Paradise Tennant: yes snow is communal :)
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, in so many ways
Lucinda Lavender: :) brings people together I suppose sometimes
stevenaia Michinaga: we have men with toys who clean the streets alleys and cars with snowblower, just because they can
    Lucinda Lavender: :)...
Paradise Tennant: smiles men with tools ..do you not just love that :)
    Lucinda Lavender: yes...
stevenaia Michinaga: my poor little electric snow shovel just doesn't compare
Lucinda Lavender: does it heat up?
Lucinda Lavender: electric is new idea to me
stevenaia Michinaga: no it really doesn't "throw" snow
Paradise Tennant: wow a shovel that heats up .. it is a new idea to me too
stevenaia Michinaga: but it can be moved and lifte easilly
stevenaia Michinaga: not meant for deep snow
Lucinda Lavender: snow does get heavy in drifts doesn't it
    stevenaia Michinaga: only when wet
Lucinda Lavender: what shall we do during the next pause...any ideas?
Paradise Tennant: yes snow has so many forms
stevenaia Michinaga: but then you can make snowpeople
    Lucinda Lavender: true!
stevenaia Michinaga: a foot or two of snow usually brings out the whole neighborhood
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: a snow party
stevenaia Michinaga: and never to early either, everyone sleeps in
Lucinda Lavender: on our last snow day I asked our children what they liked best about a snow day...

    --BELL--
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello SSL
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Aphrodite Macbain: A little chilly for a winter's day but I like the colour too-pistachio
SophiaSharon Larnia: well, true, a night out in rl, just for drinks, is over 40 dollars easy!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: including snacks
Paradise Tennant: that goes a very long way here
SophiaSharon Larnia: im too close to the city i guess
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh my sorry!
    Aphrodite Macbain: :-)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
SophiaSharon Larnia: i didnt even see the bell that time at all
Aphrodite Macbain: It's nice to be able to pay $2.50 for a dress!
    Paradise Tennant: smiles sorry bell
Aphrodite Macbain: I've just returned from Vancouver Island, took me 5 hrs by car, bus, ferry and bus.
Lucinda Lavender: wow...that is the usual amount of time?
SophiaSharon Larnia: wow, you must be exhausted :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: hi Ewan
Aphrodite Macbain: Not sure whether it was worth it. 10 hrs travelling, 2.5 days visiting
    Ewan Bonham: Hi Folks!
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hi Ewan
    Aphrodite Macbain: Hiya Ewan
    Lucinda Lavender: Hello Ewan:)
    Paradise Tennant: hiya ewan
Aphrodite Macbain wonders how to lower the height of the fountain?(  Missed this question-)
Lucinda Lavender: we are just talking of travel and snow and such...
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
Paradise Tennant: small things of life :)
Aphrodite Macbain: that occupy a lot of time
Ewan Bonham: Lol....its all in the mind anyway..:)
    Lucinda Lavender: waiting...
Lucinda Lavender: waiting for snow to melt or for buses
     Aphrodite Macbain: buses to melt?
Lucinda Lavender: no sorry:)buses to arrive
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes I often start my day with a quiet moment .. to focus my mind on creating ..something worthwhile with the day
Aphrodite Macbain: and turn ito pumpkins
Ewan Bonham: Para...yes...it sets my mind to be open to the day..:)
Aphrodite Macbain: sorry - non sequitor
SophiaSharon Larnia: i read that as mind turns to pumpkins and had to reread :)
Aphrodite Macbain: I do that as I drink my coffee
Lucinda Lavender: thought just this morning about sitting quietly before getting out of bed
Aphrodite Macbain: the buses tun into pumpkins, my mind turns to mush
    SophiaSharon Larnia: :P
Lucinda Lavender: going from horizontal to vertical can be kind of strange
Aphrodite Macbain: Yes- diagonal can be useful as a transition
SophiaSharon Larnia: I have been noticing how springing out of bed from anxiety of things i need to do sets the tone for the rest of the day
Aphrodite Macbain: I slowly wake up with 2 cats on my lap
Paradise Tennant: yes am always slow to come to consciousness ..two cups of coffee before I arise to face the day
Lucinda Lavender: nice to have the cats:)(we start to talk of cats and in RL my cats start racing around:))
Lucinda Lavender: me two as well
Ewan Bonham: For me , it is my dog..:)
Lucinda Lavender: my cats just knocked over a lamp...but only broke the light bulb...
Aphrodite Macbain: there is something about getting out of the wrong side of the bed. Having 2 cats and a cup of coffee helps me to decide which side to eventually get out of
    SophiaSharon Larnia: oh nooos
    SophiaSharon Larnia: hehe Aph
Aphrodite Macbain: that''s a relief- easier to replace a light bulb
stevenaia Michinaga: mmm coffee and cats in bed, my favorite
    Lucinda Lavender: Hi Pomona:)
Aphrodite Macbain: they both sit and stare at me as I sip
Paradise Tennant: smiles yes a dog is nice too :)

Ewan Bonham: It is a welcoming place of peace..:)
SophiaSharon Larnia: me a bunch of other lovely people

Aphrodite Macbain: How has it changd?
Ewan Bonham: For me, i felt at first enjoyable but strange..:)
Lucinda Lavender: curious what others remember about how early days felt...
stevenaia Michinaga: nice that you can remember
Ewan Bonham: Hard to get into the rhythm..:)
Ewan Bonham: But now...when I return, it is like I haven't left...:)
    Lucinda Lavender: challenging rhythmically...yes
Lucinda Lavender: I felt an excitement
Aphrodite Macbain: Each one is different even though the players are often the samee
Lucinda Lavender: now feel and eveness...sometimes at a loss for words
Aphrodite Macbain: Some subject is introduced that gavanizes the discussion or fractures it
    Lucinda Lavender: nodding

    And so it begins...

Ewan Bonham: Fish appear again...feeling the fresh air in my lungs..:)
SophiaSharon Larnia:opening doors and walking through
Aphrodite Macbain: fresh water through their gills opening and closing
Lucinda Lavender: as they move about in blue water...
    --BELL--

stevenaia Michinaga: newness in direction, newness in appearance..
Paradise Tennant: their scales flash silver and gold .. in the cold dawn light .. a shimmering dance
Ewan Bonham: Feeling as I could swim...and speak to the fish about fins and things.
SophiaSharon Larnia: being as delight, sharing what they see
Aphrodite Macbain: waving my hands, like fins, clapping and splashing, holding on to the drops
    Aphrodite Macbain: as they fall
    Aphrodite Macbain: and missing
Lucinda Lavender: Human faces are perched over the rim, staring, blinking, wondering, thinking.

    --BELL--

Calvino Rabeni: Present       (I think I started without knowing...just as Cal crashes and then returns...)

Paradise Tennant: hovering in a wing's beat to still this moment

    Lucinda Lavender: cal?
    Calvino Rabeni: errrr :)
    Paradise Tennant: smiles a crash
Lucinda Lavender: in their absence a silence falls into their space
Paradise Tennant: then with a swirl of mist .. life reforms .. clarifies .. comes into focus :)

Calvino Rabeni: Things appear without their surfaces
Lucinda Lavender: flat and gray and bigger than life...

Calvino Rabeni: Paint me with a cheerful patina of pixels

Paradise Tennant: or morphed as life before .. now still faint in the line of a smile :)

Calvino Rabeni: Overlapping restlesss windows segment communiques capriciously
Lucinda Lavender: while I am just breathing here...
Paradise Tennant: a cascade of words ..openings to worlds beyond ... minds beyond and yet within ..
    --BELL--

Calvino Rabeni: A subway station of shifting layers, words glowing brightly in fragmented clusters
Paradise Tennant: a dull roar in the tunnel .. a steady buildng of sound vibration .. rattling ... through my mind

Calvino Rabeni: The fly's eye flies to surfaces ...
Calvino Rabeni: while I am still breathing here and still
    Lucinda Lavender: as a rock.
Paradise Tennant: that 's a nice ending :)
    Lucinda Lavender: nodding
    Paradise Tennant: one more :)
Lucinda Lavender: can't wait to see it formed
    Paradise Tennant: like candy

Paradise Tennant: cal would you like to start
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes (goes prospecting)
    Lucinda Lavender: scritch scratch
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Calvino Rabeni:When people go for a walk in their neighborhood
Paradise Tennant: dogs gamboling .. barking ..their breathe a silver mist in the air
Lucinda Lavender: in the ditch a pile of old letters is swimming..yet readable by human eye.
Calvino Rabeni: Streams thread their way mysteriously between the private spaces
Paradise Tennant: the ink runs .. rivulets like tears of joy of sorrow
Lucinda Lavender: time told...of wars endured and gardens built.
    --BELL--

Calvino Rabeni: Imagination and work created a garden
Calvino Rabeni: from what could have been a trash-lined pit
Calvino Rabeni: and now gives rest to the walker's eye
Calvino Rabeni: with benches and trimmed ivy
Paradise Tennant: words painting pictures held in the minds of writers long gone now fading to benches
Paradise Tennant: inviting .. us to sit .. and stay awhile in the garden of creation

Calvino Rabeni: It could be the talk of the neighborhood, that
Calvino Rabeni: over here the lights are always on... and always blinking
Calvino Rabeni: as if some internal power keeps surging
Lucinda Lavender: or some alien landing pad has been constructed:)
Paradise Tennant: drapes thrown open for all to see .. our strangeness

Calvino Rabeni: scents of cooking hint at human warmth
    Lucinda Lavender: or timers broken....
Calvino Rabeni: the flickering blue light of a television screen
Calvino Rabeni: implies the presence of snack foods as well
Paradise Tennant: cast shadows on our other worldliness .. bobbing antennae dance against the wall
Calvino Rabeni: the dinner call goes out!
    Paradise Tennant: smiles
    Paradise Tennant: enjoy cal :)
    Lucinda Lavender: :)yes:)
Calvino Rabeni: Hasta la vista ... I'll be back :)
    Calvino Rabeni: Dream mighty
Paradise Tennant: smiles will try :)
    Paradise Tennant: that was fun
    Lucinda Lavender: sure was
Lucinda Lavender: like going exploring together...
Paradise Tennant: is that a tail .. a claw .. as set of wings .. that brush against this mundane fabric of subdivision sameness :)
    Paradise Tennant: lol
Paradise Tennant: yes just like going exploring together
    --BELL--
    Paradise Tennant: or ziplining even
Paradise Tennant: smiles all hooked up
Lucinda Lavender: yes all hooked up

    Paradise Tennant: yes
    Paradise Tennant: me too
Paradise Tennant: and somehow you know when it is right and when it need tinkering
Lucinda Lavender: I really did find a bunch of letters in the ditch...
Paradise Tennant: did you read them
    Lucinda Lavender: from WW2
    Paradise Tennant: wow
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
    Paradise Tennant: listens
Lucinda Lavender: someone in England writing to someone over here on d day
Lucinda Lavender: and wondering how all would go
Lucinda Lavender: only one was readable
Paradise Tennant: sad to see it just tossed carelessly aside
Lucinda Lavender: somehow I thought it must have fallen out the back of a truck...
Lucinda Lavender: or something...on the way to the dump...
Paradise Tennant: i find it painful sometimes at antique markets to see all the old pictures with eyes looking out .. feel like they know .. no one is alive to care anymore
    Lucinda Lavender: getting tired here...
    Paradise Tennant: smile me too
Paradise Tennant: time to walk the dog
    Paradise Tennant: thank you lucinda
