Adams Rubble: I did not realize I had been evicted for a while
Adams Rubble: It has been a crazy morning after a long night last night
Riddle Sideways: how is the weather there now?
    Adams Rubble: collllddddddddddddddd
           --BELL--
Adams Rubble: but it will warm up to 30 F today
    Riddle Sideways: ah
Riddle Sideways: suppose to be warm and dry here also
Adams Rubble: Thursday will be raining and 52 F
    Adams Rubble: crazy
Riddle Sideways: but those are 'Forecasts'
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: the aftcasts are not all that useful :)
Adams Rubble: yesterday will be a high of 14 with winds at 18 mph
Riddle Sideways: and the chill factor
Adams Rubble: the Aftcasts tend to be more accurate though
    Riddle Sideways: will be cccccooooollllllddddddd

Riddle Sideways: how can you get Aftcasts?
Adams Rubble: it apparently did not keep many people away from the MLK program last night

Adams Rubble: just ask, Riddle :)
Riddle Sideways: have been trying to get the numbers of what weather had been
Riddle Sideways: have several web interfaces, sites, etc. that only want to give today and this coming week
Adams Rubble: hmmm, I bet it is on the web somewhere
Riddle Sideways: can't find the data of the last week
    Riddle Sideways: somewhere
    Riddle Sideways: oh maybe not
Adams Rubble: you might check the nearest university that tracks the weather
Riddle Sideways: so like last year
Adams Rubble: which is the land grant college in California?

Riddle Sideways: now remembering the scandal
Riddle Sideways: the Gov weather data is now only available through commericial access
    Adams Rubble: wow--bummer
Adams Rubble: I got a great deal for you--last weeks weather
Riddle Sideways: the new appointed commisioner is one of the main commericial weather companies
Riddle Sideways: can get the ocean's temp, tides, etc.
Adams Rubble: the other thing to do is to record it every day yourself in a journal or diary :)
Riddle Sideways: that is part of the issue. the recordings
Riddle Sideways: have 3+ devices recording, so don't know the real facts data
Riddle Sideways: neighbor has a weather station on top of house and has yet to connect to web
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: one technology at a time :)
Riddle Sideways: want that local data also
    Riddle Sideways: yes

Riddle Sideways: ok, enough. back to MLK day
Adams Rubble: it was a moving program
    Riddle Sideways: your's was program
    Riddle Sideways: inside
Adams Rubble: a young man spoke who is very promising
    Riddle Sideways: great
Adams Rubble: he was profiled by the police in our town in a very scary incident
Adams Rubble: he was not hurt physically but it seems it has greatly affected him mentally
Adams Rubble: but he gave a very moving experience about just reading MLK's last book, Where Do We Go from here?
Adams Rubble: He is studying Journalism at Columbia University
Adams Rubble: that incident has caused a rift in our community with the police
Adams Rubble: we are going to have to figure out how to mend it
           --BELL--
Adams Rubble: I am not doing well searching for last week;'s weather
Riddle Sideways: thanks, but give up on the weather
Adams Rubble: yes, must get back to our guest soon

Riddle Sideways: how does one or a community heal
    Riddle Sideways: from experiences
Adams Rubble: The police never apologized and the main officer tried to do a little bit of a cover up, i.e. lied about details
Adams Rubble: The town is looking for a new police chief; there will be a big meeting in a week or two with the community
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, Really? [too light sarcasm]
    Riddle Sideways: ok
Adams Rubble: there is more to the story but too complicated to get it all in here
Adams Rubble: there was a policeman who has been working with us who is a native to the town
    Riddle Sideways: so many stories
Adams Rubble: we seem to have lost him over this incident
    Riddle Sideways: too bad
    Adams Rubble: yes
Adams Rubble: he was not there last night
Riddle Sideways: partly remembering a NJ story (sent you the link) about good things in a neighbor town

Adams Rubble: our guest is here at the mouse
    Adams Rubble: kgbguigbkjh
Riddle Sideways: also, now remembering the Bob Dylan song
