    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Sami
    Sami Raymaker: Namaste Sophia
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: have you been here before?
Sami Raymaker: this is my very first time in here
Sami Raymaker: feels like the same spots i astral travel to though :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: great :) Did you take a notecard from the post?
SophiaSharon Larnia: i think i undestand what you mean by that, in a way Sami
Sami Raymaker: near tara's ? yes
SophiaSharon Larnia: the play as being notecard
Sami Raymaker: where is it placed ? :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: I can give you one
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Eliza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi! :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: we record our session, and its posted on the play as being wiki http://playasbeing.wik.is/
SophiaSharon Larnia: how are you Eliza?
Eliza Madrigal is just getting back from walking with mall with teenage daughters
    Eliza Madrigal: >whew<
    SophiaSharon Larnia: fun ;p
    Sami Raymaker: Hello Eliza
SophiaSharon Larnia: and youre back this early
Eliza Madrigal: Hi Sami, nice to meet you
SophiaSharon Larnia: is it ok to include your name and conversation on the wiki Sami?
SophiaSharon Larnia: if not i can edit it out
Sami Raymaker: sounds good what i read in the nc
Eliza Madrigal: Sophia, yes... I'm pretty efficient about mall shopping...can't quite enjoy the whole day in such settings. We even sat for lunch!
    Sami Raymaker: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: me too, im a goal oriented shopper
Eliza Madrigal: yes, that's certainly me as well. Objective: shoes
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Lealou
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Lealou
    Sami Raymaker: Hi Lealou
SophiaSharon Larnia: sounds like a mission, with 3 in tow
Eliza Madrigal: Well, just the girls and I today... not too bad :)
Eliza Madrigal: It is nice to come home to PaB though, and sit by the fountain
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: How are you?
SophiaSharon Larnia: ive been awake for a very long time, so I'm afraid I'm not chatty today
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Bertram
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, work late last night?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Bert :)
Bertram Jacobus: hi everybody ... :-)
SophiaSharon Larnia: no, was off, but I'm all turned around
    Sami Raymaker: Hi Betram
    Eliza Madrigal: Ooh
    SophiaSharon Larnia: it happens
Eliza Madrigal: yes, sometimes it is a good thing... feel disoriented while changing or integrating changes
SophiaSharon Larnia: have anything you're thinking about?
SophiaSharon Larnia: i often stay awake for long periods of time ;p
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hm... am thinking about PaB a bit, speaking of integrating changes :)
Sami Raymaker: is it common that people bring bad occuring of daily events and talk about it here ?
Sami Raymaker: then find a way to turn it into a play experience maybe ?
Eliza Madrigal: Well Sami sometimes we talk about difficulties. Mostly though, we try to drop the troubles and what we 'have' ...
SophiaSharon Larnia: we talk about the nature of reality and other topics, yes, often, we also share our experience of the 9 sec stops
SophiaSharon Larnia: whats on your mind?
Eliza Madrigal: when we can of course. :) The 9 seconds (or here 90 sec) are a good time to try...

    --BELL--

    Sami Raymaker: aha
Sami Raymaker: well, thinking how some people are dealing with us in a way to make us more patience or something like test our abilities not to react badly
    SophiaSharon Larnia: some people?
    Eliza Madrigal nods. Good topic
Sami Raymaker: yeah like rl friends / family etc
SophiaSharon Larnia: like they are in your life to assist you with these lessons?
Sami Raymaker: testing your temper on behavior or things said or done
Sami Raymaker: even if meditation is a daily practice .. its like being pushed out of them meditative state some how ..
SophiaSharon Larnia: i used to think of things as 'lessons' and testing' but I think that is more complex than that
SophiaSharon Larnia: a play as being practice here is to appreciate the presence of appearance of being
Eliza Madrigal: Yes its funny. I still think in terms of lessons, but not quite like there is a systematic 'place' one is getting to by listening
Eliza Madrigal: but like there is something in everything to see
SophiaSharon Larnia: and the frustrations are a part of being also
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes indeed!
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, i said that wrong, but maybe you know what i meant
    Sami Raymaker: yeah
Eliza Madrigal: 'Being' challenges and stretches us
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Agatha
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Agatha
    SophiaSharon Larnia: Hi Yakuzza
    Eliza Madrigal: Hey Ya :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Bertram Jacobus: hy yaku ! ... :-)
    Sami Raymaker: hello Yakuzza
SophiaSharon Larnia: if you dont mind Sami, we often paste text in chat to catch others up
SophiaSharon Larnia: [13:16] Sami Raymaker: well, thinking how some people are dealing with us in a way to make us more patience or something like test our abilities not to react badly
Eliza Madrigal: So if we can appreciate all that appears as a presentation of Being, then we find ourselves less closed off maybe..able to really feel and live
Sami Raymaker: hmm nicely put together ! Eliza
Eliza Madrigal: thanks :)I know this has been really helpful for me...
Eliza Madrigal: and the company of friends... sharing our observations
SophiaSharon Larnia: im trying to appreciate... :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Appreciate not sleeping?
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
    SophiaSharon Larnia: ha!
SophiaSharon Larnia: yea im kind of floaty
    Sami Raymaker smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Bert you are quiet today
    Bertram Jacobus: yes ...
Bertram Jacobus: nice that you notice it eliza ... :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Bertram Jacobus: i write a bit im with a friend besides ...
    Bertram Jacobus: sry please ...
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, yes not at all :)
    Eliza Madrigal: And you, Ya?

    --BELL--

Bertram Jacobus: yaku mostly always is at many places netwise ... ;-)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: lol
    Eliza Madrigal: Yes :) Multitasking
    Bertram Jacobus: not really ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Oooh which makes me think of a question "Can we multitask "mindfully"??
SophiaSharon Larnia: my answer is no
Bertram Jacobus: my answer is "relatively may be" ;-)
SophiaSharon Larnia: lol i can plan and organize many things at one time but only do one thing at a time
    SophiaSharon Larnia: grins at relatively
    Bertram Jacobus: :-))
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Eliza Madrigal: Well... I think yes.... from that state of 'flow'....
    Eliza Madrigal: but otherwise no
    Sami Raymaker smiles
SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles... loves the flow, but my body can only be in one place
Yakuzza Lethecus: no, i would never be at many places at once *crossing fingers behind my back*
    Eliza Madrigal: : )
    Eliza Madrigal: hhehehe
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hehe
    Sami Raymaker: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: so the mindfulness of it, is in 30 different places
Eliza Madrigal giggles.... can we be mindful in multiple dimensions....
SophiaSharon Larnia: oooo now thats a thought
    Sami Raymaker: hmmm
Sami Raymaker: thats just vibrant !
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes what happens if the dimensions meet
    Eliza Madrigal: MMmm
SophiaSharon Larnia: oops there goes the 30 mindstreams again
Eliza Madrigal: I know we can't manufacture that state... but more and more I think we can create a setting for it...
    Eliza Madrigal: /ma laughs
    Eliza Madrigal laughs!
Sami Raymaker: i think they are connected . its a matter of a different frequncy for each dimension
    SophiaSharon Larnia: prepare the ground
    SophiaSharon Larnia: yes
    Eliza Madrigal: Go on Sami?
Sami Raymaker: well, for example .. the astral dimension
Sami Raymaker: alot thought that its outside the planet
SophiaSharon Larnia: so entering that is a matter of frequency?
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, I see what you are saying... looking for things 'out there'
Sami Raymaker: yeah its a matter of shifting or TUNING our frequncies to meet the standards of the other one .. and most of dimensions are happening at the same time and same place
SophiaSharon Larnia: a part of me thinks im embodied to live in a set of frequencies
SophiaSharon Larnia: pre scripted that way if youll excuse me putting it that way
    Eliza Madrigal: hmm
Sami Raymaker: hmmm yeah maybe ..
Eliza Madrigal: really neat ideas... definitely along the lines of what I was thinking... that we resist a kind of inate ability to do/see many things 'at once' maybe
SophiaSharon Larnia: most of that is conditioning i think
Sami Raymaker: in a way .. yes
Eliza Madrigal: we've got a picture in our heads maybe, of what it looks like to be mindful, or to meditate... and yet things like stopping for 9 seconds amidst busy days can show us something
Sami Raymaker: we were mostly conditioned to be functioning on physical levels .. right ?
Eliza Madrigal: yes and to think our minds are limited to our heads
SophiaSharon Larnia: we're conditioned with thought constructs that are indroduced to us as children
    SophiaSharon Larnia: introduced*
Sami Raymaker: aha .. but when we do work on our opening up .. we shall feel our senses are tapping into other dimensions as well
Eliza Madrigal nods... yes I'd agree there
SophiaSharon Larnia: or what is here, but we are cut off from it
Eliza Madrigal nods... not seeing the obvious
Bertram Jacobus: there are physical "needs" : to eat, to drink, to sleep, not to have it too cold, no pain if possible ...

    --BELL--

Yakuzza Lethecus: right, my body took back his time when i slept 13 hrs last night
Eliza Madrigal: funny that I can say to myself that multitasking can be mindful, but at the same time I don't know that it is possible from the get go.... for instance I'd not feel great about my daughter studying while texting and listening to the radio...hm
SophiaSharon Larnia: its a fact of life
Eliza Madrigal: 13 hours? wow that must have been great Ya
    Sami Raymaker: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: oops that was a definative statemtn my bad
Yakuzza Lethecus: i didn´t even intend to do that, i wanted a nap at 7 pm and woke up at 1 am
SophiaSharon Larnia: you must've needed it :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: then i slept again and it was 8 am in the morning
    Sami Raymaker: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i haven´t had more then 5 hrs sleep during the entire week
Yakuzza Lethecus: and only 4 after the wok session
Eliza Madrigal: Oh Goodness, yes definitely a good thing to catch up
Bertram Jacobus: i often think, my conditions are caused from the body ...
    Sami Raymaker: limiting conditions ?
SophiaSharon Larnia: how the mind interpretes those conditions
Bertram Jacobus: i think conditions are always limiting, no ?
Sami Raymaker: the pysical body ?
Eliza Madrigal: This week I noticed a kind of theme in teachings I attended... that of limitations being a way to freedom.... learning to be expansive within structure, etc
SophiaSharon Larnia: a condition is the particular state that something or someone is in
Bertram Jacobus: the physical body sami ?
Sami Raymaker: well, do which body do you think cause the conditions ?
Sami Raymaker: we are not only the physical .. right :) ?
Bertram Jacobus: yes. it is the physical body which i meant
    Sami Raymaker: hmmm
Bertram Jacobus: but it´s an interesting basis. for example to start exploring the being
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Sami Raymaker: Eliza please elaborate on that theme
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Eliza Madrigal: Hm, well I think it is summed up in a quote I ran across...
Eliza Madrigal: "The foolish are trapped by karma, while the wise are liberated by karma"....Stonepeace
Eliza Madrigal: I may have paraphrased...
Eliza Madrigal: but the idea being that our limitations and conditions can actually be ways of opening
Bertram Jacobus: i like this qoute :-)
Eliza Madrigal: just like the difficulties in our lives... those finding the presence of Being in those appearances maybe :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: me too, like taking oppotunity of the situations that present themselves
Sami Raymaker: well, i feel that many people are concerned with cause and effects .. as they are the only things out there .. not leaving room for possibilties :)
Eliza Madrigal: (cross out the word 'those') hehe
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :)
Eliza Madrigal: yes... it is not the way we normally see things though... it sounds sometimes like someone is ignoring a difficulty...
Eliza Madrigal: "Oh, that's there to teach you something" etc
Eliza Madrigal: not really facing it...
Eliza Madrigal: but seems to be quite the opposite actually?
    Sami Raymaker nods
    SophiaSharon Larnia: especially re-occuring things
    Eliza Madrigal: Ohh yes
Eliza Madrigal: I'm hopeful that this will help me become more appreciative of how I structure my time, in particular. I can be quite rebellious against structure 'from outside'
    Eliza Madrigal: We'll see :)
SophiaSharon Larnia nods and points to self
Sami Raymaker: so is the body causing the conditions ? i feel no its not .. its storing the effect not the cause
    Eliza Madrigal: heheh

    --BELL--

    SophiaSharon Larnia: its surely stored
Bertram Jacobus: my impression is : both : the body contains actions AND reactions
Sami Raymaker: everybody .. its was a divine pleasure meeting you here
    SophiaSharon Larnia: you too Sami
Eliza Madrigal: the body can be very wise... like tricking yakuzza into catching up sleep
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hehe
Bertram Jacobus: ty sami for being here too
SophiaSharon Larnia: it was fun playing with you all, but i need a nap :))
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you Sami :)
Sami Raymaker: ty you all for BEING :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: good night everyone :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Night SophiaSharon :)
    SophiaSharon Larnia: smiles and waves
Bertram Jacobus: then have a nice nap sophia (!) :-)
    Eliza Madrigal: Night yakuzza :)
Eliza Madrigal: hehe.... night Jim Bob, Night Mary Sue....
Eliza Madrigal: (there was a TV show called the Waltons in the 70s)
Bertram Jacobus: lol eliza - where is that from ? ... :-)
Eliza Madrigal: hehe answered before you asked again Bert
Bertram Jacobus: ah. answer before question. nice :-)
Bertram Jacobus: i give you five - okay : |||||
    Eliza Madrigal: ahhaha
    Bertram Jacobus: lol ;o)
Eliza Madrigal: You were travelling for a while right?
Bertram Jacobus: only a few days but very nice : austrai, mountains, nice whether, nice people ... :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: austria*
Eliza Madrigal: How lovely... sounds nice and cool
Bertram Jacobus: that was really great ! a very nice refreshing experience between the everyday routines ...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Eliza Madrigal: important to get away sometimes... just into a new setting...
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes it feels like the very air is different
Bertram Jacobus: yes. that also why i look forward to january and malta ...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh good that you're going!
    Bertram Jacobus: that´s*
Bertram Jacobus: yes. i simply decided :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: to do it
Bertram Jacobus: whether reasonable or not ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: The setting looks like heaven... am very happy for you
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Eliza Madrigal: yes important to do that too sometimes... just step out :)
    Bertram Jacobus: "we´ll see" ... :-)
    Bertram Jacobus: yes
Eliza Madrigal: I'd like to attend the get together in Princeton in November but am not quite sure yet
Eliza Madrigal: So many things going on at this time of year
    Bertram Jacobus: same here
Eliza Madrigal: Will you be able to attend the guardian meeting tomorrow ?
Bertram Jacobus: oh. i never did such a meeting before. when will it be and where ?
Eliza Madrigal: I think these are a good idea, and a good idea for everyone to share their thoughts about PaB...
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, this will be at the Village Hall which Storm built....
Eliza Madrigal: in the retreat area toward the back.... gorgeous!
Eliza Madrigal: after the morning session
Bertram Jacobus: ah. okay : where the places are we may live on ? ... and when ?
Eliza Madrigal: yes... let me see Pema's email...
Bertram Jacobus: oh. morning. 1 am or 7 am sl time ?
    Eliza Madrigal: 8AM SLT
Eliza Madrigal: The idea is for guardians to have a place/time to discuss the workings of pab and the vision and ideas...
Bertram Jacobus: should be possible . is californian time, right ?
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes we don't talk about these things at regular sessions
    Eliza Madrigal: yup
Bertram Jacobus: yes, i see ...

    --BELL--

    Eliza Madrigal: after the meeting....
Eliza Madrigal: THEN, I'm off to take my daughter to make the world record for largest guacamole.... hahahah... will be quite a day
Bertram Jacobus: hmmmm guacamole ... niicceeee :-)
Eliza Madrigal: :) Yes well lets hope it will taste good... with such a large amount and so many making it
    Eliza Madrigal: heheheh
Eliza Madrigal: If not, there is a wine tasting after so... should be fine :)
Bertram Jacobus: sounds great ! :-)
Bertram Jacobus: and you feel people eliza ?
    Eliza Madrigal: Hm?
    Bertram Jacobus: empathy ...
    Eliza Madrigal: Ah, sure sometimes....
Eliza Madrigal: I'm a mom...half my life is spent mind reading
    Eliza Madrigal giggles
Bertram Jacobus: more often or more seldom ? ;-)
Eliza Madrigal: Actually I think I often project...
Eliza Madrigal: while thinking I am being empathetic... something I'm trying to notice
Bertram Jacobus: ah . hm -
Bertram Jacobus: but today for example, you noticed that i did not write so much in the beginning ...
Bertram Jacobus: and it was also because i had thought before to try to listen a bit more
Bertram Jacobus: and because i felt a bit exhausted ...
Eliza Madrigal: Ah, maybe because I was talking so much... but also yes, people have normal rhythms and sometimes I notice when there is an irregular heartbeat, so to speak
Eliza Madrigal: Ahhh, yes sleepy seems a theme today :)
Bertram Jacobus: so it may be both : you have a good feeling for things around you and sometimes you project may be ... (?) ;-)
    Bertram Jacobus: things and persons
    Bertram Jacobus: beings :-)
Eliza Madrigal: yes.. right... rarely one thing going on right?
Eliza Madrigal: operating in those multiple dimensions...
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
    Eliza Madrigal: layers of Being?
Bertram Jacobus: then, it would be interesting, to differ both (perceptions and projections) ...
    Eliza Madrigal nods
Eliza Madrigal: yes definitely.... think sometimes things don't line up but that doesn't mean they aren't accurate in their way
Eliza Madrigal: I should get moving... came in from the mall and jumped on the computer...
Bertram Jacobus: yes. same here : like to move ... :-)
Eliza Madrigal: :) yes, and more than in a line of people from store to store....
    Eliza Madrigal: the herd....heheh
Bertram Jacobus: enjoyed it. ty eliza :-)
Eliza Madrigal: Enjoyed talking to you as always Bert! Bye for now
Bertram Jacobus: have a good time till next time please :-)

(This was Sami Raymaker's first session with PaB, and he gave permission in IM to post his conversation in this log, although it is not stated specifically during the session)
