The Guardian for this meeting was Bruce Mowbray.

Bruce Mowbray: Thank you! I appreciate that.
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Bruce Mowbray: I got knocked off-line this afternoon by a thunderstorm -- and was away for 45 minutes. . . So I was just reading what happened.
stevenaia Michinaga: awww, at the session you claimed
    Bruce Mowbray: Yep.
stevenaia Michinaga: don't let me interrupt, depending on the session, It used to talk me hours to edit sometimes
Bruce Mowbray: no no. That's fine. I can take care of it later.
Bruce Mowbray: I've only done it a few times (3 to be exact) - so I'm sort of playing it by ear.
stevenaia Michinaga: I seemed to have clothed my "Advanced" Menu, any idea how to get it back
    stevenaia Michinaga: *closed
Bruce Mowbray: Yes. . . Let me think just a moment....
Bruce Mowbray: It's CTRL -ALT -D
    Bruce Mowbray: Did that work?
stevenaia Michinaga: thanks, that was perfectly intuitive
Bruce Mowbray: I like that Advanced menu.
Bruce Mowbray: Good for stopping animation, rebaking textures, etc.
stevenaia Michinaga: unfortunately the toggle to turn it off is in the advanced menu
Bruce Mowbray: Sort of a Catch-22, there!
stevenaia Michinaga: I appear to be a cloud to me so I was trying to rebake
stevenaia Michinaga: .. that didn't work
    stevenaia Michinaga: :(
Bruce Mowbray: You look just fine to me, steve.
stevenaia Michinaga: I did change my clothes
Bruce Mowbray: I see you have on a dark grey turtleneck sweater.
    Bruce Mowbray: and black pants.
    stevenaia Michinaga: yes
Bruce Mowbray: So, how long have you been with PaB?

    --BELL–

stevenaia Michinaga: thinking, about a month or two after it began, I was introduce to pema through a mutual SL friend and he invited me to a session, about 2+ years (april 1 was its beginning date, 2+ years ago
stevenaia Michinaga: I heard but did not see the "bell"
    Bruce Mowbray: Wow!
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I just noticed that there was no "BELL" in the chat box...
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmmm. . . . Did I do something to it???
stevenaia Michinaga: there's a bit of this written in the chronicles
    stevenaia Michinaga: http://wiki.playasbeing.org/PaB_Chronicles/Chapter_7%3a_Autumn/D._Stevenaia
stevenaia Michinaga: No idea about the "BELL" you can just type it in, it is nice to see in the Logs
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks for that, Steve. I've bookmarked it for reading later.
stevenaia Michinaga: there are fountain controls that storm wrote, I usually use it to "turn down" the fountain
stevenaia Michinaga: have you seem them
Bruce Mowbray: Nope, but I've noticed folks use them before.
stevenaia Michinaga: "/9 help" to see how they work
stevenaia Michinaga: for small groups you can turn the fountain off
    stevenaia Michinaga: :)
Bruce Mowbray: Wow -- I learn something new every time I come here!
stevenaia Michinaga: no idea what controls the the bell
Bruce Mowbray: Me neither. Maybe Cal will know.
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, that is actually one of the attactions about this place
    Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Calvino!
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Cal
    Calvino Rabeni: hi, s + b !
Bruce Mowbray is playing with the fountain controls.
Bruce Mowbray: I've just learned how to use them!
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Cal -- The "BELL" does not show in the chat box -- Any suggestions?
    Calvino Rabeni: How, Bruce ?
Bruce Mowbray: Well, we can hear the bell when it goes off--
Bruce Mowbray: but there is no printing in the chat box... when it rings.
Bruce Mowbray: steve and I thought you might know how to fix that.
stevenaia Michinaga: oh wise and powerful code writer
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Calvino Rabeni: I do not know that !
stevenaia Michinaga: I think storm wrote that, or perhaps Fael or Wol
stevenaia Michinaga: was it on in your earlier log, bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes -- the earlier log has the bell -- no problem with that one.
Calvino Rabeni: Does it not say "Thank You" when it rings?
    Bruce Mowbray: nope.

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: There it is ----! Maybe it's just at the top of the hour... cool. Silence, now.
    stevenaia Michinaga: (fixed)... nevermind
stevenaia Michinaga: Bruce, I stand corrected.... my first session was Saturday, April 26, 2008.
Calvino Rabeni: It said Thank You and then dinged
stevenaia Michinaga: (from an earlier question)
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, the bell is working fine now.
Bruce Mowbray: I'm amazed you can remember the date, steve.
stevenaia Michinaga: I looked it up for the interview for the Chronicals by adams
stevenaia Michinaga: which was no simple task, the wiki had originally be tramferred from a wordpress blog
Bruce Mowbray: wow! and there are so many different facets to it now!
stevenaia Michinaga: and the search ability of the blog with all the postings were limited
    Bruce Mowbray: whew!
Bruce Mowbray: Hey, Calvino -- were you able to see any meteors this week?
Calvino Rabeni: Last night I saw one, the night before three, by a little standing around on the porch.
Bruce Mowbray: great! I look forward to it every year. This year was good because it was a New Moon.
Bruce Mowbray: You're in New York City, right steve?
    stevenaia Michinaga: eastern PA
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- sorry. Don't know where I got that idea--- Maybe I'm thinking of Pema.
stevenaia Michinaga: I'm about 70 minutes from Princeton
Bruce Mowbray: OK. You're employed at Princeton, then?
    stevenaia Michinaga: no
Bruce Mowbray: again, I'm thinking of Pema.
stevenaia Michinaga: I only appear there for retreats
    Bruce Mowbray: OK.
stevenaia Michinaga: a bit too convenient not to :)
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Bruce Mowbray: Don't know why, but I have some reservations about meeting everyone in RL. . Bruce Mowbray: Something about "revealing" identity -- or something.
Bruce Mowbray: This week's assignment in the Time Sessions . . .
Bruce Mowbray: is opening up some things for me.
stevenaia Michinaga: the first retreat was full of privacy issues from a few who attended
    Bruce Mowbray: about "being seen."
    Bruce Mowbray: oh really?
Calvino Rabeni: We're just not as pretty as in SL - and a whole lot thicker there
stevenaia Michinaga: some had identity issues, others had gender concerns, but it was a lovely experience
Bruce Mowbray: I'm sure it was a grand experience.
Calvino Rabeni: Maybe it's like being teenagers, the first time you go skinny-dipping, noticing there's more to see than usual
stevenaia Michinaga: between the RL/SL/email there are many aspects to all of us, but it was an enhancing experience, nice observation Bruce
Bruce Mowbray: I'm almost 68 years old and I still go skinny-sipping.
stevenaia Michinaga: perhaps the next retreat
    Bruce Mowbray: maybe so!
Calvino Rabeni: I found it "enhancing" to meet

    --BELL–

stevenaia Michinaga: the words of those I met have a deeper voice now
stevenaia Michinaga: the smiles are more defined
Calvino Rabeni: the images are etched in my memory, along with their feeling qualities
Calvino Rabeni: like watching someone watch someone else, has a lot in it
Bruce Mowbray: Don't really understand why I'd have "issues" with meeting folks in RL -- People are so kind and respectful here --
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello hana
Calvino Rabeni: the SL eyes don't reveal that quality of in-the-moment attention
    Bruce Mowbray: Hello, Hana.
    Calvino Rabeni: Hana :)
    Hana Furlough: Hi everyone!
Calvino Rabeni: I was just thinking about my visit to Princeton
    Bruce Mowbray: yes, Cal?
    Hana Furlough: oh yeah?
Calvino Rabeni: we were talking about what it's like to meet - Bruce seems to be wondering about it
Hana Furlough: oh yes... real life
Hana Furlough: it was great meeting you, cal!
Hana Furlough: and everyone else from SL, for that matter
Hana Furlough: even better than in SL
Calvino Rabeni: Yes very true :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: nods
Hana Furlough: oh no! incoming phone call
    Hana Furlough: !
    Hana Furlough: pardon me~
Bruce Mowbray wants to try out the animation Yaku gave his today...
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    stevenaia Michinaga: :) it works
    Bruce Mowbray: Yepperes. It works!
Calvino Rabeni: I am just wondering if it is a pleasant death
    stevenaia Michinaga: what is?
Bruce Mowbray: It felt good to laughed, Cal.
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    stevenaia Michinaga: awww
    stevenaia Michinaga: missed that
Calvino Rabeni: There must be a "laugh your head off" animation around somewhere :)
    stevenaia Michinaga: lol
Hana Furlough: sorry! must take call! Wonderful evening to you all!
    stevenaia Michinaga: bye Hana
Bruce Mowbray: OK -- See you again, Hana.
Calvino Rabeni: Bye, good to see you !
Bruce Mowbray: We had a wonderful storm here today.
Bruce Mowbray: It knocked me off-line for a couple of hours, but the crops needed it desperately.
stevenaia Michinaga: what do you grow?
Bruce Mowbray: Well, right now we have soybeans and corn...
Bruce Mowbray: and earlier, my farmer took out the winter wheat.
Bruce Mowbray: although most of the Midwest has had a lot of rain this year, there is a strip through southern Ohio that has hardly gotten any.
Bruce Mowbray: This rain saved our crops.

    --BELL–

Calvino Rabeni: We gave Fennel a try this year ... had way too much spinach and beets ... but the broccoli was awol ... blueberries and raspberries were rock steady, plums and figs are on the way and look good ... the sun room is full of drying onions and the lemons are hanging around outdoors ...
Calvino Rabeni: all the squashes are behaving themselves
Bruce Mowbray: Gosh! Really great, Cal.
Calvino Rabeni: this isn't farming but urban gardening, no big machines and chemicals
Bruce Mowbray: I could never get my squash to behave.
Calvino Rabeni: One of Lucinda's chickens got jammed up inside, it was a puzzle what to do
Calvino Rabeni: The zuchini hasn't gone ballistic yet :)
Calvino Rabeni: Artichokes are steady; not sure what happened to asparagus yet
Bruce Mowbray: I'm feeling a rush of blueberry-envy.
Calvino Rabeni: Carrots were small but super-delicious
Calvino Rabeni: Rutabagas were a modest success
Bruce Mowbray: asparagus, as you already know, takes years.
Calvino Rabeni: Sunflowers are tall and cheerful
Calvino Rabeni: The green beans soldiered on ... dry beans are taking it easy this year
Calvino Rabeni: Potatoes do their thing secretly
Bruce Mowbray: You've a magnificent garden, there. Do you take care of it yourself -- or have a grdener?
Calvino Rabeni: There are some perennial soil pests
    stevenaia Michinaga: hello Roxana
Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Roxanna. Good to see you again.
    Roxana Falconer: Hiya Steve
    Roxana Falconer: Bruce!
    Calvino Rabeni: Roxana, hello
Roxana Falconer: It's great to see you all
Bruce Mowbray: We've been chatting about Cal's magnificent garden.
Bruce Mowbray: (not a secret garden, either!)
Roxana Falconer: This is all Cal's garden?
Bruce Mowbray: No -- his garden in real life.
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
Roxana Falconer: Oh it is a vegetable garden or flowers?
Calvino Rabeni: just a pocket backyard garden ... but it has some of everything, seemingly
Calvino Rabeni: I was interested in eggplant and peppers, but the weather isn't reliably hot enough
Calvino Rabeni: Cucumbers and cabbages do well
Roxana Falconer: It ahs been too hot here. Having a garden is awesome. Ther is nothing like fresh vegetables
stevenaia Michinaga: such a random event. farming vs rain expectation, kinda frightening
Bruce Mowbray cannot think of any veggies that Cal does NOT raise.
    Roxana Falconer: Wow
Calvino Rabeni: Oh, used to have an apple tree - but couldn't handle the pests, which moved in to stay
    Roxana Falconer: Bummer
Calvino Rabeni: so the tree was removed
    Calvino Rabeni: yes
Roxana Falconer: We have pear trees behind our house
Roxana Falconer: Our house backs up to a public park
    Bruce Mowbray: nice.
Roxana Falconer: People come from all over to get the fruit as do the animas
Bruce Mowbray: I live in a forest, actually.
Bruce Mowbray: but I'd like to have fruit trees nearby.
Calvino Rabeni: I helped organize a neighborhood group - the idea was cooperation and sustainability - most of the activity was around local food production
Roxana Falconer: I was actually frightened the first time I was in a real forest
Bruce Mowbray: I have LOT of natural berries around, though.
    Calvino Rabeni: Really?
    Roxana Falconer: ooo berrries, yum
    Roxana Falconer: Yes
Calvino Rabeni: I mean, fear of the forest? Well, ...
Bruce Mowbray: public gardening is a great idea.
Bruce Mowbray: Lions and tigers and bears, oh my?
Roxana Falconer: The forest was so awesome. The sheer magnitude of it overwhelmed me. I was in Oregon
Calvino Rabeni: Hmm, I grew up in the American West - famous for there being more places where nobody is, than places where there are people
Roxana Falconer: And the trees were so tall and close together.
Calvino Rabeni: Nice - I have a house in Oregon
    Calvino Rabeni: great state
Bruce Mowbray: Well, Oregon and Washington have some fantastic forests.
Roxana Falconer: We were by a lake and the trees were mirrored on the lake. It shook me up LOL
Roxana Falconer: I was visiting in Medford Cal
Calvino Rabeni: There's so much space, a forest fire can burn 100 square miles, without bothering more then a few people
Calvino Rabeni: Yes I know Medford
stevenaia Michinaga: my first rain forest visit was on the Washington coast
Roxana Falconer: It is beautiful country
Bruce Mowbray: Muir Woods, by any chance, steve?
Roxana Falconer: City dwellers have no idea of the vastest of nature
stevenaia Michinaga: it was an indian reservation, fist time I saw the Pacific
Roxana Falconer: It fills you up!
Calvino Rabeni: I have a motorcycle with knobby tires which I used to explore those mountain roads and back country between Medford, northern Cal, and mt. Shasta
Calvino Rabeni: Or up to Crater Lake
Calvino Rabeni: what a great area
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes, it's vast

    --BELL–

Roxana Falconer: LOL the few times I was on a motorcycle my bum went numb
Bruce Mowbray: Cal, we've just found another parallel! I used to take my motorcycle through northern Cal and Oregon, too.
Roxana Falconer: but the ride was thrilling
Roxana Falconer: That is also another way to experience nature. Motorcycles open up the experience of the road
Calvino Rabeni: We have a growing number of parallels, Bruce
    Bruce Mowbray: yep.
stevenaia Michinaga: I must be off, night all
    Roxana Falconer: Night Steve!
Calvino Rabeni: There are some large wilderness preserves - a bicycle really helps to get into them
Bruce Mowbray: Thanks, steve. Have a good night.
    Calvino Rabeni: Bye Steve :)
Bruce Mowbray: The last time I was on a motorcycle, I crashed and had to be taken to the ER in an ambulance.
Bruce Mowbray: actually, I spun out on some loose gravel.
Bruce Mowbray: got really badly scraped up.
Roxana Falconer: I bet that stung
Bruce Mowbray: It hurt like hell.
Bruce Mowbray: I actually passed out from the pain.
Bruce Mowbray: that was about 30 years ago.
    Roxana Falconer: Ouch!
    Bruce Mowbray: yeppers.
Bruce Mowbray: I sold the bike soon afterwards.
Calvino Rabeni: That has happened to me. it is a strange experience
Bruce Mowbray: Now I stick to walking.
    Roxana Falconer: I bet
    Roxana Falconer: Life shapes us
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I guess one could call it "strange" -- The passing out, you mean?
    Calvino Rabeni: yes
    Bruce Mowbray: (another parallel, Cal.)
Roxana Falconer: Passing out from the pain is not strange
Roxana Falconer: If that is what you are referring to
Calvino Rabeni: Well, OK, hopefully it is somewhat unusual then :)
Bruce Mowbray: Well, one minute you're there -- and the next minute, you're not there...
Roxana Falconer: The body shuts down to protect itself
Bruce Mowbray: I woke up in the emergency vehicle -- and the attendant was asking me if I was pregnant...
Roxana Falconer: but I bet it did feel strange
Bruce Mowbray: And we started laughing together.
Bruce Mowbray: and I was bleeding all over. . .
Roxana Falconer: LOL why would he ask you that?
Bruce Mowbray: To take my mind off the pain, I guess.
    Roxana Falconer: Did it?
Bruce Mowbray: I think he'd already given me Demerol, by then.
Bruce Mowbray: One of life's little growing experiences.
Calvino Rabeni: I crashed one time on a night mountain bike ride - I passed out on that for a while
    Bruce Mowbray: Oh wow!
    Roxana Falconer: Oh you guys!
    Bruce Mowbray: That's scary, Cal.
Roxana Falconer: This is scary LOL
    Roxana Falconer: ^5
Calvino Rabeni: It seems, every time I visit southern Oregon, I run into the yearly downhill mtn bike race
Bruce Mowbray: Shall we show Roxy our scars, Cal?
Calvino Rabeni: those guys are completely gonzo
Roxana Falconer: You'll embarrass me LOL
Calvino Rabeni: the kind who hardly have anything that HASN'T broken
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
Calvino Rabeni: but I'm pretty moderate
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I was watching skateboarders on TV today -- and they were talking about broken bones.
Calvino Rabeni: probably the mean between one of those guys and a couch potato
Calvino Rabeni: Yes I heard your voice, Roxana
Bruce Mowbray: Oh -- maybe Roxy doesn't know -- Since we post our chats on the wiki, we don't normally use voice here.
Bruce Mowbray: But There is a voice session on Friday afternoons...
Calvino Rabeni: Well typically, but it is OK if you like :)
Bruce Mowbray: No problem, Roxana -- You have a lovely voice.
Roxana Falconer: It's not important for me to be lazy
Calvino Rabeni: It's just not a custom - but that was fun
    Roxana Falconer: thanks!
Bruce Mowbray: I enjoyed it too.
    Roxana Falconer: Wow
Roxana Falconer: I should do that more often
Calvino Rabeni: There is a Friday 12PM voice session here
Bruce Mowbray: My internet connection is too slow for voice -- which is probably a good thing!
Calvino Rabeni: You can't use Skype either, Bruce?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, Yaku does a session with everyone in voice... noon on Fridays.
Calvino Rabeni: How about regular telephone, that works OK I guess
Roxana Falconer: I will try to remember that
Bruce Mowbray: Nope -- no SKYPE -- which is probably DOUBLY a good thing!
Bruce Mowbray: Yep. Regular phone is np.
    Calvino Rabeni: Cell phone?
Roxana Falconer: Why is that a good thing?
Bruce Mowbray: no cell phone -- never had one.
Bruce Mowbray: Cuz folks don't want to look at my mug, Roxy.
    Roxana Falconer: Oh....whatever!
    Bruce Mowbray dies from laughing....
    Calvino Rabeni dies from laughing....
    Roxana Falconer: Not true
    Roxana Falconer: Silly guys
Calvino Rabeni: Calvino Rabeni smiles at Roxana
Roxana Falconer: *sticks her tongue out*
Calvino Rabeni: Do you use Internet at the public library, Bruce?
    Bruce Mowbray: Yes, I do.
Bruce Mowbray: especially when it is really HOT.
Bruce Mowbray: Then they get to pay for the A/C and for the Internet.
Calvino Rabeni: Better speed there then at home, good connection I suppose
Bruce Mowbray: but that town is 15 miles away from my farm.
Roxana Falconer: Our library has really fast Internet service. Does yours?
Bruce Mowbray: Yes, much better speed -- so if I want to download something large, I go there to do it.

    --BELL–

    cindy Yanwu: hi guys
    Roxana Falconer: Hiya Cindy!
Bruce Mowbray: Hi, Cindy. How are you tonight?
Bruce Mowbray: Is this your first time at the pavilion, Cindy?
Bruce Mowbray: We post our chats on a website wiki -- It is all right with you to do that?
cindy Yanwu: yes its my first time
    Bruce Mowbray: cool! Welcome, indeed!
    cindy Yanwu: yes
Bruce Mowbray: I've just given you a notecard that tells about Play as Being.
Roxana Falconer: Cindy in new like I am
Bruce Mowbray: Oh, Roxy -- You've been here before (;-)
Roxana Falconer: Sorry I mean to sl
    cindy Yanwu: hahaha yea
Bruce Mowbray: Cindy, we meet four times every day -- in SL times, at 1,7,1,7 -- every six hours.
Roxana Falconer: what time zone are you in Cindy?
Bruce Mowbray is also pretty new to SL, Roxy.
Bruce Mowbray: Oh my -- Cindy is only 2 days old! --
Bruce Mowbray hopes Cindy is all right. . .
Roxana Falconer: I am out of here. See you all later. Nice to meet you cindy
    Bruce Mowbray: Bye, Roxana.
Calvino Rabeni: Bye for now, Rox :)
Bruce Mowbray: see you again, Roxana.
    Roxana Falconer: Yes you will!
    Roxana Falconer: Bye!
    Bruce Mowbray: ;-)
    cindy Yanwu: bye
cindy Yanwu: umm do you guys have houses
Bruce Mowbray: I do not have a home in SL, Cindy -- I don't know about Cal, though.
cindy Yanwu: then were do you live
Bruce Mowbray: I am what is known as a "camper" -- I do have a campsite. . .
Calvino Rabeni: What is a camper?
Bruce Mowbray: a place that I go when I am off-line -- to park my avatar for the night.
Calvino Rabeni: Some people use the Botanical Garden for that
cindy Yanwu: clvino do you have a house
Calvino Rabeni: There is one near here that I set up, but I don't use it that much
Calvino Rabeni: mostly just to go when I first log in
Calvino Rabeni: Sit and think, etc.
cindy Yanwu: how did you buy it
Calvino Rabeni: I built a thing or two there to try building and scripting
Bruce Mowbray: also when I want to change my appearance..
Calvino Rabeni: It is part of this sim, it belongs to the group, not me
Calvino Rabeni: SL is huge, I know lots of great places that are usually empty
cindy Yanwu: like which ones? -- i'm looking for a place to live
Bruce Mowbray: In order to build a house, Cindy, you have to own land to build it on.
Bruce Mowbray: You can also rent houses, though.
cindy Yanwu: i want to rent a house but i have no money i have no job i dont know how to earn money
Bruce Mowbray: Mmmm. Do you know about Linden dollars?
    cindy Yanwu: no

    --BELL–

Bruce Mowbray: well. . . You should probably go to Orientation Island -- There you can learn all about how things are bought and sold in SL.
Bruce Mowbray: also the Second Life Knowledge Base.
    Bruce Mowbray: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Knowledge_Base
Bruce Mowbray: Folks, it is almost midnight here -- and I am fading fast.
Bruce Mowbray: Cindy -- I wish you well in Second Life.
Bruce Mowbray: Please know you are welcome here.
Bruce Mowbray: We meet four times daily, as I said earlier.
Bruce Mowbray: SLT times: 1,7,1,7 -- around the clock and around the world.
Bruce Mowbray: Cal, be well. I will see you again soon, I hope.
    Calvino Rabeni: Sleep well, Bruce
    Calvino Rabeni: Dream hearty :)
    Bruce Mowbray: G'night!
Calvino Rabeni: It's about time for me to go also Cindy - good to meet you. Come again or feel free to wander around this area
    Kristall Silverweb: hello
    Calvino Rabeni: Hello Kristall
    Calvino Rabeni: como esta usted
    Calvino Rabeni: ?
    Kristall Silverweb: bien
    Kristall Silverweb: gracias
    Kristall Silverweb: .)

Calvino Rabeni: De USA, y ud?
    Kristall Silverweb: colombiana
    Calvino Rabeni: :)
Kristall Silverweb: i was here last time in a meeting with Yakuzza, do you know him?
Calvino Rabeni: Puedo bailar un poco - ... tango
    Kristall Silverweb: tango
    Kristall Silverweb: suena interesante
    Calvino Rabeni: Se, lo conozco
    Kristall Silverweb: donde aprendiste tango?
    Kristall Silverweb: o con quien?
Calvino Rabeni: Yakuzza - he has been studying - Spanish - did you meet him at that Spanish school in SL?
    Calvino Rabeni: Estoy terrible :)
    Calvino Rabeni: "Dance Studio"
Calvino Rabeni: Un escuela pequena - en mi ciudad
Kristall Silverweb: I met him some time ago in another network, although i go to that school in order to assist the teach, dance studio hmm, NY?

    --BELL–

Calvino Rabeni: All the big cities in USA have dance studios for tango and salsa - this one is in Seattle
Kristall Silverweb: i'd like to learn tango. Some of my classmates at high school and colleagues are professional dancers , so it makes me curious
Calvino Rabeni: I'm eclectic too - know a very little, about a lot of things :)
Kristall Silverweb: So do I :)
Calvino Rabeni: I chose tango because it seems very - definite - and yet one may improvise
Calvino Rabeni: although I'm not good enough to do that yet :)
Paradise Tennant: smile hello :) this is the really late late session I take it ;)
Calvino Rabeni: but I like having "room to grow"

Lucinda Lavender: They are from VietNam so this was delicious
    Paradise Tennant: yum
Calvino Rabeni: Kristall, these meetings have a chat recorder - the talk goes into the group's wiki. We ask visitors if that is OK ? Did Yaku tell you about this?
Calvino Rabeni: And if you do not want it, then your words can be taken out
Lucinda Lavender: Paradise...interesting emanations from your dress...
    Lucinda Lavender: :)

Calvino Rabeni: This dress is by the same designer, Para?
Lucinda Lavender: Curious if it has a name
Paradise Tennant: nods yes she is so very talented and imaginative
Calvino Rabeni: As you know I'm a big fan of these designs
Calvino Rabeni: In fact they're a bit pscho-active
Calvino Rabeni: this one is almost like , I don't know - maybe the medieval feeling of cherubim or putti
Lucinda Lavender: Bringing on various mental states?
Paradise Tennant: It is call the air dress
    Lucinda Lavender: ah
    Calvino Rabeni: Yes, it's subtle

Paradise Tennant: there is a fire one
Paradise Tennant: not yet an earth one :)
Calvino Rabeni: Nothing for male avatars ?
    Paradise Tennant: hmm
Lucinda Lavender: I am remembering a high school feeling...or realization about clothing not being important...and then as a 30-year-old I began to play more with clothing
Calvino Rabeni: It was the fad back then
Paradise Tennant: no there is sort of feather thing that might .. be like a male tribal .. get up .. but nothing for men .. it is pretty much all girl stuff
Calvino Rabeni: in this part of the country
Lucinda Lavender: for clothing not to be important
    Lucinda Lavender: yes
Calvino Rabeni: Girls have the best wardrobe options
    Lucinda Lavender: :)
    Lucinda Lavender: very dreamy
Calvino Rabeni: Yes, but I learned, it was not the same everywhere even then, by traveling
Paradise Tennant: was the same until I had a boss that insisted on "best bib and tucker " i.e. very formal business attire
Calvino Rabeni: any place with a warmer climate, basically
Paradise Tennant: yes girls get to be expressive with clothing in a way men do not
