The Guardian for this meeting was Storm Nordwind. The comments are by a minimally coherent and exhausted Storm Nordwind. The translator additions in the last third I have added from my own chat log and knowledge, as they were not picked up automatically by the logger.

Eliza appears, bright as the morning itself, while I am as fragmented as the weather.

    Storm Nordwind: Good morning Eliza!
    Eliza Madrigal: Mornin Storm! :)
Storm Nordwind: Bright eyed and bushy tailed? :)
Eliza Madrigal: hmm... not just yet, sort of stop and go....
    Eliza Madrigal: you?
Storm Nordwind: I'm feeling like a miliary academy...
Storm Nordwind: ...bits of me keep passing out
    Eliza Madrigal: oh my
Storm Nordwind: (apologies to Douglas Adams)
Eliza Madrigal: while other bits walk along side and yell at them to get up?
Storm Nordwind: Indeed. You must have seen the movies.
Storm Nordwind: Although "passing out" is a term for leaving the academy after successful training I believe
Eliza Madrigal: Well, I'm familiar with the boot camp feeling :)
    Eliza Madrigal: Oh!
Eliza Madrigal: So some of yous are out the door?
    Eliza Madrigal: hehe
Storm Nordwind: I've no idea where the rest of me is this morning
    Eliza Madrigal: maybe reconfiguring
Storm Nordwind: Perhaps coffee will help, but patching over 2 hours sleep will be difficult!
    Eliza Madrigal: yikes!
Eliza Madrigal: Why are you sleeping so little?
Storm Nordwind: I think I must have wandered off to a different timezone.
Storm Nordwind: Jetlag without any of the wonders of travel to an exotic destination
Eliza Madrigal: hmmm, that's intriguing actually, that feeling
Storm Nordwind: It has been raining for a week - thankfully, as it hasn't rained since last summer.
Storm Nordwind: So I have regressed to Britain psychologically!
Eliza Madrigal: sometimes when I'm studying or trying to integrate many things, I won't sleep well for a few days but then it will all settle together
Eliza Madrigal: Oh, congratulations!! yes you've been worse there for rain than we in Miami
Storm Nordwind: I like that about the integration yes. I have a bunch of disparate work to do (though when do I not!?) and when it is all underway, perhaps that integration will happen.
Eliza Madrigal: so things are just situating themselves then?
Storm Nordwind: Ha! We'll see. ;) If I knew the answer to that maybe I'd have slept properly!
    Eliza Madrigal: haha

    Compartmentalizing.

Eliza Madrigal: I have a difficult time keeping things into compartments, but I wonder if I'd be more efficient were I to do so
Eliza Madrigal: It is like I'm at cross purposes
Storm Nordwind: That's no bad thing IMO
    Eliza Madrigal: strange though
Eliza Madrigal: with one level of my life wanting to open everything into everything
Eliza Madrigal: and the other wanting to settle :)
Storm Nordwind: you think they are mutually exclusive?
Eliza Madrigal: I don't actually... but hm...
    Storm Nordwind smiles
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Eliza Madrigal: well maybe I need more sleep too, hah
    Storm Nordwind: haha!
    --BELL--
    Alfred Kelberry: wuff!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eliza Madrigal smiles Hello to Boxy, giggling

    First and second childhood.

Storm Nordwind: My days are filled with wandering in childlike wonder. I'm settled in that approach. :)
    Alfred Kelberry: hi :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)) Storm
    Storm Nordwind: Hi Boxy
Alfred Kelberry: "childlike wonder" - that's a rare quality to keep
Alfred Kelberry: i think usually it fades after college
Storm Nordwind: Is it that rare? I don't know. Seems no point in losing it.
Eliza Madrigal: It seems to come back :)
Storm Nordwind: No that's senility Eliza!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Storm Nordwind: I have that too, but can distinguish between them!

Thinking of our distant friend in Egypt.

    Alfred Kelberry: yaku-san :)
Eliza Madrigal: I experience a certain kind of wonder now that reminds me of my free-est days in the gardens of chiildhood, hah
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hey everyone
    Storm Nordwind: Hi!
    Alfred Kelberry: poetic eliza :)
    Alfred Kelberry: almost like eden
Eliza Madrigal: yes, like that, a certain permission to be
    Eliza Madrigal: Hi Yaku :))
Alfred Kelberry: btw, how's eden there in revolutionary egypt?
Storm Nordwind: She is counting the colors of a pyramid
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eliza Madrigal: :) See seems content according to tweets
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, nice
Alfred Kelberry: i should start tweeting one day
    Storm Nordwind: Isn't wuffing enough?
    Eliza Madrigal: hah
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Eliza Madrigal: It is like having one almond
Alfred Kelberry: i prefer puppy wuffs indeed

    Compartments and a musical analogy.

Eliza Madrigal: With regard to compartments, there may be an analogy to composing music here or writing, certainly to painting....
Eliza Madrigal: the feeling is that if everything opens and spills so much then it can get muddy... so one has to step back to survey ...
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
Alfred Kelberry: tears are spilled out emotions
Storm Nordwind: But the music can play simultaneously in different rooms and you can wander between, according to the role you play, moment to moment. All can be in harmony
    Eliza Madrigal: mmmm, ponders both
Alfred Kelberry: heh, nice house. each room has a little band playing a distinct genre... jazz, classic, folk... :)
    Alfred Kelberry: i'd like that
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
Storm Nordwind: The amount to which one would find it jarring is the amount by which one hadn't dropped one's attachment
    Alfred Kelberry: hmm
    Storm Nordwind: Big house though!

"Water, water, everywhere, nor any drop to drink."

Eliza Madrigal: on the news this morning they were saying that our drinking water is low in the city, that soon salt water will come into it... didn't sound like a good idea ...
Eliza Madrigal: but then in other places brackish water has its own unique ecosystem
    Storm Nordwind: wow!
Alfred Kelberry: i once heard a phrase "salt - white death" :)
Eliza Madrigal: contexts are so interesting :)
    Eliza Madrigal: yikes Alf
Yakuzza Lethecus: well, it was also white gold
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Storm Nordwind has lived on the beach at times, and knows the white film that can embrace all.
    Eliza Madrigal smiles
Storm Nordwind: Reminds me of the time: "Do you know your little girl is eating sand?" "Yes she does it all the time" She's a 32 year old woman now so it can't haven't been all that bad for her!
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
    --BELL--
    Alfred Kelberry: :/

A reminder to bathe the puppy.

Storm Nordwind forgot to bring the shampoo for Boxy, and he's standing in the pool expectantly it seems
    Alfred Kelberry: :/
Eliza Madrigal giggles and remembers chasing down shepherds in the yard as a kid, to bathe them...so fun
Alfred Kelberry: *has nothing to say*
Eliza Madrigal: but then they'd roll in the grass and dirt after ward, grrr
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Storm Nordwind took that quite the wrong way until he remembered Alsatians
Eliza Madrigal: :)) puppies conjure all sorts of associations Boxy :)
    Eliza Madrigal: hahah
Yakuzza Lethecus: my mothers dog jumps in the bathtub alone when she knows that she´s dirty, that´s funny
Alfred Kelberry: yes... it's really fascinating how our environment basically defines us
    Eliza Madrigal: Cute Yaku!!
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: must be some water loving kind

Butterflies are not good for you.

Eliza Madrigal: I was looking for an image of this butterfly just now... they call it poisonous but it is really just that it ingests a poisonous plant...
Eliza Madrigal: suspect many things are this way
Eliza Madrigal: the butterfly and plant are endangered together
Storm Nordwind: The inconvenient will be eliminated
Eliza Madrigal: hm, seems there are a lot of poisonous butterflies as it turns out
    Eliza Madrigal: :))
    Alfred Kelberry: ha!
    Alfred Kelberry: a pup
Storm Nordwind is not one for eating butterflies
    Eliza Madrigal smiles

Yakuzza rezzes a picture of a dog for us.

    Alfred Kelberry: wuff!
    Eliza Madrigal: awwww
Yakuzza Lethecus: don´t come to close, she only snaps when other dogs come closer :)
    Eliza Madrigal: :)))
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: otherwise she´s really nice, but somehow she doesn´t like sniffing dogs
Storm Nordwind: I can sympathize with that
    Eliza Madrigal: hahahahahhah
Eliza Madrigal: Must get back to boxing and unboxing now
    Yakuzza Lethecus: bye eliza
Storm Nordwind: I hope you win the match
    Eliza Madrigal: Thanks Storm :)
    Storm Nordwind: Bye for now!
Eliza Madrigal: Nice to see you guys, have fun
Yakuzza Lethecus: what are you going to unbo x? :)
    Eliza Madrigal: mind
    Eliza Madrigal: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: fortunatly boxy, ur not snapping
Yakuzza Lethecus: at least i hope so :)
    --BELL--
Alfred Kelberry: cal likes asking me that :)

There is a long silent period, and then...

Alfred Kelberry: 3 strangers in the circle
Storm Nordwind looks and does not see
Alfred Kelberry: brought here to this moment via some amazing paths
    Yakuzza Lethecus looks strange
    Storm Nordwind chuckles

    Creating history.

Alfred Kelberry: i sometimes think how many history each one of us holds... countless stories and laughs and cries
Storm Nordwind: and how much history each has engendered by touching another's life briefly
    Alfred Kelberry: yes....
Yakuzza Lethecus: and how can a tiny recommendation have great effects
Alfred Kelberry: i think we're being touched each moment
Alfred Kelberry: yaku, yes... those somehow crucial moments in time
Alfred Kelberry: they must be somehow different as they bring big changes and epiphanies

    A Second Life changing event.

Storm Nordwind chose Second Life on the basis of such recommendations
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Alfred Kelberry: a little key to a big world
Storm Nordwind: Without that key (found here http://www.virtualworldsreview.com/) he would not have met his wife.
Alfred Kelberry: i've passed on too many of them
Alfred Kelberry: ah, true. this is indeed a life-changing event.
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, for me it was the same, it was mentioned in a volkshochschul course by someone, the day after i checked on it because i heard about it a couple of times in the news media but never really cared until that moment

    Immersion and people becoming real.

Yakuzza Lethecus: a major transition of immersiveness followed then with and after the malta retreat
Yakuzza Lethecus: when the pab people suddenly became real
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: that brough a hugh new amount of immersiveness with it
Storm Nordwind presumes he is still unreal ;)
Yakuzza Lethecus: nah, vor example your voice and the acting in some of the kira sessions made you very much real
Storm Nordwind: Ah yes - I'd forgotten that
Yakuzza Lethecus: everyone became more real though that for me
Alfred Kelberry: did my wuffs make me more real? :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: no just more cute :)
Alfred Kelberry: ah, that's good too, i guess
Storm Nordwind: No just more in need of a shampoo
Yakuzza Lethecus: doggies tigger some positive natural appreaciation i guess :P
    Alfred Kelberry: especially puppies
Yakuzza Lethecus: the baby effect :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: strange can´t find a good english article right away
    Yakuzza Lethecus: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kindchenschema
Yakuzza Lethecus: when i click english in here there is just ,,cuteness" but that is something different for me
Alfred Kelberry: when i see storm, i imagine him tall, sturdy man with long hair and an electric guitar :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: oh yes :)
    Storm Nordwind: Accurate :)
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

A new visitor. We struggle with our language differences. The translator's words do not appear in the automatic chat log. I have added them in manually.

    Lucrezia Kristan: hi;)
    Alfred Kelberry: hi, lucr
    Storm Nordwind: Hello Lucrezia
    Lucrezia Kristan: sorry
    Lucrezia Kristan: i m italian
Storm Nordwind: I don't think you have been here before, am I right?
    Alfred Kelberry: ciao :)
Lucrezia Kristan: and speak little english
    Yakuzza Lethecus: welcome lucrezia anton
    Lucrezia Kristan: ciao
Alfred Kelberry: we have one italian in the group
Storm Nordwind: We record everything here and publish it on the web
Storm Nordwind: Do you mind if your name is published? And what you say?
    Lucrezia Kristan: my little english;(((
    Lucrezia Kristan: i need
    Lucrezia Kristan: peace
    Lucrezia Kristan: ;(
Yakuzza Lethecus: hmm, sadly aph isn´t online, she can speak italian
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, neat
Alfred Kelberry: or qt, who can also speak italian :)
    Yakuzza Lethecus: hehe, hopefully :)
Yakuzza Lethecus: i sometimes wonder about my germanskills
Storm Nordwind: Lucrezia - where do you look for peace?
Lucrezia Kristan: CERCO PACE [I seek peace]
    Lucrezia Kristan: sorry
    Lucrezia Kristan: a moment
Alfred Kelberry: lucr, there's a translate option in the chat window
    Lucrezia Kristan: eccomi [I am]
    --BELL--
    Lucrezia Kristan: ;)
Storm Nordwind muses on the wonders of Phoenix
Lucrezia Kristan: sono qui [I'm here]
Lucrezia Kristan: perche' cerco pace ['cause I seek peace]
Alfred Kelberry: can you see translation?
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
    Alfred Kelberry: ah, good :)
Lucrezia Kristan: io ho il traduttore [I have the translator]
    Alfred Kelberry: great!
Alfred Kelberry: it's a peaceful place here :)
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
Lucrezia Kristan: l'ho cercaato [I tried]
    Lucrezia Kristan: cercavo [trying]
    Lucrezia Kristan: il sufismo [Sufism]
    Alfred Kelberry: does it work?

The inadequacy of language to describe an important thing.

Storm Nordwind: All roads to peace take you to the same place
    Lucrezia Kristan: spero [I hope]
    Alfred Kelberry: storm, which is?
    Storm Nordwind: Within
    Alfred Kelberry: gah
    Alfred Kelberry: that's too vague
Lucrezia Kristan: dove vivete? [where you live?]
Yakuzza Lethecus: i am from germany
Storm Nordwind: when you have found peace, it is hard to describe where it is to those who do not feel it. "Within" will have to do until I find a better description!
Alfred Kelberry: "within" is overloaded :) especially in a religious context
Storm Nordwind: And what isn't overloaded nowadays?
    Alfred Kelberry: "and" isn't

    Sadness.

Lucrezia Kristan: sono triste [I'm sad]
Alfred Kelberry: why are you sad?
Storm Nordwind: What makes you sad?
Lucrezia Kristan: perche' un mio amico ['cause a friend of mine]
Lucrezia Kristan: mi ha detto [I said]
Lucrezia Kristan: che ha un brutto male [who has a bad bad (illness?)]
    Alfred Kelberry: a boyfriend?
Lucrezia Kristan: e mi ha lasciato [and left me]
    Lucrezia Kristan: no [no]
    Lucrezia Kristan: amico [friend]
Lucrezia Kristan: li da sola [them alone]
Lucrezia Kristan: con questa notizia [with this news]
Lucrezia Kristan: LO ODIO [I HATE IT]
Alfred Kelberry: yes, that's a drama
Lucrezia Kristan: E' SCAPPATO [E 'GETAWAY]
Lucrezia Kristan: DA ME [FROM ME]
    Lucrezia Kristan: PERCHE? [WHY?]
    Lucrezia Kristan: ;(((
Alfred Kelberry: did you meet him in secondlife?
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
    Alfred Kelberry: aha
Alfred Kelberry: things go fast in secondlife :)
Storm Nordwind: The pixels are like dreams, but the emotions are real
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
Lucrezia Kristan: vi sto dando fastidio [I am giving you trouble]
Alfred Kelberry: why did he leave?
    Lucrezia Kristan: ;(
Lucrezia Kristan: vi disturbo? [you trouble?]
    Alfred Kelberry: was he italian?
    Storm Nordwind: No it's OK
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
    Lucrezia Kristan: italiano [Italian]
Alfred Kelberry: how long have you been together?
Lucrezia Kristan: non lo siamo [we are not]
Lucrezia Kristan: e' solo un amico [and just a friend]
    Alfred Kelberry: um...
Alfred Kelberry: i'm lost in translation
Storm Nordwind: "Sono "caduta a terra" tante volte ....ma ogni volta mi rialzavo piu forte di prima" :) ['They are "falling down " many times .... but every time I get up again stronger than before'. (I am making a quote from Lucrezia's own 1st life profile.)]
    Lucrezia Kristan: si [yes]
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Lucrezia Kristan: di solito [usually]
Lucrezia Kristan: ma ora [but now]
Lucrezia Kristan: e' difficile [and difficult]
    Alfred Kelberry: riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: ah, still here. good morning
Alfred Kelberry: yes, we've been waiting for you
    Yakuzza Lethecus: good morning riddle
Storm Nordwind: Good morning Mr. Riddle
Riddle Sideways: thanks, what was missed
    Lucrezia Kristan: buongiorno [good morning]
Riddle Sideways: what fabulious chat was going on
    Riddle Sideways: on what topic?
    Lucrezia Kristan: ;(
    --BELL--
Lucrezia Kristan: il mio dolore [my pain]
Storm Nordwind: Il tempo guarisce tutti i mali. [Time heals all wounds]
Lucrezia Kristan: lo so [I know]
Lucrezia Kristan: gia provato [already tried]
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
Lucrezia Kristan: posso tornare a trovarvi? [I can get to find you?]
    Storm Nordwind: Si [Yes]
    Lucrezia Kristan: grazie [Thanks]
    Storm Nordwind waves
    Alfred Kelberry: please come anytime
    Lucrezia Kristan: ciao
    Lucrezia Kristan: :))
    Alfred Kelberry: :)
    Alfred Kelberry: wuff!

    I need to go.

Storm Nordwind: Gentlemen, I must go get some more sleep! I'll pick up the log later.
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Yakuzza Lethecus: have a good siesta storm
    Riddle Sideways: more sleep?
Riddle Sideways: that would be nice
    Alfred Kelberry: sleep well, stormy

    Ruth and non-backward compatability.

Storm Nordwind sees Riddle is Ruthed this morning
    Yakuzza Lethecus: me too
Yakuzza Lethecus: while boxy seems fine today
Alfred Kelberry: phoenix is ruthed i think :)
Riddle Sideways: that has been happening more n more
    Storm Nordwind waves
    Riddle Sideways: v2 +update maybe
    Riddle Sideways: is this better
    Riddle Sideways: bye storm
Alfred Kelberry: you look fine to me
Alfred Kelberry: it's mostly v1 users who have problems
Yakuzza Lethecus: yes, i consider switching to firestorm
    Alfred Kelberry: firestorm is alpha
Yakuzza Lethecus: does anyone have experiences with that yet ?
Riddle Sideways: had thought rebake was for my viewer to re-render the other teextures
    Alfred Kelberry: no
    Riddle Sideways: no
Alfred Kelberry: v2 is just fine for me

    Missing the translation.

Riddle Sideways: yesterday I realized it was the translate that was messing with the chat log
    Riddle Sideways: turned it off
Riddle Sideways: just in time to miss most of today's translations :]
    Alfred Kelberry: :)

    A buried box.

Alfred Kelberry: this cal's box does some magic too
Alfred Kelberry: not sure what exactly
Alfred Kelberry: i should ask him
Yakuzza Lethecus: you mean the notecard giver ?
Riddle Sideways: it is a smartthing
    --BELL--
Yakuzza Lethecus: which is half in the groud ?
    Alfred Kelberry: yep
Riddle Sideways: the grass has grown up over it :))
