0 - Emails 

Group discussed upcoming nominations and changed meeting time from Wednesday to Tuesday this month.

1 - Guardian Nominatins

One avatar was nominated to put forward for the larger group approval and invitation.

Lucinda Lavender: it is a yes for me
stevenaia Michinaga: I have always enjoyed his attendance and conversation

2 - Unfinished Business

Stargate was resent an inworld invitation to the playasbeinghere group, in order to be able to rezz in the village. Information on the wiki will be updated to reflect. Action: Eliza
 

Stevenaia will be meeting with the person managing a retreat area, to get details about tentative retreating in New York area, in October:
 

stevenaia Michinaga: I will be meeting w/ someone who works there on saturday to get the details/costs, etc and put it out there for discussion, do we ahve any specific cates other than October to shoot for?
I'll see what they have open for now
Lila Darkmatter: wonderful, and no there haven't been specifics floated
stevenaia Michinaga: suspect it will take a few calls next week (Or an email this week)

3 - Upcoming Priority

It is nearly time for A NEW Working Group to take shape! This will be discussed soon via emails and guardians sessions. The next WG begins in APRIL, coinciding with PaB 6th anniversary!

 

4 - Plans for Collaboration with Creatives and Other SL Groups

- San and Aphrodite will meet this week to discuss artistic and theater connections that might be good workshop or collaboration opportunities, and will update via guardians sessions or emails. 

- Eliza updated the group about the latest guardian session, and to give an update that at this time Bleu is unable to commit to a leadership role of a "second wing" project. However, many unable to take main leadership role would still like to be involved and as long as we don't push forward too aggressively, we should be able to play in the theater soon. - Cat may help to co-plan a poetry session to take place in the molecule as well.
 

Ewan Bonham: Is it my understanding that you are now opening up PaB more to the public?
Lila Darkmatter nods Ewan... or at least beginning to test that idea
Ewan Bonham: OK..
stevenaia Michinaga: everyone loves an audiance

stevenaia Michinaga: and we do that well
Lila Darkmatter: I think PaB goes flat without visitors
Lila Darkmatter: or somewhat flat
stevenaia Michinaga: good point
stevenaia Michinaga: new directions and fresh thoughts are like catching a football and running with it
Lila Darkmatter: I (also) have a friend who used to haev a place called Mystic Academy... and he liked the molecule...to do some kind of vedic presentation
Ewan Bonham: I think that if you have a featured speaker ...like the one on Dreams some months ago... it draws folks in..
Lila Darkmatter: Ewan, you mean Fox?
stevenaia Michinaga: What can we do to assist in this "project"
Ewan Bonham: Yes, lila..
Lila Darkmatter: I'm not sure what will be helpful, other than encouragement and participation
Lila Darkmatter: it is OK for instance if people would like to work on things during sessions sometimes, or talk about ideas, keep in touch
Ewan Bonham: A lot of notices sent does bring folks in..

Lila Darkmatter: and I'm going to plan to keep meeting for guardian sessions in the molecule
Lila Darkmatter: the last guardians session made me dizzy though.. could hardly keep up.. but I think that was just initial enthusiasm
Lila Darkmatter: I may need to "not host" the guardians sessions but just have them for a whle

Lila Darkmatter: :) yes... amazing how sometimes posting it, things seem so clear
Lila Darkmatter: the world of chatlogs is its own :)
stevenaia Michinaga: yes, I used to spen over an hour posting my chat longs, now I do it in 5 minutes, I think I do less spellcheck now
stevenaia Michinaga: opps, maybe not
Lila Darkmatter: an hour... that's about what guardians sessions take me posting from hard drive

5 - Vision Talk
(this will also give a bit of idea of the feel of Working Group meetings, for next round!)

Ewan Bonham: I think there are several folks who are well thought of and could bring in folks..
Ewan Bonham: for talks..
Ewan Bonham: Poetry sessions..
Ewan Bonham: And international dances..
Lila Darkmatter: some things that are unanswered , with regard to tip jars for instance.... I don't think Storm or Pema like the idea but maybe for people to take tips on their own - not sure
stevenaia Michinaga: anyone can tip anyone person to person
Ewan Bonham: People can place their own tip jars..

Lila Darkmatter: thats kind of the main obstacle of blending... that there is a "PaB" vision that we no longer adhere to really... would like to preserve that too
stevenaia Michinaga: I think if the premise of PaB is mentioned to the presenter, it may influence their offerings
Lila Darkmatter: I almost gave up PaB recently.. at least took a close look at why I'm here
Lila Darkmatter: but does our notecard match our objectives?
Ewan Bonham: That may be a good place to start..
stevenaia Michinaga: the notecard has evolved over time
Ewan Bonham: As there should always be a Mission that frames our actions..
Lila Darkmatter: the notecard is great
Ewan Bonham: Do we need a session to look at the Notecard in detail? (the one we give to visitors)
Lila Darkmatter: the question is more whether it would be beneficial to do so.. to go further away from first idea
Lucinda Lavender: seems like a good thing to look at! for me Especially
Lila Darkmatter: I don't think so.. but maybe I'm just overthinking
Lucinda Lavender: I meant looking at notecard
Ewan Bonham: Can't hurt to have a meeting about it..
stevenaia Michinaga: renew, refresh is always a good thing from time to time, gees, I shound like the Constitution
Ewan Bonham: Perhaps for all in PaB who are interested..
Lila Darkmatter: well for me it is more of a meta issue
stevenaia Michinaga: at a guardian meeting? or via the email list
Lila Darkmatter: I think the notecard describes the heart of the group well, the intentions
stevenaia Michinaga: as it should... with qualification, of course
