    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Quen :)

    quen Oh: hi Eliza

    quen Oh: how are you?

Eliza Madrigal: Lovely pink you're in today.

Eliza Madrigal: I'm well, thanks... reading this morning and felt overstimulated... thought I'd switch gears :)

    quen Oh smiles, thank you

quen Oh: so you came to the pond

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sophia!

    quen Oh: hello sophia

quen Oh: nice to see you

Eliza Madrigal: Yes, came to relax by the pool with friends :)

sophia Placebo: hello Eliza , quen oh

    sophia Placebo: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Groovy glasses, Sophia :)

    sophia Placebo: ty ^^

sophia Placebo: how are you ?

quen Oh: ;-) will not ask what you were reading Eliza, that won't help you take your mind of

Eliza Madrigal: hehe.. Thank you :)

    --BELL--

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone

quen Oh: I am fine sophia, though have a lot on my mind lately.. difficult to find time for SL

quen Oh: hello Yakuzza, welcome too SophiaS

sophia Placebo whisper hi to sophiaS,and yak

Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yakuzza, SophiaSharon :)

SophiaSharon Larnia whispers back Hi :))

    sophia Placebo: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Just when you need SL the most... when one has a lot on their mind

    Eliza Madrigal: hehe

sophia Placebo: i once wanted to throw my mind in the garbage , that was the easiest way tio have time for myseelf , then i discover that i dont be me without it ,sad thing

SophiaSharon Larnia: it is an scape though, for some, if that's the case :)

    Eliza Madrigal smiles

    SophiaSharon Larnia: escape*

SophiaSharon Larnia: can you just save the mind somewhere, and retreive it when you want it? :)

    SophiaSharon Larnia: giggles

    sophia Placebo: lol

    Eliza Madrigal: hahah

    sophia Placebo: good idae

SophiaSharon Larnia: ok, i'll put *this* away now... hehe

Eliza Madrigal: yes why not.... put it aside on a table or shelf and watch a movie, or build in SL.

    quen Oh: mind in garbage??

SophiaSharon Larnia: what takes its place then? lol

quen Oh: that won't be the most inspiring surrounding for it lol

    sophia Placebo: ^^

quen Oh: even though perhaps my mind would feel at home there perhaps

    SophiaSharon Larnia: haha

    Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh, haha

quen Oh: like Oscar from Sesame Street

quen Oh: muttering on and on

quen Oh: my favourite on Sesame Street, only makes rarely an appearance this cuddly green puppet

quen Oh: would be nice indeed if you had a button on the mind to tune it down sometimes indeed, lol and indeed SophiaS, to make backups!

Eliza Madrigal: I used to do a writing excercize called "morning pages" which was a way of emptying the top layer of thoughts to get to the more substantive ones... that's a kind of putting a mind somewhere... the repetitive/busy one maybe

    SophiaSharon Larnia watches cartoons

Eliza Madrigal: like "Okay, now got that out of they way/paid my dues" hehe

sophia Placebo: a better i dea would be to put the mind thought s in the garbage

quen Oh: lol I often feel like a quadro processor, where it would be nice to put out of order 3 of them

    Eliza Madrigal: hahah

quen Oh: that would be the same perhaps as this exercise Eliza? how did it work?

sophia Placebo: yes like Eliza said

Eliza Madrigal smiles... what kind of cartoons do you like SophiaSharon?

Eliza Madrigal: quen it was a great practice. Now I'm not quite as disciplined but I still tend to write in the mornings

    quen Oh: ah interesting

SophiaSharon Larnia: ha! saturday morning ones, wouldn't be saturday morning without them, you may or may not be surprised the subliminal messages in them

SophiaSharon Larnia: (not so subliminal then lol)

Eliza Madrigal: those pages btw, were to be discarded... the idea came from a book called "The Artists Way" which has quite a following

    SophiaSharon Larnia: omg!!

SophiaSharon Larnia: i did that Eliza

    SophiaSharon Larnia: haha

sophia Placebo: haha so it is in the garbage afterall

    Eliza Madrigal: YES!

    Eliza Madrigal: hehe

Eliza Madrigal: Julia Cameron who wrote that book also talks about getting past the critic and the crazy-makers :) This is one way to quiet them :)

sophia Placebo: lovely , i used to do the same except i kept them in some notebook , i reread them like after 3 years or so and threw the garbage in the garbage

Eliza Madrigal: You didn't want to keep it sophia?

    sophia Placebo: nop

SophiaSharon Larnia: i have to confess, its around here somewhere

SophiaSharon Larnia: whoops wrong sophia lol

Eliza Madrigal smiles... wisdom women :)

    sophia Placebo: lol

SophiaSharon Larnia: i couldn't bear to throw it away

Eliza Madrigal: the book or the pages you write?

    --BELL--

SophiaSharon Larnia: the pages i wrote

Eliza Madrigal: Natalie Goldberg is another who writes in this kind of way.... it is a very meditative approach if you think about it.

Eliza Madrigal: In meditation we sit until the busy mind is quiet so that the clearer mind can surface?

SophiaSharon Larnia: i haven't thought of that book, and the pages i wrote, for a long time :)

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

SophiaSharon Larnia: in sitting and writing, the deeper, hectic mind surfaced

    Eliza Madrigal: hmm

SophiaSharon Larnia: handwriting degenerate to a scrawl

Eliza Madrigal: maybe cause you kept the pages...hehe

    SophiaSharon Larnia: maybe

    quen Oh: sorry, pff phone

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)

quen Oh: phone off, helps quietness too

quen Oh: emigrate to uninhabited island too

    Eliza Madrigal: Yes indeed!! Hahah

    sophia Placebo: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Or retreat village full of friendly people ?

quen Oh: but that would be the 'easy way out' lol

    quen Oh: also nice

Eliza Madrigal: some people work their whole lives to get to the island... not so easy

    SophiaSharon Larnia: wb Yakuzza :)

quen Oh: and friendly animals and lots of flowers

    Yakuzza Lethecus: thx :)

    Eliza Madrigal smiles, yes

sophia Placebo: make the background noise the default peacefull music

quen Oh: build one in ones head?

quen Oh: hehe so you can go inside to your private paradise

Eliza Madrigal: I bet Storm could design something for you which doesn't take too much space

    Eliza Madrigal: hehhe

quen Oh: sounds better than garbage

SophiaSharon Larnia: haha read that at first as private parody's ;p

    Eliza Madrigal giggles

Eliza Madrigal thinks of a billboard "Making head spaces for head cases"

SophiaSharon Larnia: hmm i saw that but i forget what it was in reference to

Eliza Madrigal apologizes for rampant silliness

    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Corvi

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Corvi!

    sophia Placebo: hi corvi

    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey corvi :)

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: hey ya'll

Corvuscorva Nightfire: rampant silliness...o god..that NEVER happens here.

    Eliza Madrigal laughs

SophiaSharon Larnia needs rampant silliness ;p

Eliza Madrigal: We've been talking about putting minds in the garbage cans and escaping to islands

    Yakuzza Lethecus: onigokko

    Corvuscorva Nightfire dies laughing

    sophia Placebo: :)

    Eliza Madrigal laughs

    Eliza Madrigal: stop

    Yakuzza Lethecus: stop

Eliza Madrigal: everyone but yakuzza and I forgot the uniform

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    SophiaSharon Larnia: haha

SophiaSharon Larnia: i did nt have it on

    Corvuscorva Nightfire sighs...

    SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry phone atm

Eliza Madrigal: darn phones... don't people realize we have the internet now?

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: giggles

    Eliza Madrigal: hehe

SophiaSharon Larnia: kk im thinking about making pab a sacred space no phones LOL

Eliza Madrigal: Sounds like a good idea... can't imagine phones in heaven

    --BELL--

quen Oh: sorry, grr now it was the door, people know that friday afternoon I am home. And as I am a lot away lately it gets busy now.

sophia Placebo: i g2g , nice to see you all

Eliza Madrigal: Bye sophia, nice to see you :)

Eliza Madrigal: Travelling for work or play, Quen?

    SophiaSharon Larnia: bye Sophia :0

    SophiaSharon Larnia: :) even lol

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Gt

    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt

    SophiaSharon Larnia: grr Qt even

    Qt Core: Hi all

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: Hi, Qt

    Qt Core: grr ?

SophiaSharon Larnia: typo Qt, i typed Gt

Eliza Madrigal: this has been pretty busy for a friday morning

Eliza Madrigal: or evening, as the case may be :)

Qt Core: topic, if one ?

Eliza Madrigal: We talked about busy minds a bit, Qt

Yakuzza Lethecus: putting the mind into the garbage :)

    Yakuzza Lethecus: and rampant silliness

Eliza Madrigal: in tech terms.. how to by-pass the busy mind and yes...rampant silliness is one way...

    Eliza Madrigal: :)))

Qt Core: interesting topic, sadly i was occupied... napping ;-)

SophiaSharon Larnia: sorry I have to go, take care all :))

    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye sophia :)

    Eliza Madrigal: Bye SophiaSharon :)

Yakuzza Lethecus: napping is always good :)

    Eliza Madrigal: yes :)

    quen Oh: bye Sophia

Yakuzza Lethecus: but i also have to still the mind somehow, i sleep only about 4-5 hrs at nights right now

Eliza Madrigal: In sleep it seems we go through the same process... working through a lot of the busyness, sorting the day

Yakuzza Lethecus: also thx to pab :P

Eliza Madrigal: Yakuzza, are you saying you sleep less due to PaB?

Qt Core: the busier my mind was during the day the more probable it is me dreaming... very weird dreams

Yakuzza Lethecus: it starts at 10pm in the evening

Yakuzza Lethecus: and i have to get up at 4:30 am

    quen Oh: really Yakuzza?

Yakuzza Lethecus: i am talking about the 1 pm session

    quen Oh: gosh

Yakuzza Lethecus: so when work is going then i really don't try to force myself staying awake

Eliza Madrigal: Ah, just stay for the text?

Yakuzza Lethecus: right, sometimes i stay awake all the time

Yakuzza Lethecus: thats also why i appreciate that it's earlier on sundays now

    Eliza Madrigal nods

    Yakuzza Lethecus: wb corvi

Eliza Madrigal: I've tried to balance out my online time in a linear way, but that doesn't seem to work

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: ty

Eliza Madrigal: now I allow for a day or two which seems uneven

Eliza Madrigal: sometimes we think we have to keep 'certain' schedules even when it isn't natural

    Eliza Madrigal: WB Corvi :)

Eliza Madrigal: Sleep is the same. I know we are 'supposed' to need at least 7 hrs, but maybe sometimes not?

Eliza Madrigal: times and seasons and all that

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: nods

quen Oh: sorry guys, it seems I am not able to balance my time, nor my concentration, I have to run already... hopefully will soon find the peace to read the rest of this probably for me very inspiring meeting!. Bye all

Yakuzza Lethecus: i think i need more napping

Eliza Madrigal: Bye Quen, hope things settle down for you

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: nappinnnggg mmmmm

    Qt Core: bye quen

    Eliza Madrigal: yes MMMM

    Corvuscorva Nightfire: bye quen!

quen Oh: (lol the stretching of my ava is sheer compensation in VR_

Yakuzza Lethecus: especially i started to nap during the afternoon but its not really relaxing for me, i haven´t elaborate a rhythm yet

    quen Oh waves

    --BELL--

Corvuscorva Nightfire: ulp..time for me to go...I didn't actually spend any time HERE

Corvuscorva Nightfire: but it's time anyway.

    Eliza Madrigal: Hugs,Corvi

    Yakuzza Lethecus: take care corvi

Eliza Madrigal: Nice to just check in sometimes :)

Qt Core: bye corvi, have fun

    Yakuzza Lethecus: and bye everyone

    Eliza Madrigal: Bye Yakuzza

Eliza Madrigal: "People come and go so quickly here"

Qt Core: fast goers day today

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: Yes, a little of a strange rhythm this morning... odd topic

Eliza Madrigal: I can't wait to see what Quen names the log :)

Eliza Madrigal: It started with sophia :7:17] sophia Placebo: i once wanted to throw my mind in the garbage , that was the easiest way tio have time for myseelf , then i discover that i dont be me without it ,sad thing

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Qt Core: i rarely read the log, as nice they are it make me sad as i wasn't there ;-)

Eliza Madrigal: If I couldn't sign onto SL and be a part of things, I think I'd still read the logs

Eliza Madrigal: just find them interesting...people's rhythms, etc

Eliza Madrigal is an odd duck maybe

Qt Core: no, i don't think, i like them too

Qt Core: it is only i become we may even say jealous ?

    Eliza Madrigal: :)

Eliza Madrigal: It is neat to see how we balance meditative ideas and busy lives

Eliza Madrigal: over the course of months, etc

Eliza Madrigal: set things aside, etc

Qt Core: i think that sometimes my inconscious mind do some meditation while i drive to/from work (as it is the same road since many years i can save a lot of "brainpower")

Qt Core: i say that as i often come ou with some enlightment in my car

Eliza Madrigal: Hmmm, yes cars sort of put one into another gear....

Eliza Madrigal: like doing dishes, etc.... occupy part of the mind maybe

Qt Core: in rare cases (don't even know even if i have to call them dangerous) i awake on the other side of the trip asking me if i really did it and where i "shut off"

Eliza Madrigal: OH, yes!! that can be so strange

Eliza Madrigal: it makes me think abou t identities... Hm...but I have to go...

Eliza Madrigal: haha...hard to leave as I like this tpic so much

Eliza Madrigal: It was nice to see you for a little while, Qt

Qt Core: nice to see you too, bye

    Eliza Madrigal: Bye for now
