The Guardian for this meeting was SophiaSharon Larnia. The comments are by SophiaSharon Larnia. This session was attended by Stevenaia, Lucinda and myself. I sat alone in the pavilion alone for half an hour and amused myself by taking a lot of pictures of the area, especially of the Kira Café and the location of the meeting hall. I also took a lot of pictures of the sky.

SophiaSharon Larnia: they have wonderful gardens, I've learned a bit in them

SophiaSharon Larnia: I wanted to volunteer there for no reason, but they save spots for interns, so I never applied

Lucinda Lavender: I was learning today about the botanical aspect of the Du Pont Family

Lucinda Lavender: The inheritance from making gunpowder lead to other generations and the bontanical study

stevenaia Michinaga: I was at a Tai Chi retreat on Sunday where some of the people there were trying to form a tao discussion group. I was attempting to unit the group on Skype for an online discussion, since usually SL sends people over the edge
Lucinda Lavender: ah...have tried that with a dream group...
stevenaia Michinaga: seems they all would like to travel once or so a month then attempt an online discussion
Lucinda Lavender: how did it go?
SophiaSharon Larnia: very interesting and creative, where they from different areas?
stevenaia Michinaga: around the area, all within 30 minutes
SophiaSharon Larnia: ah
stevenaia Michinaga: but it’s alot of travel considering the convenient alternative
stevenaia Michinaga: the internet
SophiaSharon Larnia: skype is wonderful, you wouldn’t even have to use the video
stevenaia Michinaga: never did that in a group discussion
stevenaia Michinaga: video group discussion
SophiaSharon Larnia: it works great for the working group of PaB
SophiaSharon Larnia: in voice only tho, so far
Lucinda Lavender: we ended up taking turns to speak for mine situation
stevenaia Michinaga: I thought it was only between 2, although I have done it with voice
SophiaSharon Larnia: wow, ok, so the group members would have several windows open on their computers
stevenaia Michinaga: I think we did that once with the iChing group with Pila
Lucinda Lavender: I think that 6 might be the most clear...
SophiaSharon Larnia: nice
SophiaSharon Larnia: and would make it more accessible, easier to commit to a set period of time
SophiaSharon Larnia: and its free heheheh
Lucinda Lavender: no traffic involved
stevenaia Michinaga: I suspect it’s something you have to get used to , meeting virtually
Lucinda Lavender: yes...
SophiaSharon Larnia: yes, it would be weird for them at first, if theyre not familiar with a virtual presence of any kind
stevenaia Michinaga: nods, people always go blank when you explain SL to them if they have never seen it
SophiaSharon Larnia: but maybe in a totally different kind of way, since you know each other already

stevenaia Michinaga: that was my thought since we can identify the person first and the avatar second
stevenaia Michinaga: but how do you explain that to someone you just met

SophiaSharon Larnia: well, I dont have a good answer to that, its something learned through the medium, i guess
