    sophia Placebo: hi yak
    --BELL--
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hi sophia
Yakuzza Lethecus: but i am already gone, had login issues before
    sophia Placebo: bye !
sophia Placebo: i guess everyone today would had loggin issues
    Wol Euler: hello sophia
    sophia Placebo: hello Wol
Wol Euler: how are you today?
sophia Placebo: im good ty , you ?
Wol Euler: odd :) first day off in several weeks, I don't really know what to do, it feels like something is missing :)
    sophia Placebo: hehe
    sophia Placebo: i can imagine
Wol Euler: I walked downtown, had coffee in a nice cafe, looked in some new stores, now thinking about a nap :)
sophia Placebo: :)) best thing to do is to take a nap !
    Wol Euler grins and nods
    --BELL--
Wol Euler: I was admiring your Matrioshka dress as you sat down.
    Alfred Kelberry: em.. hi :)
    sophia Placebo: ty Wol ^^
Wol Euler: hello alfred, I'm glad you finally gathered the courage to come :)
Wol Euler: or let your arm be twisted.
    sophia Placebo: hello alfred
Alfred Kelberry: ouch, sorry, wol. landed on you :)
    Wol Euler: np
Alfred Kelberry: more like.. time has come :)
    Wol Euler: aha.
Wol Euler: the Moment spoke, then?
    Alfred Kelberry: hey, sophia
Alfred Kelberry: em.. i need to send a message quickly. give me a minute.
    Wol Euler: ok

    The Workshop

Wol Euler: sophia, I was thinking about starting a workshop on identity and appearance in SL, early next year
    sophia Placebo: in kira ?
Wol Euler: and I thought about you, because you are one of the few PaB attendees whose appearance changes regularly - or at all
    Wol Euler: yes, through kira.
    sophia Placebo: hehe
Wol Euler: I had thought to do the workshop as a combination of practical exercises and conversation with several people, sort of like the theme sessions at PaB.
Wol Euler: would you be willing to tak
sophia Placebo: that would be exciting
Wol Euler: yeah, I hope so :)
Wol Euler: it ccertainly interests me greatly.
    sophia Placebo: hello Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sophia, Wol, Alfred :)
Wol Euler: I'd like to talk to you about how you see yourself (selves) presenting in SL, and how you "inhabit" these identities
    Wol Euler: hello eliza!
Alfred Kelberry: ok, done (message sent)
Wol Euler: either privately or as part of the workshop, as you wish
    Alfred Kelberry: eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Wol Euler: ooh, blonde eliza!
    Alfred Kelberry: wow-wee! :)
sophia Placebo: but how it would be ?oh some sort of personal experiements
Eliza Madrigal: hehe... well at least for now Wol :)
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: I like your short hair very much
    Wol Euler: thank you! :)
Wol Euler: somehow I'm in the mood for this today, I don't wear it short often
Eliza Madrigal: If I had the budget for it, hair is something I'd change seasonally...heh
sophia Placebo: Eliza in blond hair and yellow dresss was shining , i mean you still shining
Wol Euler: (which is exactly the sort of thing I want to talk about in the workshop)
    Eliza Madrigal: :) workshop?
Alfred Kelberry: what? hair style? :)
    Wol Euler: appearance, character, identity...
Wol Euler: how these are formed in SL
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, identity
Wol Euler: because nothing is random here, every pixel was considered (at least potentially)
Eliza Madrigal: Sophia you must have the neatest inventory... very thematic outfits :)
Wol Euler: unlike RL where our bodies are "given" and barely malleable
Alfred Kelberry: surgeons can do miracles nowadays :)
sophia Placebo: lol Eliza , you wouldnt wish to have mine , very chaotic
Eliza Madrigal nods... for instance I felt very different for a few days, after changing hair... now have settled :)
Wol Euler: but (a) expensive, (b) timeconsuming and (c) largely irreversible
    Wol Euler: mmhmm, exatly :)
Eliza Madrigal: haha sophia :) Those quiet PaB sessions are a good time to organize
sophia Placebo: but search tool do help , and memory of things i do have
Alfred Kelberry: the "c" part is a bummer
    Wol Euler: yeah
Wol Euler: I'd be all for ttattoos if they were truly removable
Eliza Madrigal: yes especially when people get addicted to surgery... oh my :)
sophia Placebo: true i wont change my hair color in rl
    sophia Placebo: big adventure
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: but it is, actually. Didn't it feel different?
Alfred Kelberry: but women like adventures. or so it seems :)
Eliza Madrigal has had basic variations of the same hairstyle for about 15 years
    Eliza Madrigal: (in RL)
sophia Placebo: no alfred they calculate everything when it comes to hair
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: i mean, the women i know have changed their hairstyle at least once :)
Eliza Madrigal nods to Sophia. I do change color though... variations of the same 5 shades mostly
Alfred Kelberry: ouch, i've just noticed. i am being recorded :)
sophia Placebo: in sl at least each 3 days !
    Alfred Kelberry: hehe
Wol Euler: oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to say, I've known you so long I thought you ahd been here before.
Wol Euler: um, yes, we record and publish these sessions.
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
sophia Placebo: you havent been here alfred befor ?
Wol Euler: if you wish, we can take your name and comments out of the log.
Alfred Kelberry: for some reason i'm not adventurous with hair in sl. although it's a click of mouse away.
    Wol Euler: hello qt
Alfred Kelberry: sophia: one or two times before, shortly
    Qt Core: hi all
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Qt
sophia Placebo: http://playasbeing.wik.is/ the wiki site in case you miss it
Alfred Kelberry: i've known about pab for a long time though :)
    sophia Placebo: hi Qt
Eliza Madrigal: We could replace "Alfred" with "Scarf wearing friend"
    Wol Euler: :)
    Wol Euler: or Stander.
    Alfred Kelberry: hi, qt
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Alfred Kelberry: any connection with qt library? :)
Wol Euler: one of Alf's little peculiarities is his allergy to sitting down :-PPPPP
sophia Placebo: but what brought that idea to you Wol ?
Qt Core: more than with cute but really none
    Alfred Kelberry: wol :)
Eliza Madrigal enjoys friendly peculiarities in people
Alfred Kelberry: oh, i do too, eliza
Wol Euler: well, sophia, it's a way to delve into my own interests and curiosities.
Alfred Kelberry: it's always fun to sit in a cafe and watch people, couples. come and talk to them sometimes.
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Wol Euler: I experience embodiment in SL very strongly, and I noticed that the feeling is different in my various av-forms
Qt Core: and in a world of people with multipe avs picking up the l;ittle detail that make you get who who/what is is nice
    Wol Euler: mmhmm
Eliza Madrigal: It seems a wonderful workshop topic. The shape-shifting aspect of SL can be very powerful
Alfred Kelberry: i should come here with my mila av :)
Qt Core: like speaking patterns and style
Wol Euler: until I made my first alt, I had no idea what to expect. I didn't realize that they would be a different person, not just a new shape
Wol Euler: yes, alf, I'd like to get people with alts (who don't mind admitting them in public) to wear them all to the workshop
Alfred Kelberry: qt, i find it largely the same with me
sophia Placebo: i only have one ava, but shape shifting one
Wol Euler: yes, you change more often and more widely than anyone else here.
Alfred Kelberry: it's more like a different appearance of my one self
Qt Core: in italian chartooms i'm the one always opening my session with "'sera" ([good] evening)
Eliza Madrigal has 4, but some rarely see the pixels of day :)
    Alfred Kelberry: 4! wow :)
Wol Euler: I'm up to four, but only two get used regularly.
Alfred Kelberry gives eliza a winning cookie
Eliza Madrigal: hahah. Wol and I will share it
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: we'd both lose if Diogenes were here. He has eight.
Wol Euler: and he claims to use them all regularly.
Wol Euler: they're all different people to him, different personalities
Eliza Madrigal: I'm mostly on as Eliza... but I have another I use that has few friends/few IMs ... so can do busywork and attend things more easily
sophia Placebo: alfred , should be same as you , i mean it is you after all no
Alfred Kelberry: omg, how you can handle *that* much? :)
Qt Core: too lazy to have alts ... and even to change outfit often
Alfred Kelberry: sophia, right. i was reffering to qt's comment about various behaviours when different avs.
Eliza Madrigal: :) I've been meaning to sign on as the wolf more...
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: I read a session where you came here as the wolf :)
Alfred Kelberry: don't tell me you're gilles, eliza :)
sophia Placebo: maybe diffrent tasks , but gonna be your behavour in that task i guess
Eliza Madrigal: just so people don't get tired of reading "Eliza Madrigal" on logs
Eliza Madrigal: hahah...No I promise I am not Gilles :)
    Alfred Kelberry: ohh.. ok :)
Eliza Madrigal: Might be fun for a day though
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Wol Euler: well, sophia, they can be very different. I was astonished how different my first alt is from me.
Qt Core: on a level i think i don't want multiple avs (or even a too elaborate one) as i want people to want me, not my look)
Alfred Kelberry: i actually like the name "eliza"
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Alfred, me too :)
sophia Placebo: cant partition me , think of me as muli dimentional being rather muli beings in one
Eliza Madrigal: Once someone asked me why Eliza is pretty.... I said I want to know that pretty girls can be taken seriously :)
    sophia Placebo: multi*
    Wol Euler: :)
Wol Euler: that too can be a workshop topic!
Qt Core: even if blonde ;-)
Eliza Madrigal nods, yes I understand that Sophia
Eliza Madrigal: yes! Even a blonde...giggle
Wol Euler: perhaps if you chose a dimension and let it express itself freely, a being might emerge?
Alfred Kelberry: i'd suggest to add a nice mini-skirt to your wardrobe too, eliza :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahahaah!
    Wol Euler: :-PPPPP
Qt Core: for the i'm me and not my av this is my favorite
Alfred Kelberry: to complete the picture :)
    --BELL--
    Wol Euler chuckles
    Eliza Madrigal: Qt that's brilliant
Eliza Madrigal: Aside from name tag, one could blend in anywhere like taht
    Eliza Madrigal: *that
    Alfred Kelberry: spooky :)
sophia Placebo: what do you mean Wol ?
    Eliza Madrigal: (oops sorry)
    sophia Placebo: hehe alfred
Qt Core: (i like to wander in sandbox looking like this ;-) )
Wol Euler: I was replying to Sophia, saying she had mutiple dimensions rather than multi-beings
Eliza Madrigal: hehehe Qt, yes I like that idea
Wol Euler: there are furniture avatars too :) chairs that other people can sit in and the like.
Alfred Kelberry: i wonder, could you marry someone like that? :)
Qt Core: maybe with a sphere...
Alfred Kelberry: you can imagine him to be anything really
sophia Placebo: wol what do you mean , a being emerge?
Qt Core: i'll give her a ring and call her saturn
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Wol Euler: sophia, perhaps the distinction between dimension and being is finer and more flexible than you think? :)
Alfred Kelberry: oh, wol! you reminded me of a lovely short movie fomr japan where a girl turned into a chair
    Alfred Kelberry: neat concept
    Wol Euler: heh
Wol Euler: it surprised the hell out of me, when I found that my alt wasn't "me", had his own ideas and wishes and style
sophia Placebo: dimention is just a catogorizing word , a descriptive word to help us to understand , one being that is not a dot nor line , but multidimentional
Eliza Madrigal: yes this is something I've noticed in various ways also... but more than switching avs in SL causes me to be more aware of seeing from various perspectives in RL...even animals, etc
    Wol Euler nods
sophia Placebo: sorry for spelling today
    Eliza Madrigal: than=that
Alfred Kelberry: isn't our being confined into a pre-defined dimension innately?
Qt Core: do you really stare at animals awaiting for chatting bubble appearing above them, eliza ? ;-)
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eliza Madrigal laughs loudly
    sophia Placebo: lol
Wol Euler: "dimension" in the physics sense, yes; as a way to talkk about character(s), no. IMHO
Eliza Madrigal: I've dreamt from the perspectives of squirrels, crabs, little boys...
    Wol Euler nods.
Wol Euler: have you dreamt as the wolf?
Eliza Madrigal: I would imagine it is much the same as authors feel when they are submerged in writing fictional books
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, no, surprisingly Wol :)
Qt Core: this discussion about dimensions of beings is reminding me the classic tales of the elephant
Wol Euler: ah :) wait for it!
sophia Placebo: so far qt i just try to move the camera in web browsing , clicking alt and trying to zoom in
Eliza Madrigal: :) I'd love that
Alfred Kelberry: wol, i really like this workshop idea. can't wait to see eliza the squirrel :)
    Wol Euler: coming in January!
    Alfred Kelberry: yay!
Eliza Madrigal: hahah.... that was just a dream. In the dream I was a squirrel looking down on a rat but realized we were both scavengers
Eliza Madrigal: even though I had a bushy tail
    Wol Euler: heheheheh
sophia Placebo: what elephat Qt ?
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    sophia Placebo: elephant
Wol Euler: yes, qt, that's exactly what I was trynig to say to Sophia about dimensions and beings.
    Wol Euler: a great examle
    Wol Euler: *example
Qt Core: the one about some blind people touching an elephant, everyone coming out with something different from the body part they got to touch but no one with the whole answer
Wol Euler: one touched a leg and said "the elephant is tall and strong and sturdy like a tree"
Qt Core: the one touching is nose (can't remember hot to call it in english) sais it was a snake, for example
    Wol Euler: trunk
Wol Euler: or the ears, like the leaves of huge plants
sophia Placebo: yes thats what im trying to say but we seem like those blind and the subject is our elephant
Wol Euler: well, turn that backwards, as Pema woould say.
Alfred Kelberry: that's why we'll never understand what was before the big bang, qt :)
Wol Euler: perhaps the "sophia" that you express every day is just the trunk?
Qt Core: why i'm thinking about the M string theory ?
Wol Euler: perhaps there are other sophias that might be expressed in the belly, or tail or legs?
Alfred Kelberry: heh, wol.. another reminder :)
sophia Placebo: safty wol , one cant put all eggs in one basket no ?
    Wol Euler: hehehe
Eliza Madrigal: :) But one can BE a basket
    Eliza Madrigal: Or an egg
    Wol Euler: or both.
Eliza Madrigal: And the one holding it
Wol Euler: like the discussion of the inner child. The previuos "you" doesn't go far away, it is still in there.
Qt Core: i think i express a different dimension than the usual one when i write in english
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, yes that is fascinating Qt....
    sophia Placebo: me too Qt
    Alfred Kelberry: how so, qt?
Qt Core: as strange as it seem im more free and open in english
    Wol Euler: hmmmm!
    Eliza Madrigal: how neat
    Alfred Kelberry: interesting
    Wol Euler: very interesting.
Alfred Kelberry: what's your native language?
Wol Euler: Alf? english is your second language too. Do you find that?
    --BELL--
Qt Core: i think that the mental energy i use to check what i think and say in italian are used to fuel the "translation engine"
Alfred Kelberry: never thought of that really
Alfred Kelberry: it's just another appearance for me, i'd say. not a dimension.
Eliza Madrigal: Well it lines up with current research that various languages activate various brain centers? Or is that outdated news?
    Wol Euler: cool.
Qt Core: sadly the better i become Thanks to international chatting and reading fanfiction ;-) the more controlled i'm becoming
    Wol Euler chuckles
Alfred Kelberry: sorry, a phone call
Wol Euler: sophia, how does this different dimension of English feel to you?
    sophia Placebo: hmm
    sophia Placebo: im more talkative
sophia Placebo: more simpler words , and hmm open maybe in some way closed in another ,
sophia Placebo: and im more something but not gonna tell
    Wol Euler: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: It seems counterintuitive
Eliza Madrigal: hehe, like your honesty Sophia
sophia Placebo: honesty keeps you on safe grounds
Qt Core: for the talkative bit i tend to be less talkative than in rl, regardless of the language (i don't want to kill someone boring them to death)
Wol Euler: hmmmm, that is interesting.
    sophia Placebo: hehe Qt
Wol Euler: is that because of English, perhaps? are you also less talkative here in Italian settings?
    Qt Core: even in italian
Qt Core: some friends called me Mandos from the Lord of the Ring (or better Silmarillon) for my usual chat style)
    sophia Placebo: the dwarf ?
Qt Core: no, the god ;-)
    Wol Euler struggles to remember.
    sophia Placebo: googling
Qt Core: he is the god of afterlife, he talks rarely but then his tongue is really mighter than a sword ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you all this morning :) Have to go for now
Qt Core: bye Eliza, ave fun
Wol Euler: bye eliza, enjoy the weekend
    sophia Placebo: bye Eliza ,
Eliza Madrigal: Thanks! Fun conversation everyone!
Alfred Kelberry: aw.. bye eliza :/
Alfred Kelberry: let me read the log
Alfred Kelberry: a really interesting observation about the languages
Alfred Kelberry: i'll have to think about it
Wol Euler: I really pity most English-speakers, who never have the need or the chance to learn another language
Wol Euler: because I think learning another language teaches you a lot about the way thinking works.
sophia Placebo: true wol i was amazed that they dont study any forien language at school
Alfred Kelberry: the reason you feel more open in english is probably due to openness to a wider culture than if you only spoke italian.
Qt Core: yeah, they really don't even have a real ancient language (like latin for italian) so they aren't even interested in seeing how languace change, a fashinating topic
Alfred Kelberry: wol, yes, very much so
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: sophia, they do - mostly french and german, but there's really no incentive to go on for them
sophia Placebo: i need to be off , this has been a lot of fun , Thanks wol for great topic , LFRED DO VISIT US AGAIN , Qt great observation about language , bye all
Wol Euler: bye sophia, enjoy the day.
Wol Euler: it was a great conversation, thank you!
Qt Core: bye sofia have a nice day
    Qt Core: sophia
Alfred Kelberry: thank you, sohpia. i will. have a good weekend! :)
Alfred Kelberry: you leave too wol?
    Wol Euler: not yet.
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Wol Euler: my alts and I will be on all day!
Wol Euler: unless I have a nap, which I just might
Alfred Kelberry: you have a few on at the same time?
Wol Euler: no, I very seldom do that.
Alfred Kelberry: hey, you could talk to yourself this way :)
Qt Core: that is when multiple monitor setup are useful ;-)
Wol Euler: It spoils the experience of "embodiment", the immersion in this illusion, to see two me's at once.
Alfred Kelberry: and multiple input devices :)
Wol Euler: I bring my number three alt on sometimes when I need a second av for testing couples dances etc
Wol Euler: bring on as well as me
Alfred Kelberry: em.. yea, i guess
Qt Core: it would be interesting to see someone with MP disease opinion on that
    Alfred Kelberry: mp?
    Qt Core: multiple personality
    Alfred Kelberry: ah
Qt Core: it was a bad joke, i think
Alfred Kelberry: there's a health island in sl. i've seen many groups there. mp could be one of those.
Alfred Kelberry: actually, no. it might be a good social psychology experiment.
    Wol Euler nods
Qt Core: yes, if taken seriously, but it come out as a joke and even if i'm against political correctness it was quite bad
    Alfred Kelberry: it's alright :)
Alfred Kelberry: would it sound even worse in italian? :)
    Qt Core: no
Alfred Kelberry: btw, there's an italian astronomer giving a talk today, qt
Qt Core: even if i'm surprised on how clean english is (or it is only that in chat they don't curse and use bad words) ?
    Wol Euler: ha!
Wol Euler: english can be quite thoroughly filthy too.
Wol Euler: though in a differnt way to German, for example.
Wol Euler: english obscenity and vulgarity tends to be about the body
Wol Euler: German is more about religion or social relations
Qt Core: i went to a italian sim after several month of only english and i was almost shocked... but felt at home after a couple minutes ;-)
Wol Euler: hang around the newbie welcome areas if you want to hear a more typical English being spoken. This place has a very special atmosphere
Qt Core: younger, let say under 50 people here in italy regularly use bad words in speach, that is the thing i notice missing in "standard chat english"
Qt Core: i expect this here, but it is this way almost everywhere
Alfred Kelberry: qt, is ther also geographical differences in the rate of bad words usage (e.g north/south)?
Wol Euler: ooh, what an intresting question.
Qt Core: not very much, just different choice of words as for different dialect (even if the northern dialects are disappearing much more faster than the southern)
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: yes, another sign of a more developed north than south
Wol Euler: it's interesting that this north/south tension exists in almost all countries.
Wol Euler: the north thinks of itself as honest and hardworking
    Alfred Kelberry: yes, wol
Wol Euler: the south thinks of itself as emotionally open and genuine
Wol Euler: amusingly, it's reversed below the equator :)
Alfred Kelberry: it's a.. "nice" way to put it :)
Qt Core: nowadays even in the north the most diffuse dialects are the southern ones, due to immigratinm, it is funny to notice that one of the biggest groups of people speaking the milanese dialects is the chinese immigrated in italy between the two world war
    Wol Euler: ha!
Qt Core: that is as thei installed themselves in a popular district of milan when they come here
Wol Euler remembers and smiles. I learned to speak Italian in Milan, spending a week there. When I got to Rome and got into a taxi, the driver asked me to repeat the directions I'd given him, then grinned and said that I had a Milanese accent. I was so proud :)
    Qt Core: ;-)
Alfred Kelberry: wait, it only took you a week?
Wol Euler: well, for certain values of "learned"
    Alfred Kelberry: cool :)
Wol Euler: yeah, I pick up languages very easily
Alfred Kelberry: i've always known you're special :)
    Wol Euler: awww :)
Qt Core: after all, if you don't mind out verb coniugation, lack of neuter gender and crazy gender change from singular to plural it is not an hard language ;-)
    Wol Euler grins and nods
Wol Euler: it is a very easy language to speak at a basic level.
Wol Euler: I think it's probably the easiest European language to begin speaking
Alfred Kelberry: they sure simplified it a lot then since roman times :)
Qt Core: i had to study some latin, and yes, that is a nightmare
Qt Core: if when you master it you love it but since then you''l hate it (mee too)
Alfred Kelberry: i still plan to learn french and german and one little language.. probably dutch or swedish (i could kill norwegian too this way :)
Alfred Kelberry: wol, you could start a german class here at pab :)
    Wol Euler: heh
    Alfred Kelberry: guten tag
Wol Euler: actually, I would be very bad at that. I can't translate.
Alfred Kelberry: oh yes, i know how it feels :)
Wol Euler: I can speak german *or* english fluently, but if you asked me to repeat this sentence in German I couldn't do it.
Qt Core: which direction you can't do ?
    Wol Euler: neither.
Wol Euler: there is no direct connection between the bits that process German and those that process english
Qt Core: i alwais found very easy the foreign language italian
    Qt Core: foreign being english,french,latin
Alfred Kelberry: what german accent do you speak, wol? :)
Wol Euler: swabian, from thte southwest
Wol Euler: very soft, full of "sh" sounds
    Alfred Kelberry: aww..
    Alfred Kelberry: sexy :)
Wol Euler: we say "g" sounds where the berliners would say "k" sounds
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: i like to learn such peculiar details :)
    Wol Euler smiles
Wol Euler: it's interesting to compare swabian to bavarian (neighbours, to the southeast)
Wol Euler: both dialects shorten words by leaving out letters, but bavarian feels faster and sharper-edged
Wol Euler: because we leave out consonants and they leave out vowels
Wol Euler: we say habe' and they say hab'n
    Alfred Kelberry: heh, interesting
Alfred Kelberry: but you can easily communicate?
Wol Euler: oh yes, no great difficulty.
Wol Euler: context explains a lot.
Qt Core: sometime i have discussion with a colleague that live less than 30km from where i live, we both know our local dialects and in just 30 kn there are wide pronunciation difference
Alfred Kelberry: unless you're in bern, i guess :)
    Wol Euler nods to qt.
Qt Core: well, there are even difference between the two cores my municipality is made of!
    Wol Euler: :)
Alfred Kelberry: i'd think by 2009 such subtle differences would be blended out
Qt Core: the main differences withn my colleagues are his use of u where we would use o or ou and more r here and there
Alfred Kelberry: especially in a highly developed regions
Qt Core: there are many, even technological movements to rescue ancient things, from foods to culture to traditions
Wol Euler: I hope they succeed, I would find it a great impoverishment if languages and dialects were to disappear
Qt Core: all born following the now international acclaimed slow food
Alfred Kelberry: but then, at the same time, the eu framework gives small communities a way to stand out and promote their culture
Wol Euler: or even potatoes and apples, there is a movement to revive different species of them.
Qt Core: exactly, one of the most traditional action of slow food is trying to protect and even made economically profitable ancient coltures and such

    Wol Euler: !
Wol Euler: tht would prove that it's you.
Alfred Kelberry: for a cube like you, one type of vegetable would be enough :)
Wol Euler: like Alf would have a cube wearing a scarf
    Alfred Kelberry: true :)
Wol Euler: and I would have a cube textured in black lace
    Alfred Kelberry: haha
Qt Core: (going back to the idea of the little hints that would make people recognizable despite the outfit)
    Wol Euler: right! right!!
Wol Euler: oooh this is good.
