The Guardian for this meeting was Scathach Rhiadra. The comments are by Scathach Rhiadra.

This was a short session unfortunately, as some issues were raised which deserve a lot more attention

    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello travieso
    Travieso Sella: hello
Scathach Rhiadra: How are you today?
    Travieso Sella: I'm allright...
    Travieso Sella: yourself?
Scathach Rhiadra: i'm fine thank you:)
Scathach Rhiadra: is there any topic you want to talk about?
Travieso Sella: Oh I don't know. I've been bringing up quite a few lately.
    Scathach Rhiadra: any in particular
Travieso Sella: Well, last time I brought up motivation for work. Before that I talked about dealing with anger.
Travieso Sella: I mentioned once recently- mindfullness in Buddhism. But then everyone stopped talking for a really long time. So I left.
    Scathach Rhiadra: oh:)
Scathach Rhiadra: yes, mention of Buddhism seems to cause a problem, or so it seems to me
Travieso Sella: I normally don't have a problem with it here. But it depends on the group.
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
Travieso Sella: I'm starting to think alot lately though taht I'm far too cynical or angry to idenitify much with many spiritual groups on here. But I'm still interested in it.
Scathach Rhiadra: can you say more?
Travieso Sella: Well, it just creates to separate worlds for me in a way. On one hand I can deal with other spiritually minded people, or anyone who wants to discuss something intellectually. And on the other, there is the larger world that just seems full of negativity. And I deal with that in a differnt way. I guess with more cynicism or anger.
Travieso Sella: Or a larger community that seems to be too worldly for me in a way.
Scathach Rhiadra: do you mean like a separation between 'spiritual' and the ordinary world?
Travieso Sella: perhaps... I mean, I feel like the worldly clammers sereve only to waste my time. And it seems very cold to me and hard to identify with, people with their mundane and self-centered concerns for example. I guess that's what I mean.
    Travieso Sella: clammorers*
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
    Travieso Sella: hi nymph
Nymf Hathaway: Hello you two :)
Scathach Rhiadra: I think that is a very common feeling , I know sometimes I feel like that too
    Scathach Rhiadra: Hello Nymf
Scathach Rhiadra: a bit like I am going in one direction, and others going a different way, and trying to pull me in to their way, if that makes sense
    Travieso Sella: yeah
Travieso Sella: To get more to the point of what I am thinking lately, I feel alot of frustration and anger I guess in dealing with most people. I like to think of it as a positive force at its best. But it creates this strange barrier between that and other beliefs of mine. But I'm not trying to go on about this, if there's anthing else someone would like to talk about...
Scathach Rhiadra: no Travi, I think this is important:)
Nymf Hathaway: I agree with Scathach, just read the conversation before I got in
Travieso Sella: Of course I know there's a lot of people who feel a lot of the same things and have a hard time dealing with people. Sometimes it can ruin one's life. But he world seems indifferent because of it's short-sightedness...
    Travieso Sella: ah ok
Nymf Hathaway: well if you considor Humans are lazy... always on the look out for a quick fix or short term happiness... people who think are rare
Scathach Rhiadra: we talk a lot about just letting things be, dropping judgment and appreciating everything (and everyone) as they are, but it is not so easy to actualise that
Nymf Hathaway: People often feel attacked personal as well
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
Scathach Rhiadra: and become defensive, it is natural to protect ourselves
Travieso Sella: I'm being pulled away in about 5 minutes. But I'm glad this is being discussed. I'll have to read the site.
Nymf Hathaway: yes but when people would take the time and step back from feeling personally attacked... we would understand each other a lot better I think
Travieso Sella: Communication is very difficult I think.
Nymf Hathaway: It only takes effort
Scathach Rhiadra: You mentioned groups earlier,do you find thay can lose their original freshnes, and become more about 'the group'?
Travieso Sella: Well, that's one of my big complaints, especially about sl
Travieso Sella: people still tend to gravitate towardthe herd or mob mentality over individuality
    Scathach Rhiadra nods
Nymf Hathaway: People like to belong... for sure in sl, what you experience I think most people do
Travieso Sella: I think this is at an unhealthy level as well, to the extent that we try to stamp out anything different or mysterious
Scathach Rhiadra: try to make people conform, make the group stronger
Nymf Hathaway: sorry but I need to log off, wishing you both a nice conversation
Travieso Sella: okay gtg. Was nice to speak withyou both
    Travieso Sella: cya
Scathach Rhiadra: nice seeing you Nymf, take care
    Nymf Hathaway: Sorry Scathach :(
Scathach Rhiadra: bye Travi, take care:)
