stevenaia Michinaga: Interesting lately watching the dynamics of the group getting together to buy the lands

Paradise Tennant: hm have not followed all the emails

Paradise Tennant: but it seems complicated

SophiaSharon Larnia: it sounds wonderful for them, although complicated too :)

stevenaia Michinaga: more like a meeting in Im only in emails, yes, does sound complicated

stevenaia Michinaga: but in the end, after all that it seemed to come down to 10.00 per month (I think)

stevenaia Michinaga: but since I;m on the free plan, 120 a year for virtual real estate seems expensive, cheap? hard to know

Paradise Tennant: well nice to have a spot to meet and chat ..definitely need some kind of area ..how big I guess is the dynamic

stevenaia Michinaga: but if it gets up to a place where we can have a SL retreat, I suppose I would contribute, but would rather go to Malta

SophiaSharon Larnia: too expensive for me right now

Paradise Tennant: actually malta sounds like fun ..seriously thinking of planing to go

stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps virtual Malta?

SophiaSharon Larnia: laughs, that I can afford ;p

Paradise Tennant: sigh ..always the case .. when you have the time ..funds are low and when you have funds ..time is low

SophiaSharon Larnia: I heard they don't even stamp your passport anymore

stevenaia Michinaga: then why are there so many pages in it

Paradise Tennant: :)) hmm so far ..mine always gets stamped ...interesting to watch the Americans go through the custom .. in cuba and they just smile at them .. no stamps ..!!!!

Paradise Tennant: another of life's ironies

Paradise Tennant: always find it disappointing just when my passport starts to get interesting it expires and you have to start all over

stevenaia Michinaga: they didn;t stamp it on my way into Canada this summer

Paradise Tennant: hmm never had mine stamped going into the us either in fact never use to have to show it

SophiaSharon Larnia: you didn't have to show your passport Paradise?

Paradise Tennant: sometimes would ask to see id but often as not they just wave you through pre 9/11

Paradise Tennant: use to sail across the lake and call into customs ..they would never answer ..

SophiaSharon Larnia: Ive been practicing calm abiding meditation to achieve balance/stability, mostly.

stevenaia Michinaga: I do some of that with Tai Chi, all about shifting balance

Paradise Tennant: hmm had a great chat with pila about that

stevenaia Michinaga: yes, he has been doing it for quite a while

Paradise Tennant: how tai is a physical discipline which balances the external forces of life with the internal forces of the body

stevenaia Michinaga: I am a beginner just learning about it and Chi

Paradise Tennant: :) me too

Rowan Masala: but you seem to be very comfortable doing it

Paradise Tennant: the calm abiding meditation is a great practice sophia .. how do you find it :)

SophiaSharon Larnia: it is lovely... it does work to calm me so I can think more clearly, it's hard to hold onto when I become very busy

stevenaia Michinaga: it; like the 9 seconds, or the 90 seconds, you can do it just about anywhere to take a break, I do in my office, in my back yard, in my dining room, but my cat gets involved then

SophiaSharon Larnia: but the memory is staying with me, more and more

Paradise Tennant: cats are great meditators

stevenaia Michinaga: seems to "move" the cat to play with my feet

SophiaSharon Larnia: or sleepers :))

stevenaia Michinaga: trys it now see if the cat wakes up.......

SophiaSharon Larnia: when i meditate, my cats invariably sit next to me, one of each side

SophiaSharon Larnia: its like they know or something ;p

Paradise Tennant: I bet they sense it

Paradise Tennant: I use to do a walking meditation .. and my dog could always tell ..he would come barreling up to me and jump on me .. as though to say ..hey you pay attention this is my time !

SophiaSharon Larnia: grins

SophiaSharon Larnia: Ive been doing walking meditation too, but it turns into a power walk

Paradise Tennant: :)) yes on many many many levels :)

stevenaia Michinaga: thought Tai Chi was walking meditation

SophiaSharon Larnia: i go for a walk ... and pay attention to the moment, by moment

Paradise Tennant: i always focus on my breath ..

SophiaSharon Larnia: many moments in one complete step

Paradise Tennant: lovely

stevenaia Michinaga: breathing is something I am only slowly integrating onto my practice

Paradise Tennant: for me it is how i make it work .. so direct .. so easy

SophiaSharon Larnia: me too, for me its become something my body odes on its own, when i focus on my breath, it changes the rate, etc and i become occupied with that

Rowan Masala: I came in looking for libraries. Very unimpressive. Took me a while to find interesting things

Paradise Tennant: sl has its truly amazing points .. the creativity here .. is astounding ..
