Archmage Atlantis: Quite mixed thank you, and you?
stevenaia Michinaga: most interesting, life seems to be heading downhill, I am just watching at the moment

stevenaia Michinaga: yes, expecting duress, but unaffected for now
Archmage Atlantis: May I ask how you see it going downhill?
stevenaia Michinaga: family job loss after a few decades of employment
stevenaia Michinaga: a ig hole to fill

Archmage Atlantis: Ah yes, more than big.......an eternity of change
stevenaia Michinaga: but I view all change as purposeful and for the better... in the end
Archmage Atlantis: We are all dead in the end.....we have to find meaning in the change and the suffering

stevenaia Michinaga: seems that getting there can be positive or negative, that is a personal choice
stevenaia Michinaga: getting to death
Archmage Atlantis: Choice is a word that often troubles me
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I take it in the simplistic way
Archmage Atlantis: Sometimes the feelings are overwhelming
Archmage Atlantis: The part that chooses consciously is almost smothered
stevenaia Michinaga: they can be, but they can also be feeling of overwhelming happiness
stevenaia Michinaga: it;s a matter of how you view things
stevenaia Michinaga: how I view things
Archmage Atlantis: To respond to that, I have to share that there is more than one me
Archmage Atlantis: Does that make sense to you?
stevenaia Michinaga: if you chose to have that, yes
Archmage Atlantis: I don't recall choosing it, I was never aware of it until I worked with a disassociated person
Archmage Atlantis: He did choose that tho

Archmage Atlantis: I came to realize that my personalities work in concert, his worked in opposition

Archmage Atlantis: How are a group of people complementary and not one, they choose to work for the common good of the group

stevenaia Michinaga: when you meditate, something singular, who meditates, the group or the one?
Archmage Atlantis: Each decides a role, not always the same as before
stevenaia Michinaga: it may be a stupid question since this is new to me
Archmage Atlantis: There is no question that is stupid
Archmage Atlantis: To not ask questions, that is more uninformed

Archmage Atlantis: Yes, that would be a shorthand way of saying it

Archmage Atlantis: True, they may only be aspects of my central self........just the experience with one who split totally gave me a new thought pattern to use

Archmage Atlantis: If A was present, B was not

stevenaia Michinaga: or does it simply emerge

Archmage Atlantis: That I cannot answer as I have not experienced it........I only know that there were some triggers that made one or the other of the 4 gain control
Archmage Atlantis: Not reliably, btw, and I did not consciously manipulate the triggers
stevenaia Michinaga: was thinking it could be interesting YS BS, if separate aspects of you take that apart, you seeing Being, and playing with Being seeing you

Archmage Atlantis: Yes, 2 of the aspects saw all, the primary saw only 2, and one was a cast as a "demon"

stevenaia Michinaga: We are discussing the aspects of Arch's multiple personalities and hw they are applied

stevenaia Michinaga: sounds silly when you feel singular and have those decisive conversations with yourself as I make decisions and there is only one personality (one hand clapping) but you can let other parts emerge to react to the worlds

Benedizione Vita: I am thinking about this... it all touches on the very subtle question of "what is the self?"
Archmage Atlantis: Words are imperfect things......they never can carry the full meanings
