Adams Rubble: Good morning Riddle :)
    Riddle Sideways: Good Morning, Adams
Riddle Sideways: all most sort of getting light out
    --BELL--
Adams Rubble: the sun is shining here but it is very cold
Riddle Sideways: from about 5 have been hearing an owl hoot
Riddle Sideways: like the sound in SL
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: it is nice to feel it is like home :)
    Riddle Sideways: both directions
Riddle Sideways: yep, so many people build homes in SL
Riddle Sideways: then often go on to build things that they can't in RL
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: some have very big roomy houses with no clutter at all
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, that would not be reality
Riddle Sideways: wha? bedside stands without a pile of books?
Adams Rubble: beds without bedside stands :)
    Riddle Sideways: no!
Adams Rubble: all of the clutter is in the onventory :)
    Adams Rubble: inventory
    Riddle Sideways: ah, exactly
Adams Rubble: we can carry more stuff than Santa Claus :)
Riddle Sideways: been going to all these Advent gift giving events and shops
Riddle Sideways: have collected soooo much inventory
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: some rl people do that with their shopping
Adams Rubble: just have to have that Christmas candle on a sleigh with eight tiny reindeer with a little old driver so lively and quick
Adams Rubble: but old Marley was dead as a door nail
Riddle Sideways: Sister filled her house with so much yard sale nick nachs
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: this year she started selling some of it off
Riddle Sideways: oh dear, now looking at this RL house
    Riddle Sideways: and the piles
Riddle Sideways: and the backups of stuff, so we never run out
Riddle Sideways: Costco pallots of toilet paper
Riddle Sideways: backup bottle of 500 vitimins
Riddle Sideways: a freezer drawer that won't close because it is too full
Adams Rubble: it is easy to forget how rich we are in so many ways
Riddle Sideways: watching TV shows of families walk across desserts with nothing
    Adams Rubble: modern hunter gatherers
Adams Rubble: us, not the people walking across the desert
Riddle Sideways: sitting on couch surrounded by so much stuff
Riddle Sideways: surrounded by this stuff, so we don't have to get up and get
Adams Rubble: at least we are not the Queen of England :)
Riddle Sideways: might need to pause the show (where is that remote!)
Riddle Sideways: to ask the phone what else that actor was in
Riddle Sideways: remembering back to times everything fit in a backpack
Riddle Sideways: and the time everything fit on a bicycle
Riddle Sideways: now that thought of packing all this stuff up and moving is so intimidating
Riddle Sideways: fat and happy modern hunter gatherers
    Adams Rubble: ho ho ho
Riddle Sideways: except has it all made us Happy?
Riddle Sideways: each year Ho Ho Ho time rolls around again
Riddle Sideways: and need to find just the right stuff to give
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: how does one get out of this trap?
Adams Rubble: one just steps aside :)
Adams Rubble: it is all in the head
Riddle Sideways: yes, intellectually know that
Riddle Sideways: looking over at a tower of boxes containing every artwork each child made growing up
Adams Rubble: there are new children
Riddle Sideways: new children gluing popcycle sticks together and adding glitter. that the parents will keep forever
Riddle Sideways: the children that drew that picture of a Mastodon on the cave wall
Riddle Sideways: that the generations never could paint over
    Adams Rubble giggles
Riddle Sideways: generations later, the people still lit candles on Friday night in secret. None of the family remembers exactly why they do that
Riddle Sideways: so every house needs candles and a wine glass and those religious items over there
    Riddle Sideways: and these books
    Riddle Sideways: and
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: a scene from the Steve Martin movie "The Jerk"
Riddle Sideways: "I don't need any of this stuff, I am leaving"
    Riddle Sideways: "Except this stapler"
Adams Rubble: one should never underestimate the need for a stapler )
Riddle Sideways: not Even going to explain why the need for 5 Bass guitars
    Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: I will not try to explain the box of staplers that used to belong to my father
Riddle Sideways: and the importance of the stapler in that bad comedy movie "Office Space"
Riddle Sideways: the old saying about "For the lack of a nail..."
Riddle Sideways: so we keep this box of nails around
Riddle Sideways: actually 12 boxes of nails. of many different sizes
    Riddle Sideways: so much stuff
    Riddle Sideways: all justifiable
Riddle Sideways: mother made that tacky pillow the cat is sleeping against
Adams Rubble: sailing toward death surrounded by all the comfortable furnishings in our cabin
    --BELL--
Riddle Sideways: all these comforts will not go to death's grave with us
Adams Rubble: With that note I hope you have a good weekend :)
Adams Rubble: and a good day
Riddle Sideways: yes, and you too
    Riddle Sideways: have your best
Adams Rubble: thank you for being here today
    Adams Rubble: bye for now
    Riddle Sideways: by All
