Riddle Sideways: ah
Riddle Sideways: plus, check emails and blogs
Riddle Sideways: for possible topics ㋡
Adams Rubble: Julian of Norwich
Riddle Sideways: that was new. had to look her up
Adams Rubble: an anchoress
Adams Rubble: 14th century English mystic
Adams Rubble: an anchorite/achoress was a person walled into their cell for the rest of their life usually attached to a church with a window so they could see the altar and receive the Eucharist
Adams Rubble: Julian was the author of revelations, a series of 87 revelations
Adams Rubble: lots of visualizations of Christ bleeding
Adams Rubble: Christ was like a mother in that he willingly suffered for the "children", i.e. us
Adams Rubble: welcomed suffering if it benefitted the person
Riddle Sideways: and how would one see into the future and the big picture to Know it would benefit the person
Adams Rubble: divine love
Adams Rubble: timelessness
Riddle Sideways: very deep hole that did not know to explore
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: it is all about divine love, but the metaphor is Christ as a mother loving her children
Adams Rubble: Julian herself may have been a mother before becoming an anchoress
Riddle Sideways: how many other previous matriarchal writings may have disappeared
Adams Rubble: women weren't given many opportunities to get schooling
Adams Rubble: Julian probably dictated her work
Riddle Sideways: and the scribe did not take credit
Adams Rubble: no
Riddle Sideways: and the revelations/showing were kept and published
Riddle Sideways: an amazing turn
Adams Rubble: Gampopa also talks about maternal love in his Jewel Ornament of Liberation
Adams Rubble: a long passage
Adams Rubble: One might ask how Adams Rubble came to be reading Julian of Norwich and Gampopa the same week
Adams Rubble: life is funny
Riddle Sideways: one did start to ask that
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: then moved on to what does it mean
Adams Rubble: the Holy Spirit moves in mysterious ways
Riddle Sideways: there is a series of blogs re: multi book readings the same week
Riddle Sideways: that Must make so interesting crosstalk in you
Riddle Sideways: singing "We always did feel the same. We just saw it from a different point of View"
Riddle Sideways: in a previous blog, Adams Rubble has a dialog regarding the dreams and dream world
Adams Rubble: Hooray. I was allowed to participate
Riddle Sideways: which syncs with multiple thinkings
Riddle Sideways: Yes, you had a feeling you were not being allowed, but ...
Riddle Sideways: the cycles had not turned enough back then
Riddle Sideways: so many Hermits sit in their caves thinking it All out
Riddle Sideways: and organize the note they might pass out of the cave
Riddle Sideways: to tell the world
Riddle Sideways: a pilgrim scales the mountain's hardships to receive the message
Riddle Sideways: after so long a journey back, takes it to a publisher
Adams Rubble: life is like a beanstalk, isn't it
Riddle Sideways: Life is a long song
Adams Rubble: not as silly as it seemed back in 1960s
--BELL--
Riddle Sideways: the hermit could not write so goodly, the pilgrim mis-understood, the publisher sent it to an Editor
Riddle Sideways: who reduced, rewrote, put their ego in, polished, crafted
Riddle Sideways: the old great story
Riddle Sideways: run through the game of telephone.
Riddle Sideways: in a related (only in one's mind) story. Went to a 'movie' yesterday
Riddle Sideways: first time in a couple years
Riddle Sideways: a silly movie named "Doctor Strange"
Riddle Sideways: had some stuff about 'The Multiverse'
Riddle Sideways: and dreams
Riddle Sideways: passing through dream states, connections, dream walking, etc. to alternate realities
Riddle Sideways: universes, multiVerses
Riddle Sideways: besides the surface jokes and tags to other Marvelverse Stan Lee inventions
Riddle Sideways: there was several strange twists on parallel universes
Riddle Sideways: and alternate realities
Riddle Sideways: made for some interesting mediatations last night
Adams Rubble: :)
Riddle Sideways: Dream Notebook has many identical worlds being visited often
Adams Rubble: That morphs into how i was going to comment on your previous thread about things getting lost in the message from the cave
Riddle Sideways: good
Riddle Sideways: /listens
Adams Rubble: It seemed to me that the message of PaB was to explore and learn from experiments
Adams Rubble: set a hypithesis and test it
Adams Rubble: it seems that is Buddha's main message as well
Adams Rubble: so Hermit in cave's message is most important if it is something we can explore, experiment retest
Adams Rubble: does that make sense?
Riddle Sideways: yes
Riddle Sideways: how to get that hermit direct message?
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: In Tibet they traveled to the hermit teacher
Adams Rubble: many hardships
Adams Rubble: "would you be my teacher?"
Riddle Sideways: ther is a good possiblity that many of the greatest guru/hermits were not good teachers nor would take on students. they were too busy
Adams Rubble: go away kid, you bother me
Adams Rubble: get off my lawn
Riddle Sideways: right
Riddle Sideways: want to think that their Lost messages comes up again and again, trying to surface
Riddle Sideways: trying to be retested
Riddle Sideways: and known
Adams Rubble: lots of messages available to us here and now :)
Riddle Sideways: hmmm, So many messages, so little time
Adams Rubble: yes so our own explorations are important
Riddle Sideways: Post-its on a beanstalk
Riddle Sideways: aren't they?
Adams Rubble: try to discern reality from our wrong views
Adams Rubble: the beanstalk is made up of the same stuff as we
Adams Rubble: we ARE the beanstalk
Adams Rubble: the beanstalk ARE us
Riddle Sideways: as it always has been
Adams Rubble: yes
Riddle Sideways: thar be hypothisisi here
Riddle Sideways: just need to pull them out of the weeds
Adams Rubble: :)
Adams Rubble: Thank you for the session today
Adams Rubble writes a note to set up a June page
Riddle Sideways: more to-do post-its
Adams Rubble: take good care
Riddle Sideways: am leaving with more to think about then when started
Riddle Sideways: as it should be ㋡
Adams Rubble: I hope that is good
