All 6 members of the WG were present for the Skype meeting.
Chair Pema raised two points which had not been on the pre-published agenda:
--The Scribe session conducted by Eliza, well attended and well received. Discussion about the length of time which scribes have found it takes to prepare a scribe writeup for 12 chatlogs: 4-5 hours has been common, but it was clear that amount of time, dedication to the task, and perhaps other motivations help sculpt the time each scribe puts in. Eos raised the point that many of us do not take full advantage of the scribes work as a way to catch up with general themes and topics in PaB. Pema recalled that his original intent in launching the scribe project was to establish just that, a way to gain overview of current themes and topics. It was decided to accept the gaps in the scribing, which occurs due to lack of followthrough or other issues. And it was felt that SophiaSharon's ideas of posting notecards in the Village Pub regarding PaB and scribing was a good idea.
--Theme sessions: Pema raised the issue of no active Theme sessions currently. Maxine wondered about the TSK (Time, Space, Knowledge book by Tarthang Tulku ) might become a theme session following the reading of the book which several are currently, and which will conclude by the end of March. Maxine and Pema will co-faculitate a theme session on TSK, on Sunday March 28, 1300 PaB session; also Mark and Eliza will co-facilitate a theme session on the phrase"Be decisive, know what is, see clearly" on Tuesday, March 30, 1900.
All the other agenda points were postponed until the RL Working Group meeting in Princeton, March 17-20.
Respectfully submitted,
Maxine
