Riddle Sideways: Good Morning Adams ㋡
Adams Rubble: Good mornijn
Riddle Sideways: Good Morning Aggers
Adams Rubble: I had to load the new Forestorm
Agatha Macbeth: Greetings
Agatha Macbeth: Is forestorm better than firestorm? :p
Riddle Sideways: is the new FS ok on your computer?
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: I don't know
Agatha Macbeth: Only time will tell
Riddle Sideways: some typos are better than others
Adams Rubble: you two are still not rezzed in and there are two big glare spots
Riddle Sideways: glare spots?? not clouds?
Agatha Macbeth: Beware the glare!
Adams Rubble: where the openings are in the p[avilion is bright white
Adams Rubble: ahhh, Riddle just rezzed in and one of the bight white spots has trees
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe you need to fiddle with your graphics prefs
Adams Rubble: poof. Agatha just rezzed in
Riddle Sideways: whew
Adams Rubble: my typist has a bad cold
Riddle Sideways: oh dear
Agatha Macbeth: Aww
Riddle Sideways: hope it is just a summer cold
Agatha Macbeth hugs you to warm you up
Adams Rubble: as opposed to an all year affair?
Riddle Sideways: go back to bed with a cup o tea and a stack of books
Agatha Macbeth: Or a cup of books and a stack of tea
Riddle Sideways: reading tea leaves?
Agatha Macbeth: Make tea not war
Riddle Sideways: was reading Adams' latest blog and might need to go off researching details
Agatha Macbeth: Oh
Riddle Sideways: these Dead Sea scrolls pose more questions
Adams Rubble: :)
Agatha Macbeth: Ah Inspired Texts
Agatha Macbeth: Txts are often inspiring I find
Agatha Macbeth: And texts too
Adams Rubble: reading Jubulees from Ethiopian Bible
Riddle Sideways: few of the txts on phone are inspiring
Riddle Sideways: book texts are
Adams Rubble: I like the idea that modern Judaism and Christianity are sister religions
Riddle Sideways: yes
Adams Rubble: both come from ancient Judaism
Riddle Sideways: that one did not begot the other
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: lots of sibling rivalry
Agatha Macbeth: There were never such devoted sisters
Adams Rubble: Pharisees got bad press in the Gospels
Agatha Macbeth: The 'original' Judaism perished in when the temple got nixed then?
Riddle Sideways: the first time or the second??
Adams Rubble: more or less but the synagogue movement was already underway
Agatha Macbeth: in 70-73
Adams Rubble: 70
Agatha Macbeth: That's right, 73 was Masada
Adams Rubble: Qumran scrolls show that earlier Judaism was more pluralistic
Riddle Sideways: funny that they were counting the years downward
Agatha Macbeth: If it's AD/CE it should be upward
Adams Rubble: it was very confusing
Adams Rubble: besides that they got 6 BCE mixed up with )
Riddle Sideways: got more confusing when those dead sea scrolls showed up
Agatha Macbeth: Yes Jesus was born just before Herod died
Agatha Macbeth: What inspired you to do St Anne particularly?
Adams Rubble: A few thiings. One is the loss of my grandchildren's grandmother and what it meant to them
Adams Rubble: The other was that it connected with Gheertgen Tot Sint Jans Holy Kinship that she had worked on
Adams Rubble: In that sense it was a way of connected to her
Agatha Macbeth: Sounds Belgian
Adams Rubble: It also connected to my son's Byzantine interests at a time when i am going through his papers and library
Agatha Macbeth: Right
Agatha Macbeth: There's still a bit of the Temple left isn't there?
Agatha Macbeth: The Wailing Wall
Adams Rubble: The western Wall and whatever might be beneath
Agatha Macbeth: And the Dome of the Rock is on the site now?
Adams Rubble: and the big mosque
Adams Rubble: Al Aqsa
Agatha Macbeth: Al Aqsa?
Agatha Macbeth: Yep
--BELL--
Agatha Macbeth: Well obviously no archeological digs are likely to happen there
Riddle Sideways: yes there are diggings behind the wall
Agatha Macbeth: Even Yigael Yadin couldn't swing that :P
Agatha Macbeth: Oh behind it
Agatha Macbeth: I know they found some stiff from when the Knights Templar were there
Agatha Macbeth: Stiff?
Agatha Macbeth: Stuff
Adams Rubble: They are finding the stiffs in the bogs
Agatha Macbeth: Too much tea perhaps
Adams Rubble: need some levity to distract from the deep issues of the temple mount
Agatha Macbeth: They might actually work things out in that part of the world one day
Riddle Sideways: much need of levity
Riddle Sideways: might.
Riddle Sideways: amazing that much of the rock to build the mount came from underneath it. Have walked that underneath.
Adams Rubble listens
Riddle Sideways: And that women are allowed to walk and prey in the tunnel
Adams Rubble: hopefully pray
Riddle Sideways: whoops
Agatha Macbeth: Maybe they prey too who knows?
Adams Rubble: prey on whom?
Agatha Macbeth: There's a lot of it about
--BELL--
Adams Rubble: I don't know anything about tunnels under the mount
Adams Rubble: art histoprians should know these things
Agatha Macbeth: Isn't that where Solomon's stables were?
Agatha Macbeth: You read all this stuff for years then it begins to get forgotten
Adams Rubble: sounds like somthing else I need to do research on
Adams Rubble: Thank you for being here. sorry I was late
Agatha Macbeth: Always something else
Riddle Sideways: already have so much to research
Riddle Sideways: ponder ponder ponder
Adams Rubble: have a good week. don't read the news this week
Adams Rubble: bye for now
