay on the same route for fear of change
Bertram Jacobus: i think, that that is also a matter of time ...
Stim Morane: Yes
Mickorod Renard: is waiting complacency?
Bertram Jacobus: in german there is a phrase "many drips brake even a stone" ... in this way ...
Stim Morane: :)
Mickorod Renard: yes,,I know the saying
Mickorod Renard: I have changed, with time,,but my surrounding life is still mad
Bertram Jacobus: so not waiting, but trying to do something, to think about, to change - as it seems you do already (?) :-)
Mickorod Renard: grin,,yes indeed
Wol Euler: hello belily
Mickorod Renard: hi Beilily
Bertram Jacobus: and the surrounding ... can be a challenge ! i experience that by my own very intense at the moment (!) ... :-)
Bellily Millar: late as usual. greetings all! cheeky grin
Bertram Jacobus: hello belily :-)
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Bellily
Mickorod Renard: a very nice cheeky grin
Corvuscorva Nightfire: i Bellily
Bellily Millar: smirking even more broadly..
Bellily Millar: what were you all talking about?
Mickorod Renard: Pila started it
Pila Mulligan: interconnectedness
Stim Morane: Hi Bellily
Mickorod Renard: Pila Mulligan: during yetredays voice chat I mentioned my thoughts about interconnectednes including all living beings, including animals and even trees -- there seemed to be some skpeticism there :) -- any thoughts here?
Bellily Millar: ja, we are all part of one life-love-energy thing.. how specifically do you mean?
Bertram Jacobus: some of you may know thich nhat hanh (?) - he talks a lot about "interbeing" - in my eyes that is the same point. do you see that so too ? :-)
Stim Morane: this is his own, somewhat ideosyncratic interpretation of the Buddhist teaching of dependent origination.
Stim Morane: it works in some ways, not all.
Bertram Jacobus: so it´s not that what pila means stim ?
Pila Mulligan: well, let's see, on this idea maybe we can also consider the gaia theory, the noosphere of Tiehard de Chardin, Jung' s collective unconscious ...
Stim Morane: yes
Pila Mulligan: it is not an odd idea :)
Stim Morane: there are lots of versions of this
Stim Morane: you could add Taoism to the list to
Stim Morane: *too
Pila Mulligan: :)
Bertram Jacobus: but not thich nhat hanh´s intersein stim ? (sorry, i did not understand yet)
Bellily Millar: so that's when the ego comes in and wants to be him/herself, unique. is that where the trouble starts?
Stim Morane: Sorry, Bertram, I think we were just saying it's a rather common perspective.
Pila Mulligan: as in seeing it my way, Belilly?
--BELL--
Bellily Millar: maybe pila. i don't completely understand yet. comes from being tardy
Pila Mulligan: I would affirm the idea that people tend to see things uniquely according to their own ideas and predispositions
Bellily Millar: "my way" - oh! my way changes throughout the day and this life, and when we use the present moment to differentliate ourselves, we are forgetting about all the other states we have been in that would allow us to connect..
Pila Mulligan: :)
Mickorod Renard: I have noticed that when I learn of something,,it follows that I become in contact with things relevant to what I have learnt,,this then poses the question about connectivness and also ignorance is bliss
Stim Morane: :)
Wol Euler: hello ara
Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Arabella!
Pila Mulligan: hi Arabella
Mickorod Renard: Hi Ara
Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Ara
arabella Ella: Hiya everyone!
Bertram Jacobus: hello ara ! ... :-)

Bellily Millar: Ara, Ilike te way you just floated in... :)
arabella Ella: :)
arabella Ella: like a snowdrop from the sky perhaps ...

Mickorod Renard: I love the feeling of interconnectedness when out in the country
Mickorod Renard: walking and chilled out
arabella Ella: u mean the feeling of being as one with everything around you Mick?
Mickorod Renard: yes,,but sometimes its better at work to be slightly on the outside..looking in to get a better perspective
arabella Ella: sounds a bit like codependent arising to me ...
Wol Euler: :)
Mickorod Renard: well I get lost in it all,,but cope as best as I can
Stim Morane: :)
arabella Ella: sounds like a familiar feeling to me Mick too
Mickorod Renard: Hi Zeal
Zeal Moonites: hi
